How important is the right to privacy? - Duration: 7:49.
This video serves to shed light on the subject of privacy.
A topic which my team and I strongly believe needs to be taken more seriously around the
globe as it affects every nation and every corner of society.
It is an issue which we believe has not been talked about enough and this video serves
to be our outcome for our Team Project for Global Perspectives IGCSE 2018.
In order to maximise the number of people who would be able to understand and receive our message
Mandarin subtitles are available for this video, as well as Bahasa Malaysia.
To view subtitles in Malay, Mandarin as well as English, press the captions button and
pick the appropriate language down below.
So what is privacy?
Well, privacy is actually a fundamental human right established and recognised by the United
Nations declarations of Human Rights as well as international covenant of civil and political
rights and many other regional and international treaties.
So therefore basically almost every country in the world has some sort of guaranteed to
the right of privacy, in the constitution or under their laws, however the extent of
which your privacy is protected differs from country to country, and we'll dive deeper
into that further in the video.
To learn and observe what people think of privacy and their knowledge on the issue,
we created a survey and received over 100 responses.
We will be displaying the relevant survey responses throughout this video.
Here, you can see that the biggest proportion of participants were under 18, but there are
decent amounts of people from every age group allowing us to see responses from a wide age
range and see how that would affect results.
And here you see we have about equal proportions of both genders, and lastly although most
participants are locals, we do have responses from people of other nationalities and backgrounds.
The importance of privacy is a topic that has divided many people over the past few
decades, eventhough privacy is now classified as a human right, whether or not it is worthy
of being a law in many countries is still a topic of discussion.
We won't try to alter your opinion in our presentation but we still think it is incredibly
important that people know how protected their privacy is and who access to their information.
To get a general idea of our respondents' stand points, we first asked how important
privacy was to them.
As you can see on screen right now, around 75% of participants said that privacy was
very important while about 20% said it was somewhat important, these results quite closely
mirror our predicted results and with the digital age beginning, and cyber crime running
more rampant than ever, it just goes to show how crucial it is that people know how protected
their privacy is and who has access to their information.
The second question we asked was how satisfied our respondents were with the protection of
their privacy.
We got an unexpected result, our forecast predicted that at least 2/3 of respondents
would be satisfied with how protected their privacy was but surprisingly 60%were unhappy
with their protection level.
With such a large amount of unsatisfied people it only further supports the argument that
individuals should have control their own privacy.
After that we asked our respondents of their opinions on how much of their data are to
be guarded.
This was to indirectly gage the thoughts of respondents on how much privacy should be
sacrificed in exchange for security.
Over half of our participants said that even things such as their search history and purchases
should be kept private, while a considerate amount- about 1/4 were willing to give up
all but the most valuable information such as bank details and passwords.
A controversial topic regarding privacy is that of targeted advertising.
The general public has mix feelings about the utilisation of personal information to
gain an advantage in marketing, and there are convincing arguments on both sides.
In this slide we asked if our respondents knew of this exploitation to which only 10%
were ignorant.
We then enquired whether our participants were comfortable with said usage of their
data for advertising, to which a vast majority of 72% said no, and about 20% said that it
was circumstantial.
This enforces the rights of individual to dictate their own conditions for use of their
information as usage for information for targeted advertising without consent is still being
done, eventhough only a little over 5% of people are okay with it.
Whenever the topic of privacy is brought up, the big debate between security or privacy
arises.
Now theoretically, if the government holds personal data of every individual of the country,
they can prevent future threats for example terrorism.
However a lot of people think that this is too big of a price to pay because there have
been information and questions out there about the government misusing and abusing such private
data and the formation of a surveillance state, as this can be used against political opponents
and to oppress the people.
We believe that more people should be aware of this discussion and you as well should
decide how much of your privacy should be compromised, and why?
In this slide, we wanted to enquire how our respondents felt about the legal side of privacy,
we wanted to know if they thought the higher-ups should hold some sort of responsibility when
it came to such a personal matter.
The results astonished us a over 95% of participants thought that bringing the government to the
never ending debate of personal information security was a necessity.
And finally, correlating with our earlier results, not to mention various events throughout
history, a vast majority of 3/4 thought it made sense for the government to keep its
nose out of personal matters and keep at it in the region of issues on a more national
scale.
This does illustrate a consistent trend in the results throughout our data.
It is however important to mention that 25% of people were willing to trade privacy for
security.
This does indicate a significant minority which favours security over privacy, matching
the debates going on worldwide, with no one party overwhelmingly drowning out the other.
We hope that these results and this presentation as whole may act as a gateway for you to further
explore and inform yourself about this matter which is only going to become more and more
relevant every single day.
With that we've discussed about the importance of privacy and what it is as well as the debate
between privacy versus security, and I hope that after seeing this video you go back with
more understanding on this issue as my team and I made this video and this project in
order to spread awareness and to spread more understanding on this important issue.
We don't want to make the decision for you, as we try to be unbiased as possible, we want
you to come to this video as a gateway, as an eye-opener to the issue of privacy, and
we will link, in the description below, videos as well as sources to where you can read up
more about privacy and where you can make your own decision whether privacy is important
to you or maybe it's something that you can sacrifice.
We thank you for watching this video, and we hope that you go back with a much better
understanding and that you use this as a starting point to further develop your awareness and
your knowledge on privacy.
If you know anyone that will benefit from watching this video, please do share and like the video. Thank you.

is this THE WORST fast food in AMERICA?! - Duration: 16:19.
Hi guys, it's only your favourite skinny legends, yep here we are we are just leaving our apartment in
New Jersey where are we going? White... Castle yes White Castle, I always say White
City and Joel's like it's Castle because White City is a place in London that we
go to all the time yeah for like 'Laptop Club' let's go there and see if it's the worst food in
America yeah we'll see lots of you've been saying they're called sliders
because they slide in and slide straight back out again, I feel physically sick, like I'm not actually feeling that good today stomach-wise
and I'm not gunna know if my tummy is gonna hurt because of this or because I'm already not
feeling great well we'll see this is the perfect day to do White Castle then
it'll flush it out of you probably! If anyone's gonna get food poisoning it's gonna be me, it's gunna be Lia.
