The final of the Great British Bake Off takes place tonight.

We will finally find out who will be crowned winner of the series – Rahul Mandal, Kim-Joy or Ruby Bhopal.

The three bakers have battled their way through cakes, breads, vegan week, pastry and more in a bid to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

After 10 weeks of copious amounts of dough, the big day is finally here.

What time is the Great British Bake Off 2018 final? The final of the Great British Bake Off will kick off tonight at 8pm on Channel 4.

An official theme hasn't been announced, but whatever the bakers will face there is no doubt it will be tough.

All we know so far is the signature involves doughnuts, and the technical challenge may sound easy, but it isn't.

For their ultimate challenge, Rahul, Kim-Joy and Ruby will have to tackle a multi-layered "landscape dessert" for their showstopper.

Who will win the Great British Bake Off? If bookies are anything to go by, Rahul could be the third male winner of the Bake Off since John Waite in 2012.

Bookies have now suspended bets on Rahul winning the Bake Off, according to www.bookmakers.tv.

Before bets were suspended the Rotherham baker's odds were slashed to just 1/2 from 5/2.

Rahul was an early favourite to win the baking competition, with Paul declaring him "a little genius".

Alex Kostin of www.bookmakers.tv said: "Bookies have pulled the plug on this year's Bake Off betting firmly in the belief Rahul will get his hands on the cake stand trophy.

"Ever since he ousted Manon a few weeks ago he's been in pole position and unless there's a big upset in store, it looks like Kim-Joy and Ruby will be battling for second place at best.".
