What Tool do I use for Wire Antennas projects? - Duration: 7:46.
Welcome back ladies and gentlemen every time I do video on wire aerials and
show this strange-looking contraption a lot of people go what's that then so
what I thought it's just one through my favoritest tools that I use when I'm
playing wire aerials or any wiry okay so I'll take the mystique out of these very
simply if I can get it right this time you put some wire in here you hold this
down snap together and it ain't strips the end so that's what it does it strips
the end pretty well actually so that that's what I do there right
wire stripper about 20 bucks but now Alice these happen to be called I said
we've got more famine I wore out the last ones where they wear out actually
something happened to the clickity clock and Stuart was down idly mucking around
one day and I gave him I said can you fix them and he did but then they went
off again so I don't know what he fixed so I just thought I'd get more expensive
ones donate I don't spare the horses when it comes to buying tools these on
the other hand these are reset see Barco side cutters now just listen to this i
hold upon a microphone I can't get over quite a beautifully these cut but so
again about 20-25 bananas for my birthday
these apparently are there these are Barco as well
but a slightly different format so right there like they're like well you'll see
that they just they cut in a different manner they're not scissors if you don't
I mean now these are quite small versions and if thought that we can have
handles like this these are bit cheaper but these are about 20 bananas as well
and obviously I've got a close-up camera over here look so hopefully you see that
it just that's in a way that you'll end up with this very sheer top if you do it
to me which I like because I wanted it to cut like that and then do my and then
I get this perfect well I don't even have to twist the ends together I'll
just get this I think the top that I could put little solder blob on and do
whatever I need to so anyway so this time there then in the
main I can live with that by also like these are cheat and cheerful from a
company called Draper okay that probably like two or three apples these are just
the what they sort of flattened micro pliers there we are and then but I like
them because once I've got particularly with d-10 that military stuff I used
quite a lot once I've got an end probably a bit bigger than that
you've got an end in d-10 you normally find its place out a bit long I'll hold
it there because I've got a different lens on them and these are just great
for grabbing old at the top basically and then giving it a really good twist
or for twisting three or four wires together and a big not so cheap as chips
just very small handy now these also Draper remarkably cut quite well as well
and these are only two or three oranges maybe I don't know draper in the main
all the Draper stuff I've got is pretty crap but those two are like quite a lot
right now what the hell are these well some of you guys will know what these
are these are actually tin snips great for cutting through a steel sheet very
thin sheet but I use it for all sorts of things like if you wanted to cut through
nylon webbing works very well I wonder if it'd work probably works on that
later I think that's why really well as well tin snips beware if you buy some
tin snips and these are fat Macs so he's a Stan Lee aren't they 15
tangerines are a thought not a lot of money these are the 14 - 206 is but tin
snips coming left hand curl right hand curl and straight I didn't know that
these are straight cut okay so there we go
I don't use them on tin even though they're tin snips are use them on
everything else beware it's not quite a scissor angle there because there's some
fulcrum action going on somewhere along the line or are they yeah so it's not
just like a pair of scissors it's a bit of extra effort going on with because as
you we got the two inches so quite a lot of its back to 2:1 effort you know for
every one more than that I've got four inches of effort there to get you know
half an inch of effort there but anyway and then haha I found I found my little
blade cutter things now these are online but I forget who gave them to me
somebody did or found them in the car long time ago like she and I just fairly
stirred a while I was rooting around looking for these tools just to bring
home for tonight you see and then you press a button there we are this button
here that and the whole thing drops back down again and also don't forget your
sharpie ah if only I'd had sharpies when I were in that hey but we didn't have
sharpies we're not related because well I didn't and what why did
they create the name Sharpie anyway why is it called sharpie and put that camera
off now amazing I've just been on Carl's channel by the way we're up to think one
eighty seven hundred which is amazing because he was only on 337 or something
yesterday ah that's all let's just keep it short and sweet
Enjoy your Radio chaps - apparently I haven't been saying that and some people
enjoyed the format of "enjoy your radio" .. I'm always here for you. A very good day!

