Remember when the price of Apple was falling and I was saying that Warren Buffett was buying Apple stocks. Boy I was wrong

He was actually selling Apple stocks in this video. We will look at the latest 13F Filings of Berkshire Hathaway

which stocks Warren Buffett has been buying and which stock he has been selling?

If you're new to the channel

Please consider subscribing an iguana video every day about the stock market about investing and about

Entrepreneurship to help you become a better investor

Let's start with Apple

Berkshire Hathaway sold about 1% of the shares of Apple

They sold 3 million shares of Apple, but actually it was not done by Warren Buffett himself

First of all, let's understand how he manages

Perfectly, so it's no longer just one. We're investing the stock market anymore

He has other managers who manage the funds and assets of the company. So with over 700 billion u.s

Dollars as assets in the management for people managers those assets, of course

The main one is Warren Buffett managers

Most of these assets Charlie Munger the vice-chairman of the chapter will also manage those assets

But there is also Todd Combs and Ted Weschler who manages assets of Berkshire Hathaway

So these are the four made and money just fund managers about the way and each one of them is independent from each other

To talk and dead

They don't need to ask permission from Tory Munger Warren Buffett before buying or selling a stock

There's also Ajit Jain who is responsible for insurance or Berkshire Hathaway the reinsurance insurance part of the business

there is Greg Abel responsible for energies and

Utilities and also railroads. So all these people the independent we can manage the funds and

especially if you look at insurance if if for example

Argentine sees that he wants to take the money on the internet and buy Treasury bills

He can do this without the permission of Warren Buffett. So this is how right now culture. How do we operate?

So what actually happens with Apple this was not done by Warren Buffet himself. This was done by either dead or third

I don't know exactly

Who one of these people actually saw the share that they were managing of Apple and the same thing can be said about Oracle

I don't think really Warren Buffett were the one buying Oracle shares and they're selling it of the Fremont

This is not a perfect like investment

So it was either don't buy Ted Weschler or third comes but they have long term

philosophies but I don't know how much money exactly they are managing and of course when you see

Investments in the technology right now is mostly not by Warren Buffett

Because one the fact he himself says that doesn't understand he technologies

Even Charlie Munger's doesn't understand the technology

So when you see these technology investments, it's mostly from these two people

Now you should be asking ourselves the question why when I am Ivette did not invest more in Apple when the price was poorly

this it's hard to see we need to wait for his annual letter for us to have an answer and

The letter will be coming maybe next month too. We will do more underneath that comes

So right now we got uh, negotiate some hypothesis white-wine yourself by in my opinion

26% of the portfolio was already in the apple and it was too much of a risk

Because perfect doesn't understand technology and that's why I think he did not want to buy

Much more shares of Apple because we know I've been saying this at 2019 doesn't look so good for Apple

Maybe he's expecting the price to go to vs. Up. He can buy moshus of Apple

So of course, this is only a hypothesis

We should be waiting for the nectar to know more about Apple but lost August Warren the that on his birthday idea

He said that he loves our but he believes in upward. So I don't think has lost any faith in Apple now

Let's have a look at the new holdings of the Shahadah wind. There are the three new companies to the portfolio

The first one is red hard. It is a software company

IBM is going to acquire this company very soon

They are waiting for regulators to accept this so we don't know actually at what time?

Russia has to win the state England hat wasn't before the announcement that IBM was going to buy this company after the announcement

Because if it was before then they have made a huge profit on this investment, but even if it was later

still they are going to make profits when IBM is going to buy the company IBM is going to acquire the company for

180 folios dollars per share

All right now which are on 180 so even today if the buy a share of this company they are going to make profits

So this is something called workouts

If you will read the letters of both work the Fed the letters to lease partnerships in his partnership to his partners

And then the desert to pursue with shareholders, you will see that he talks a lot about workers

This is what is a work out that companies which will go from mergers how he can make money from these

This is something that talks about induct in his earlier letters the second company that he added to his portfolio

