China is monitoring employees' brain waves and emotions - Duration: 3:54.

China is monitoring employees' brain waves and emotions and the technology boosted

one company's profits by $315 million

BY Tara Francis Chan

Chinese businesses and the military are monitoring employees' brain activity and emotions.

The "emotional surveillance technology" helps employers identify mood shifts so they can

change break times, an employee's task, or even send them home.

The technology reportedly increases productivity and profitability, with one company claiming

its profits jumped by $315 million.

Emotional surveillance adds to a wide surveillance network of facial recognition and internet

censorship across China.

Employees' brain waves are reportedly being monitored in factories, state-owned enterprises,

and the military across China.

The technology works by placing wireless sensors in employees' caps or hats which, combined

with artificial intelligence algorithms, spot incidents of workplace rage, anxiety, or sadness.

Employers use this "emotional surveillance technology" by then tweaking workflows, including

employee placement and breaks, to increase productivity and profits.

At State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power in the southeast city of Hangzhou, company profits

jumped by $315 million since the technology was introduced in 2014, an official told the

South China Morning Post.

Cheng Jingzhou, the official who oversees the company's program, said "there is no doubt

about its effect," and brain data helps the 40,000-strong firm work to higher standards.

According to the SCMP, more than a dozen businesses and China's military have used a different

programme developed by the government-funded brain surveillance project Neuro Cap, based

out of Ningbo University.

"They thought we could read their mind.

This caused some discomfort and resistance in the beginning," Jin Jia, a professor of

brain science at Ningbo University told the Post.

"After a while they got used to the device...

They wore it all day at work."

Jin also said that employees' brainwaves can be enough for managers to send them home.

"When the system issues a warning, the manager asks the worker to take a day off or move

to a less critical post.

Some jobs require high concentration.

There is no room for a mistake."

Another type of sensor, built by technology company Deayea, is reportedly used in the

caps of train drivers on the high-speed rail line between Beijing and Shanghai.

The sensor can even trigger an alarm if a driver falls asleep.

Widespread use of emotion monitoring may mark a new stage in China's surveillance state,

which has largely been focused on facial recognition and increasing internet censorship.

It's unknown if all employees subjected to the technology are aware they are being monitored,

but even if they were China's privacy laws would be unlikely to help.

The notoriously lax privacy laws, and the country's large sample population, have helped

China leap ahead with its artificial intelligence research.

Uriyadi scenes | Vijay's girlfriend is harassed by suruli | Karthi brutally hits Suruli | Uriyadi - Duration: 10:25.

(Liquor consumption is injurious to health)

'Dear people, as a tribute to our leader late Mr Adhavan'

'...Mr Ulagappan will unveil his statue'

'We request the people of our town to grace this occasion'

Shall we leave then?

Hey Kumar Let's go

Check it

How dare you touch the statue?

Stay calm

We can discuss it

What's all this, sir?

What are you doing?

Collector has ordered us to seal the statue

Yov! How can you-

What is the problem? Why should you seal it?

When you came to enquire about rules to erect a statue...

...what did I tell you?

Statue shouldn't be erected in the road or any public area

Next

Statue shouldn't be made of any damageable material

This is not road or any public property

I own this land, if you want check my documents

Yes, then why do we need permission?

But it is made of cement And can be damaged easily

How can it get damaged?

What if anyone else does it?

What are you saying?

Do you know who you are talking to?

We can talk it over What are you trying to say?

With the riots that took place 8 years ago in mind...

...our Collector has instructed us

We are just the mediator

You know the statue near the college

Inaugurated by the MLA of his party leader

It is also made out of cement

But that was inaugurated before the riots

Don't give some silly excuses

It is evident you are here because the MLA sent you

Even if the statue had been made in gold...

...under some silly pretext you would have sealed it

According to the order issued it is our duty to seal the statue

I would appreciate it if no one hindered this procedure

He is a freedom fighter

And we are not allowed to erect his statue

We even got permission from our Panchayat

And I own the land

I am sure someone is against our caste

Whatever your mindset...

...I feel starting a party for our caste is the only solution

Mr Adhavan did not want caste to be dragged into politics till the very end

But we don't even have permission to honor him

Even so, how can we garner a huge support?

Our aim for our caste is to start a party in a small way

In Tamil Nadu there are 100s of small parties

Our only aim should be...

...to be unshakeable in our constituency

With this clout as bait, catch a bigger fish from bigger parties

If we prove no party volunteer can become a politician...

...without votes from our caste they will take notice of our power

When it comes to MLA elections in our constituency...

...there are nearly 1, 20,000 votes

Votes from our caste constitute a mere 15,000

Don't underestimate our votes

Listen to my analysis

So far only 70% of the people have voted in our elections

70% of 1,20,000 is 84,000

That's the total count

In 84,000, what is our %?

Can we win with 17% alone?

Why not?

If we join as coalition to a bigger party-

How will they accept us?

He gave us all the figures

The competition in our area is only between 2 parties

In the past 4 elections...