Man Utd make contact over £70m move for Jadon Sancho… Man City would receive huge boost - Duration: 2:56.
But they could be helping their Premier League rivals Manchester City in the process with the youngster having been part of the academy at the Etihad
Sancho, 18, has impressed at Dortmund, having scored eight goals with ten assists from 28 appearances this season
It comes after he made the switch to the Bundesliga club from City for £8million in 2017
The Englishman left the Etihad after failing to receive assurances that he would be given regular game-time
But after a successful time of it in Germany, The Sun report that Manchester United are keen to bring Sancho back to England
It's claimed the Red Devils have been told to pay £70m for Sancho. But that would mean £10
5m goes to City, with a 15 per cent sell-on clause in their original deal with Dortmund
Manchester City would also have the option to match whatever offer Manchester United make thanks to another clause in the deal
Speaking back in October, City boss Pep Guardiola praised the United target. "I don't know," he said when asked if the player would return to the Etihad
"In football you never say no, but I don't know. "I think when he decided to move on from here it is because he doesn't want to be here
"When he doesn't want to be here I think he's not looking forward to coming back here
That is what I think right now. "Maybe in the future – new club, new managers – but I don't know
"We know what we have done with Jadon. We did absolutely everything and he decided to move on to Germany so all the best
"He's doing really well. He's started his career and hopefully he can achieve what he was looking for
"It's a good sign for England that players are going there because it's important for the future
I'm glad he's playing well."

Opinion Munich or a Requiem for the West The New York Times
It and x27;s no longer worth pretending Trump is not in the authoritarian camp. The shock has passed. European powers are thinking again.
Opinion Columnist
MUNICH — If the had a soul it was embodied in Senator John McCain, always an invigorating presence here and always a fierce advocate of the trans Atlantic alliance. Hes gone now and so is the idea of inevitable liberal democratic convergence, replaced by great power competition in the age of the strongman.
The meeting comes hard on the heels of a strange gathering in Warsaw — yes, Warsaw — convened by the United States and devoted to Peace and Security in the Middle East. It might better have been called Pipe Dreams on the Vistula or Trumps America Bashes Europe.
At the Warsaw conference, Vice President Mike Pence at Germany, France and Britain for trying to break American sanctions against Iran. He seemed as incensed by Europes malign behavior as by Irans — a curious case of the United States aiding Vladimir Putins divisive agenda in Europe.
The truth is that the Trump Administration broke the Iran nuclear agreement, undermining Americas word, whose value has declined around the world as sharply as Irans rial currency over the last 18 months.
Germany, France and Britain believe in the evidence that the nuclear agreement is working, with the Islamic Republic in compliance. The accord was never supposed to transform Iran overnight or sprinkle fairy dust on the Middle East. It was meant to keep Iran from going nuclear. Its doing that.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, on a hapless mission to shape Trumps caprices into policy, declared, You cant achieve peace and stability in the Middle East without confronting Iran. He has this upside down. Peace and stability in the Middle East are impossible without Iran.
The Islamic Republic is too big and too influential to shut out. Its not going anywhere. To say this is not to advocate appeasement. Iran, 40 years after its revolution, is beset by internal contradictions and is predatory abroad. It is to recognize that, as with Europes successful Ostpolitik during the Cold War, engagement with a rival power may be the best way to change that power and defuse confrontation. Behind the nuclear deal lay this conviction. It is inscribed in postwar Germanys DNA.
German American relations are now at a low point. Multilateralism was not just a policy for postwar Germany. It was a core belief. In the construction of a rules based world order anchored by international organizations, including the European Union and NATO, lay the assurance that history could not repeat itself.
Trump has never encountered a multilateralism he does not loathe. The world, for his administration, is a place where rivals compete for advantage. The president is for muscular unilateralism in a Hobbesian world — except he hasnt heard of Hobbes. Global community is pie in the sky; Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, a lost cause.