Eastern Co energy, this is a Canadian energy company. The third one is don't go. It is not a people of Brazil. So

this is that company and

It's highly unlikely that it's worm perfect for both shares of this company

It's mostly one of the other managers now

Let's have a look to the largest addition to the popular the largest one of them all instruments companies

increases position by 68%

Even having buying shares of commoners companies in my video about the free start

I'm buying in February 2000 and and I say that I'm going to buy travelers companies

This is a company with a great crop prospect in the coming year

So I think even more but that sees the prospect in this company and that's what is investing in this one

The second one is JP Morgan Chase

48% addition to the portfolio. That one is General Motors

additional

37% so if we look at the general mood those

Turnovers right now has a period of six which is very low compared to the industry average and historical average

So that's why I believe one of the facts is great value in General Motors for one is PNC Financial Services

35% the addition to the portfolio in the coming weeks is next week. I'm making a video on PNC Financial Services

Fifth one is the Bank of New York Mellon plus 4% addition to portfolio

I made a video about back on New York Mellon last week

Six is US bank. Oh, this is three point five percent

I show to the portfolio immediately about US Bancorp is coming on Thursday and the back on America made a video a

Few weeks ago they added around 2% action to his book for you

He sold out the only one stock that is Oracle now

Let's have a look at the stocks in which he reduced his position. The largest one is finished

66 in the truth is position by 22%

Second one is United Continental Holdings are 150 percent. Third. One is the charter communication 4%

Fourth one is well over 3% captured understand doctor he regularly

reduces his position in West Boca because he will default around 10 percent of the bank and

according to the SEC and other regulations in the United States

He cannot put more than 10% and that's why when the bank is buying back their own shares

He also has to reduce his position in this Bank fifth one is the Southwest Airways

He reduced his position by two percent. And of course six one is about the reduced position by one percent

so what we can conclude from all of this in that Warren Buffett is

Investing a lot a lot more in the banking industry in the financial industry

I'm missing that the best this is the best sector to invest right now because of the not only the current

Fundamentals of these companies huh? But also because of the rising interest rate

this will give them a great environment for for them to grow in the coming years and also the

Triple conscious develop their own cryptocurrency score the GPM coin and this is going to facilitate the growth of that

even Bank of America they have DW Erica and

the other leaders in

technical companies like this book or muscle Oh

People who wanted to actually go into v-tach

but banks are showing that they don't want this companies and definitely tech now and they

Already to compete and with the huge prophecies of the bank are getting right now

Of course

They can complete the having a massive

Tax rate cut for the best sensor do not come became brands that now the best only P are deep 21 percent

tax rate on their profits before

2016 they use two to thirty seven percent of profits as ducks

So of course, this is another factor, which is going to lead for mokra for the best

and now if we look on the activist right bank

For example opponent sucks this there's an under profit that the market right now is volatile and volatile market is a great

Thing for investment bank that me know in the comments. What do you think about those stocks which were perfect food and he sold and

Why is Free WiFi Dangerous? Simply Explained. - Duration: 8:22.

We've all been there before.

You arrive at a coffee shop and you notice a sign that says "Free WiFi".

Of course you know that you shouldn't really trust free wifi, but what's the worst that

could happen?

So you open up your laptop, connect to it and start working.

Simply connecting to an open network is already potentially dangerous.

The WiFi protocol cannot verify that you are actually connected to the WiFi access point

from the coffeeshop.

Someone else can create a WiFi network with the same name and then your devices will connect

to it instead.

That is because devices automatically connect to the strongest, known network available

and a known network is only identified by its name.

With a device like a WiFi Pineapple an attacker can do just that: set up a fake WiFi network

to capture and analyze your internet traffic.

But let's ignore that risk and connect to the WiFi anyway.

At this point your device becomes a part of the coffee shop's network.

This means your device can see and talk to all the other devices that are connected to

the same WiFi network, but they can also connect to you.

If you're running outdated software you could be hacked by someone sitting a few tables

away.

And it's not as difficult as it sounds.

There are penetration testing tools available like Metasploit that can scan any device on

the network and identify vulnerabilities.

