Waching daily May 3 2018

Do you find that you're constantly overthinking things and trying to control everything in

your life?

Hi, I'm Christina Marlett, the creator of Courageous Self-Care and today I'm going to

show you how to release that control and learn how life is working for you.

For the best advice on how to practice strategic self-care that goes beyond bubble baths, chocolate,

and wine, be sure to subscribe to the channel and hit the bell to be notified when a new

video is released each Thursday.

If you know that you have a tendency on overthinking things and trying to control different parts

of your life, by the end of this video, you'll learn how to not stress so much about what

other people are thinking about you and how you can trust in yourself.

I've used this process with so many of my private clients and with my group coaching

clients, with tremendous success.

Now it's your turn.

Be sure to stick around until the end of the video.

I've created a really amazing resource for you that's going to show you how to stop feeling

so drained.

Okay step number one is to notice what you are controlling.

I used to be someone who thought all the time about everything and tried to control every

part of my life.

I had a t-shirt that said, "Think," and it had a big brain neuron on it, and I remember

my dad saying to me once, "You're always thinking aren't you?"

And I thought, "Yes, I am," and I was so proud of myself.

Then when I started doing personal development, I learned that thinking is not so good for

you if you're overthinking and ruminating, and playing negative situations over and over,

which I had a tendency to do.

Then I got a t-shirt that said, "Don't think.

Don't think.

Don't think.

Don't think.

Don't think."

Then I got rid of those t-shirts, and decided to trust myself.

I also tried to control everything.

I tried to control my emotions.

I only wanted to share the sunny happy ones.

I tried to control what other people were thinking about me.

I tried to control situations and I spent so much energy trying to have all this control,

when really, truthfully, we don't have all that much control, especially about what other

people think of us.

When I dug a little bit deeper, I realized that I had a fear of people thinking that

I wasn't professional or that I didn't know what I was doing.

This was as a brand new teacher, over a decade ago.

I wanted people to see me as their equal, and so I had this pristine image that I wanted

to maintain.

I didn't end up being very vulnerable.

I wasn't authentic.

I hid a lot.

That goes a lot with controlling.

Step number one is you want to figure out what it is that you're controlling.

Step number two, controlling and overthinking embodiment exercise.

Now since I am an embodiment coach, I like to get my clients to experience things, not

just with their minds, but also with their bodies and their emotions and their spirit.

That is the art of embodiment, and so I'm going to invite you to participate in this

embodiment exercise as well.

It's mindful movement, and there are two different things you need to think about while you do

it.

I certainly encourage you to participate.

Number one is to notice how your body is showing up in this exercise, and number two is to

notice what thoughts are coming up for you.

Not to try to stop them, but just to notice, because they're going to give you some great

information.

Now this is probably going to expand your comfort zone, so I invite you to play along.

Don't overthink it, just do it and enjoy.

Please stand up.

Okay here we are standing up.

Not overthinking, letting go of the judgment and the control.

Put your feet just under your hips, under your shoulders, and you're going to start

to move your hips side to side.

Now go a little faster, and a little bit faster.

As fast as you can go.

Okay and now being curious about all the different ways you can move your pelvis, shake it around.

Okay and stop.

Take a deep breath.

In through your nose and out through your mouth, and have a seat.

Now my first question is, did you actually get up and do the exercise or did you just

watch me do it?

That's saying something about how you're living your life.

The way you do anything is the way you do everything, so if you jumped in and participated,

super secret bonus points for you.

Way to go.

If you didn't do it, just ask yourself why.

Become curious about that.

Now if you did do it, your body likely gave you some interesting information.

It might of been difficult to get yourself to move.

You might of noticed all sorts of different things, but also noticing your thoughts.

When we are expanding our comfort zones, often our thoughts are the ones that show up that

limit us on a regular basis.

I invite you to share what you noticed in this embodiment exercise in the comments below,

and don't be shy.

One of the first things to do when you were learning to release control is to be vulnerable,

share what's going on for you, so please do that in the comments now.