The relationship anchoring the world that the Munich Security Conference sought to buttress has been drained of meaning.
This is why Wolfgang Ischinger, the former German ambassador to the United States, wrote in his welcoming remarks of a reshuffling of core pieces of the international order and a leadership vacuum. Who carries aloft the flag of liberalism and its values with anything resembling the autocratic convictions of the new strongmen — Vladimir Putin in Russia, Xi Jinping in China, Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey, and Donald Trump in the United States?
Its no longer worth pretending that Trump is not in the authoritarian camp. The shock has passed. Europeans have internalized the shift. The best they can offer as libertys beacon in Americas stead is Emmanuel Macron, the French president, and Merkel. He is being yellow vested, and she is in her twilight years.
If there is a particular foreboding hanging over this conference, it lies in the fact that the sonderweg, or loosely wayward path, of Trumps America has occurred just as Europe splinters. Brexit is weeks away. Spain has just called yet another election. In France and Germany and Spain, the major political parties are losing power or disintegrating, challenged by nationalist xenophobes, leaving a fragmented political topography. Instability is inevitable.
Trump favors such fragmentation because he believes it will leave weaker European powers more susceptible to his winner takes all bullying. Europeans have no illusions about this. The old order has frayed to the point of dissolution. It was based on the conviction that words have meaning. For Trump, they do not, as his declaration of a national emergency on the southern border with Mexico underscores. Without meaning, no law, no treaty, is worth the paper its written on. This is the real danger confronting the West.
During the Warsaw theater, Roxana Saberi of CBS News confronted Pompeo on the hypocrisy of the United States denouncing human rights abuses in Iran while embracing Saudi Arabias Mohammed bin Salman, who, in the assessment of the C.I.A., ordered the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, the Washington Post columnist. Pompeo lost it, twice calling Saberis legitimate inquiry a ridiculous question.
European powers see such braggadocio for what it is. They are contemplating the world without its postwar American anchor. Cometh the emergency declaring strongman. Hes pitched camp in Washington, no less.

what is economics?
How did economics start?
How is economics
different from other social sciences?
All these questions
have revolved in our heads for a long time
and it is time
that we answer these questions..
Economics is the social science
that studies the production , distribution and consumption of goods and services.
Economics focuses
on the behavior and interactions of economic agents and how economies work
The publication of Adam Smith's
" The wealth of Nations" in 1776
has been described as " The effective birth of Economics as a separate discipline".
How is economics different from other social sciences?
Economics borrows from multiple sciences,
example sociology or law,
to explain why and how
people act to improve their well being and wealth.
Behavioral economics borrows from psychology and history
to analyze how past experiences may shape expectations about the future.
I may be biased, but I genuinely believe
that studying economics or being an economics major,
is one of the most valuable things a millennial college student can do today
to get ready for the post graduate world he or she will face.
Economics not only trains students to think
it also allows them to gain critical problem solving skills.
As a result Economics majors end up
working in a wide variety of jobs in a vast number of industries.
Now
let us see what led the Holy cross college to establish the economics dept
Over the past four years
after the establishment of economics dept
in holy cross college
the dept
has made a huge progress in both academics
as well as co-curricular activities.
Let us take a look
at what the dept has achieved
over the short span
and what the Head of the Dept has to say.
*Sorry for the inconvenience caused*
As you have seen
economic majors end up
working in a wide variety of jobs
in a vast number of industries
I think
this flexibility
is a tremendous plus because it makes a college graduate
much more marketable in a digital technology world
where so many of the professionals
of the future
are still evolving
If you major in economics
you can go to Wall street
in banking and finance
You can help any number of companies with big data
You can transform yourself
into an entrepreneur
You can go into Government
and help mold public policy
You can nurture
economic development around the world

Modi calls meeting to build support for action against Pakistan India News Al Jazeera
Indias foreign ministry said US supports New Delhis right to self defence against cross border attacks.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting of political parties to build support for action against Pakistan following a in the disputed Kashmir region that raised tensions with its neighbour.