Once complete, the tool returns a list of security holes that can be abused to get access

to the device in question.

Yikes!

So keeping your devices up to date and having the firewall enabled is a must!

Updates to fix newly discovered vulnerabilities and the firewall to block people from accessing

your device through the network unwantedly.

So with the latest updates installed, you continue working.

But right now all of your unencrypted traffic can be intercepted by anyone who's on the

same network.

That includes things like unencrypted email, ftp connections and every website without

HTTPS.

Yikes!

That sounds pretty bad!

So you decide to keep it safe and instead login to your bank account, your favorite

social media website or the intranet from work.

You know that these are safe because your browser shows a green lock next to the website's

address.

But as it turns out, that's a common misconception.

The lock means that the connection between the website's server and your computer is

encrypted with the TLS or SSL protocol.

So nobody on the network can see your username and password for instance.

You can see this because the URL starts with HTTPS instead of HTTP.

But the lock doesn't guarantee that you're connected to a legitimate website.

A fake or malicious website can also get a green lock next to its name without any trouble.

One way attackers can take advantage of this is by trying to redirect your bank traffic

for instance to another domain name that is very similar.

Like going from generalbank.com to generаlbank.com.

Did you spot the difference?

The "A" in general was replaced by a Cyrillic character.

This is called the "IDN homograph attack" and browsers now have special protection on

board that will warn you when a domain name has a mix of regular and Cyrillic characters.

However, the technique can still be used with misspellings.

Like generaIbank.com where the L was replaced with a capital I.

To make matters even worse, the fake website can be made to look almost identical to the

real one AND it can have a green lock.

So in a way, the lock gives a false sense of security.

That's one of the reasons why Chrome and Safari are putting a smaller emphasis on the

lock.

They want HTTPS to be enabled by default and only draw attention when a website isn't

using it.

In fact, that move is also making another type of attack harder: SSL Stripping.

In a nutshell, an attacker can try to downgrade your secure HTTPS connections to an unsecure

HTTP one.

When successful, the data you send or receive over that connection won't be encrypted,

allowing the attacker to see what sites you visit along with your username and password.

However, modern browsers are now warning you when you're about to login to a website

with an unsecure connection.

That makes SSL stripping harder because people are very likely to spot the warning that most

browsers will put up.

Right now it's still a small warning, but eventually it will be a bold red one.

But SSL stripping can also be prevented if a website owners implement HSTS or HTTP Strict

Transport Security.

This allows them to say that their website should only be loaded through a secure connection.

If someone tricks you into loading an insecure version of a website, your browser will outright

refuse to load it.

The only downside is that website owners have to explicitly enable this feature.

If one fails to do so, you could be vulnerable.

A solution to this problem would be to use a browser extension like HTTPS Everywhere

that automatically switches to HTTPS if a given website supports it.

Wow, that all sounds pretty bad.

But then again, open WiFi is completely open.

What if the owner of the coffeeshop puts a password on his network and then writes the

password somewhere on a wall?

Would that make a difference?

Well, not really.

It's almost like locking your front door but leaving the key on the outside.

The password only prevents people from joining the network if they haven't been inside

to see it written on the wall.

If you know the password however, you can join the network, become a part of it and

perform all the attacks we just discussed.

Protect yourself Okay, enough with all the possible ways you

could be hacked on public WiFi.

How can you protect yourself?

The most obvious answer is to avoid public WiFi networks at all costs.

But that is pretty difficult with us all depending more and more on having an internet connection.

A better, but potentially expensive solution would be to invest in a good mobile data plan

and use a mobile hotspot whenever you don't have a trusted WiFi network.

The connection between your computer and the hotspot is encrypted and, in theory, can't

be intercepted.

And finally you could use the free WiFi anyway and use a VPN to secure your traffic.

VPN is short for Virtual Private Network and it creates a secure connection, also called

"tunnel" between you and the VPN server.

All your internet traffic is then sent through this tunnel and encrypted in the process.

That way nobody on the public WiFi can see your traffic or mess with it.