Step number three, release control in one area.

We just played with releasing control in one physical area.

If you're anything like me and most of the people I work with, well probably 100% when

we start to move our pelvis, we realized that we can't take life seriously.

There's just something funny about wiggling our hips and our booties around.

That is an indication of the joy and freedom that lies behind releasing that control.

I invite you over the next week to choose one area where you can release control.

Maybe it's your emotions.

Maybe it's wearing something that actually represents who you are.

Maybe it's letting go of how the towels hang on the racks in your house.

Wherever you feel like you're being limited by controlling and overthinking, play with

that one area.

Become curious of how you can not stress so much, not over think it, and being lighter

and more playful.

Now you know three easy steps to help you let go of control.

I also mentioned that I had a free resource for you, so holding on to control and overthinking

things, as I mentioned before, is one way that a lot of people tend to drain their energy

leaving them exhausted.

There are nine other ways that I've identified that we can drain our energy without really

being aware of it, and so I created a free resource for you.

It's called The Top 10 Energy Drains Mini Course.

First of all, you'll find out what those top 10 energy drains are that are secretly draining

away energy without being aware of it, and then I give you solutions, very strategic

solutions so that you can flog up those drains and start having more energy than you've ever

had before.

It really works incredibly well.

You can get access to this mini course using the link in the description below.

Also, I would love to invite you to join the Courageous Self-Care Facebook community.

It's a private group filled with like minded women who are on this journey to practice

self-care beyond bubble baths, chocolate, and wine without the guilt and with courage.

Please do join us there.

I would love to see you.

If you like this video, please give it a like, leave a comment, and share it with your friends.

Be sure to tune in next week when I will be sharing the biggest mistake people tend to

make when they're trying to live their life on purpose.

Thank you so much for watching today.

I'm Christina Marlett, creator of Courageous Self-Care, and your self-care coach.

I look forward to connecting with you again next time.

Bye bye for now.

Oh hang on a second.

Did you see last week's video?

It was this really amazing forgiveness practice I use, called Ho'oponopono.

It's a Hawaiian healing practice.

If you missed it, you can watch it by clicking the link on the screen now.

Okay, I'm really going now.

Bye bye.

What is Email Marketing? - Duration: 7:42.

As an entrepreneur, marketing is so important – it's the driving force that will draw

potential customers into your store.

But, what about email marketing?

With so many marketing options, is email still a valuable marketing channel for ecommerce

entrepreneurs?

Hey guys!

I'm Jessica with Oberlo, and today we'll be talking about email as a marketing channel.

I'll give you 10 tips that'll help you to nail your email marketing campaigns, and

at the end of this video you'll be armed with the knowledge you need to generate traffic

with email.

Email Marketing – Is It Worth It?

If you're just getting started with marketing, you've probably got tons of questions.

Which marketing channel is best?

Is this going to be expensive?

Am I doing this right?

It's difficult to give you a solid answer on which marketing channel is best, but email

marketing is certainly up there.

According to the Direct Marketing Association, you get $40 for every $1 that you spend on

email marketing.

That's a fantastic return on investment, and something you rarely see with other platforms.

There are tons of ways you can use email to effectively market your brand.

So let's jump into our list of 10 tips that'll help you create fantastic, effective email

marketing campaigns.

1.

Choose The Right Tool

To kick off our list of actionable email marketing tips, we're going to discuss the importance

of choosing an email provider that suits your business.

There are plenty of tools you can use to create and send your email marketing campaigns, We

recommend choosing one that is simple to navigate, yet robust enough to enable some advanced

marketing tactics, like segmentation, further down the line..

If you're just getting started with email marketing, we recommend Mailchimp. It's the

industry standard for a reason: It's powerful, yet easy to use.

Mailchimp also has an app that you can integrate directly into your Shopify store.

You really don't need much experience with marketing to succeed with Mailchimp, so give

it a try and see if it suits you.

2.

Get a Professional Email Address

Next we're going to talk about professional email addresses.

