Who Is The Holy Spirit - Duration: 6:12.For all the technology has brought, us there's nothing quite like the natural world. It's awe-inspiring
It's breathtaking. It's life-giving. When i was growing up I didn't hear much about the Holy Spirit. The only time the Holy
Spirit, was mentioned was in school assembly prayers which always finished with the same words: in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
The holy spirit seemed like an
afterthought; at best a kind of vague
supernatural force and it was something strained or even a bit freaky.
But in the bible the Holy Spirit is an vague force but a person that you can know.
He isn't an optional extra either. He's front and central and he wasn't a recent invention.
He was there from the very beginning and everything all of this, was made through him.
In the beginning there was God.
The earth was empty, formless, dark and the Spirit of God hovered over the waters.
And God said let there be light.
So there, was day followed by night.
With each new day came new creation. Vast oceans, the vaster sky, the earth green and growing.
The spirit of God, the Creator Spirit, brought out of the chaos of the cosmos, out of disorder-
order. Out of confusion-
harmony
Out of deformity-
beauty
The cosmos galaxies the sun the moon and every star
Creatures of every shape, and size to swim fly and roam the land
Then God created man and woman in his image and breathed
life into them. And God sent
His spirit upon his chosen people to guide them to give them gifts for a particular time and purpose to fulfill, God's work on Earth.
God sent his spirit upon a man called Bezalel
giving him the gift of creativity and artistic knowledge to craft and shape precious metals and gems into art
into a house for the Lord.
The Spirit of God came upon Gideon- a weak, and fearful man. So he became a brave warrior, who saved, God's people.
Samson,
who was taken prisoner. God sent his spirit to give him the extraordinary strength to break free from the ropes tied around him.
The Spirit of the Lord came upon him in power. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax and the bindings dropped
from his hands.
God filled others with
His spirit for prophecy to be his mouthpiece bringing direction and hope to his people.
The Spirit came upon Isaiah to bring good news of hope.
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted. To proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners."
Upon Ezekiel: "I will give you a new heart and put a
new spirit in you. I will remove from you the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
I will put my spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws."
Through the prophet Joel we learn who this promise is for and how it will happen.
"I will pour out my spirit on all people.
Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my spirit in those days."
God's promise was that he would do something new.
Not just for particular people, at particular times, for particular tasks, but for everyone.
All people regardless of position, age, gender, ethnicity, and race.
Then with the birth of Jesus it was like a trumpet sounded
and everyone's surrounding the birth of jesus, was filled with the Holy Spirit.
Mary the mother of Jesus,
Elizabeth, Mary's cousin,
John the Baptist, and then Jesus at his baptism.
The Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form.
Full of the Holy Spirit, He began to teach, heal the sick, bring freedom to the captives, to heal the brokenhearted.
So often what happens in the old testament in a
physical way, happens in the new testament in a spiritual way.
As Bezalel was given the skill to craft and design the temple, the Holy Spirit always brings new things to our lives.
New attitudes. New desires. New ways of worship. New songs.
Whatever you do in your workplace, the Spirit of God wants to fill you with skill, ability, and creativity.
Like Gideon, God uses people who feel weak,
inadequate, ill-equipped.
As God's spirit gave Samson physical strength to break free from his bindings, so today
the Holy Spirit brings freedom to break the habits, the addictions, the things that keep people
spiritually bound.
The Holy Spirit softens our hearts. He takes away our hearts of stone and gives us hearts of flesh.
The Holy Spirit who helps us to break free from bad habits
also harnesses a desire to love others and to help those in need.
The experience of the Holy Spirit is not only about what is felt,
but also about making a difference in the world.

Why Is Prince Harry Called 'Harry' Instead of Henry? - Duration: 5:38.Why Is Prince Harry Called 'Harry' Instead of Henry?
Prince Harry's real name is Henry Charles Albert David.
He is formally known as Prince Henry of Wales or, more technically, Prince Henry Charles Albert David Mountbatten-Windsor of Wales.