Modi had earlier promised a after the Pakistan based armed group, Jaish e Muhammad, also known as , claimed responsibility for the on Thursday that killed 44 paramilitary officers.
Earlier, Indias foreign ministry has said the United States supports New Delhis right to self defence against cross border attacks following the Kashmir incident.
In a readout released on Saturday, the foreign ministry said US National Security Adviser John Bolton spoke to his Indian counterpart, Ajit Doval, on Friday night, promising to help bring those behind the attack to justice.
"The two NSAs vowed to work together to ensure that Pakistan cease to be a safe haven for JeM and terrorist groups that target India, the and others in the region," the foreign ministry said.
"They resolved to hold Pakistan to account for its obligations under resolutions."
Indias government said it had evidence that JeM had Pakistans backing and demanded Islamabad take action, escalating the already tense relationship between the neighbours.
Formed in 2000, the JeM or Army of Muhammad is a based armed group that aims to undermine and overthrow Indian control over through attacks on security and government targets.
The group was founded by Masood Azhar, who previously fought under the banner of Harkat ul Mujahideen and has been linked to .
Pakistan condemned the attack and rejected Indias allegations.
On Friday, Pakistans Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua held a meeting with ambassadors of the United States, , , Britain and , to push back against Indias accusations.
In a statement, Janjua complained about "a familiar Indian pattern of immediate and reflexive assignment of blame on Pakistan without investigations."
On the same day, Pakistans Foreign Office also summoned Indias top diplomat, Acting Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia, to protest Indias , according to state owned Radio Pakistan.
India has for years accused Pakistan of backing separatist groups in divided Kashmir, which the neighbours both claim in full but rule in part.
Pakistan insists that it only offers political support to Kashmirs suppressed population.
Indians have poured onto social media to vent their fury over the suicide bombing in Kashmir, with many of them calling for swift retribution against Pakistan as TV news shows hosted jingoistic debates.
When he swept to power at the head of a Hindu nationalist led alliance in 2014, Modi vowed to pursue a tough line with Pakistan. The two countries have gone to war three times since independence from Britain in 1947, twice over Kashmir.

BlueDriver Bluetooth Professional OBDII Scan Tool for iPhone, iPad & Android - Duration: 10:59.
what's up everybody and welcome to the life of Scott if you're watching this
video on my main youtube channel the life of Scott or welcome to Wagner time
89 custom cars if you're watching it on my Clarke channel so we're doing a
full-out review of the blue driver I did one video already of this using it with
my 98 Ford Explorer but now we're gonna do a whole nother video using it on the
new 2008 Ford Mustang just to see what comes up now what I like about this
little guy over car ID and fixed and other different brands that are cheaper
this one typically is around $99 you can get it used you can add multiple
vehicles on it but what I like about this little guy you can do a whole lot
of things more and you don't have to have a check engine light to see
different stats so let's stop wasting your time and let's get right into it so
let's go to the Mustang here we go alright first of all you're going to
want to locate your port so we got it plugged in the port when you get it
you're going to want to follow the directions but it's pretty simple since
we already got to set it up we are now you need to have bluetooth enabled on
your phone so go ahead and get your bluetooth under your settings so we're
gonna go under settings and we're gonna just make sure Bluetooth all right we
have it on you are going to want to download the app of course again follow
all the settings but this is just for review for you guys before you even do
it so we're gonna load the blue driver
no we don't gotta miss beshe alright so now we want to add a new vehicle so
let's go under more options let's see here
no we don't need to contact them so let's do settings okay so we're now
going to add the VIN number of the vehicle or you could enter your own so
we're gonna do a VIN number for the Mustang so we can add it to blue driver
so you can also scan your VIN number barcode too but I manually entered it
because it's pretty dark in the garage so then you know once you scan
everything you'll come up with this menu and then you can click vehicle's
specifications meeting schedule recall service bulletins and then you know you