...with a difference of only 8,000 to 10,000 votes

...they have been winning alternatively

Our 15,000 votes will decide the winning party

But cannot win if we stand alone

That is not the question now

If we are excluded no one can win

To sum up what you've said...

...only if 100% of our people from our caste vote

...your analysis will work Otherwise it's wishful thinking

Till we inaugurate our leader's statue let us go in a procession to the 22 towns

...inhabited by the people belonging to our caste

Visit 1 town a day Also fast unto death

They have to agree to our plan looking at our manpower

They will not allow us to fast for 22 days

Why not?

They will brand it as inciting caste based riots

Let them say what they want

We don't need any permission if we do it in a peaceful manner

If you don't have police permission you'll be behind bars

If not they will disperse the crowd with 'lathi' charges

How will they arrest us?

They can't touch us!

'Government! Do not refute permission for unveiling martyr Mr Adhavan's statue'

Well students!

We can continue heat treatment of steel

Karthikeyan, take the specimen

This is 1.5% carbon steel

Keep it in the furnace and set the temperature

I presume you know its austenitic temperature?

1000 degree celsius

Go and place it

Your final semester project is heat treatment, right?

And you don't know the temperature

My legs are paining

Get the specimen and quench it

Where are you off to?

Intend taking apples out of the fridge

Go and wear gloves

He has won with people from our caste voting for him

He is refusing to let us erect our leader's statue

Won't our leader somehow get permission?

He can, but he will fast and die to get it!

To erect one leader's statue...

...another leader has sacrifice his life!

This is our plight

But this has to change in your time

When we begin fasting...

...the police and opponent will try to prevent us for sure

If anyone beats you, retaliate

If anyone kicks you, break his leg

We must overcome all obstacles and move on pursuing our goal

In the same way we must get students who get aid from us...

...in all the towns to join our union

Done, bro

Our leader is against us setting up a party

You don't seem the least bit bothered

Why worry when we have a good chance?

I don't understand

When our leader is bust fasting in every town...

...we will meet people belonging to our caste and show them the 'carrot'

...of how to become a counselor and get their support, right?

After the police beat them to a pulp...

...they will give up saying 'no' to forming a party

'Our leader fell down and he has been hospitalized'

What are you saying?

He fell down on his neck rather abnormally

His spinal cord is fractured

Immediately he needs to be operated to re-align the bone

Otherwise he won't even be able to sit

Sir, don't worry You will recover fast

You can fast unto death instead of our leader

Will I be able to pull the kind of crowd my uncle can?

If he has got this kind of following...

...it is only because of his association with Adhavan sir

Election is round the corner within 3 months

Starting a party and contesting independently

And get 15,000 votes is a herculean task

What do we do?

Wait, I'll come

Hey Baskar

- Yes, bro - Come here

My sister's marriage invitation

Why this formality when we are from the same home town?

It's okay

Then whom will I invite?

Okay, care for a cup of tea?

No, but give me your bike key

Must go with Karthi to the 'dhaba'

It's getting late

Yov...!

(song from Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen)

'Finally got a project'

Hey! Move aside

- Sit here - No, it's okay

Chee! Scumbag!

Scoundrel

Watch your words

Respect is the last thing you'll get

- What happened? - I fell on her by mistake

And she is creating such a ruckus

Then you must take an auto

How dare you touch her!

Thrash him

I saw him He did it on purpose

Least excuse you make a pass

I've kept the key in your room

Okay

Hey! Quarter How long?

The boys have gone for the juniors' party

Look at him swaggering

(Smoking is injurious to health)

Did you see it directly?

It could have happened unknowingly too, right?

Get lost!

Whatever

You gave it back, right?

That's enough

Don't go and announce this to our gang, they will blow it up

College closes in another 2 months and we can go home

Anyway they will get to know

Quite a few from our college were also in the bus

Remember, you don't know if he did it on purpose

The girl was upset So you beat him up

Okay

Don't blabber anything else

BREAKING JOHN BRENNAN ADMITS THE TRUTH – TRUMP IS OFF THE HOOK - Duration: 10:43.

BREAKING: JOHN BRENNAN ADMITS THE TRUTH – TRUMP IS OFF THE HOOK

CIA Director John Brennan had a hearing today.

The main topic was Russia's "election hacking."

We finally have some proof and Trump is off the hook.

Trey Gowdy was the main interrogator during this hearing.

As we all know Gowdy doesn't leave any questions stay unanswered.

When asked if Trump was connected to the hacking, here is what Brennan had to say:

A lot got revealed at this point.

Trump is in no way involved with Russia according to Brennan.

The WaPo claims are out of the question as well.

He never asked any intelligence agencies to hide his tracks.

Although Brennan had no recorded evidence of this, the investigation revealed a lot.

This is a great start on uncovering who and why wanted Trump to be a decoy.

But even more serious problems may reveal ahead.

Brennan uncovers Russia's newest plan.

According to him Russia tries to slowly make U.S. cut ties with other countries.

That way it can be divided when the time comes.

This rises a lot of speculations.

