Obama Forced To Leave Washington Once And For All - Duration: 10:49.

Obama Forced To Leave Washington Once And For All

Even CNN can't hide the truth about the illegal immigrant crisis any longer.

In 2014, back when Barack Obama was president, numbers of migrant children making the illegal

border crossing were surging.

They were likely emboldened to come because the Democrats' were broadcasting both an

open borders policy and mercy for those breaking our immigration laws.

Children who crossed the border illegally, whether they were with a parent or not, were

kept in housing facilities to wait until they got their day in court.

At the time, no one in the liberal media said a word.

They were more preoccupied with reporting on Obama's latest trip to Hawaii or Michelle

Obama's workout routine.

But now that Trump is in office, liberals in both the government and the media are pretending

to care about this problem, if only as an excuse to bring down the President.

Now that both the Russia collusion story and the Stormy Daniels saga aren't playing out,

the Left has to come up with a new strategy.

But Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas recently went on CNN to call out the media and his fellow

Democrats in Congress for not doing more to address this issue four years ago.

Watch below:

During the CNN interview, Cuellar stated that the plight of illegal immigrant children was,

"kept quiet under the Obama administration."

He stated that in 2014, "There were large numbers of people coming in and the Obama

administration tried to keep this quiet."

He went on to say that not all of those children were being separated from their parents because

many of the migrant children were coming by themselves.

Cuellar then explained the reasoning behind separating children from the adults accompanying

them.

He said it's to ensure that the children are really with their legal guardian and not

drug or sex traffickers.

Cuellar's honesty turns the whole liberal narrative on its head and proves decisively

that the real culprit behind the illegal immigrant crisis is Obama himself.

Even Feinstein admitted to Jake Tapper that she didn't bother learning about the child

migrant problem while Obama was president, but she still wants to criticize Trump for

following the same policies the Obama administration carried out for 8 years.

It's interesting how the media timed the release of this story to coincide with the

President's historic progress on denuclearizing North Korea.

No doubt the liberal media wanted Trump's North Korea summit to fail so that it would

give them more ammo to use against him.

But now that the President is poised to win a Nobel Peace Prize, the Left is using these

children as political props in their war against Trump.

They should be ashamed of themselves, but that would imply that the Left has any shame

to begin with.

Elephant Song | Kindergarten Nursery Rhymes Songs for Children | Kids Cartoon by Little Treehouse - Duration: 1:02:15.

I'm a giant elephant

See my floppy ears.

I can live in the forest

Up to fifty years

You might say I'm rather large

But trust me that ok

My legs are wide and strong

enough to carry what I weigh.

And I eat grass and roots,

Leaves off of trees

Bark and fruit

Thats what I need

Eating is important and it's so much fun.

If I keep this up I'll end up weighing several tons

I'm a giant elephant

My tusks come in handy

They help me gather all my food

They're made of Ivory

I'm the giant elephant

My trunk is very strong

You can learn a lot about me

when you sing this song

Minister for Women wants 50:50 split of men and women on government agency boards - Duration: 2:45.

The Minister for Women wants to see a 50:50 split

of men and women on the boards of government agencies.

Political reporter Eruera Rerekura canvassed the issue

and although many more Maori women are occupying leadership roles,

people he spoke to say there's still some way to go.

It's a significant year for women in New Zealand,

celebrating 125 years of women's suffrage.

Traci Houpapa is the chairperson of the Federation of Maori Authorities.

She says there are examples within Maoridom

that government departments could emulate.

Her comment comes as the Minister of Women's Affairs

wants to see a 50:50 split of men and women

in boards of government agencies.

The President of the Maori Women's Welfare League says

New Zealand still has a long way to go.

Houpapa says New Zealand has been a world leader

when it comes to promoting gender equality.

But Kapua says even though there are examples within Maoridom

of women in leadership roles,

many of those women didn't get the recognition

by general society that they deserved.

Take heed to the mana of women.

N. Korea, U.S. likely to look for common ground on denuclearization, security guarantee - Duration: 1:59.

Last week's repatriation of U.S. soldiers remains from the Korean War has helped rekindle

some momentum into North Korea-U.S. relations that seemed to have stalled in recent weeks.

It's hoped that the two sides can now make more progress towards North Korea's denuclearization,

as well as talks over security guarantees that Pyongyang wants from Washington.

Our Oh Jung-hee has this report.