can do other stuff which we'll get into so we're going to go under the specs
then I'll tell me my model year 2008 Ford Mustang base two-door coupe
manufacturer sequence number engine type fuel type horsepower engine code drive
line vehicle type vehicle class restraint system country assembly plant
identification check digit miles per gallon average and a whole bunch of
other different things alright so now let's go under some other settings here
let's do meet in schedule so now you can do this and this will say what you
should change at certain Mouse so all this stuff and then you can set
notifications so you can get used to you can click recalls and here it'll show
every single recall for your vehicle alright service bulletins let's see what
this is about here we go here's different service bulletins on different
things alright so now we are going to turn the ignition on we got the ignition
on
turning on the vehicle I don't think we have to turn the vehicle actually but
all right so now we're gonna go under live so we're gonna pull this out the
driver out push it back in so it's blinking now it's blinking blue here we
go we are now loading it's connecting to the vehicle computer so now then you can
see everything active so it's going to show everything on here so supported
let's still engine load coolant temperature you can do fuel trim the
intake manifold pressure engine rpm let's still you can do timing intake air
temperature okay so they recommend not doing more than five at once so we got a
bunch here so let's just see what's going on here there's the engine rpm
different stuff
so I think green means good not sure I I think so
I believe that tout does it raids it on color let's turn some stuff off for you
let's do get rid of that to get rid of the pressure alright now let's go check
out some other stuff here mass airflow rate runtime distance travel while
activate I mean all this stuff fuel level will output let's go back
so fuel level output 91.4% so that's green looks like mass airflow rate is
actually pretty bad so wonder if the filter is clogged you see how it's
darker line there well we got a new air intake system to install and I want to
add some more stuff on here we don't need the fuel fuel system status do we
want where's a fuel system status Oh
feels ok so I guess we don't need that one so let's go back down and see what
else we want here but you can you can censor all this stuff I mean control
module voltage yeah so I guess we're good back okay so there's the voltage
push now cooling temperatures heating up so scan tool now we can do read codes
which you can read codes clear codes saved reports freeze frames smog check
and we're going to do that right now
skin here we go we're scanning now and this will show if there's any errors or
anything misfires anything and na means not available so it looks like
everything's good so it passed so that's a good way to know if you'll pass an
inspection mode 6 yeah I'm not sure with that what mode six actually is I know it
looks a whole bunch of other stuff it's been a while since I actually use blue
driver cuz I didn't use it on my Ford Explorer I just did it to test so it's
good back to menu model status yeah flashlight so yeah
freeze-frame I'm not sure what that is
it's a lot of things you can read your manual and different stuffs alive
there's just the stuff we got under more and different stuff so that's why I love
this it's so cool so many different things just go up here select whatever
you want see if there's anything we want to check
hmm command ETR EGR error we're just gonna select a bunch I know it says not
to but we are going to so you can just check different um one so here we go
wish it was fair in the height I don't know how we can change that or not
okay guys so that is it um I gave it a 9 out of 10 I loved it I loved the whole
okay let's stop wasting gas I love this Mustang alright guys so let's stop
wasting gas and yeah I give it a 9 out of 10 love it love the blue driver great
little tool better than all the others out there take care guys and thanks for
watching drop it
yeah

As authorities continue looking into the deadly standoff in San Jose, the UPS driver who was held hostage for hours is hailed as a hero by police. Ian Cull reports.
The San Jose police chief on Friday praised the actions of the UPS driver taken hostage by an armed carjacker, who was eventually shot and killed Thursday by authorities on city streets.
The UPS driver purposely drove slowly over spikes to stop the vehicle, according to San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia. In order to keep police on their trail, the driver said he told the hijacker that UPS box trucks could only go 50 miles an hour.
