ANNIE, BEN & MANGO

You never know where they''re gonna go!

Keep it steady Captain Mango.

We're travelling under the ice of Antarctica

How cool is that?

Get it!? Ice! Cool!

Oh Ben! Bad joke!

There, Captain Mango! The ice is thin enough!

Wow

See how the sunlight shines through from above?

We finally made it

-- ANTARCTICA.

It's Summer in the SOUTH POLE!!!

Summer! But it's December!

It the Northern part of Earth it's Winter,

but south of the Equator it's Summer.

What's an equator, Annie?

The equator is the imaginary line that separates the northern part of the Earth from the Southern part.

During the months of June, July and August,

in the North, the Earth is tilted towards the sun and it's warm there.

During the months of December, January and February,

The Southern part of the Earth is tilted towards the sun, and it's warmer down here

THIS is warm!?

It is for Antarctica.

Right now It's minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

that's minus 29 celsius.

No, no, no that's not for you

Male penguins like to give lady penguins gifts.

He wanted to give my phone to his girlfriend

Mango wants to know if there are a lot of frozen Vikings in Antarctica

Uh, no. Just that one.

We need hot water. Lots of it!

Here's some hot soup. It'll warm you up faster.

Oh, that is good. Thank you. My name is Lars.

I'm Annie and this is Ben and that's Mango.

Do you have any idea how long you were frozen?

Hmm. My ship got stuck in this ice in 915

Wow!

That's over a thousand years ago!

I must find my ship!

No Viking is a Viking without his ship!!!

A ship!? All I see is ice!

Ohmygosh, the rest of it is still frozen in the ice.

That's going to take a LOT of hot soup!

This is great. We should have it out before it gets dark

Don't worry about that, Ben --

-- this is Summer in Antarctica,

there isn't any dark, the sun shines all 24 hours of the day.

What magic is this that melts the ice so quickly?

It's a hair-dryer.

A lot has happened since you froze.

Aaaaahhhh.... I like this modern world.

Like a warm trade wind in the South Pacific.

What's Mango talking about!?

He made a opening for Lars' ship!

I can return to the sea and explore!

I, Lars, son of Redbeard and Ingaborg, .

Oh, yeah, I'm the son of Goldie and Fluffy!

Vikings were really big about telling everyone about their families.

They call it a Norse catalog.

Who went forth to join with Hrothgar the Horrible..

.... who found the kitten...

... Stanislaus the Cute.

You can make up. I'm done.

Oh! We're sorry we fell asleep Lars

Don't worry about it. It happens every time

I'm just going to get my sun stone, and I'm off exploring again. I

MY SUNSTONE!!!

IT'S GONE!!!

What's a sunstone?

It is how vikings know where we're going --

by using the light of the sun!

Here, use my compass

We're at the South Pole!

We're at the bottom, most southern part of the Earth,

so EVERYTHING from here is north!

Oh, my, I hadn't thought of that.

No! That's not for you!

I know where your sunstone is!

I'll bet a penguin took it!!!

I'm sure one of these guys took your sunstone as a gift for his girlfriend.

But there are thousands. How will we find the one who has my sunstone?

Yeah, I've never seen a monkey wrestle a penguin, this should be cool

No penguin wrestling!

You speak bird, just ask someone if they've seen it.

Larry the penguin says we should check with Sam over that way.

Quickly -- the sea calls to me.

I can't hear anything but penguins.

It's here! I found it! In the mouth of a penguin!

by Odin's Beard

This is a freakishly strong penguin

Maybe he's willing to trade.

I'll give you this for that

Okay?

There you go

Once again, I am a true viking explorer

My sunstone points the way!

I cannot thank you enough,

but take this -- so that you always remember LARS

son of Redbeard and Ingaborg, grandson of Olaf the Red,

There he goes with the Norse catalog again.

Hey, Annie. If that's a catalog,

can we find a DOG-A-LOG!?

Get it? Dogalog?

Catalog one is for cats, so I want one for dogs

Get it?

Oh Ben, bad joke!

Mayor of Tijuana said funding for Central American migrants will run out - Duration: 5:10.

