Rob: Hello.

Welcome back to another Poolside chat presented by Inyopools.com.

I'm Rob.

Matthew: I am Matthew.

Before we start, we have to answer a question we

received in the comments from last week's show.

The answer is yes.

The question goes as such, do new pool

heaters require a fireman switch?

Now, before you start yapping, let me talk to these people real quick.

Let's explain what a fireman switch is.

A fireman switch in conjunction with a timer is used to shut

the heater down 15 to 20 minutes before the pump turns off.

This was essential for older gas heaters because

the old-style fire box retained so much heat.

The pump was needed to run water through

the heater while the fire break cooled down.

Rob: According to Hayward and Raypack, a fireman

switch is not required with their new heaters.

The new fireboxes are made of silica fiber panels

that do not retain heat inside the cabinet.

All these newer heaters dissipate heat almost immediately.

That being said, it's not about you,

check with your local code requirements.

Some municipalities may still require a fireman switch.

Matthew: All right.

Your part was good but my part was better.

Thank you for joining us.

If you like this video, please like and also subscribe.

We'd appreciate.

Thank you for joining us.

Bye.

Retro Game Collecting Tips - Searching on eBay for the Best Auctions - Duration: 5:16.

hello how is it going in this video I'm going to be talking about auctions to

target on eBay for retro-gaming bargains hopefully by sharing these tips you'll

be able to do the same as what I've done over the past three and a half years and

find yourself some retro-gaming bargains whether you're new to the Hobby or

whether you've been doing it for some time one of the keys to finding bargains

on eBay especially retro gaming bargains with

the prices going up constantly at the moment is to really really get stuck

into the descriptions into your search terms is to really widen it as far as you

can and spend a bit of time looking for things the more time you spend the more

likely you're going to be able to find a bargain for yourself now I say that

because last year I really fancied getting myself an electronic tabletop game

the old sort of tabletop games like Astro wars that you got back in the

early 80s which were really popular and i never had any of a had any of those

as a kid i had the little handheld things but never the tabletop ones so I

fancied getting one of those for my collection so I started looking for

Astro Wars, I still haven't got one yet but I was looking at that and I was looking for

various other things you've got like caveman and all the space invaders

games things like that and then because I was working on the different search

terms I just put in electronic game and when I did that loads of stuff came up

as in modern stuff there was some older stuff but when I searched electronic

game I found this grandstand scramble and it

was in the title of this auction it had electronic game scramble wasn't

mentioned at all I got this for about fiver and for that fiver you saw the

box I also got the game I got the power supply and I got the original manual

fantastic bargain just by broadening that search now things like this with

putting random descriptions for things they aren't exactly gonna pop up

straightaway now it can take a little bit of time but believe me when you find

something it is worth it and another thing to do is to look for miss spelt

items now I said in my NES collection video that I released recently that I

brought this for about 15 quid which is really cheap for maniac mansion boxed

complete fantastic game and the reason I got this so cheap was because the title

of the game was spelled wrong and when I did the last video I couldn't remember what

it was but there was one letter missing and this was auctioned advertised as

manic mansion and because of that nobody was looking at it and I got it for a

decent price so try some little obvious misspelling

it can really turn up some of bargains always search buy it now prices

for specific items that you want always start with cheapest first look for

the really cheapest ones sometimes you can find one sometimes you have to act

quick because other people will find them but make sure there's a nice clear

set of pictures where you can see exactly what you're going to get just in

case you don't get any nasty surprises when that item arrives through the door

now my top tip and I have said it before in other videos is look for auctions

that are gonna finish during the day and when I say

during the day that means wherever you are in the world whether you're in the

UK whether you're in Europe you're in

Canada or you're in the US look for auctions that are going to end during

normal working office hours wherever you are between nine and five to six o'clock

that is where you will find bargains most of the time because there won't be

as many eyes watching the item because people are distracted by doing their

daily work routine they're at work they can't concentrate they forget about

stuff I've done that in the past where stuff is going to finish and I'll get

distracted because I'm doing my day job so look for ones that are going to

finish during the day during normal office hours there will be less

competition be there right at the death when it's going to end and there'll be

less people watching and you should be able to find yourself a bargain that's

not always the case on some of the more rare games because there's people that really

want them and are going to be really focused if you're going to be spending a

lot of money on the game but for more normal titles that's where you can find

a bargain what's your eBay hacks and tips for

auctions to target I really want to know and I'm sure everybody else watching

does so comment below thank you for watching this video if you

haven't subscribed please do so and if you have already top stuff

Darrin Camilleri for State Rep | Our Stories - Duration: 1:51.