"This guys amazing, I really need to give him an application or something," Garcia said at a news conference Friday. "He purposely drove over the spike strips ... they actually wanted him to drive faster and he lied and told them the UPS truck couldn"t go over 50 miles per hour because he didn"t want the police to lose the truck."
The chase began late Thursday afternoon after a sheriff deputy approached a suspicious SUV illegally parking by the Ohlone Chynoweth VTA light rail station.
The San Jose police chief on Friday praised the actions of the UPS driver taken hostage by an armed carjacker, who was eventually shot and killed Thursday by authorities after a tense pursuit and standoff on city streets. Robert Handa reports.
Mark Morasky and a female suspect identified by police as 24 year old Joanna Macy Rogers were inside the vehicle and they took off as soon as they recognized the approaching deputy. Officers later relocated the vehicle nearby and thats when thewoman fired one shot at the sheriffs deputy vehicle.
Authorities said the woman shot at officers at least three more times during the pursuit along Highway 87.
The SUV exited onCurtner Avenue and the suspects abandoned their vehicle. Thats when they spotted the UPS driver walking, and forced him at gunpoint to get into his box truck and drive, according to Garcia.
San Jose police then joined sheriffs deputies in the chase. The UPS driver eventually took the exit on Skyport Drive and the pursuit turned into an intense standoff on North First Street and Trimble Road.
A dispatch call from thestandoffconfirmed what friends of the suspect told law enforcement officials, that he didnt want to live through the confrontation with officers.
"The suspect also said that he wanted to die tonight," an officer can be heard telling the dispatch center in the call before Morasky was eventually shot and killed by police after he ran from aUPS truck he allegedly hijacked with a shotgun.
San Jose Police Department Chief Eddie Garcia provides updates on the standoff with a suspected armed hijacker.
Several of Moraskys friends had been talking with him on the phone, trying to calm the situation.
"He was scared," friend Amanda Bazzani said. "He called me and said, I love you, Im in a standoff. And then he was saying goodbye, and I was like, No, no, dont say that."
Macy Rogers was released from the UPS box truck and taken into custody, according to officials. The unidentified UPS driver who was taken hostage was safely released.
Chief Garcia said Macy Rogers was charged withattempted murder, car jacking, kidnapping and shooting at occupied vehicles.
Morasky ran out of the truck with a shotgun and was shot by a San Jose police officer. Investigators later made a grim discovery in the SUV Morasky and Macy Rogers were driving. "They had the loaded shotgun of course, additional shotgun shells, but also duct tape, a machete and zip ties." Sheriff Laurie Smith said.
Morasky was on parole from armed robbery and carjacking charges. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and served four years in 2012, according to Garcia.
A standoff in San Jose on Thursday ended with authorities killing a gunman they say hijacked a UPS truck with the driver inside. According to dispatch call records, the driver said he wanted to die.Kris Sanchez reports.
The officer who shot and killed Morasky has been placed on paid administrative leave. Internal Affairs and the District Attorneys office continue to investigate the incident.

Liverpool have made a £61million bid for Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne, according to reports in Italy
Jurgen Klopp is already looking to boost his Reds squad ahead of next season, despite sitting at the top of the Premier League and in a three-way title race with Manchester City and Tottenham
According to La Repubblica, the Reds placed the offer for Insigne through agent Mino Raiola and his father - as the Reds didn't want to approach Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis due to his volatile past
The offer was almost immediately rejected by De Laurentiis when the news filtered through the outfit
The fee was around half of the price tag the Serie A side have slapped on their prized possession - with the Italian open to offers of £131m
Insigne would add more competition to Liverpool's already uber-talented front line - with Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Xherdan Shaqiri already situated on Merseyside
The 27-year-old, who has been capped 30 times by Italy, has a contract at Napoli until the summer of 2022
Pacy Insigne has netted eight times and assisted five times this season in 19 league appearances