Mayor of Tijuana said funding for Central American migrants will run out

The Mayor of Tijuana said he expects funding to support thousands of Central American migrants who have arrived there in recent weeks to run out by Sunday.

Juan Manuel Gastelum revealed Tuesday the city only has enough resources to assist the crowds for a few more days as hundreds more migrants arrive on a daily basis.

Gastelum vowed not to divert tax dollars away from city services while asking Mexico's federal government to send more money and support.

We will decide what to do when we get there, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported him as saying.

We won't compromise the resources of the residents of Tijuana. We won't raise taxes tomorrow to pay for today's problem.

Tijuana's Treasurer, Ricardo Chavarria, said the city spends about 600,000 pesos a day supporting the migrant caravan or roughly $30,000.

The outgoing administration of Enrique Peña Nieto leaves office Friday while incoming President Andrés Manual López Obrador starts Saturday.

City resources are strained as local government reaches the end of the fiscal year and their top priority is not to cut municipal services, Chavarria said.

Baja California officials said Tuesday that there were about 8,000 members of the Central American caravan in the state, roughly 6,800 in Tijuana and 1,200 in Mexicali.

The majority of the caravan members in Tijuana sleep in an outdoor sports complex in the city's Zona Norte neighborhood.

As more migrants arrive daily, space inside the makeshift shelter gets more crowded each day. There are more than 5,800 in the shelter as of Monday night.

Chavarria told the San Diego Union-Tribune that Tijuana is in budget trouble because its almost the end of the fiscal year and it does not want to cut back on municipal services.

This is costing us... to keep these people here and all those funds have to come from someplace and its municipal funds, Delegate Genaro Moreno, who represents the region, told Fox News.

Gastelum said the city is so starved for cash that it can't afford extra tarps for the migrants ahead of the looming rainy Thursday forecast, the newspaper added.

Meanwhile, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra is assessing whether the state can take legal action over the Trump administrations use of force against a caravan of migrants or a decision and future threats to shut the border with Mexico, he said in an interview with Reuters on Wednesday.

We have been approached by folks who have expressed complaints,  Becerra said. We are monitoring whats occurring.

Should California opt to take legal action, they would join a growing public protest over the implementation of President Donald Trumps hardline immigration policies.

These include the use of tear gas against the Central American migrants at the border and the decision to separate migrant children from their parents.

California has limited jurisdiction to insert itself despite the clashes taking place on the states border because the federal government has sweeping control over border and immigration administration.

But Becerra suggested that if a state resident was being affected, including by shutting of the border, the state could have cause to intervene.

I cant act unless the rules are on our side, Becerra, who is the son of Mexican immigrants, said.

Becerra, a Democrat and former member of Congress who helped negotiate comprehensive immigrants reform that was never passed, used his role at state attorney general to intervene on behalf of child immigrants when Trump sought to revoke their legal status.

The border crisis has unfolded in the past week as thousands of migrants who have made their way north through Mexico from violent and impoverished Central American countries attempted to enter the United States to seek asylum.

On Sunday, US authorities fired tear gas canisters toward migrants in Mexico - near the border crossing separating Tijuana from San Diego, California - when some rushed through border fencing into the United States.

During the melee on Sunday, US authorities shut San Ysidro, the countrys busiest border crossing, for several hours.

Trump has since threatened to permanently lose the US-Mexican border if Mexico does not deport some 7,000 Central Americans gathered there.

Raging Car Race | Funny Cartoons for Children | The Adventures of Annie and Ben! - Duration: 7:41.

ANNIE, BEN and MANGO

You never know where they're gonna go

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MANGO!!!

Welcome to the Bonneville Salt Flats!!!

What other monkey but Mango would want to visit the Bonneville Salt Flats for his birthday?

Well, Mango loves cars,

and these are the fastest cars on Earth.

Mango feels sorry for his Mangomobile

-- it can't go as fast as these cars.

Well, the Bonneville Salt Flats is for one thing only:

to see how fast a car can go.

In October of 1997

the Thrust Supersonic Car

was the first car to go faster than sound.