I'm unlucky, everything's broken this whole holiday, yesterday I said to
Lia about her always being the ill person and then five minutes later she
was like hang on now you say it, I do think I'm starting to feel ill, like no you're
not oh no I am actually feeling a bit unwell, yeah today you are. But yeah it's true, classic Lia, what were we lying about?
we were like- no let's not say, no we're not saying that okay bye!
So, this is where we live we've just come out of our building these skinny legends are on the
way to White Castle bear in mind yeah we walk past this every single day since we've arrived yeah so we
walk to the gym this way and every single day we walk past White Castle yeah and
we see three dollars for a slider fries and a drink and we're
like that looks delicious yeah we genuinely think it looks quite nice, and good value. And the queue is round the whole thing
there's always a queue for drive-through what I find weird about this place is lots of
American restaurants look like this but there's usually like five or six of them
this is literally just one White Castle no other restaurants nearby. Joel? This is the first time we've ever left the house with a
bit more - yeah it's cold today, it's been so hot, today is cold I'm wearing a hoodie Lia's wearing
a jacket, I didn't get any use out of this.
Well here we are. I'm thrilled, I'm over the moon. Here we are,
White Castle how do we get in? Oh are those steps there? Shall we just cut through? Shall we just go on the grass
let's be rebels/ballers
sorry White Castle would you guys rather wear a white White Castle hat? or a triggered hat? Or a Skinny
Legend hat? right so we've ordered we're waiting for them to shout Lia but they
spelt it wrong. Lea. For anyone who knows me will know that's actually close to my legal name. Half of your legal name. Half of it, I saw it
comes with a coffee I said can I switch that out for tea?
and I was pleasantly surprised she said hot tea? and I said yeah! yeah bang on the
money babe, not iced tea! I wonder what the tea will be? Everywhere we go I've
been getting the tea we just can't get at home. So we'll see. Are you triggered? Yeah. I'd say so far, service
out of 10 is a 3. yeah I ordered I didn't realise you order by number so I
said can I have chicken and waffles does it come with a drink? and she was like no.
and I was like but the picture there, number 12, shows that and she was like oh you mean
number 12 and I was like sorry sorry bitch. Joking,
I didn't say that I was like oh sorry I didn't realise you have to order by
numbers! He was extremely polite, very very polite. But i was triggered. Anyway
yeah just waiting for our name's to be called out I'm so excited for my food it looks so
nice. Is that my name?
Just go and ask!
Lia's just left her hat and her bag but doesn't that look so arty skinny legend
cap at Targus bag. They do have Wi-Fi which automatically earns them like two
or three extra points. It's all kicking off at the counter, coz there's no drinks in the machine, what am I gunna do about my DC? Everyone's saying "is there no coke in the machine?" there's nothing going on and she mumbled
something under her breath, I couldn't understand
no ones got proper drinks I need my DC. So service so far, on drinks, zero out of ten. But I have given them a few extra points because
they have got Wi-Fi, congratulations White City - Castle. Did it again. Course she did.
they are currently hiring so it's something I am considering I would love
to flip burgers like honestly I just think it'd be so fun just like making
sliders you know those video games that you
have in your phone where you own a fast food chain and you're like making all
these orders I think it'd be so much fun obviously I can't I'm not in this
country and I've got a job making videos on the internet but if I didn't
I do think making food for other people would just be the dream.
I thought to myself could I be imagining this and on the menu it says
amazing plant based, so they've got a vegan option, thought
that's incredible that White Castle are doing vegan options and then it says with smoked
cheese and there's melted cheese all over it.
well they do do vegetarian options so it's probably referring to that. Someone online said the
vegetarian option is vile so ... well I'm so glad I didn't go for that. it's taking a long time and we've got a train to catch in exactly
30 minutes if we miss that it's game over
yeah they need to hurry up. Also this place was empty when we arrived
now it's full of people. Influencers! They've forgotten about us, someone just asked me for the receipt and everyone behind me in the queue has been served and the other employee behind her was like "what's her order?"
and she kept saying 2 number 12's but that's wrong, and I was like "I think it's-" and she was like "gimme the receipt". It's literally empty
there's a few people but it's like it's not like they're busy no don't accept no
for an answer, it's because we're British they hate Brits. We've noticed since we've been
here that people have one of two reactions some Americans love Brits
and they're like oh my gosh they melt when they hear our accent and they just
want to talk and they want to help and there's the others that hate us and
they're like who are you why do you speak funny like they think - I dunno what they think
but they just don't really like us so I think this is one of those
places. Lia's got ketchup on her
leg. I just stood on ketchup. Look!
on my lovely trainers. She thinks you've got a coffee.
I didn't order coffee! Well it's too late now, she said coffee and I said it's a Diet Coke and she went it's a coffee.
is it on the receipt, they took the receipt away
from me now all I've got is the card receipt. I said Diet Coke and there's no napkins. Gunna have to use this one.
this is awful, well I mean this is turning out well for the video
because... omg this is disgusting. Okay this is awful so far, we ordered at 1.20pm
and it is now 1.41pm so it's been 21 minutes for fast food we're gonna miss our train our
train is in 20 minutes
what now? gimme that triggered hat I should wearing it. That is the most disgusting thing I've tasted in my life
What is it? Just a tea? is that the tea bag there? That shouldn't be called tea. what is it? dirt water? that's literally
drinking puddle that's a hot puddle. we came here we thought the title could be
something like "is this the worst fast food in America?" thinking it's not going
to be it's going to be fine, no now it's called "you've ruined our plans, we've missed our train, waited 25 minutes still don't have food"
so that's the title of this video. "When we missed our train because we tried to get FAST FOOD!"
this is the slowest, we got served quicker in Olive Garden, the slowest fast food in America! Wait did they shout my name? Probably not. No probably not. everyone else's name.
