GDP are for small business we are gonna talk about that come on hey guys it's

K-Ninja here and if you're at all into publishing make sure you hit that

because publishing is all this channel talks about and today we're going to be

talking about GDP are for small business now a lot of you might be wondering what

is GDP are what does that even mean and it stands for general data protection

regulation now you may not care you might say well what does that have to do

with me Kay ninja well hopefully it has nothing to do with you if it has nothing

to do with you you're doing well but if you run a small business whether it's a

publishing business or any kind of business or if you have some kind of

blog or website or small author platform that's online then the GDP are affects

you if you don't have an online presence it doesn't affect you but if you one day

hope to be a small business and perhaps have some kind of online presence and

you'd better listen up now the GDP are is this thing introduced by the EU

meaning Europe and I had the problem of not knowing what to do about it I

thought I was gonna have to spend thousands of dollars on attorneys and

what that means is it's really a weird situation but I'm gonna explain what it

means first then I'm gonna tell you about my struggle with it and then I'm

gonna tell you what I did to resolve the problem so the GDP are is basically like

a set of regulations that's designed to protect the data of the people but

what's really scary about it is that there's a fine of 20 million euros for

non-compliance and if you don't know euros that's 24 million dollars and

that's right you could be just some little bloggers you might not even

have a business you might barely be making money online and if you're found

in non-compliance with the GDP are they can slap you with the 24 million dollar

fine now you might laugh you might think hohoho I'm not in Europe what do I care

what's going on in Europe and I thought the same thing believe me I didn't want

to be a part of this thing I kind of felt like I was at peace with everyone

and then World War three broke out and the war found me I didn't want to know

what gdpr was I wanted to be like you ignorant to the whole situation I wanted

to think this is a European problem it's got nothing to do with me I don't care

what kinds of regulations they implement about the Internet

but here's the deal GDP are States and this is my understanding on this I'm not

like a gdpr attorney or professional of any kind GDP are states that you must

notify users of cookies at the time they encounter the cookie and you might not

even really know what a cookie is like me

I always thought of a cookie as being something that was a little more healthy

than cake but that's not the only thing about the GDP are if someone who uses

your website is an EU resident and they don't have to be in the EU per se they

could be living in the US or anywhere in the world

I happen to be in Japan but I'm not European I'm American anyway I'm not

gonna get into politics but the point is if someone from the EU

anywhere in the world goes to your website and they use it whether you have

a blog that they read or you have a business where you sell something and

they want to request what data you have on them you have to make it possible for

them to access that data you have to have a system in place that can provide

them with the data that they asked for but it gets even more complicated than

that because they have to have the ability to delete that data upon request

meaning you have to give them the ability to choose to delete the data

the way this is done now is by letting the user press some kind of button in an

email which they don't have to press if they don't want to giving them the

choice to delete their data or not and the two points I just mentioned that's

not even the half of it there's actually about seven points that affect most

people and a whole bunch of other stuff so it's actually much more than seven

and if you don't comply with this they can slap you with a fine of twenty

million euros twenty four million dollars they can bankrupt your business

now you might be thinking yeah I'd like to see them come and get me in

Mississippi or wherever you live but here's the real scary thing the real

scary thing is that they can because the way the global legal system works now is

that if you owe money in one country if it's a UN nation then they can exercise

international law and get you in your own country and if you're in the US and

you just have a simple website online or you just have a little small business

and you violate the gdpr and Europe drops a twenty million euro fine on you

it goes through a process of attorneys straight to the US government and then

they say that the EU says you owe this money and the US government enforces it

and gets you and for many small businesses like me even though I happen

to be in Japan one violation of this and they can bankrupt my business now you

might be thinking this isn't a new thing international law has been going on for

a while like this it's always been like this

and I agree with you to some extent but this is the first time that something

like this has happened on this kind of scale the GDP are started May 25th of

2018 and the way I look at it Europe kind of imposed this thing on the world

none of us wanted to be part of the GDP our or anything like that and you might

think one way to get out of it is to just shut off Europe from seeing my

website and that's one possible strategy but the truth is even if someone from

Europe is not in Europe and they're in the US and they're able

to access your website and they ask you for their data and you have a limited

time by which to produce it and they need the control of whether they delete

their data and if you can't take care of it all they have to do is report you and