That's over 760 miles per hour

or 1,225 kilometers per hour.

It went so fast it created a sonic boom.

Mango wants to know, what's a sonic boom?

Sound can only go 760 miles per hour.

When a plane or car goes faster than that,

it * "breaks" through sound like sound is a solid wall --

-- and breaking the sound wall makes a loud BOOM!!!

Mango wants to break the sound barrier!

I can see that.

But I don't think the Mangomobile can go that fast.

Hey it's...

ALLAN THE ALIEN!!!

Wow!

Allan came all the way from outer space to give you a birthday present.

Allan's such a good friend.

Yeah, he's ... OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Get it!?

Allan's an alien -- so he's out of this world!

bad joke, Ben.

Oooh, what did Allan give you, Mango!?

I want to see!

A rocket engine!?

What are you going to do with a rocket engine, Mango?

Please welcome Mango and the Mangomobile.

Mango wants to become

THE WORLD'S FASTEST MONKEY!

Mango, I really don't think taping the rocket engine on the Mangomobile is a very good idea.

I think Annie's right.

BLAST OFF!!!

Uh-oh, that can not be good.

Here it comes!!!

DUCK!!!

Wow! Mango really wants to make this work.

Yeah, but that's nothing compared to the work it took to build this place.

How long did it take?

And how many salt shakers did they have to empty?

Oh, Ben, this wasn't made by people,

it was made by nature!

This was once a huge salt lake.

Six times saltier than the ocean.

Then the water dried up and left a perfectly flat layer of salt.

In 1912 they discovered this was a great place to see how fast cars can go!

Once again, hoping to become the world's fastest monkey...

MANGO!!!

GO MANGO!!!

Annie, why are Mango's wheels getting bigger?

Because when you go fast, tires get hot,

and when they get hot the air inside makes them blow up like --

Balloons!

Mango's out of control!!!

He's heading for outer space!

DANGER DANGER!

SAVE THE MONKEY

Oh, thank goodness Allan put a parachute in the rocket.

He sure knows Mango.

Solid rubber tires. No air inside.

What could go wrong this time?

It's Mango -- don't ask.

Okay, Mango, this is it!

You can do this. You WILL be...

THE WORLD'S FASTEST MONKEY!

The last run of the day is ...

MANGO!

Good luck little monkey.

GO! MANGO! GO!!!

Wow! LOOK AT HIM GO!!!

And his car isn't doing anything weird!

HE BROKE THE SOUND BARRIER!

HE'S THE WORLD'S FASTEST MONKEY!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO MANGO,

THE WORLD'S FASTEST MONKEY!!!

Wow! That trophy is a great souvenir!

And here's the perfect ending to a perfect day --

BIRTHDAY CAKE!

And I've got one more gift for you!

Why are you giving Mango glue, Ben?

Well, he BROKE the sound barrier.

I thought he might want to GLUE it back together

GET IT!? BROKE!? GLUE!?

Bad joke Ben!

Rodeo Fiesta | Funny Cartoons for Children | The Adventures of Annie and Ben! - Duration: 7:40.

ANNIE, BEN & MANGO

You never know where they're gonna go!

WOW! There's nothing but horses pulling the floats!

This is the parade for LA FIESTA DE LOS VAQUEROS --

it's the world's longest horse-drawn parade.

Uh, fiesta what?

It's Spanish. It means:

the celebration of the cowboys.

Tucson, Arizona is in the United States --

-- but it's only 65 miles from Mexico,

so a lot of people speak both English and Spanish.

Better pull your hat back so you can see, Cowboy Mango.

Howdy, pardners -- it's me!

STAVROS!!!

We haven't seen you since we got you out of Minos' maze on Crete.

I took Annie's advice and travelled the world.

And I found the greatest place for a minotaur is AT

THE RODEO!!!

I'm in the bull-riding event.

YOU'RE going to ride a bucking bull!

No, I AM the bucking bull!!!

I have tickets to the rodeo for you.

Now I must get back to the parade!

WE'RE GOING TO THE RODEO!!!

