Emmerdale spoilers: Is this the character who will DIE this week?

Emmerdale fans will see a beloved character die during a freak accident at the B&B.

While show bosses have kept quiet about who will be losing their life, fans think they have worked out who it could be.  The obvious option is Emmerdale cast member Gerry Roberts (Shaun Thomas), who has discovered Lachlan White (Thomas Atkinson) killed his mum and grandfather earlier this year.

But after seeing the episode, fans are convinced it is actually Doug Potts (Duncan Preston) after sensing he was being featured more than usual.

They took social media to wonder if Gerry is being used a red herring, with one posting: Dougs suddenly getting featured a lot more which makes me certain hell be the one that dies. Another added: Doug is going to die, isnt he? And Gerry is a red herring?.

A third chipped in: I think it will be Doug who dies.

A fourth wrote: I love Doug, please dont let him die.

Is Doug going to be snuffed out just as he gets some limelight?.

It is set to be a grisly time on the soap, as Ross is also on the brink of a violent spree.

Driven crazy by his desire to get revenge on Simon McManus, he is going to get hold of a gun and confront Joe Tate, who paid Simon to keep him quiet.

The gun is set to go off, could it kill off another character in the Dales? Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV.

Emmerdale to air ANOTHER brutal death as beloved character is shot?

Emmerdales Ross Barton (Michael Parr) has been desperate to get revenge on his acid attacker Simon McManus.

When he discovered Simon wouldnt be facing jail time for throwing acid over him, he swore he would kill him by any means possible.

In coming weeks, Emmerdale cast member Ross will become obsessed with his mission, and his determination will end with dire consequences.

Ross will track down Simons friend Connor and attacks him, causing him to get in serious trouble with him and his drug-dealing friends.

Later, Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) tries to tell Ross about her and Joe reuniting, but is taken aback when she realises he is still out for Simon.

There is even more turmoil for Ross after he discovers Simon was paid a large sum of money to stay quiet about the acid attack.

He quickly comes to the conclusion it was Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) behind it all, and storms over to Home Farm to confront him.

In a shock twist, Ross also managed to get hold of a gun and confronts his nemesis at gunpoint.

The pair get locked in a tense showdown, but things take a deadly turn when the gun suddenly goes off.

One character is hit as they fall to the floor but who was it? Is Emmerdale about to air another shock death? The soap is set to kill off a beloved character this week as disaster will strike the B&B.

Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