I think I want my money back. It was only seven dollars I've just said about the time we ordered
at 1.20pm... right I'm gunna go tell them. Yeah go on, go tell her.
So apparently this is taking ages because they're favouring the drive-thru
not people in here and now everyone's kicking off its great, at least it's not just us
kicking off I thought it's because they hated us posh Brits but
it's not it's because they hate everyone who sits in, we should've just
walked through the drive-thru no ice thank you what luxury Lia
waiting on me hand and foot
Unavailable! Great. what other diet ones? zeros fine yeah
Unavailable! Great Flavoured water? no, nothing with sugar
Congratulations, what time is it now? it's 1.49pm we ordered at 1.20pm you
made all of them laugh when you were like "I'll come back in 10 hours"
so no Diet Coke for me just puddle water for both of us. Right what have you got? what is that?
okay they favour the drive-thru this is why- this has taken 40 minutes no about 30.
about a half an hour to make that. God forbid any of us want ketchup it's not gunna happen. Another
woman was really sweetly sticking up for White Castle, I was like "this is the worst place
I've been to in America" she's like you've gotta try another one I was like
no this is the first and last White Castle. Unless White Castle see this and want to make it up to us. Is this
a joke? oh that's mine no they're both the same
really? I ordered a waffle! so did I, I think. That's tiny, one of them's bacon
I thought American portions were supposed to be massive. It stinks. It does stink. It stinks.
What's that? so yours has just got an egg and nothing in it I ordered a chicken oh my
gosh just an egg oh that's bacon that's mine then. Where's my chicken? that's your
chicken apparently. There's no chicken in that!
I ordered chicken and waffles oh my gosh I don't even want - I just want to to chuck it in their faces.
and walk out. I don't think we should touch it
personally. We have to have a bite, otherwise what's the point in the video! I'm not wasting calories on this!
well
they're actually alright.
Next! This is not what I ordered! Are they dumb, are they thick? It's stone cold. Ready?
1,2,3.
it'd be better with a diet coke to wash it down with. Okay it's not as bad as I
thought. It taste quite honey-ish! It's covered in sweet stuff!
But that shouldn't have taken forty minutes okay hang on.
it's not bad, it's just not what I ordered! yeah it's not what we ordered, well that
is apparently what I ordered isn't it. I thought you wanted an actual burger, not the waffles.
Burger. Bacon. well congrats White Castle for getting everything wrong, I hope we don't end
up on the loo! Do you want a bite of mine? Do you want a bite of mine?
what is that? beef? sausage. sausage yeah whatever that is.
Well we've missed the train for a crappy waffle
I mean the reason I wanted a waffle as well was because I've never heard this where you
replace a bread roll with a waffle she just kept saying your
breakfast menu - that we're ordering from the breakfast menu. Incorrect.
That's triggering. I don't wanna touch my Skinny Legend hat now with my greasy fingers. So greasy!
Trouble is I'm hungry, so that's why I'm eating this rubbish! Let's see what time it is.
it's in seven minutes. We could run it. well we could be there in seven minutes couldn't we?
I feel sick already I just did one of those burps that feels like you're gunna be sick
Thumbnail.
Awful. Awful. This is just ruining my body. I know this is just self-sabotage what we're doing
ooo a burnt one! No, no.
just pure batter. Why am I doing... why am I doing that? I think it's coz they pump it
full of addictive substances so you can't stop but slide it into your mouth
Here's my empty because there's no diet coke, no coke zero, no nothing. Machines not working
one thing they did say is that we can go up to the counter and ask for them
to fill it up manually so I said I'll come back in ten hours
I'm gonna go back and ask.
Puddle water, cheers everyone! I feel so sorry for myself.
just waiting patiently for someone to give him a diet coke, give the boy a diet coke
absolutely outrageous come on look he's losing it he's lost his mind
he's so polite we made friends with that family over there
so finally got my coke, diet coke before you all preach at me! took about yeah
like you said ten hours we've missed our train so I'm finding out when the next one
is. We arrived here about 40 minutes ago
Why is it it's like every time we try to go to Hoboken to go to Carlos
Bakery, something stops us like the weather stopped us the first time
It was like throwing it down. That's what I keep thinking now I'm like should we go? Maybe it's a sign, I don't think we should go. Maybe we should go to South Orange
well guys um it's been an absolute pleasure to come to White Castle
based on your recommendations OR your warnings RIP Joel and Lia
I don't think we'll be coming back ever again it wasn't worth
the 780 calories I've just eaten. How on earth have they pumped 780 calories into that tiny little waffle burger and the hash browns
so you might think I'm gonna be really healthy today that's literally like more
than half of your allowance gone if you're a woman, or a man! Instant regret.
yeah it's nearly half of my allowance for the day. Yeah it's just over a third of my allowance for the day.
so cool great anyway Wow we're miserable now, so let's just cheer it back up a little
bit by saying um....what is there left to say.... we've still got each other we've got
our lives. Joel's looking lovely in his new Adidas. Absolutely lovely. Can't believe I didn't compliment you
earlier no it's okay darling. Lia's looking lovely in her
pajamas. Yeah someone went "nice PJs" I was thinking it's a cool print guys I'm just trying to introduce some like
style and get called pajamas, I'm triggering too many people clearly.
every time I put it on I think pajamas! No you're doing something
right. Zoella wears that as well so I wore it first, and then we saw it in her vlog
and we were like Zoe's copying Lia. Alright, thanks for watching guys, we hope you enjoyed,
don't forget to subscribe we post videos thrice weekly and yeah we'll see you soon! Bye!
that was the worst food we've had in our life yeah that was not worth the calories
It wasn't worth the time energy effort the walk here the calories oh my gosh
the seven dollars seven dollars to be fair it was only five pounds in English money
that's true yeah okay okay

Spirograph is a toy for development. I show how to draw on a spirograph - Duration: 3:26.