Hee-HAH! Howdy, folks. How ya doin'? Yippie-ki-yai-yay!

C'mon, Mango, Annie's got our seats and peanuts and popcorn, too!

Ride 'em, Mango!!!

I hope Ben and Mango get here before the barrel racing starts.

How DID they ever come up with these contests, anyway?

It came from the cowboys working on ranches.

They had to tame the horses so they could ride them.

That became the bucking bronco event.

Bull roping came from the cowboys having to keep their herds together.

How did they come up with bull riding?

Well, that time I think they just got a little crazy.

Although the bulls think it's fun.

I know, I've talked to them.

Cowboys and cowgirls, it's time for the barrel race! Yeee-Hah!

Oh no!

We're going to miss the barrel race. I want to see the horses run!

Yeah, this must be the way out!

We've tried everything else.

Next up on the barrel race is...

... a dog and a monkey?

It's Ben!

and Mango!

Wrong gate! What are we going to do?

Oh, yeah!? Great!

Hang on, Cowboy Mango!

THEY'RE GOING TO BARREL RACE!

GO, BEN! GO, MANGO!

Hold on! Here comes turn number 1!

Oh, boy! I love to run!!!

They're heading for the finish.

Wow! That was great! How'd we do?

Water! Thanks, Mango!

Cowboys and cowgirls, we have a new record.

In fact, it's our ONLY record for FASTEST DOG AND MONKEY!

Okay -- this is weird. BUT I LIKE IT!!!

Why are there clowns at a rodeo?

That's a good question.

The clowns have a very important job --

when a cowboy is bucked off a bull --

-- the clowns distract the bull until the cowboy is safe.

Well, it looks like our barrel racing monkey wants to be a rodeo clown!

THAT'S MANGO!

RUNNING FROM A BULL!

JUMP IN THE BARREL!

It's there for the clowns' safety.

Mango's falling!

I have him.

You scared us Mango!

Yeah, you've got to quit ...

CLOWNING AROUND! Get it!? Clown. Clowning around?

This is Whirlwind.

That guy's Tornado.

And that's Bob -- he's a national champion.

Nobody has been able to ride Bob --

and they only need to stay on for 8 seconds.

Wow! They're so BIG!

They weigh 2,000 pounds, that's 907 kilograms.

Wow! That's a lot of bull!

I think our seats are this way.

I want to get back to see the bull riding.

Our next bull-rider is...

... a little girl getting a piggyback ride from a minotaur?

A little girl and a minotaur?

What are we going to do?

It's showtime, Annie!

Remember how I threw you to the top of the wall in the maze?

Yeah!

WHEEEEEEEEEE!!!

This is great!

I can see the Mexican border from here!

Well, that's not an official event, but it sure was spectacular!

Let's hear it for them, folks!

That's our Annie.

The rodeo asked me to be their official spokes minotaur

I'm going to travel everywhere with them.

Things are always so exciting when we're with you, Stavros.

Here, I want you to have this.

Hey! It's a bolo tie, like all the cowboys wear.

I love it, and I'll always remember this whenever I look at it.

And that's no BULL!

GET IT!? It's a saying! That's no bull! Bull riding!? Get it!?

Oh, bad joke, Ben. Really bad. Oooooh. That's the worst joke I've heard in 6000 years

Videoflash°40- What the next EU budget can do for you - Duration: 4:02.

Hey!

As you see winter also arrived in Brussels, but the heated debate we are having now here

in Brussels, forces me to take off this scarf.

Indeed, a heated debate on the next budget for the European Union.

As you know every 7 years the European Union has a budget for that period, to cover that

period of 7 years.

Now we started the debate on the budget for 2020-2027, and that is very important for us,

because thanks to European Union funding, thanks to European Union programmes you in

the field can develop your activities, develop your services and if it is not about developing

your services, European money might help you to innovate, to improve, to change approaches,

to do things better.

So this debate is very, very, important for us as a sector.

The EASPD team will inform you about every little detail so make sure that you are involved,

COMMIT! in this debate, it is important for all of us, bye!