I'm a state representative, but my story is not what you'd expect. I'm the son of

an immigrant from Malta and a Mexican-American woman who met on the

factory floor. Growing up, I dreamed about giving back

to the city that opened up its doors to my family. So I became a teacher. But when

I got to the classroom, I realized how much needed to change.

I had no textbooks. No curriculum. My students wanted to make a difference, but

had few opportunities. We needed a voice in Lansing. So I stepped up and ran for

State Rep. Now, I tell the stories of working families that have been ignored

for far too long. Like theT nurse who works 80 hours a week. he teacher who's

leaving a career he loves because he can't afford to stay.

The single mom taking care of two generations of her family while working

full-time. The factory worker fighting for safe working conditions and a fair wage.

This November we have a chance to make our stories the ones driving decisions in Lansing.

To build a better, stronger Michigan. And the stakes have never been higher. This

election will decide if we'll address Michigan's many challenges.

Improving our

schools. Preventing another Flint water crisis. Fixing our roads. Lowering

auto insurance rates and protecting and expanding our health care.

We need voices at the table who will stand up for working families. This is

our time to lead. I'm running for re-election to tell our stories. To stand

up to those in power who have lost touch with doing what's right.

I'm Darrin Camilleri, and I'm asking for your vote on November 6th.

is very boring. Especially if it's not

delivered correctly. So and if it's

boring people lose attention even though

they want to keep up with the instructor

they can't and they learn very little so

asked me that are you working with sales

force and then they asked me how do you

spell sales force I wish I knew why they

were asking me this questions apparently

they were getting ready for the school

presentation and what their parents are

doing just to give you an idea we put

our kids into the same class makes it

easier in the parents same homework same

teacher one Christmas present when my

daughter was presenting she said that

her dad's job is to sell with force

it was the nest to clarify and my

daughter paused for a moment and then

confidently elaborated when people don't

want to buy her dad's ideas she sells

them with force since my son is in the

same class on his own idea what his dad

is doing he said that she's mistaken

because his dad works for Star Wars she

was confused as confused as everybody

else in the class my son explained that

his dad always tells people on the phone

may sales force be with you you know I

can only imagine what they will be

sharing about my job next since recently

when I was talking about sales force

conference on the phone they asked me

how do you spell Dreamforce do me tell

older son to the doctor and told him

that he is really addicted to technology

Tips For Playing The Trapper in Dead by Daylight | Heavy.com - Duration: 4:50.

Tips For Playing The Trapper in Dead by Daylight | Heavy.com

While most players will likely try survivor out first in Dead by Daylight there's actually a wide variety of killers to try out and learn.

There are numerous killers in the game and that number only grows with each chapter patch.

New survivors come into the game too but those are mostly just for perks while a new killer means a new playstyle to learn and master.

Whether it's because of a Daily Ritual or something else, most players will end up playing as all of the killers at least once and nobody wants to be a complete potato when they play.

The Trapper is one of the OG killers in the game and actually is the most played killer in the game according to a dev stream.

The Trapper isn't the strongest killer by any means but he can still be effective in the right hands.

Here are some tips for playing The Trapper.

Use Add-Ons To Carry More Traps.

The lifeblood of The Trapper is his traps.

That's why it's important to have as many as you can.

The Trapper loses a lot of time in the early by having to go around and collecting various traps.

This time could be spent chasing survivors off generators but he has to spend time collecting the traps.

That's why running an add-on that allows you to carry more traps will save a lot of time and let you get down to business quicker.

It's also handy to have a trap on hand when you hook a survivor since you'll be able to better defend the hook if you do.

Cut Off Loops With Your Traps.

The easiest way for The Trapper to catch players is to get them in his traps.

The traps could also be used as a deterrent for difficult looping spots.

Some popular spots to put traps are near pallets or on the other side of vault spots.

While these traps could easily be disarmed they can also be handy in a chase as the survivor will either get trapped by them or have to mix up their strategy, often leading to an easy catch.

Some maps that have been traditionally survivor-friendly can be made not that way with The Trapper.

An example of this is Haddonfield where the traps can cut off the side passages by the houses.

Place All Your Traps.

Matches begin with most of your traps scattered around so you'll want to at least pick them up and set them somewhere else.

Nothing is quite as disappointing as seeing a survivor run over your disarmed trap so you want to make sure that doesn't happen.

There is an add-on that can make your disarmed traps reset themselves so that might end up being a good add-on to run if you're forgetful of your traps.

Know When to Drop a Chase.

The Trapper, like most killers, is susceptible to vaults and has a slow early game.