Hello everyone, you're on the Origami Cat channel.
Today I will introduce you to a children's toy spirograph.
Who likes these toys - like.
I ordered it on the website Aliexpress.
Who wants to buy, a reference to
I will leave spirographs in the description under the video.
This plastic spirograph is made
form of a hare. Do you guys see a turtle here?
I count to five, who during this time saw a turtle,
write below the video. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5!
I suggest: we look at the tail.
Yes, if you look closely from the tail, then
can see the turtle. Here is a hare
tortoise spirograph.
Inside the toy are two circles in which you can
to form drawings. And below there is a ruler.
Includes 5 different wheels with holes.
On the first wheel hole shaped berries.
On the next - the head of the animal.
Guys, who do you think it is, a wolf or a pig?
Write under the video. On the next wheel
human hieroglyph. A cross is visible at 4,
on 5 geometric shapes.
Note that the gear wheels.
Also like the edges of the circles.
The size and shape of the wheels are different, as well as
hole locations.
This means you can get a lot
interesting shapes. How to draw using spirograph?
I will put a plate on a sheet of paper, inside the circle
put the selected wheel in one of the holes
I will insert a color core and I will twist
wheel in a circle. Here it is important to keep
tight spirograph to make it beautiful.
I'll take another rod, put it in the same point and
continue drawing. Such a figure, obtained with
using a spirograph and two circles
called hypotrochoid. Now I will draw more
several gipotrohoid and show you. Like these ones
I got the drawings from the first time.
What gives this intricate toy to children?
She answers the question: how to get such
spirals, stimulates imagination and creativity,
contributes to the development of accuracy
stimulates the use of different colors and
find new forms.
Also spirograph can draw
a hare and a turtle.
It's enough to circle spirograph
pencil and color it. I think it's good
opportunity for development.

Sea level rise is so much more than melting ice - Duration: 6:09.
- So, we do lots of climate and environment stories,
and we've run up against one concept
all the time, sea level rise.
This probably isn't news to you,
but as the planet warms the average sea level is rising,
and it's threatening coastal populations around the world.
But we got tripped up by one thing.
Here in New York, the sea level is rising
one and a half times as fast as the global average.
And we thought, how is that possible?
How are different parts of the ocean at different heights?
So we did what we always do, we called an expert.
- Yes, I'm Dr. Andrea Dutton, and I work at the Department
of Geological Sciences at the University of Florida.
- And instead of that call clearing things up,
it got so much weirder, so we're going to use
New York City as an example, and explore sea level rise.
Because honestly, it made us see
the whole planet differently.
(electronic music)
So the big picture here starts with climate change.
Temperatures are on the rise, and that does
a couple global things to the oceans.
- As you warm up the planet, we're going
to melt a lot of the ice that's sitting on land,
so the large ice sheets as well as
the smaller mountain glaciers that go into the ocean.
And you're going to heat the ocean as a whole,
which causes that water to expand,
and that causes some amount of sea level rise as well.
- The easy analogy is pouring water into a bathtub.
Turn on the faucet and the water level in the tub rises.
But don't get too attached to that comparison.
- Sea level rise is not like turning on the faucet
to a bathtub and watching the water rise at a uniform rate.
So it turns out that if, on the surface of the ocean today,
the surface is not perfectly flat,
there's a topography to the ocean surface.
- That's one reason you can have more sea level rise
in New York, oceans just aren't flat.
There are hills and valleys of water out there.
Seriously, look at this topographic map
of the ocean surface.
There are a few reasons for this, first...
- Well turns out gravity is some of the problem, right?
So if you have large ice sheets, or even large
masses of continents and land, right,
all that mass can attract the water to it.
- The Earth's mass is not evenly spread around.
It's a patchwork of continents, ice sheets,
and other huge masses, and those masses exert
a gravitational pull on everything around them, even water.
In Antarctica for example, there's so much ice
that its gravity actually pulls ocean water towards it,
raising the sea level around the continent.
But, as the ice in Antarctica melts,
its mass shrinks, and its gravitational pull weakens.
Which means the sea level goes down near Antarctica,
but rises up as far away as New York instead.
Another big cause of ocean topography are currents.
And currents are driving up the sea level in New York too.
One of the dominant currents in
the Atlantic is the Gulf Stream.
Andrea describes it like a conveyor belt,
continually moving water away from the East Coast
and up across the Atlantic, where it releases
its heat and sinks to form deep water.
The sinking action keeps the conveyor belt moving,
but melting glaciers are a factor here too.
As the ice melts, lots of fresh water
gets added to the current.
That lowers the density of the water,
prevents it from sinking as readily,
and jams up the whole Gulf Stream conveyor belt.
- As the Earth continues to warm, we expect this rate
of water moving north to slow down,
we expect the conveyor belt to slow down.
And as you do that, you'll be piling up water,
literally, against the East Coast of the US.
- So the actual amount of water amassed
on a coastline can change from place to place.
But there's one other big cause of sea level rise
that has nothing to do with water, and that's land.
- So the thing about sea level
is it's always relative to land.
- If coastal land sinks, the relative sea level
there will rise, and vice versa.
Land can move up or down for all sorts of reasons.
Shifting tectonic plates in California,
for example, can cause uplift there.
- So as land rises, if this is the ocean, and the land
is rising up, sea level is falling along that coastline.
- Whereas parts of Louisiana are sinking.
The Mississippi River is dumping so much sediment there
that the land is compressing under the weight of it all.
The land under New York is sinking too,
but it's a little more complicated.
- And I anticipated this question.
The best way to do this is with
a picture, so I have a picture for you.
(laughs)
I could have gotten up with my whiteboard,
but my whiteboard's a mess, so I'm not gonna do that.