Ever since he was a boy, the youngest son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana has gone by the casual nickname of "Harry.".
To dive a bit deeper into his name, Princess Diana chose the moniker — at least the first part of it.
"I chose William and Harry, but Charles did the rest.
He wanted Albert and Arthur, and I said no.
Too old," Princess Diana told author Andrew Morton, for his book, Diana: Her Story, according to PopSugar.
The names Charles, Albert, and David, are all central to the British monarchy.
Charles, of course, is Harry's father's name.
Albert stems from Queen Victoria's husband, Albert of Saxe-Coburg.
"Queen Victoria's prince consort had this name before any kings did — then her son, grandson, and two great-grandsons all became king with this name on their birth certificates, one of them with it in first place, even.
Yet there has never been a King Albert.
The one who could have been, Edward VII's son Albert Victor, died before he got the crown," The Week reports.
And finally, David is the patron saint of Wales.
If Harry were to ever become king, he would be King Henry IX, according to Business Insider.
"Harry is currently sixth in line to the throne, and every time William and Kate have a child, he moves back one spot.
He is, therefore, very unlikely ever to become king.
But if he did, he would likely be known as King Henry IX — though royals can choose any of their multiple names, so Henry Charles Albert David could also go for Charles III, Albert I, or David I," reports Business Insider.
On May 19, 2018, Prince Harry married Meghan Markle.
The ceremony began at noon local time at St.
George's Chapel at Windsor Chapel.
When Harry and Meghan took their vows, they were expected to each other's full names.
For Harry, he was expected to call his bride, Rachel Meghan Markle, as her given first name is Rachel.
When Meghan recited her vows, she used Harry's nickname, as opposed to Henry Charles Albert David.
When Harry's brother, Prince William, married Kate Middleton back in 2011, royal wedding watchers were fairly stunned when the bride ever-so-eloquently repeated her groom's full name — William Philip Arthur Louis.
When Princess Diana married Prince Charles, she actually said his name incorrectly, perhaps allowing her wedding day nerves to get the best of her.
When she was asked to recite her vows, "I, Diana Francis, take thee, Charles Philip Arthur George," Diana said, "I, Diana Francis, take thee, Philip Charles Arthur George," by mistake.
You can check this out in the video below.
Meghan Markle didn't get quite as flustered as her groom's mother, however.
Now that Prince Harry is a married man, he will get a new title.
His grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, bestowed a dukedom upon him.
He has officially become the Duke of Sussex, thus making Markle the Duchess of Sussex.

[ROS In 5 Minutes] 005 - What is a node in ROS? - Duration: 5:03.Hello ROS developers! Welcome to ROS in Five Minutes video series by The Construct,
your channel for anything ROS. I'm Bayode Aderinola and in this video we will answer
the question "What is a node in ROS?" For this video we'll be using ROS
Development Studio, a powerful online tool for pushing your ROS learning in a
practical way. You can create a free account and do exactly what you see in
this video and more. You will find a link to the Studio in the video description. So
let's get started! For this demonstration we will create a new project and call
that ROS node demo. Make it a public project so that others can see it.
Once that is done we go ahead and open the project.
Okay so the project is open and here we have some very powerful tools we
can use for our practice. So the first one we are going to use is a shell and
in the previous video we saw that before we can do anything in ROS we need to get the ros
core started. So that's the first thing we are going to do right now: start the
roscore which gets the ROS system started to receive any other command. To start that
we just type the command roscore and press ENTER. So notice here...this is the
beginning of everything. Now under NODES here in the output of that
command you can see some things here and one of them is "started core service /rosout"
so and because it's listed under NODES here we know that this '/rosout'
is a node and by by this we can already guess what a node does: it provides
services. So as we'll see later this /rosout provides services to other...even other
nodes in the system. So, basically, what the ROS node does is that it
provides services for the whole ROS ecosystem. Now we'll run a second command in a
separate terminal to see what nodes are available now. That command is "rosnode
list" Great!