boom the EU wants to come after you for 20 million euros that your own

government wherever you live in the world will enforce because they're bound

to now to me it seems like Europe very much took advantage of global

legislature in order to kind of scam the world because yes if you're not in

compliance with this thing they can get you and currently small businesses are

freaking out about this they're freaking out because who wants to take the risk

to be slapped with a 20 million euro fine and get put out of business

and if you're a small business and if you're freaking out about this thing

like I was then I've got a solution that I think may work for you

I don't know if it will actually work for you but I found something something

that worked for me it helped me take a handful of my own websites and make them

gdpr compliant now before I found this thing I was

thinking I'd have to spend thousands of dollars or read the entire gdpr which is

like a 200 page document that's basically a bunch of technical jargon so

I searched for a solution and after hundreds of hours of scouring the

internet I found something and yes it is an affiliate link so I make a little

something if you purchase through my link and before you think well ok ninja

you're making a profit off it of course you're gonna tell us it's good this

whole video was a commercial you're trying to sell us some product into you

I answer in the history of my youtube channel and you can check all my past

videos if you'd like I'd never once for an affiliate link anywhere or had

been a reseller of any product that wasn't my own the reason I recommend

this product is because the product is actually good I use it on my own website

this product solved all of my problems now the product is a wordpress plugin

and it makes taking care of your GDP our problems a breeze but what do I know

anyway I'm just a guy who runs his own publishing business online who lives in

Japan and if you'd like to know a little bit more about being a kindle publisher

backends set up on books and things author platforms and I have a website

guides you through everything you need to do in order to be gdpr compliant and

what it can do because I believe the sales page for the software is so good

features and stuff so yeah I highly recommend you click the link in the

description and just take a look at it like seriously this plugin really helped

me out with a lot of headaches that I had with my online business regarding

this whole gdpr thing now you may have heard that a ninja is actually working

on a piece of software that he's coming out with soon and yes I am but this

isn't it this is just something that helped me out and if you're kind of in

the same situation and you feel like you need to get gdpr compliant

without a bunch of headaches then this thing is the best solution that I found

for that yeah it is that good it takes away a bunch of headaches but this video

it's not about that plug-in it's about the gdpr and how it's a real major pain

for a small business owner like myself and that's all I've got to say about

really I really don't want to talk about the gdpr thing anymore

A lot of people see me that they think that I'm

like 20 something you know. But I'm actually just

18 making 19 in June. I've never been

away from home by myself this long, well

actually never been away from home period. I came

here for school and to start traveling with my

friend. I feel very supported, like they

understand where you coming from and I'm not sure

how other schools might do it, but then they

might be like College style like you're on

your own, you have to figure it out by yourself.

Like that so, but this school is a lot different,

like they see that you missed a day they can

help you make up that day and you don't have to

wear a uniform because you know when you're in high

school it's uniform all the time. Well, depending

on what school you go to, but I would say wearing

whatever you want and not being told, what to do

and you know they're giving you options or

suggestions that you do things I prefer that,

instead of being told what to do all the time. I

really like to help people feel better because I

understand that people are tense and stressed all

the time so I really like giving massages I

feel like giving is a purpose for me so you

can, you know, connect with someone personally as

a client and a therapist. I was gonna do

marine biology, but I mean I still love

ocean and stuff. I swim a lot so I still like

research ocean life and all of that and swim a lot. I

just didn't see myself doing College for Marine

biology. After graduation I plan to start working

at a spa because I wanna do relaxation massage

and then just save up for the things that I

really need in life and then by next year I'm

gonna move to Orlando and then me and my friend

I'm gonna start saving up so we can start

traveling every other year. I would miss the

vibes here because the vibes here is like very calm and settling

you can just relax and you could be

stressing, but you can still be calm here. This is

all the time because

Why R. Kelly's Streaming Numbers Aren't a Real Win for His Career - Duration: 2:09.

The #MuteRKelly campaign is in full swing, which included R. Kelly's music being removed

from Spotify's editorial playlists and their Discover section.

It was a controversial, polarizing move, but one interesting stat came out this week regarding

R. Kelly's streaming numbers: they weren't actually affected.

Prior to Spotify's announcement, Kelly's music reportedly had 6,584,000 weekly streams

for the year.

From the timeframe of May 10 through May 16, Nielsen Music reports that Kelly grabbed 6,676,000

streams.