Okay, so.
- [Cory] Andrea's picture didn't come through great
on video chat, so here's a reproduction.
Basically 20,000 years ago, New York sat right
on the edge of a huge ice sheet.
It was the end of the last ice age,
and the weight of the ice pushed down
on the Earth's mantle underneath it.
So much in fact that it forced some
of the Earth out past the edge,
which pushed that land up.
New York City's land sat on that peripheral bulge.
- You can think of this as if, when you go home
and sit down on your couch, the same thing happens, right?
- [Cory] Picture what happens to the cushion
when you sit on it, the middle gets smooshed, but the edges?
- [Andrea] It pushes out to the sides, right,
'cause that's the only place it can go.
- But, the climate actually began warming
about 20,000 years ago, the ice started melting
and the whole process reversed itself.
- [Andrea] And then when you stand up, what happens?
It relaxes again back into it's natural position.
- And today 20,000 years later, the land underneath New York
is still slowly sinking, so the sea level is rising.
Humans didn't cause this, it's a 100,000 year process.
So, there you have it, New York City's sea level
is a product of warming oceans, melting glaciers,
Antarctic gravity, Atlantic conveyor belts,
and the world's largest couch cushion analogy.
Measuring sea level rise means a complex accounting
of all of these factors and more.
Andrea says scientists understand these concepts
really well, what they're less sure of is the future.
What happens if all CO2 we put in the air heats

Kate Middleton Is Back from Maternity Leave — with a New Haircut and Old Boots! - Duration: 2:39.
Kate Middleton is back to royal business! The royal mom returned to her royal duties on Tuesday when she visited a school in London
Kate, 36, took a short two-mile drive from her home at Kensington Palace to a recreation ground in Paddington, London, to spend time with local school children and learn how getting their hands dirty in a wildlife garden and outdoor learning helps with their wellbeing
Sporting a new hairstyle (slightly shorter and more layered), Kate dressed casually for the outdoor event in an olive green sweater and matching jacket, light brown skinny jeans and her trusty tassel boots, her go-tos for the last 14 years
The mom of three, who has been on maternity leave since welcoming Prince Louis in April, joined in on a school session and heard from instructors and teachers about how being around nature can help children's mental health and development
The Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden, at Paddington Recreation Ground, aims to involve children and the local community in the environment and provide outdoor activity facilities for those who otherwise wouldn't get to experience them
Princess Kate – who has spoken about growing potatoes in her own vegetable patch – was also shown an edible garden that helps inspire kids in their outdoor activities
Although she had been on leave from royal duties, Kate has attended several formal royal family events, such as the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Trooping the Colour, Louis' royal christening, as well as enjoying time with her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at polo and equestrian events
Kate also visited the Wimbledon tennis tournament with sister-in-law Meghan, 37, and also helped marshal George, 5, and Charlotte, 3, who served in the bridal party at the recent wedding of her close friend, Sophie Carter
Kate is expected to undertake various engagements through the fall and up until Christmas before resuming a fuller schedule of engagements in the New Year

14 Signs Someone Is Fake Rich & Disingenuous - Duration: 4:47.
These are my top 14 things it's a lot that people do that are fake wealthy
number one they're more worried about the brand of something than the quality
so they want to know that that's that's it that's a fancy brand but they don't
necessarily care about the quality they just want the label so I find again this
is something that I I've experienced this is not based on behavioral science
is based on my own experience number two people that are the fake rich or fake
wealthy they do a lot of name-dropping so they throw names out there like I
know so-and-so I know Warren Buffett whatever but they're not it's just fake
number three people that are not genuine with wealth or with health they
constantly are trying to validate themselves through impressing other
people they don't just put their nose to the grindstone and work their goal is to
impress other people it's not to really do a quality job number four people that
are our fake and disingenuous wealthy that fake the fake wealth they always
talk about money how they have money so we wrote real wealth and influence
people that have that they don't talk about it you'll hear people that have
fake wealth just constantly posting on their
Instagram the car they rented or the house that they stayed in through Airbnb
or whatever so they're trying to just have a perception number five is that
the fake wealthy they they often brag number six the the fake affluent people
always have to try to one-up someone so they're trying to compare themselves to
their neighbors and they're constantly and it doesn't really just have to do
with wealth I'm gonna make that point people that are just not true to
themselves and they're just not genuine the people that are didn't disingenuous
they they always have to one-up someone else so if you get something they have
to go get they say have something that's better
said just being happy and grateful for what they have number seven the
disingenuous people or fake people have really fancy titles they might have like
a million letters after the name and really fancy titles number eight fake
people worry more about their image than they do on making sure they pay
themselves so in other words putting away for your family putting away too to
make sure the people that you love are happy they tend to worry more about the
image and they don't save anything for the people they love number nine um
the fake rich have fake rich friends they surround themselves around people
that are not genuine they just want to flex or appear to have certain things
they doll and they surround herself around fake people number ten
there was a line by Jay Z that they they don't really pay up when needed I really
like that quote by Jay Z everybody is is a boss to us time to pay for the office
everyone's a boss until it's time to pay so I thought that was a shout out to Jay
Z on that one that's legit rich people or inauthentic people they
they really dressed fancy they were really fancy shirts and really expensive
cufflinks and things they appear to be expensive but they work for someone
who's in t-shirts and jeans number twelve the fake wealthier and
disingenuous people they go with the latest fad whatever's trending is kind
of what they go along with they have FOMO or the fear of missing out number
thirteen the fake wealthy often have a car that's disproportionately way more
expensive than their home or and they're paying a lot for the image rather than
what they need to do to take care of things at home number fourteen the fake
wealthy and disingenuous people they flex on social media all the time so
basically they get tangible things and put them on their Instagram on their
Facebook and their goal is to accumulate things
and show the world and genuine people or people that maybe really have affluence
they want experiences there are my top 14 things that I've experienced that
fake wealthy people do

Are you trying to decide which app to use to run a click and tracks for your worship
ministry?