Now that North Korea has returned more of the remains of American soldiers who died

in the Korean War... attention falls on how Pyongyang and Washington will proceed with

denuclearization talks.

Though Friday's repatriation is not directly relevant to Pyongyang's denuclearization,...

it's widely seen that the move did help both sides build trust... and therefore, could

have a positive effect on their denuclearization dialogue.

Since the June 12th summit in Singapore, North Korea and the U.S. have had difficulty moving

forward on the denuclearization front.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo visited Pyongyang for the third time... but could

not meet Kim Jong-un... and after his visit, the North claimed Washington was making unilateral

demands about denuclearization and inspections.

Pyongyang began dismantling key facilities at its Sohae Satellite Launching Station -- believed

to have been the regime's key ICBM test site -- but at the same time, pressed Washington

and Seoul to declare a formal end to the Korean War.

From here on, it's expected that North Korea and the U.S. will focus on finding a middle

ground between the U.S. giving the regime a security guarantee through measures like

ending the Korean War... and Pyongyang taking steps to denuclearize.

This week, the foreign ministers of the two Koreas, the U.S., and China will all be attending

the ASEAN Regional Forum in Singapore.

Their meetings, bilateral or otherwise, could help add momentum to the Pyongyang-Washington

denuclearization talks.

U.S. paid no money to North Korea for the repatriation of remains of American troops - Duration: 2:21.

About the return of those remains -- reports and government officials say that in past

cases, the U.S. had reimbursed Pyongyang for the costs of the search for them and their

return, but, they say, that was not the case this time.

Lee Ji-won reports.

The U.S. says it paid no money to North Korea for the return of the remains of American

troops last week.

According to CNN on Saturday, the U.S. State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said

that the Secretary of Defense does have the authority to reimburse the North, or any other

country, for expenses associated with the recovery and storage of remains.

But in this instance, she said, North Korea did not ask for money and no money changed

hands.

She went on to say that the repatriation was a tangible step toward fulfilling the commitment

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un made to President Donald Trump in Singapore last month.

The remains handed over were in 55 boxes brought back on an American military plane that flew

to the North to pick them up.

Prior to the return, a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency official had said that, though the

U.S. government does not pay any government or individual for the remains of missing Americans,...

it is authorized to reimburse the North for the costs of the operation, from recovery

to return.

A Congressional Research Service report showed that Washington paid 28 million U.S. dollars

to North Korea as reimbursement for the recovery of remains returned between1996 and 2005.

North Korea experts say the fact that Pyongyang did not request monetary compensation this

time is unusual.

Some say Kim Jong-un wants to show his decisiveness and sincerity in implementing the agreements

made with the U.S., which would also encourage Washington to do its part.

There are also suggestions that it could be as the North knows the U.S. would not be able

to pay them right now anyway.

"Paying them could be a violation of the sanctions.

It would be hard for the U.S. to do that while telling other countries to comply."

The expert said Pyongyang might ask for compensation later if their ties get better, and he also

noted that, in the past, reimbursement was paid later, after the soldiers were identified

from their DNA.

Grei(t) expectations for The Saxon's new fine-dining restaurant - Duration: 4:04.

Grei(t) expectations for The Saxon's new fine-dining restaurant

Grei(t) expectations for The Saxon's new fine-dining restaurant.

With chef Candice Philip at the helm, Joburg gourmets can look forward to enjoying a wonderfully inventive six-course menu when they dine at Grei.

Having trained as a chef for 13 years under David Higgs as well as with Luke Dale-Roberts, and with one of her dishes nominated for the 2016 Design Indaba's Most Beautiful Object in South Africa, chef Candice Philip has put the hard work into perfecting her craft.

That investment is paying off as she now heads up Grei, The Saxon's new fine-dining restaurant that replaces Luke Dale-Roberts X The Saxon.

Located in the same upstairs space, the new restaurant's interior has been completely redesigned, but the open-plan kitchen remains, giving you the same behind-the-scenes glimpse of the team bringing the menu to life.

As its name suggests, Grei's interior colour palette consists of various muted grey tones, giving it a sophisticated feel while providing a neutral backdrop for the vibrant colours presented on the plate.

Every dish on the six-course menu incorporates Philip's skill and passion for herbaceous flavours, unusual pairings and her signature style of intricate plating – a strong feature during her years working with Luke.

Throughout the meal, guests are taken on a journey of artfully curated textures, colours and flavours.

"The order of the dishes moves from lighter starters to richer mains and sweet desserts," says Philip.

