Arsenal have a deal in place to sign Juventus star Stephan Lichtsteiner, who will become
Unai Emery's first signing at the Emirates.
The right-back is out of contract with the Old Lady at the end of the season and can
join another club on a free transfer from July 1st.
The Swiss defender was in London last week to visit Arsenal's training ground and is
believed to be keen on a move to the Gunners.
Emery wants to add cover for Hector Bellerin and believes Lichtsteiner would add some much
needed experience to the squad he inherited from Arsene Wenger.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Arsenal have the deal in place to sign Lichtsteiner and
the defender wants the move to be completed before the World Cup.
The 34-year-old has received a number of lucrative offers from the far-east but he says his next
move will not be motivated by money.
'I don't chase money and I need a place where I'll have a good quality of life,'
said Lichtsteiner.
'My wife and children have to be happy and that wouldn't be the case in China.
I don't need more money.'
Emery will be handed a modest £50m to spend this summer, though clearly Lichtsteiner will
not eat into that budget.
However, the Spaniard can top-up his budget via player sales and the likes of Lucas Perez
and Shkodran Mustafi could leave.

older children on the sticky part of a
post-it and cut out
stick the numbers onto 10 LEGO DUPLO bricks and you and
your child can play building a number line
so mummy's gonna muddle them out

so can you find number 1

Finn is doing so well and I really to be honest would
not have sat down and done numbers in this way with him
I probably would have done it in a really boring way maybe
with a book and made it feel a bit like work
because I'm just learning how to sort of be a mum and help out at home
this is so much fun for the two of us and I've been amazed and impressed
by how much he knows, and he's super engaged