Free domain email addresses, like the ones that end in at gmail, outlook, and yahoo dot

com, are designed for personal use.

They aren't suitable for your business!

If you want to appear professional when you're sending email marketing campaigns, make sure

you purchase an email address from your own domain.

For example, if I was running a business called 'dazzlingjewelry' my emails would be sent

from 'jessica@dazzlingjewelry.com' instead of 'dazzlingjewelry@gmail.com'.

This simple tip will really help you to build trust with your audience, and that's exactly

what you need to do when running an online business.

3.

Plan the Frequency of Your Campaigns

When it comes to sending email campaigns, make sure you've got a plan for how many

campaigns you're actually going to send.

Remember, there are a ton of things you can do with your campaigns.

You can send your audience promotional content about new products, alert them to flash sales,

or provide them with a discount code to your newest collection.

Whatever you plan to do, plan it out first.

Use project management tools like Trello or Asana and come up with a simple calendar that

dictates when you're going to send out emails, and what they're going to contain.

Trust us, this will really help you to stay focussed.

4.

Experiment With Subject Lines

Subject lines are super important.

They're the email equivalent to the headline of a newspaper.

Your subject line is essentially the title of your email, and it needs to entice your

customers to click.

Remember, there's a lot of competition in someone's inbox.

The average inbox includes receipts, order confirmations, and, of course, marketing material.

You need to make sure that your subject lines stand out from the crowd – you want everybody

to open your emails!

Take some time to A/B test with subject lines and find out what kind of language increases

open rates.

Our advice is to keep your subject lines short and concise – under 50 characters usually

works best – and focus your subject lines on the value you're providing to customers.

5.

Don't Be Afraid of Emojis

Emojis are a bit of a controversial topic in the world of email marketing, but you shouldn't

be afraid to use them.

Entrepreneurs and marketers alike have been using more emojis recently.

Typically, they're found in an email's subject line, but we've seen plenty of effective

marketing campaigns that use them in the body of the email too.

Really think about your audience when it comes to using emojis.

If you're targeting a millennial market, then emojis could be a great call, whereas

an older market might not respond so favourably.

As with everything in marketing, it's all about experimentation.

Test emojis in an email campaign and see if it has an impact on open or clickthrough rates.

6.

Include a Clear Call-to-Action

Next up, we've got the importance of a clear call-to-action in your email marketing campaigns.

You can spend hours slaving over the perfect email, but the harsh reality is that your

audience might not read through the entire thing.

Attention is scarce online, so make sure your audience will see a clear call-to-action whenever

they open one of your emails.

If you've already convinced your customers to open an email, your job is half-way done.

Get them to your online store with a call-to-action like: "Shop the collection now", and include

a link that takes them directly to that collection.

7.

Remember to Send Test Emails

Test emails are so important.

Honestly, you'd be surprised by the amount of emails we've seen over the years that

have silly typos or broken links.

Sure, those brands left a lasting impression, but it wasn't the one they were hoping for.

The amount of time it takes to send a test email and check through everything before

you send it is so worth it in the long run.

Most email providers will allow you to send a test email, so take advantage of that function

before you send any campaign.

8.

Check Your Emails on Mobile

More than half of all emails are opened on mobile devices, so it's essential that your

emails look great and function on mobile too.

Otherwise, you're only optimizing your emails for half of your audience.

This point follows on from the importance of sending test emails.

Once you've sent a test email, your first instinct will probably be to check it on your

desktop computer or laptop.

That's great, but check it on your mobile too.

Make sure that all the text is visible, that any buttons are easy to click, and that the

overall experience of the email is smooth.

If it's good on mobile, you're good to go!

9.

Remember to Use Abandoned Cart Emails

When you're running an online store, you'll probably notice that lots of customers add

an item to their cart, but fail to complete the transaction for whatever reason.

Don't take this personally.

It can happen for many reasons.

Maybe the customer was just browsing at work and their boss walked in.

Perhaps their child started crying and they had to dash away from the computer.