"Each dish has its own textures – crunchy, soft, hard and crispy – and when combined with the herbs, it evolves into an even more unique experience." Some of the herbs naturally lend themselves to lighter dishes and styles that really pop in the muted space, such as the verbena with the king crab and broad beans or the pops of bright green lovage and orange pumpkin with lamb.

The vegetarian mushroom, ulva and Malabar spinach course is a highlight, with every sip of the earthy broth bursting with flavour.

The Beemster cheese, ginger and lavender course is the perfect bridge before the final course: a hard choice between the fruity guava, beetroot and hibiscus creation, or the Ashanti 67% dark chocolate mousse with smoked whisky and charcoal undertones.

Following the lead of Philip's unique taste combinations, the sommelier's wine pairings aim to offer the best local and international wines without focusing exclusively on one or the other.

The result is a comprehensive, yet unusual, overview of the wines in The Saxon's cellars.

"I'm excited to bring my own long-held vision to life," says Philip about her new venture.

"The response has been so positive.

When you're doing something quite different from before, you're always a bit unsure, but we've been fully booked so far and people are loving our new offering.".

Is it Okay for a Christian to Celebrate Halloween? - Duration: 4:08.

If you're like most people, you probably have a drawer

or two or three of old T-shirts.

You know, the ones from the run/walk you did back in 2009,

or the bar league volleyball T-shirt that you have with the clever name

from your buddy from college. Most T-shirts we don't wear,

we stick them in drawers. But I want to tell you today about

a T-shirt that I hope makes a big impact in a lot of ways.

Time of Grace is offering T-shirts that can

be yours if you request one through your donation.

A generous donor has offered to match, dollar for dollar, the first

$1,000 that we collect through these T-shirts.

And our hope is to spread the Gospel of God's timeless truth

to more and more people in the year to come.

We pray that your donation helps people understand Jesus,

his unconditional love and his crazy mercy.

And we pray that as you wear this T-shirt around, maybe someone asks,

"What's Time of Grace?"

And we don't want you to tell them just about a ministry

or website. We want you to tell them about the real reason,

the real roots of what we do:

God's grace,

the crazy love that just doesn't quit,

the joy that we have every morning because Jesus still cares,

he's still for us and he's not against us.

So we pray that we can give you some great fashion this summer.

Even more, we pray that you can give one more way for us to spread

God's amazing grace.

Halloween has become a huge deal in our nation.

It's an approximately a $7B business with approximately eight gazillion kids

going around offering ultimatums to their neighbors.

So, the question that I get is, "Is it okay for a Christian to participate in Halloween?"

So, permit a super-fast history lesson.

Halloween has its roots 2,000 years ago in the Celtic and Druid tradition of celebrating their new year.

Their new year was on November 1st and to do this, they would lite bonfires.

This is a Pagan religion.

Lite bonfires, wear animal costumes and masks, and animal sacrifices to their false gods.

Well, about 43 A.D., just about 10 years after Jesus,

the Romans come into that land of Ireland.

And you think, "Oh great! The Romans are Christian!"

Well, not exactly yet.

So now they just merge two Pagan holidays together

until about 900 when the Pope at the time

attempts to try and Christianize this holiday by moving All Saints Day from May into November 1st.

So, now we have this tradition of All Hallows Eve.

So, just by the question, "Is it okay to celebrate Halloween?"

I think we know intuitively there's something not quite right with Halloween.

So I think there's two sides to it.

On the one side we have cute trick-or-treaters in neighborhoods

getting together and bobbing for apples.

And I mean seriously, we spent $350M on pet costumes.

That's a true statement.

On the other side, though, there's a serious undercurrent of the occult, the demonic,

witches and this things that go back to these Pagan worship.

And the Bible doesn't just warn against this, the Bible says very clearly we don't want to have anything

to do with the demonic, with mediums, or anything.

The Bible says very clearly . . .

So, what do I do?

I've always let my own kids trick-or-treat.

And they can wear cute costumes,

and I let them get together with their neighborhood and I enjoy giving out candy to the neighborhood kids.

But as soon as that starts to tip in any way towards the mccobb, the demonic, the occult

we don't get near it.

Our battle, again, is not with flesh or blood.

Our battle is with the dark forces of this world.

And your spirituality, your relationship with God, is way more important.

In the end, why would we want to celebrate something so dark

when we can celebrate the life of Christ that is so beautiful?