However there is a catch.

If you can't setup your own VPN server, you have to use a third party service, which

will cost a bit of money.

And secondly, the VPN provider can see all your unencrypted traffic, so it's best that

you pick a service from a vendor or brand that you trust or has a good reputation when

it comes to privacy.

Before ending this video, I want to mention that you don't have to feel bad if you use

free WiFi without thinking about the security risks.

According to a 2017 study from Symantec, 75% of the 15,000 participants don't use a VPN

when connecting to an open WiFi network.

It also revealed that 60% of participants felt safe using public WiFi, even though it's

anything but safe and 87% even admitted to accessing their personal emails or even bank

accounts using free WiFi.

So time for a conclusion then: free WiFi hotspot are potentially very dangerous and few people

really understand the risks.

As shown in this video, there are a bunch of security features on the web and on our

computers that protect us.

But unfortunately the bad guys are pretty clever in finding ways around those!

So, here is a Simply Explained top tip: keep your devices up-to-date and if you must, use

a VPN when connecting to an open WiFi network.

Whether you want to use an existing service for this or set one up yourself is up to you!

So that was it for this video.

If you learned something from it, hit that like button and consider getting subscribed.

Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you in the next video!

2019 Mazda6 Is A Quality Saloon That Will Make You Feel Special - Duration: 2:04.

Mazda has been improving the 6 family sedan steadily over the years, and the latest 2019 model is seen as one of the best propositions in the mid-sized class

Its smart and clean design language makes the Mazda6 stand out from the crowd without being too flashy, while the interior will put to shame much more expensive and premium rivals, especially if you go for one of the range-topping models like the one featured in this review

The redesigned dashboard is finished with plush materials and clever design details that create a special atmosphere

The seats are comfortable and supportive front and rear, while the eight-inch infotainment system is easy to use

However, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are optional. The engine range consists of three petrol options in the UK, ranging from 143hp to 191hp on the top-spec 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G, and two diesels with 148hp and 181hp

A six-speed manual is offered as standard, with an automatic being optional

On the road, the 2019 Mazda6 proves to be comfortable and quiet enough over longer journeys, with the six-speed manual transmission offering the precise mechanical feel Mazdas are known for

The top-spec diesel engine remains the pick of the range for the UK, as it offers plenty of poke and refinement along with impressive fuel efficiency

Is the 2019 Mazda6 the unsung hero of the mid-size saloon class? It sure sounds like it – but you can learn all about it by watching the video that follows

And all of a sudden, this loud, like, ruckus, you know,

comes about.

And we looked up, and then there's [INAUDIBLE],,

and then there's this other person.

And I'm just sitting there, like--

what is going on?

Here you go.

And hello. - Mom.

Hi.

This is Vanessa.

Hi, Vanessa. Hi.

- It's nice to meet you. - Hello.

Oh, my god.

You're so full of--

[LAUGHTER]

OK, well--

May we join you?

Sure.

Do you have space?

We have space.

We just placed our order.

We're just talking about-- - Oh, these are for you, Mom.

Oh, those are beautiful.

- And this is for you. - Thank you.

Happy birthday.

I hope you like it.

Thank you.

So did you have any idea?

Surprise, surprise.

OK, well--

Mom, this is-- this is Vanessa.

Hi, Vanessa.

Hi.

I didn't want to--

you know, I tried to be careful with surprising you with too

much, but I wanted to-- you know, take

advantage of the opportunity for you

to meet our significant other.

Whatever's going on, you know, I'm sure y'all--

are working those plans out, and--

I have no interest in this lifestyle.

Yeah, I can't wrap my head around it.

this is where i learnt that it's ok to be me - Duration: 1:27.

My name's Faith.

I study pharmacy.

I wanted to do science and help people,

and it helps me do both.

There's a word for when a patient

and a pharmacist agree on something

that they're going to do together.

It's not about me telling you what to do, it's about me helping you

do what's best for you.

There's this weird exploration moment

where things kind of click because it works.