On this video, I'm going to give you a side by side comparison with Prime by Loop Community
and Playback by Multitracks.com.
I'm gonna walk you through the pros and cons of each of these really powerful and easy
to use iOS apps and hopefully by the end of this video, you'll have a much clearer understanding
of which one is the best fit for your worship ministry coming up.
This video's brought to you by Worship Leader School, where you're gonna find all the essential
training, advice and support you need to plan and lead worship.
Click the link in the description to learn more.
If we haven't met yet, my name's Jake Gosselin.

content to help you grow yourself and grow your church.
The two most popular apps that are being used by worship bands to run a click and tracks
in worship are Prime by Loop Community and Playback by Multitracks.com.
Of course, when I refer to app, I'm talking about apps that run on mobile devices and
iOS devices specifically, like an iPad or an iPhone.
I personally use Ableton Live to run a click, tracks and automate lighting and lyrics in
our worship gatherings at the church plant where I lead, but Prime and Playback, while
they might not have the power and capability of Ableton Live, they sure can accomplish
a whole lot for your worship band.
It can be hard to know which of these two apps is the best choice for your ministry.
So on the rest of this video, I'm gonna walk you through all the criteria that you need
to be thinking about and all the pros and cons of these two apps that help you really
understand which one is best for your context.
I believe that both of these apps are super powerful, super user friendly and a great
fit for a lot of worship ministries.
It really comes down to your own personal preferences when it comes to the user design
as well as which ecosystem do you want to be in.
Before I dive in, let me know below in the comments which one of these two apps are you
using at your church or have you been dabbling in, and let me know why you chose one over
the other.
Let's go ahead and dive into this comparison.
First, let's talk about price.
So, the Prime app is free.
It's really hard to beat free, right?
All you have to do is go to the app store, press the download button and, bam, you have
that free app either on your iPad, iPhone or even Mac laptop.
Playback, on the other hand, starts out as free but in order to unlock all the features
that Prime has, which is already free, you have to pay at least a five or six dollar
a month subscription for Prime.
With the free version of Playback, you get a lot of the essential functions that you
need, like being able to build the set list of songs, being able to mix your songs, have
some transitions.
All that really basic stuff, but you have to pay in order to be able to have the midi
mapping feature, to be able to loop song sections, to have a dynamic guide queue, and to be able
to route audio to different buses for an external audio device.
All of those things, Prime does for free.
Since for this video I want to compare these two apps at their best, I went ahead and subscribed
to the six dollar a month premium version of Playback.
While it's kind of a pain you have to pay for Playback versus it's free for Prime, in
the end, what you get in Playback, I think it's worth six dollars a month.
Prime could be charging the same or more for their app as well.
It's totally up to those two companies, what they want to charge for it, but six dollars
a month, it's like the price of a latte once a month.
It's not very much.
Next, let's talk about the platforms these apps are available on.
Both apps run on iOS devices like an iPad or an iPhone, but Prime can also run on Mac
OS which can be really great if you rather build your sets and work on a full laptop,
a Mac laptop rather than doing everything on an iPad or iPhone.
Playback, on the other hand, does not have a Mac OS version of its app.
Next, let's talk about the user experience of each of these apps.
This criteria, I believe, is completely up to personal preference, but I'll show you
what they look like side by side.
So, here we have the Prime app and I'm a big fan of this layout.
On the left side of the screen, you see all of our tracks.
I don't have to scroll around to see the different tracks and on the right side I see my set
list of songs.
Then when I have a song selected, I see the whole song on the top portion of the app from
beginning to end, and I can even zoom in to see if it's just the song sections.
A little bit closer up I like being able to just see where the play head is over the course
of the whole song.
Then on the bottom right you have your controls like play, stop, fade out, go to next song.
You can easily transpose a song or change the tempo as well.
Now we're looking at the Playback app.
The user interface is a little different.
Starting at the top, that's where you have your transport controls, a play, fade out,
the back button.
I like having those controls at the top.
It's my own personal preference.
I feel like it's common in digital audio workstations.
Then below that you have your set lists of songs laid out horizontally.
You could see what your transitions are in between each song and then below that, whatever
song you have selected, you'll see the audio file of the song laid out horizontally in
a timeline.
You'll also see a grid that denotes the different bars and beats within a song.
Then underneath that, you have your mixer for your tracks, and then on the bottom right
you have some buttons for looping and also to control your master volume.
When comparing this user interface to Prime, the thing I don't like about Playback is I
don't like having to scroll through the song timeline like this.
I like how in Prime you can view the whole timeline at once, and then I also am not a
huge fan of having to scroll through my different tracks to see them.
So, that's the thing.
I think in Prime it's easier to quickly get to where you need to go to control things,
but when it comes to this user interface, it really depends on your personal preference.
Now let's talk about the most common task that you're gonna be trying to accomplish
within these apps.
So, the first portion is building out your set list of songs.
In both apps, it only takes seconds to find a song within your loop community count or
Multitracks.com account, and load them into the playlist.
In both apps, it's really easy to import songs.
It only takes a few seconds to import your tracks from your Loop Community account or
your Multitracks.com account.
It's also equally just as easy in each of the apps to edit your set list.
You can edit the order of songs, so you can do it that way in the Prime app, or if you're
in the Playback app, you just hit the edit button here and then you can start clicking
and dragging your songs around into different orders.
In both apps you can also add songs in that contain just a click track.
Maybe you didn't want to buy multitracks for a particular song, or you can have a click
in pads, and I love doing that.
I love having click in pads in between certain songs in my set list.
That kind of allows me to engage the congregation and just still keep that ambient atmosphere
feel supporting us and supporting the band.
It's also really easy to edit song arrangements in both of these apps, so you can easily add
song sections.
You can delete song sections.
That's what it looks like in the Playback app and then in the Prime app, same thing.