The important thing to focus on here is that they did show interest in your products.

If they entered their email address, you can send them an abandoned cart email to gently

remind them that they forgot about their product.

This is a super effective marketing tactic for ecommerce entrepreneurs, so give it a

try and let us know if you convert an abandoned cart into a paying customers!

10.

Measure Your Performance

Email can be a great marketing channel for a lot of businesses, but that doesn't mean

it's guaranteed to work for yours.

When you're running your own store, it's essential that manage your time effectively.

For that reason, make sure you measure the performance of your emails constantly, to

ensure you're getting a return on investment.

To determine that, you want to focus on your open rates, click through rates, and unsubscribe

rates.

The average open rate for ecommerce businesses falls somewhere between 10-15%, and the average

click through rate is between 1-2%.

Of course, if your mailing list is still super small, it'll be difficult to measure the

performance of your emails.

This is something you can do after you've got at least 100-200 people subscribed to

your list.

But once you're at that point, measuring campaigns will help you improve upon each

email you send.

For example, if 50% of your mailing list opens your emails, but your click through rate is

only 1%, you'll need to optimize the content of email, rather than your subject line.

In that case, try to switch up your calls-to-action and make sure that they're visible as soon

as someone opens the email.

This is just one example, but there's a lot more to learn from your analytics.

Remember, knowledge is power!

Alright, so that's it for our list of email marketing tips.

Was there anything we missed?

to our channel to get a heads up when something new hits YouTube.

Thanks so much for watching and we'll see you next week.

BREAKING NEWS FBI CAUGHT IN MAJOR COVER UP, EVERYTHING IS EXPOSED - Duration: 13:11.

BREAKING NEWS: FBI CAUGHT IN MAJOR COVER-UP, EVERYTHING IS EXPOSED

Judicial Watch was informed yesterday by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) that the

FBI has located 30 pages of documents related to the June 27, 2016, tarmac meeting between

former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton, and proposes

non-exempt material be produced no later than November 30, 2017.

As Christian News Alerts reports, Judicial Watch is a government watchdog group that

often uses lawsuits to reveal information to the public.

Their latest investigation is going to flip FBI officials on their heads.

The documents are being sent directly to Judicial Watch in response to a Freedom of Information

Act (FOIA) lawsuit that was filed when the Justice Department disregarded their request

on July 7, 2016.

A number of details are bound to be exposed when information surrounding this meeting

comes out.

Many have wondered about the nature of the meeting, and this instantly throws out the

narrative that Lynch and Clinton gave for the event.

According to the two of them, they met up to talk about golfing and grandkids.

One can't help but wonder how golfing and grandkids produced 30 pages of documentation

— unless that was just a cover story.

Once the information is released, all FD-302 forms under the FBI's investigation into

former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private email server will be, too.

Allegedly, the meeting between Lynch and Clinton involved details about these servers.

If anyone in the FBI, the office of the President, or the DNC have a communication log within

these 30 pages, that information is included in the request.

This information could help determine if Clinton and Lynch worked on establishing the "grandkids

and golf" alibi before it ever went public.

Finally, all records related to the meeting of Lynch and Clinton will be released to Judicial

Watch.

This information can further elaborate on motive and foresight.

Initially, the FBI told Judicial Watch that there were no documents or records relevant

to that tarmac meeting.

However, in a similar case, the Justice Department found emails where officials within the department

spoke with the FBI about the event.

As a result of those findings, a letter was sent to Judicial Watch from the FBI reading,

"Upon further review, we subsequently determined potentially responsive documents may exist.

As a result, your [FOIA] request has been reopened…"

Now, the true nature of this meeting is going to be exposed to the public.

There are some that have speculated that the meetings directly involved Hillary Clinton's

private email server.

Others have said that since this meeting happened right before the release of the Benghazi report,

that this may have something to do with that incident where four Americans lost their lives.

Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch has stated,

"The FBI is out of control.

It is stunning that the FBI 'found' these Clinton-Lynch tarmac records only after we

caught the agency hiding them in another lawsuit."

