Hi, I'm Jamie Pfleger, the general manager at Kloeckner Cincinnati.
Just going to take a few minutes and talk about the features and benefits of our AF
as compared to the rest of the AF in the industry.
As most of you know, AF stands for anti-fingerprint.
What makes the Kloeckner AF so unique is it is a nano AF as compared to a liquid or a
resin.
When I say nano, what it means is we apply the AF through the same process that we color
the sheets with, the PVD process.
It adheres directly to the surface.
One of the benefits of that is that it's translucent so there is no haze on the surface that you
see, and it wears extremely well.
You won't have the wear patterns that you would if you have a spray or a resin AF on
your refrigerator, for example.
I'm just going to show you a few of the benefits that come with this product and tell you why
I love it so much.
One test that we do after we apply the AF, the res on here, is we do a water test.
The product I have here in hand is Vegas Gold and it has the AF applied to it.
When it goes on you can see how it beads like a water.
A lot of people talk about the mercury bubbles.
This piece here has not had AF on it.
You can see how it just runs and spreads.
So when you have this, especially in an atmosphere like an exterior panel on a building, it almost
acts like a rain guard on there.
Or if it's in a kitchen area where you can clean it, have a lot of water, it cleans very
easily off of there.
Another example we're going to use here is we're going to show you how the AF is Sharpie-resistant.
People, when they put these inside of elevators, escalators, areas that are in the public where
people tend to do graffiti on there, they will use a Sharpie.
You can see the even though you push down on it, it is extremely difficult to mark.
It's easily removable just with a dry cloth as compared to when you take a product that
does not have the AF on the surface.
See the difference there?
That's just with a dry cloth.
If you use some type of a stainless cleaner or Windex, a vinegar and water mix, it will
completely come off.
But you will be left with the stain from the Sharpie on the product that does not have
AF applied.
The other test that we're starting to do here is we're looking at spray paint.
Again, for outdoor locations or areas that are in the public.
This was painted and let dried on here earlier this morning.
We'll go ahead and show how this has been AF'd.
It will bubble up and just not adhere.
Once it dries, you're able to peel it off or use a little plastic, and it will just
completely remove the AF, again reducing the damage that could be caused from people using
any graffiti on outdoor or public areas and applications.
You can see it does not adhere to the metal.
We'll just try it here on the one that has no AF.
You can see the difference, how there is no bubbling.
Now that you've seen a few of the features and benefits of this nano AF product, I hope
that you come to love this product as much as I do.