If you find yourself in a prolonged chase to begin the game without setting any traps you might want to reconsider your options.

Perks to help slow the game down such as Hex: Ruin, Sloppy Butcher and Pop Goes the Weasel can go a long way to helping The Trapper maintain some semblance of early-game pressure.

For Every Dollar - Felicia Stewart Alabama House District 46 - Duration: 1:01.

- I come from humble beginnings.

For me, public education was a formative piece

of my success, and in our state

not enough of our children have access

to high quality education.

One of the areas where we're not last

is our first class Pre-K program,

but it's only gonna be available

to about 32% of eligible four-year-olds,

and that's not enough.

Studies show that students who participate

in that program are more engaged learners.

They're more likely to graduate high school

and to pursue post secondary education,

which feeds our economy, brings in better jobs.

For every dollar we invest

in early childhood education, we get $7 back.

Education is key to all of it.

We need policy makers who are committed

to driving funding and good education policy

for all of Alabama's kids.

I'm going to Montgomery to work.

Afro Kinky Curly vs. Coily: Betterlength Clip Ins | Protective Style for Natural Hair - Duration: 4:47.

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be showing you the Afro Kinky Coily hair

extensions by Betterlength. I'm gonna style the hair and then give you a quick

look at the differences between the Afro Kinky Curly hair extensions and these,

which are the Afro Kinky Coily hair extensions.

The hair has really tight coils and it does shrink

a lot once it's dry. Right now, it's about eight inches

long but the total length of this hair is 16 inches. Each piece is thick and

it's full of hair. Here I'm just showing you how each one is sewn

together with two different wefts. The bundle comes with ten pieces. You get two

extensions with five clips, two with four clips, two with three clips, two that are

four inches wide with two clips, and then two that are three inches wide with two

clips. As always, I cleanse my extensions first before I wear them. I like to

detangle with my fingers, then shampoo, rinse, and finally; I add a leave-in conditioner.

I'm gonna go ahead and show you a very simple hairstyle that I did using these

coily clip ins and then I'll show you a few differences between the Afro Kinky

Curly extensions and the Afro Kinky Coily extensions.

For my hair, I prefer the coily extensions only because they match my

curl pattern 50 times better than the Afro Kinky Curly ones did.

I wanted a bit of color. This is a very, very pretty temporary color

that I got from Dollar Tree...it's temporary... so, as soon as

water and a little bit of shampoo hits it then the color will rinse away.

Now here are a few clips of the differences between the two hair

textures. The coily extensions have a tighter curl. They're more frizzy and

they have more of a puffy feel to them when they're wet and the curly

extensions are shinier, smoother, and less frizzy than the coily extensions.

You can do any style with the Afro Kinky Coily hair extensions, they're not

difficult to work with. Treat them like you do your own hair, take care of them

and the clip ins will really be good to you. I hope this video is helpful to

anyone who wasn't sure which of these two textures to pick.

Be good and take care! :-)

3D Printing a Better Life for Dogs - Duration: 2:08.

We fell in love with this little puppy at our hospital.

When you see his face, you'll understand.

Bento was originally owned by a pet store and was accidentally dropped in the pet store.

And through a benefactor was able to be brought in so we could fix his front leg.

My fiancée and I were kind of waiting for the right time and the right dog.

And so, we brought him home and he clearly was going to need a lot more care.

Bento healed really well with surgery.

However, as he was continuing to heal we noticed his leg starting curving towards the outside

so he ended up with a leg that looked somewhat like a flipper.

So, the plan was to do a 3-D printed model of the leg to help gauge the degree of deformity.

And Case Western Reserve's think[box] was available, was open to the public.

We were very happy at think[box] to be able produce that model.

We have some really powerful software.

I've done this with different surgeons before.

Because a lot of times these deformities cannot be fully appreciated on x-rays.

When you're looking at x-rays you're looking at something 3-dimensional on a 2-dimensional image

The models I'm producing are being used in a research sense.

Not for clinical purposes.

To provide the surgeons with the ability to investigate different techniques

that might be useful.

We can resolve very fine anatomical details.

There's no substitute for actually handling a 3D model.

With the 3D printed model we were able to simulate the bone cut needed to correct Bento's deformity.

We were able to decrease the amount time Bento had to spend under anesthesia as well as other

risks such as infection.

Within a matter of days, he was using the leg, putting weight on it.

He wanted to be a normal puppy.

That's an awful thing to happen to a puppy to be dropped.

The consequences of that were severe.

To be able to change Bento's life is really exciting to me.

I look at him as my baby.

A member of the family.