He continued, "Judicial Watch will continue to press for answers about the FBI's document

games in court.

In the meantime, the FBI should stop the stonewall and release these new records immediately."

(Source: www.christiannewsalerts.com)

The Obama administration extended numerous immunity agreements, including: Clinton's

former Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills; John Bentel, former director of the State Department's

Office of Information Resources Management; Heather Samuelson, Clinton's executive assistant;

Brian Pagliano, an IT employee at the State Department who serviced the Clinton non-government

server; and an employee at Platt River Networks, the company that maintained it.

It is not clear whether Hillary Clinton received some

type

of immunity.

IT'S ALL OVER CNN Hack Anderson Cooper Is Done - Duration: 14:29.

IT'S ALL OVER: CNN Hack Anderson Cooper Is Done

CNN host Anderson Cooper has found himself embroiled in a nasty scandal that could land

him in big trouble.

The leftwing media has inexplicably forgiven comedian Kathy Griffin all of a sudden one

year after she posted a disturbing photo of her decapitating Donald Trump.

That's why it has come as bad news to Cooper that Griffin is slamming him on her latest

tour of mainstream media television shows.

Cooper turned on her after she released the photo, and now Griffin wants revenge by taking

him down.

"That one just hurt, I don't even have a joke, when he turned on me, I didn't even

hear from him for two months," Griffin told television host Wendy Williams of Cooper.

"I thought, 'Well, I guess I'm off the list.'"

Page Six reported that Cooper had called the decapitation photo "disgusting and inappropriate."

Though he later clarified that he "wanted nothing but good things" for Griffin, she

felt the damage had already been done.

"Kathy totally misjudged this.

She truly believed that Anderson would stick up for her," a source told Page Six in June.

"She considered him a friend.

While she has nobody to blame but herself, she feels somehow betrayed."

Griffin now says she expects no apology from Cooper.

"He's not that kind of guy," Griffin told Williams.

"He and Jeff Zucker, who runs CNN, they're not cut from that cloth."

This woman is obviously a huge lunatic, but given the fact that Cooper makes his living

by working in the liberal media, it could not be worse news for him that his counterparts

have suddenly forgiven her.

With Griffin now bashing Cooper and equating him with Trump every chance she gets, it likely

won't be long until liberals decide to stop watching him.

What do you think about this?

What Is Multi-Sig? - Duration: 6:19.

Hey, there guys!

Welcome to another PIVX Class.

Today we're going to be talking about multi-sig addresses.

My first couple months in cryptocurrency

I heard the term a lot but didn't really know what it meant.

So why don't we talk about what they are and what they're for?

Exactly how they function is a technical subject

so we'll just be talking about them in common terms.

First off, multi-sig is a short form for multiple signatures.

It rolls off the tongue better and saves some time.

The purpose of a multi-sig address,

is to increase security on the cryptocurrency address.

In a typical single signature address,

you have one public address and one private key.

In a multiple signature address,

you have one public address but multiple private keys.

You don't necessarily need all the keys, but it is an option.

When you create a multi-signature address

you choose how many keys there are

and how many are needed to make a transaction with the address.

So you could choose to have three keys

but someone only needs two of them to make the transaction.

You could also make an address that requires all three to work,

but that is your choice.

To summarize, a multi-sig address

is an address that requires more than one private key to use.

Where is this useful, though?

With current technology,

you may find it difficult to keep your spending money in a multi-sig address

because there isn't always a convenient,

fast option to get the other keys for a transaction in a hurry.

You could do this, though.

Having transactions require multiple keys

means that someone can't steal your device to get your currency.

As I said, though,

it might make it hard to spend your currency if you go this route.

What you could do,

and this is much more practical,

you could have your savings kept in a multi-sig address.

Since you don't intend to use this every day

and time should not be a factor in withdrawing currency from your savings,

it is a very good candidate for multi-sig security.

That way if someone steals the device you keep your wallet on

they can't actually get at the money.

