Waching daily Sep 26 2018

The day after winning $10million at the FedEx Cup, Justin Rose began to play his priceless role in the European team room at the Ryder Cup

The week after holding aloft a trophy that was all about the money, he goes in search of another that's all about the honour

Every great Ryder Cup team needs a stoic, quietly accumulating points and leaving it to the more extrovert members to claim the glory

Rose continues a noble tradition that began with Bernhard Langer, before he gave way to Lee Westwood

Europe captain Thomas Bjorn was reluctant to divulge the specifics of a private pep talk he had with the Englishman, in which he identified a specific role he would like the world No 2 to play

It is not hard, however, to guess. Bjorn recently described Sergio Garcia as the heartbeat of the team

Continuing the analogy, Rose is the backbone. 'With the stature he has in the game, he carries a lot of weight on his shoulders,' said Bjorn

'But that's what you expect when you're the world No 2 and a major and Olympic champion

It's up to you to go out and impose yourself and Justin will do that.' As tempting as it must be to spend each evening wondering how to spend his windfall, Rose parked it to the back of his memory the moment he stepped off the plane from Atlanta

'The team have had a bit of fun at my expense, placing all their drinks on my tab and that sort of thing but for me the FedEx finished when we landed,' he said

'I enjoyed the plane ride over but once we got here I became one of 12 guys. This week is about another job to do and getting another party started on Sunday night

' Rose sounds pretty keen to get the party started come Friday morning, urging the French to be at their most passionate

'I'm interested to see what the crowd will be like,' he said. 'At Gleneagles it was a purist golf crowd but I expect this will be more of a sports crowd

I'd welcome an atmosphere that's a bit more raucous and like we face in America.' Whether at home or away, Rose has shown his mettle

It was on display at Gleneagles on a nerve-wracking opening morning when he and Henrik Stenson went out first and wiped the floor with Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson; at Medinah in 2012 on that unforgettable Sunday afternoon, when he holed a tram-liner from 50ft on the 17th to draw level with Phil Mickelson, and then from 10ft at the last to beat him

When asked about the glory putt on the 17th, he preferred to dwell on the one that followed

'The first one was unbelievable and inside I wanted to cannonball across the nearby lake when it went in, but the second was the one I am most proud of,' he said

'The first one would have meant nothing if I hadn't finished the job off.' Rose will play at least four games this time and revealed he has been preparing for a heavy workload

'I think our team will prove fresher than the Americans,' said Rose. 'I've made a lot of mini decisions through the FedEx Cup to make sure I have a bit of gas in the tank and can play five games if necessary

'I've played a lot less practice rounds than I would have and I think the other experienced Europeans have done similar things

I know Henrik skipped a couple of FedEx events as did Ian Poulter. 'So I feel like we're more rested

The Americans feel they are playing their way in and that gives them the advantage, but I guess we'll see whose strategy pays off come Sunday

' Ask Rose what it's like to play in a Ryder Cup and he gives a typically thoughtful answer

'At Medinah, the captain Jose-Maria Olazabal gave us a little memento with the inscription: 'All men die, but not all men live'

'What he meant was that feeling of adrenaline and emotion you get at a Ryder Cup and it will reach a crescendo on the first tee on Friday morning

It's going to be the most incredible first tee shot I've ever hit, for sure, with the amazing grandstand behind it

' From the 18th hole money madness on Sunday to the first tee festival on Friday

Rose is certainly a man enjoying Olazabal's maxim

Why Classical Music Is Dying | The Cello Doll Story (Part II) - Duration: 3:29.

Classical music has been struggling in the past few years with being relevant to the

musical world and the people.

When it comes to going to a classical concert, I hear 3 excuses.

#1- Classical Music is Boring.

What that tells me, is classical music is very long.

I'm a musician and sometimes listening for an hour straight can be a lot.

Songs on the radio right now, they don't go over 4 1/2, 5 minutes.

And there's a lot of music out there for classical stuff but, if you have someone like me who

knows a lot of repertoire, I can pick things to match the genres you like.

#2- Classical Musicians are Stiff or Cold.

Sometimes I can see how that comes across.

When we're on stage we're very focused and, unless you run backstage after the concert,

you don't get a chance to talk to the players.

A third comment I hear is: "classical concerts are expensive and I can't afford" or "I don't

have the time to go all the way down to a hall."

But now we have something like YouTube.

My goal on this channel, is to disprove these stereotypes.

So I'm going to be creating small music videos, having classical works alongside original,

popular arrangements.

Or I might have some short videos of them on their own.

And also, being a composer, it allows me to write arrangements and show you guys what

I can really do.

So, in addition to my musical projects I'm going to be having vlogs, answering some of

your questions.

And I don't care if you've never touched an instrument, or if you've been playing for

over 20 years.

I welcome all sorts of questions about what I do.

I LOVE to talk about what I do!

That's what this whole video is about, is just me talkin'.

I also want to have personalized videos.

Some of my interests, other than music, are horror movies, mystery thrillers.

I also am a HUGE fan of Anime!

YES, I love it, I love it!

Traveling...so there will be some upcoming videos with some adventures.

A top goal on my bucket list is to travel to Japan someday.

Music is the most powerful story-teller, and I want to take my audience members on a journey.

Thank you guys so much for watching this video, and also, thank you guys for your support,

especially from my friends, family and some of my followers on Instagram!

That's right, I'm on Instagram too, and you can follow me @thecellodoll.

And if f you're interested in coming along on this crazy, musical ride with me,

hit the "like" button, subscribe, and I hope you guys want to see what happens next.