Keep in mind, these stats come from streaming services that include Spotify, Apple Music,

and Pandora, among others, but it was enough to prompt R. Kelly to gloat.

"It's too late, they should have did this sh*t 30 years ago.

I've got a million motherfuckers hating me, and 40 billion motherf**kers loving me."

Now R. Kelly isn't wrong in the sense that he's still got fans; but as writer Michael

Arceneaux pointed out in a recent article on Complex, that's primarily because R.

Kelly's been a veritable hit factory since the early '90s.

It's also one of the reasons why the #MuteRKelly campaign won't totally wipe him out of the

industry: Kelly has too much cache as the quote King of R&B built up to be effectively

wiped out, like a number of stars before him.

That said, as Arceneaux points out, #MuteRKelly won't totally wipe him out of the scene,

nor does it strive to do so.

"[I]t's not about forcibly making everyone permanently tune out R. Kelly.

What is possible, though, is turning a man long accused of being a predator into a public

pariah, effectively stripping him of the institutional support he should have stopped enjoying long

ago.

As for those who continue listening to R. Kelly's music no matter what, at the very

least, they can be called out for any public display of support of him and what that signifies."

R. Kelly is right in another sense: the public, music critics, and the industry at large should

have done something when the first allegations of him having sex with underage women came

to light.

From the Village Voice to Vibe magazine, these allegations and stories of holding women in

sex cults have hit the news cycle over the years, on multiple occasions.

The question is, what will it take for some fans or outlets to start pushing back, and

demanding more from the people that make music?

Time will tell, and from what it seens, the #MuteRKelly campaign is a marathon, not a

sprint.

DIY Summer Magnets | How To Make Magnets For a Fridge or a Locker - Duration: 3:55.

Hey whats up you guys? My name is Emily and in this video I'm going to show you

how to make summer magnets in three different ways.

Lets get on with the video!

For the first magnet, you want to get a piece of cardboard

and you want to draw out a Popsicle on the cardboard.

Then you want to cut it out.

When you're done cutting it out you can paint the Popsicle

any color that you want and you want to wait for it to dry.

When the paint is dry, you can get a Popsicle stick

and if you need you cut the stick so it can fit onto the Popsicle.

I cut my Popsicle stick with wire cutters but you could just break it with your hands.

Then you can glue the stick onto the back of the Popsicle

and then you can glue a magnet on the back.

If you want you can paint a face onto the Popsicle

and you can tie a bow out of ribbon and glue a bow onto it.

For the second magnet, you want to roll out one or more colors of Polymer clay

that's similar to any color of fruit in between two pieces of parchment paper.

You can also use wax paper.

Then you want to cut the shape of the fruit

that you want to make out of the clay

and make sure it's bigger than the magnet your going to use.

I made a strawberry so I made the fruit out of red clay and the leaves out of green clay.

When you're done cutting out your fruit you can smooth out the edges with your finger.

Then you can attach any details like the leaves to the fruit.

When you're done with your fruit

you can lay it out on a piece of tin foil or a piece of parchment paper

on a baking tray and then you can put your clay onto it.

Then you can bake the clay at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

You do want to check the clay's instructions before baking the clay.

When the clay is done baking, you want to take the clay

out of the oven and you want wait for it to cool off.

When the clay has cooled off you can paint more details onto the fruit.

I used a pencil as a paintbrush to paint the yellow seeds onto the strawberry.

When the paint is dry or when the clay has cooled off

you can glue on a magnet onto the back.

For the last magnet, you want to draw a image of anything that you want onto a piece of paper

and you want to make sure you make it big because your image will shrink.

Then you can trace the image on a piece of Shrinky Dink plastic with a permanent marker.

You can also color the image now or you can wait until after baking it.

When you're done tracing your image you can cut it out.

When you're done cutting it out you want to put onto a baking sheet with parchment paper or tin foil.

Then you can put it in the oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit

and wait for the plastic to curl

and flatten back out and wait 30 more seconds

until taking the Shrinky Dinks out of the oven.

Make sure you check the Shrinky Dink instructions before baking.

When you're done baking your Shrinky Dinks you can take it out of the oven

and then you can quickly flatten the plastic with a piece of cardboard.

When the Shrinky Dink has cooled off you can paint it.