So, go to edit song, edit arrangement, and then here I can just hold down the different
sections.
I can drag them around.
When I double click on a section, I can delete that section or I can add a new section right
after it.
Both apps, editing arrangements, basically the same functionality.
Now let's talk about the transitions feature.
This is a very important features, and both of these apps have come a long way in adding
this functionality so that you can have some nice, smooth transitions between songs.
So, in both apps, you could have it so it'll automatically go to the next song once you've
done a song or you can also cross fade songs so it'll fade out song A and it'll fade in
song B and kind of cross fade that and make it sound nice and smooth, or you can just
overlap the end of song A with the beginning of song B, and it's not gonna fade out either
of these parts but it's just gonna simply overlap them and that also sounds really smooth
in a lot of cases.
One thing that the Prime app does that the Playback app doesn't do is this feature where
it'll just keep playing the click track once you've done a song.
So, if you have it on that little icon right there, what's gonna happen if I go to the
end of this song?
Three, four ...
It's not gonna go to the next song.
It's just gonna keep that click going at 110 beats per minute, so you can see the play
head gets to the end of the song and just keeps going.
I think this is a really handy feature especially if you just wanted to kind of vamp, have some
spontaneous moments.
It's really powerful to have that.
Let's talk a little bit more about the click tracks for each of the apps.
So, in Prime you can go to the gear icon on top right and you can select your click sound.
I really like the digital sound.
Not a big fan of the default sound, and then you can add in subdivisions, so I like having
eighth notes in there to subdivide the beat.
It really helps our band stay on time and I wish these click settings were global, like
that it would apply to all songs, but I realize as I started changing the settings, I had
to go through and change it for each song, which is kind of a pain.
But in the Playback app underneath the click sounds section, whenever you select a different
sound, that will actually apply to all the songs.
It's a global setting within the app.
One key difference between these two apps is how quickly you can change the key of a
song and the tempo of a song within the app.
So, in the Prime app it's actually really quick and easy to do.
I can even be playing a song ...
[crosstalk 00:09:35] Two, three, four ...
... and I can alter the tempo down here, or I can change the key as well, whereas in the
Playback app, if I go to the settings of the song and I go to key, I'll select a new key.
Then I have to press "update."
It has to download new files for that song, and it takes a few minutes to do that.
So, if you ever plan on having to change the key on a fly during band rehearsal and you're
using Playback, just make sure you know it's gonna take a minute or two or three for it
to do this.
The Playback app, what I think is happening is it's actually downloading new audio stems
into the app and switching them out with the old one.
That's what I guess is happening in this process, and maybe there are some advantages to the
way they do this in Playback by actually replacing the audio files.
Maybe there's not as much warping going on so you'll have a better, cleaner sound with
the transposed files.
The next feature I want to compare with these two apps is the control that you have while
you're playing through the songs during worship.
Again, these apps are very similar when it comes to this feature set.
I'm gonna go ahead and play this song here in Prime and a couple cool things you can
do, you can hit the loop button.
Hit it the first time.
It's just gonna loop once and then go through the end, but if you hit it again, it will
just keep looping it infinitely.
I'm gonna go ahead and turn that off, I don't need it to loop right now.
Then another cool feature is that you can easily skip to different song sections, so
I'll just click on the chorus.
It's gonna jump to the chorus and it also has a dynamic guide that's gonna tell me which
section is coming up next.
Then finally I can easily fade out the tracks or I can fade them back in.
Playback's control is very similar, so I'll just select a song here.
I'll go ahead and play "Look to the Son."
If I want to jump to different song sections, I just double tap it and it's gonna be blinking.
It's saying it's queuing up that section.
It's gonna wait til it finishes the previous song section and it gives the dynamic guide
queue as well, just like the Prime app.
You can also fade out your backing tracks or fade them back in a fly, and then Playback
also has the looping functionality as well, so I can have the loop once button triggered
here and that's all it's gonna do is loop back to this section and then it will just
keep playing through the end of it, or I can turn on the infinite loop button and it'll
just keep looping that section until I disable that.
So, when it comes to controlling your tracks, jumping around, looping sections, these apps
function basically the same.
Now let's talk about some more advanced features.
When you're getting started with running a click in tracks, the most basic setup is to
put your click in guide on audio output one or the left side of the stereo output and
then put your backing tracks on audio output two or the right side of your stereo output,
but when you want to get fancy, you want to have more control over your mix at your front
of house console, you could start using multiple outputs, using like an audio interface, like
the iConnectivity audio interface are great for both of these apps.
Both apps have that same functionality where you can go in and set up the buses and what
tracks are going to which outputs.
Then the other more advanced feature that both apps has is midi functionality, so you
can trigger your songs.
You can loop songs.
All the different control features you have in here, they could be triggered by an external
MIDI device.
Let's say for example you're using like a foot switch, like the Looptimus foot pedal
or other MIDI foot controllers.
You can easily map MIDI notes to the different songs and to the different controls so you
can just control everything with your feet.
Finally I want to talk about the ecosystem for each of the apps.
This is one of the big factors that you're gonna have to side on.
Which one makes the most sense for you.
Both Multitracks.com and LoopCommunity.com, their main business is distributing and selling
the master tracks and backing tracks that we use in our worship bands, and what they've
done in building both of these apps is not only have they made it easy to play the backing
tracks you buy from them, but they also put some financial incentive in there that's gonna
make it more affordable for your worship band to build up a library of songs.
First, let's look at Multitracks.com and the ecosystem they offer.
One of the latest things that they've come up with, and it's pretty exciting for churches
that you don't have any backing tracks but you'd like to make the switch in the short
term but you also don't want to drop thousands of dollars on full backing track stems for
your worship ministry.
Multitracks has a rental program where you can rent up to 15, 20, 25 songs per month
for a relatively low monthly fee.
So let's say you have four worship services a month at your church and you do four songs
a month.