We're excited to take him for walks.

Letting him see what real life is all about.

Ask the Vet - Healthiest snack for horses - Duration: 4:22.

SARAH: "What is the healthiest snack for a horse?

And in what quantity can I feed it?"

This is a great question.

Cody's very excited to find out what he

can have unlimited supplies of.

DR LYDIA GRAY: You know, I will start with a story.

I do stories, she does jokes.

Just so we're clear.

My story is, I was speaking at an Equine

Affaire, one of those expos.

And someone came up and they couldn't figure out

why their pony was overweight.

And so we went through the whole, what do you feed,

and turn out, and exercise?

And it turns out, they loved him so much.

They were giving him a bag of peppermints a day.

SARAH: Oh.

Sweet boy.

I bet he deserved them, though.

DR LYDIA GRAY: I'm sure he deserved them,

but while peppermints might be great treats,

that quantity is a little excessive.

Yeah, we did an exercise here.

SARAH: Because they're basically just hard packed sugar.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Well, yeah.

So here, we did an exercise at our last training.

SARAH: Oh, nice.

DR LYDIA GRAY: It was very fun.

These are nine peppermints.

And this is the sugar in nine peppermints, ends up

being 45 grams.

So you're right, it's just sugar with a little--

SARAH: Food coloring?

DR LYDIA GRAY: Probably, and then flavor.

SARAH: Yeah.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Versus--

here's something that people give horses a lot.

You can take that one.

I'm holding 19 grams of apple.

SARAH: And then I'm holding 2.9 grams of carrot.

DR LYDIA GRAY: I think people think that carrots

have more sugar than apple.

And this shows that they have less.

SARAH: You would typically expect a vegetable

to have less than a fruit, though, right?

DR LYDIA GRAY: You would.

But out there on the internet, or the interwebby,

is don't feed your horse carrots if they have a sugar issue.

SARAH: Apples are the healthiest treat.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Right, yeah.

So there it is in white--

as opposed to black and white.

SARAH: Well, there's a little black on the label.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Here's the really interesting thing.

SARAH: Oh, boy.

DR LYDIA GRAY: This is 2 pounds, or about 900 grams of sugar.

And it's from how much hay a horse would eat per day.

So we get a little caught up in--

SARAH: I thought you were going to say like a 20 ounce soda.

DR LYDIA GRAY: I think there's more sugar in a 20 ounce soda.

People get a little caught up in treats and supplements

and that.

But don't forget, this is how much sugar your horse

is getting from its hay.

So I started on the sugar kick--

the sugar high.

But 'healthy treat' is sort of a vague name

because healthy in what respect?

If your horse can't have sugars and starches, then clearly,

you're looking for the lowest sugar option.

But what if that's not a problem?

What if your horse can't have potassium,

say, because he's HYPP.

Then you have to sort out the treats that are low potassium.

What if he has a food sensitivity to something?

Then you have to avoid the treats that have that in it.

So healthy is a term that depends

on what issues your individual horse has.

And also, I put Newman's favorite treats up here--

these Hilton Herballs he gets when I pull his mane.

Those things, they're small.

I think they're very healthy as far as ingredients.

But their form is not for everyone.

Because if you have an older horse with questionable teeth,

they're not going to do so well with those.

They're not going to be able to chew them.

And they're going to swallow them whole then.

And potentially, you could have a choke.

So even the form is important, not just what's in them.

So I know people hate when I answer, but it depends.

So you have to look at what your horse has

that he's dealing with, and then look through the options--

whether it's commercial treats or whether it's human foods--

and choose the best there.

And as far as quantity, they're treats.

So you don't give them a bag of peppermints.

Use them as a treat.

They don't count.

So I think just even the expression

of, "You were a good boy today," is probably sufficient.

Don't go overboard.

EXCELLENCE IN PRACTICE: Improving Pacing for Heart Failure Patients with Dr. Abdul Alawwa - Duration: 0:49.

With heart failure, we have difficulties in terms of finding the appropriate tissue to

stimulate in the left ventricle and the proper site.

The quadripolar lead is really the best technology nowadays we have.

Quadripolar gives you multiple options and multiple vectors to pace the left ventricle.

It minimizes the issue of high thresholds, you can get around that, and phrenic nerve

stimulation.

In addition to that, there is multipoint pacing.

You can pace from two sides of the left ventricle and I see quite a bit that it makes a difference

in patients, especially with a low ejection fraction.

They feel much better, much different.

They can tell you they have more energy and are less short of breath.

If I had the opportunity to use a quadripolar lead all the time,

it would be my number one option.
