Is peaceful difficulty ACTUALLY EASY? | Minecraft - Duration: 3:10.

Have you ever considered to play on a peaceful difficulty?

From a first look, it sounds like you are making game too easy.

Easy enough to make yourself getting bored.

Making yourself almost impossible to die

Sounds like you're removing almost entire survival aspect of the game.

But is that actually true?

Minecraft is the game about building.

Most of the time you are building or collecting resources

And mobs are just occasionally spawning and just annoying you.

And mobs aren't actually that strong.

When you'll get to diamond gears, mobs will be NOT challenging for you at all.

And you are probably sleeping through the night anyway.

Survival building however - is the real challenge of this game.

For example, in my survival series, I have created a creeper farm

And spent significant amount of time collecting resources to decorate it~

Well...

Actually, I have got most of the resources in a community shopping area, but anyway,

Somebody had to get resources, and I had to get diamonds to buy them.

And building flying things without creative flight is a challenge by itself.

It's just completely different experience to build in survival

And it's way more satisfying to get it done.

And if we're talking about farms, this is a reason for peaceful difficulty

To be actually even HARDER, than others.

Because hostile mobs are not spawning, you can't kill them to get their loot.

You have to explore and scavenge for, in other case, common items

Like string, bonemeal, ender pearls, and gunpowder to make rocket for you elytra.

And wait, actually, you can't get elytra on a peaceful difficulty.

To access the end, you have to get blaze powder to make eyes of ender

And there is no other ways to get blaze powder rather than killing blazes.

And even if you'll bypass this issue, the only source of a gunpowder is dungeon chests

So, it's probably better to make yourself a Punch II bow.

And btw, your mining experience will be way way more tedious without a beacon.

So, is there actual benefits from a peaceful difficulty?

Well, yes.

You can play with light levels without caring about mobs to spawn.

Minecraft is the game about building

But the requirement of lighting EVERYTHING up

Limits you very very much.

However, there is a place in a Minecraft world without mobs spawning on ANY difficulty.

The Mushroom Island.

If you can bear with the second ugliest block in a game, this is a place to go.

Your base will be always safe, you don't have to sleep through the night

And you can build your farms just outside.