Well, with their 16 song a month plan it only costs you 60 bucks to have full backing track
stems for all those songs.
Now, the downside is that you have to use the Playback app.
You don't actually get to download the audio files onto your own computer and use them
in software like Ableton.
So that's the one big con about the rental program, but if you're just using this app,
then the rental program could work great for you.
I just want to help you think through some of these numbers.
Let's say at my church we would need at least 20 songs a month that we could rent, so that's
$75 a month, so 75 times 12, that's $900 per year to have 20 unique songs every month.
If I were to buy the master tracks for 25 songs at $39 apiece, 25 times 39, that's 975
dollars just for one month worth of songs, and of course, though, in a church setting,
we're often repeating the same songs over and over, so are we spending $975 a month
at my church right now to buy master tracks?
No.
We probably end up buying $1,000 worth a year in backing tracks, but that's because I've
been building up a library over the years, so we're not always having to buy new ones
for every song we do, every single week, but it I were just getting started and I wanted
to have backing tracks for all my songs and I knew I was just gonna use the Playback app,
then that rental program sure is really attractive, and it's gonna save you a ton of money.
Now let's talk about the Prime ecosystem.
So, when you go to LoopCommunity.com's website, you can purchase all the master tracks and
premium tracks and community tracks that they have available there, and Loop Community has
most of the master tracks for most of the songs that we use on a Sunday.
Unfortunately they don't have all the master tracks and the big one is that they don't
have the master tracks from Hillsong, like the original audio stems from the labels.
Multitracks.com apparently has exclusive rights to distribute those, but LoopCommunity.com
creates premium tracks, which they have their own professional studio musicians create those
tracks and honestly they sound identical.
Like, you can tell there's maybe a little bit of difference, but I use a lot of Loop
Community's premium tracks and the great thing about that is it's often at quite a reduced
price when you compare them to the master tracks from Multitracks.com.
Loop Community also has their community tracks which are even cheaper, which usually run
about $20 apiece.
Then Prime has also built in financial incentive for you to use the Prime app and buy your
tracks that way.
Whether you're buying the master tracks, premium tracks or the community tracks, it's usually
about $5 cheaper for you to buy the Prime version of those tracks.
The downside is you don't actually get the audio files themself.
Like if you want to start using them in Ableton, you have to buy the full multitrack stems
from their website to have that ownership of them.
Loop Community's tracks are generally less expensive than Multitracks.com's full multitrack
stems, but then Multitracks.com has that rental program which can be really attractive for
a lot of churches.
In the end, I think it comes down to what is your personal preference when it comes
to user experience?
Do you like the layout of the Prime app or do you like the layout of the playback app?
Then the second big factor is what's your overall plan when it comes to building your
backing track library?
Do you want to be in the ecosystem that Multitracks has where you can just rent songs every month
but then you never own the stems yourself or do you want to be in the Prime ecosystem
where you can, again, save money by buying the Prime tracks but not be able to use those
audio files for anything else or even just buy the full audio stems through Loop Community
and still have access to them through the Prime app?
So, the choice is yours, but I hope this side by side comparison just helps you figure out
which one is best for your worship ministry.

Cheyenne Floyd's Baby Daddy Is Cory Wharton on The Challenge | Heavy.com - Duration: 5:39.
Cheyenne Floyd's Baby Daddy Is Cory Wharton on The Challenge | Heavy.com
MTV viewers may know Cheyenne Floyd from the reality competition show Are You the One?, while others may know Cory Wharton from The Real World and MTV's The Challenge.
Well, the two had a baby together and are now appearing on the MTV hit show Teen Mom OG.
According to Reality Blurb, Wharton said that he didn't initially think he was the father of Floyd's child.
He also talked about his relationship with Floyd's boyfriend, Zach, and the possibilities of getting back together with Floyd.
Wharton admitted on The Domenick Nati Show that, "The door is never closed, right? When you have a kid with somebody that door is always open.
Me and Cheyenne are going to have to deal with each other for the rest of our lives whether we like it or not.
We have a kid together, so that door is always open but right now we just feel like she's dating Zach doing her own thing and I'm doing mine." Wharton also said he gets along well with Zach.
.
Meanwhile, Floyd says on Teen Mom OG that, "Cory is great with me when Zach and I are bad.
And Zach is good with me when Cory and I are fighting.
[…] I seriously feel like I'm going to be a single mom forever." So, it sounds like they may have a difference in opinions.
Wharton also revealed on The Domenick Nati Show that, when Floyd became pregnant with their daughter, Ryder, the two were not an item.
He explained, "We weren't really a thing at the time.
We were just having fun, hooking up.
We hooked up and after that, she started seeing someone.
That hookup turned into a baby.
We didn't think it was mine because it was only one time but it ended up being mine … My sperm went right up and created a baby and now I'm here.
I'm not mad about it at all but just use protection.".
.
According to Romper, Floyd's boyfriend, Zach, who appears on Teen Mom OG, doesn't seem to have much of a social media presence.
In addition, there aren't any photos of him on Floyd's Instagram account.
So, it's currently unknown whether or not the couple has stayed together since filming the show.
In an interview with Hollywood Life, in addition to her relationship with Zach, Floyd's co-parenting relationship with Wharton will be shown.
Floyd said she's happy to share the story of her pregnancy on Teen Mom OG, explaining that, "I think that there was a lot of questions regarding my pregnancy from the beginning when I got pregnant.
It will be interesting to now tell people what actually happened.
Everybody knows that Cory didn't find out about Ryder until she was six months and now everyone's questions will get answered as to what actually happened.".
That's right.
Wharton didn't know about his baby girl until she was six months old.
Floyd admitted that, "Cory and I get along very well.
We put Ryder first and we've worked out a beautiful co-parenting relationship.
Of course every relationship has its ups and downs but we've worked out our kinks and we're learning how to do it day by day, how to get along.
We're trying to figure it out.".