It's a pretty solid security option.

How does that work, though?

How are you going to get your money back in this situation?

Well, if you've set up the savings address with a two of three multi-sig,

you can have a spare key hidden somewhere safe.

Two of three means two keys are needed to make a transaction

but there are three keys total.

Under normal circumstances,

you would use your devices' key

plus a key that a trusted third party holds to spend the funds.

If your device is stolen and that key is gone,

you get your backup hidden key

and use it with a third party key to get your funds.

The third party can't spend your funds because they only have one key.

The thief can't spend your funds because they only have one key.

But you can spend them

because you have your backup key

and you should have access to the third party's key.

Oh, and if the third party tries to mess with you or just disappears,

then you would still be able to spend your funds

because you have the key on your device plus the backup key

unless you got your device stolen

at the exact same time the third party became unavailable.

That would be some very bad luck, though.

Now we know how they work,

but there's a lot of other use cases besides that one.

Married couples can create joint savings accounts

by creating a two of two multi-sig address.

This would need both of them

to agree on spending the money for it to be used.

Charitable organizations can also use multi-sig

to prevent any one employee from dipping into the organization's funds.

You could setup a four of seven multi-sig address

requiring an employee to have the cooperation of

three other key holders to spend any of the money.

At the same time, it means you don't need all of the keys.

It could pose kind of a problem

if you need to pay a supplier and one of the key holders was on vacation.

This four of seven system

poses a good compromise between security and accessibility.

You know, I forgot perhaps what is truly the simplest use for multi-sig.

Remember how I said that needing two keys on an address

that is meant for daily use

isn't really that practical with current technology?

Well, I stand by that,

but a one of two system can have some value here.

In a one of two system,

you only need one key but there are two around.

This is useful in case you lose a key.

We're all very careful, but let's be real.

Sometimes we lose keys.

It just happens.

If you keep an extra one hidden away,

you now have a backup in case you lose the main key.

This has a similar effect as making proper backups

but is another way to go about it.

Now, you still need proper backups

I just wanted to illustrate another use case.

Anyway, there's a few examples of how multi-sig

fits into they crypto world.

You can use multi-sig for all sorts of things, though.

Trade agreements, keeping exchanges honest,

children's savings accounts, and much more.

Anywhere there is a need or want for stricter access to things,

there is an opportunity to use multi sig.

Let's recap really quick here.

Multi-sig is short for multiple signatures.

It means that a public address can have more than one key

and may require multiple to be used at the same time to spend funds.

You may need one of two keys to spend the funds.

Maybe you need two of two keys.

You might need three of six or any other combination, really.

It all depends on how you set it up.

So next time you hear multi-sig just think multiple keys to access.

Okay.

That's it for today, guys.

If you have any questions,

please feel free to comment below and I will be happy to help you out.

Suggestions for topics to cover are always welcome as well.

I like to talk about

what you guys are currently most curious about so let me know.

Be sure to like and share the video.

It helps me out a lot.

And as always...

Thank you for tuning in.

I love having you.

And I will see you in the next PIVX Class.

What is Amplitude? | Synthesizer | Music Production | Berklee Online - Duration: 1:26.

Amplitude.

When you're looking at a two dimensional waveform display,

amplitude is the height of that waveform.

For audio signals, this equates to the sounds of loudness.

A quiet sound, like a whisper, will have a small amplitude,

while a sound with a lot of energy like a jet engine has a larger amplitude.

A good metaphor for amplitude is altitude.

We measure the height of mountains as being a certain number of feet

above sea level, and the depths and valleys of the oceans

to be below sea level.

Just like sound, mountains can be formed by two elements colliding.

For sound, it might be a finger plucking the string or striking a key.

And in regard to mountains, it would be two tectonic plates

running into each other.

Depending on how much energy is behind these collisions,

the resulting sound will have a varying degree of loudness,

which is equivalent to its amplitude.

In a way, you can visualize a mountain's amplitude just by looking up.

Imagine how loud that collision must have been.