The new Erasmus Funding Programme aims to reach out to all learners and provide increased

support to all education and training sectors as well as the youth and sport sectors.

Support and social care services, who help young people and learners to be able to fully

participate in opportunities in education, vocational learning or sport, could benefit

from the Erasmus funding programme.

The Programme can also enable staff in support services to access additional training opportunities

and exchange good practices.

The European Social Fund is an essential programme to promote the development and the reform

of the social care sector.

It is used for example to promote deinstitutionalisation but also the training of staff in the different

support services.

EASPD is following closely the negotiations on this programme and we have 3 objectives.

First of all we want to secure enough budget allocated to this programme, secondly we want

to make sure that all relevant partners will be involved in the development of the programmes

and thirdly we also want to make sure that budget will be allocated to quality support

schemes for the sector.

Invest EU is a new proposal by the European Commission to help organisations such as yourselves

get access to cheaper loans.

It could be used for instance to develop new community based infrastructure, it could also

help you develop your energy efficiency plans or develop digital platforms.

A particularly interesting part of Invest EU will be the capacity building budget which

will be dedicated to helping you and local service providers develop your business plans

and develop your expertise and therefore be able to get access to cheaper loans.

Recruiting young people, showing them the good work we do in the field, keeping them

interested in our work and involved in the career over the long term, those are key messages

that we often hear that all organisations across Europe face.

In this field, the Solidarity Corps offers a very good opportunity.

You can have volunteers, you can have trainees or interns or you can even have short-term

staff mobility within that programme, and that will allow young people to discover your

team and maybe find connections and learn on the job training and start a career.

If you are interested and you think that can be useful for your organisation, contact your

national agency now.

Get accredited and start the process to develop projects.

Stamps for craftsmen - Duration: 4:23.

In Western craftsmen, together with the goods sold, it is accepted to put a thank-you card in the package. It helps to build a trusting relationship with the customer and encourage him to make new purchases. It is good when the craftsman has his own printer on which he can print similar postcards. And if not? If he is engaged in knitting (sewing, felting or metalworking), then buying a printer specifically for printing thank-you cards is too unreasonable waste of money. Writing by hand - undignified. And not all legible handwriting. There is an option - a stamp. It prints like a printer, only much simpler, cheaper and takes up little space. . These are the stamps that one needlewoman on Etsy started to offer (her shop is etsy.com/shop/stampcouture). Since there are no less craftsmen on Etsy than buyers, I didn't have to advertise my goods far. They immediately saw, bought, told other needlewomen - and the business immediately became successful. In general, this is the business of two sisters. One of them comes up with a design, makes stamps; the other is taking pictures and sending to buyers. The stamps are made at home by one of the sisters with the help of a laser engraver Zing Laser (the price bites it, of course - with our money it costs from 800 thousand to a million rubles, but there is a cheaper technology for the manufacture of stamps - it is described by me in the article Wedding stamps - equipment costs a maximum of 55 thousand rubles in it). A design is created on the computer, rubber bands are cut out on the engraver. These rezinochki stick to wooden blanks. And sold to buyers for the price of 12-20 dollars. For 7 years, the sisters have sold over 26 thousand stamps through Etsy (at least 200 thousand dollars). Do not rush to assert that this is a business only for Americans. I found a stamp manufacturer who lives in Malaysia. He makes them on different technologies, including flash technology (where expensive equipment is not required) and specializes in targeted dies. That is, it makes them not only for needleworkers, but also for ordinary users, who often write letters and can affix the return address with one touch on the rubber pad. Over 8 years of trading on Etsy, he has almost 40 thousand sales! (he trades through his etsy.com/shop/mycustomstamps store). They buy from him, perhaps because he sells them cheaper than everyone else - from 7.5 to 15 dollars. But in the money it turns out too well - at least 300 thousand dollars for 8 years (approximately 37 thousand dollars a year). I looked at our Russian Masters Fair (livemaster.ru) - our craftsmen also mastered this area. And sell similar stamps at a price of 350-550 rubles. Those of them who sell their stamps at a price cheaper than $ 7.5 (450 rubles), can now go to Etsy and grab a piece of cake.