There's that kind of like warm feeling that you kind of get when you

help somebody out and you help them answer a question,

and I really like that about pharmacy.

I've always really enjoyed just being around people.

I get a lot of energy from feeling other people's energy.

I saw them dancing downstairs in the SU and I was like

"Oh my gosh I need to dance with those people!

I wanna dance with them, I can do that!"

There are so many societies on campus

and so many options to get involved.

You just step up, find what you like doing

and do It with other people.

I just got involved in everything under the sun

because I could, and I could just be me and just

be as reckless and wild as I wanted to.

You get a lot of chances and you get to kind of

fall into the you that you are,

not the you that you thought you should have been

when you got here.

Is lead-generation really the key to long-term business success? - Duration: 2:34.

Hi.

My name is Taylor Hill, and I'm here with another really good Power Business Minute.

So, let's talk about long term business success.

A lot of times people have this idea that to have really long-term business success,

you have to be a lead-generating machine.

That's really not true.

Everything that comes down the pike, all the studies, everything you read...what they'll

tell you is if you want long-term business, it's really in your retention.

How many of those current customers that you have today...that you're retaining and being

able to provide service to anytime they need it.

No matter what you do.That really is the key to long-term business.

So, how do you retain customers?

One of the easiest things you can do, because I've got several of them on my refrigerator,

is give out those doggone calendars or reminders that's just a magnet that people put on their

fridge.

I mean, we have papers and I have grandkids that send me pictures, and I use those things

all the time.

I can't tell you how many times I look up there and go, "oh yeah, I need to call that

guy that cleans my gutters!"

That's just an example.

So, what else can you do?

I talked about communication before.

Making sure that you have email addresses.

One of the cheapest ways to communicate with your current customers is really through email.

Being able to email them, and say, "Hey, it's a reminder of your annual service."

or "We've got this new special going on..." or whatever it is.

It keeps that customer...they know that you're thinking about them, and it keeps you top

of mind in their eyes.

This is just a couple of very easy ways, and I'd love to know...what else do you do to

retain your current customers?

Let us know!

Put it in the comments below.

We would love to be able to share some additional ideas, but that's just 2 real quick ones that

I get from people that I do business with every year.

But, there are others.

Let's get going and share and talk about it.

Thanks!

I've wanted to be a midwife since I was 13.

I think even the most hard-faced midwives

are touched by most births.

You've got that little flutter in your belly

and your heart's going like mad

because you've got that adrenaline as well.

I remember the first emergency I was part of

and I thought how are these people

doing this?

Because you can't write that in a textbook,

it's almost like another language.

It kind of becomes second nature just by

watching other people and picking up what they do.

I've struggled with the headspace and

mental health, and keeping myself

grounded really, because

you feel like you're going a bit midwifery mad.

When we come back from shift,

we generally have a sit down and a cuppa.

We have that bit of a debrief.

There are people

in the uni that will help.

That lovely lady in counselling who just listened to me ramble,

but rambling is good.

I've got my book of births and I record every one,

because I want to remember that when I'm 60.

It does feel like a bit of fate that I came to Bradford.

Yes, they want to produce a midwife,

but you're the Midwife you want to be.

I realise just how much of an impact midwives have on people.

Coming to Bradford,

it's provided me with the opportunities to do,

what I've always said I've wanted to do since I was little.

It means the world.

Last year I did a student exchange abroad.

I went to Japan,

so I lived in Tokyo for a full year doing games design.

You need some sort of spark of imagination.

I was seeing the country and experiencing

life in a different culture,

drawing stuff and designing stuff.

I like creating stories from character design

and that's why I kind of focus on in my course.

I've always wanted to express myself and

be these characters.

When I was really really young,

I've always wanted to be a wrestler.

Very recently in fact,

I've found that there is a wrestling gym close to me.

I'm so happy I came to Bradford,

I wouldn't trade my experiences for anything.

It's provided me with the opportunity to go wrestling

and tell stories in that ring.

It's provided me the opportunity to go to Japan.

It's provided me with the opportunity to

do game design and have fun, and tell stories with my friends.