The main one is that Russia might be actually lying to the libs in order to get them to

fight against Trump.

Not that they won't fight without it, but it gives them a good push to take further

steps.

Is Russia plotting against the U.S.? Comment below and tell us what you think.

Share the news and let everyone know Trump was

never involved.

Trump Is Threatening 'New World Order' And Someone Very Powerful Is Furious - Duration: 15:19.

Trump Is Threatening 'New World Order' And Someone Very Powerful Is Furious

Liberal publication The Economist (a British liberal news magazine, owned by the Rothschild

clan) let the cat out of the bag…there is a 'New World Order' controlled by the

banking industry, and they are not happy about Trump.

It's not often the liberal elites talk about things like the 'New World Order' without

sneering that this is nothing more than conservative conspiracy theories, but a new article from

The Economist gave us a peak behind the scenes.

The Economist makes the strange assertion that, despite being directly responsible for

numerous wars and destabilizing coup attempts around the world, the 'New World Order'

is "better than any of the alternatives."

The arrogance and sense of entitlement of the global elites was fully on display in

this article.

The Economist stated:

The liberal order of the past 70 years is under threat.

It was underpinned by a movement to make the waging of aggressive war illegal, and for

very good reason.

The rules-based international order that emerged from the wreckage of the second world war

was a huge improvement on any preceding era.

It stimulated trade on an unprecedented scale and allowed even relatively small and weak

countries to develop their potential without fear of predatory interference.

Except when it does not.

Especially when international business interests are at stake.

And unfortunately, if those interests are not threatened then the 'New World Order'

turns a blind eye to genocides.

At the heart of that order was an underlying principle that perpetrators of aggressive

war should not be rewarded.

In particular, any territorial gains which derived from their aggression would not be

recognized by the international community as being legitimate.

Which unfortunately only seems to be applied to Israel.

Instead, aggressors should be subjected to punishment—usually economic sanctions.

Occasionally, concerted military action approved by the United Nations (UN) forced them to

relinquish what they had illegally seized.

Yet liberal internationalism is now under attack from many sides.

Donald Trump's America First doctrine explicitly repudiates it.

Even two of the so-called "adults in the room", who supposedly temper Mr Trump's

nativist excesses, seem happy to join him.

In a Wall Street Journal article in May H.R. McMaster and Gary Cohn, respectively the president's

national security adviser and economic adviser, wrote: "The world is not a 'global community'

but an arena where nations, non-governmental actors and businesses engage and compete for

advantage.

We bring to this forum unmatched military, political, economic, cultural and moral strength.

Rather than deny this elemental nature of international affairs, we embrace it."

Which makes it sounds like President Trump has no interest in helping the old money maintain

their wealth and power with US resources.

The 'New World Order' made their collective nervousness clear in a recent article in U.S.

News and World Report.

One gets the impression their idea of a "dangerous unknown" is when they don't get to call

the shots.

U.S. News and World Report:

"There are known knowns and known unknowns for the U.S. on the global stage – and some

things we don't know we don't know – as Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld famously

said in the run-up to the Iraq War 15 years ago.

Now another Donald – who got elected by pledging to rethink America's role in the

world and keep friends and foes guessing – is ushering in an era of unknown unknowns.

"Unpredictability" is the buzzword of Donald Trump's foreign policy lexicon and,

not surprisingly, there's a lot we don't know yet about what that means for America

and the world in 2018.

That's partly because of factors outside President-elect Trump's control.

He inherits a world roiled by problems his predecessors failed to solve – from North

Korea's nuclear ballistic missile ambitions to the deteriorating outlook for Israeli-Palestinian

peace; from a war in Syria that's claimed half a million lives to a mutating threat

from transnational Islamic terrorism.

Meanwhile, an echo across the Atlantic of the forces that carried Trump to power – populist

and nativist backlash against immigration and open borders, a common currency and disruptions

caused by global trade – is sweeping across our closest allies and threatens to splinter

the European Union, with Britain's startling vote to exit the EU an oracle of what might

be coming.

The unknown unknowns are fueled by Trump's promise to rip up the playbook of 70 years

of bipartisan consensus in Washington that the U.S. is the "indispensable nation,"

a superpower that, in this view, benevolently deploys economic, humanitarian and military

might to promote security and like-minded democracies.

This is what President Trump refers to as the "swamp."

Ever since Harry S. Truman invested in rebuilding Japan and Germany after World War II, a theory

has guided every U.S. president: that democracies and liberal economies don't go to war with

one another.

The U.S. saw a self-interest in protecting weaker allies and defending free trade, open

seas and rules to promote peace and prosperity.

So where do the rise of illiberal, anti-globalization forces and Trump's rewriting of the foreign

policy rulebook leave America?

"With the liberal world order under siege," replies Yascha Mounk, a fellow at the New

America Foundation and the German Marshall Fund in Washington.

As many liberals say when their side wins: "Elections have consequences."

Even though many people have never heard of the 'New World Order', they know they

do not like American resources being used to preserve the fortunes

of others.