So here we know that one node we
have now is /rosout and it provides services to the rest of the system and
can find out more information about the node by typing 'rosnode info /rosout'
So let's see the output a little bit. So we can see here that is a node in
ROS and one of the first things it does is that it publishes to a topic and this
is the name of the topic and it also subscribes to a topic and this is the name of
the topic /rosout and again it provides some services which are listed here as
well. In some other videos we'll be learning more about topics
subscriptions and services. But here you can see that this rosout node is doing
some wonderful things for the ROS system by doing all this work. We can have
many of them in ROS...in fact we do have many of them providing different
functionality to the whole ROS ecosystem. So for a robot
you definitely have so many nodes providing one service or the other that
means the robot function the way it does in a coordinated manner. You can visit
the ROS wiki to learn more about ROS nodes. And that was all! But before you
go remember to visit Robot Ignite Academy, our online academy where you will find
practical online ROS courses using simulated robots. No installation required.
You will also find a link to the Academy in the video description. I invite you to
register for our ROS Developers Conference. You can click the link; it will
take you to this site where you can find more information and register for the
conference. Did you like the video? If you did please give us a thumbs up and
remember to subscribe to our channel and press the bell for a new video every day
Either you liked it or not please share your thoughts and questions in the comment
area. Peace out! O dabo!!

[ROS In 5 Minutes] 006 - What is a ROS launch file? - Duration: 5:02.Hi! My name is Ruben Alves, I'm from Robot Ignite Academy and today are
going to see what is a ROS launch file how to use it. For that you are going to
use this platform which allows you to learn ROS in are really fast and
practical way using robot simulations let's get started for that let me launch
this course, ROS Basics in 5 Days , wait some seconds until the platform
loads and here we have the simulation already the instructions loading on the
left side and almost there and yeah here you have it okay I have created here a
tutorial package a with a publisher and a subscriber ok the content of this
video is not about how to create a publisher and a subscribe and we have another
videos for that. But let's suppose I want to run this
publisher I have to call rosrun+ the name of our package and publisher.py
to run our publisher to run the subscriber we have to run rosrun + the
name of our package and subscriber and the subscriber it's receiving message
and printing ok subscriber received a message as you can see here the
subscriber prints: subscriber received a message let me maximize in here the font
size so you can see it better okay subscriber received a message if
you check here we have to let me close this this file okay
if you check here we have to run commands twice in order to run
these two nodes we have to run rosrun + the name of our package and publisher and then
rosrun tutorial (which is the name of our package) and subscriber imagine if you have hundreds
of files that you have to launch it's not possible to launch them
manually like this because it is going to take a long time so that's why we
have the launch files Lets create
here a folder called launch and in this folder let's create a file called
pub_sub.launch ok let's open here on the IDE to edit it very let's
change here the syntax highlighting to XML and yes ok
to create a launch file we have this launch and we have to specify the nodes
that we want to launch we have to specify the name, in this case
let's call publisher is on the package tutorial and the name of our file is
publisher.py. Now let's run the subscriber. The name is subscriber, in the
same package and the name of the file is subscriber.py
So as you can see here we can run two files in a single way you don't have to run
"rosrun tutorial publisher.py" and "rosrun tutorial subscribe.py" as we did before
as we did in here you don't have to do this we just have to call this launch
file and our nodes will be executed in a single shot, let's say, so I
just run roslaunch + the name of our of our ..., something important here
let's put here the output="screen" so we can see what the publisher
is printing, the subscriber, I mean . So roslaunch tutorial and the
name of our file, pub_sub.launch ok if you see the publisher the subscriber is
working and the publisher is also working as you can see it was launched
and the package tutorial the publisher and the subscriber so easy, no? With a single
file we can launch many many nodes so this is the power
the real power of these launch files in summary is basically a file that
makes your life easier when working with ROS. In order to see how to run this
roslaunch file you can ruin this parameter -h and see everything. Okay guys that
is quite it for today, I hope you enjoyed the video if you liked it just give us a
thumbs up, suscribe to our Channel and press the bell for a new video every
single day
