I'm

Not discord, you've never been to your house before well, that's okay because I've never hosted a tea party before

There you go back to normal just the way you like it see you tomorrow

Actually madam, I'm talking to myself

Well, I'm not talking to you. It's for Fluttershy Oh

All right, no more holes, though

Fluttershy deserves the best of everything of course I shouldn't get her the best of everything. Why didn't I think of that?

Well, are you going to answer me or not? Is this where Fluttershy usually buys her tea?

Yes, it is

Wonderful. I'll be enjoying her company tomorrow. So I will be needing your very neither. It just tastes good

Hold on ginseng tea, uh-huh. Oh, it seems that I got here just in time

Very nerve, I'm sorry. Do you validate?

Hello

Yes

Judgey, clerk pony. Why is it such a surprise? Sure. She's on the quieter side, and I'm a bit

Well more sure but offers tea how positively dreadful

But that's all teapots are supposed to do not anymore

Oh decorations, of course

But not nearly good enough for Fluttershy

How do I make these better? What should I do?

Make them

Make them glow. Oh

That's not good enough for Fluttershy as the party pony and fluttershy's close

But not best friend. I need your advice. I'm hosting a tea party for her and it has to be

Perfect. And that's why you're the party expert. Thank you Pinkie Pie. I feel so much better now

Well, I mean, that should be a problem

Maybe it's not as bad as I think maybe Fluttershy would be comfortable having a tea party here. I

Was trying to make the Tea Party different and special like me but all I did was make it chaotic and weird like me

What if this puts time to call in the team?

Okay, chief what's the plan

Enjoy your all expense paid trips around Equestria

Well done everybody, but there's still more work to do

Did you actually like stairs that lead somewhere

Some of this in a little

10 Countries Where Your Pet Is Just Livestock

Would you eat your pet?. Your answer is almost definitely "no. " Now, would you eat another animal of the same species as your pet? This time, your answer might be "no.

" However, ask the citizens of some countries these same questions and you will probably hear "yes," especially to the second question.

Although some of us have become so accustomed to some animals as pets that we no longer consider them as food, other people have no qualms about eating these animals, even if they have a similar animal as a pet.

Here are some countries whose citizens will eat your favorite pet without a second thought. Listverse - Daily Highlights. Dogs.

Dogs may be man's best friends but not to some citizens of Switzerland, Vietnam, Nigeria, South Korea, Indonesia, Greenland, the Philippines, and China, who consider the animals as just livestock.

In Switzerland, it is illegal to buy and sell dog meat. But there is no law against people killing and eating their own dogs.

Several tribes living around the Arctic and Antarctic will also readily munch down on their dogs when food is low. In Vietnam, dog meat is the go-to meat during ceremonies.

Demand is so high that dogs are now being stolen from the streets and homes of neighboring Thailand and smuggled into Vietnam.[1].

If there is one place not to be a dog, it is South Korea. In that country, up to 2.5 million dogs are slaughtered and eaten every year.

Following South Korea is the Philippines, where over 290,000 dogs are killed for human consumption annually.

Dog meat used to be legal in the Philippines until the 1998 Animal Welfare Act banned it. However, the dog meat industry simply moved underground and business continued as usual. These days, it is worth over $4 million a year.

The Lychee and Dog Meat Festival (aka the Yulin Dog Meat Festival) marks the height of consumption in China. Over 10,000 dogs and cats are eaten during the 10-day annual festival held in Guangxi province.

Monkeys.

Monkey meat is called "bushmeat" in the parts of West and Central Africawhere it is eaten. In the Republic of the Congo, it is called likaku and is usually sold in restaurants and at roadside stands.[2].

So many monkeys are being hunted to sate the appetites of monkey meat lovers that some species are already at the brink of extinction.

It was believed that one subspecies, the Miss Waldron's red colobus, had been hunted to extinction, but there may be a few still living in Africa. This subspecies is now considered to be "critically endangered.".

Gorillas, bonobos, and chimpanzees are not safe from monkey meat hunters and consumers, either, as these animals are considered alternatives to monkeys.

There are claims that fresh monkey brains are a delicacy in China and Malaysia. It is said that the head of the unfortunate monkey is split open and the brain is eaten straight from the skull.

These claims have not been confirmed, but it could have happened in the past—and possibly still occurs today. However, we know that cooked monkey brains are eaten in countries in the Far East. Cats.

Cat meat is eaten in Vietnam, China, and Australia. Despite being illegal, it is considered a delicacy in Vietnam, where it is called "little tiger." Cats destined to become little tigers are usually drowned in water before they are skinned, roasted, and seasoned.

Thereafter, they are cut into pieces and downed with bottles of beer.

The Vietnamese demand for cat meat is so high that the animals are now stolen from the homes of their owners in neighboring Thailand and Laos and smuggled into Vietnam. Cats in Vietnam are not spared, either.

In fact, it is rare to find cats strolling along the streets of Hanoi where the owners have learned to lock these pets inside their homes lest they become little tigers.

Vietnamese only started eating cats in the 20th century when a series of wars left them starving and forced them to eat whatever they could lay their hands on. This also included dogs, rats, and insects.[3].

Thieves are also fueling the cat meat industry in China where over four million unfortunate kitties are eaten every year. One thief was caught with over 500 cats he had stolen from the homes of their owners.

The man, identified only as Sun, was selling the animals for a mere $4.40 a piece. Many Chinese were concerned when the news of the theft appeared on the Internet, although some were angrier about the cats being stolen rather than eaten.

Felines are also eaten in Australia. Feral cats that have been wreaking havoc on Australia's wildlife are the ones targeted for cooking pots.

Australians no longer want these animals hanging around. What better way to get rid of them than just eating them? Other feral animals like pigeons and camels are also on the menu. Horses.

Although most Americans frown at the idea of eating horse meat, it remains a delicacy in many countries, including neighboring Canada.

In 2014, almost 67,000 horses were butchered for their meat in Canada, even though the bulk was shipped to the European Union, which considers horses as food-producing animals. In the Netherlands, horse meat is a key ingredient in making sandwiches.

Looking south, over 128,000 horses are slaughtered in Mexico every year. Like Canada, the bulk of the meat is exported.

But this time, it goes to several countries including Egypt, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Russia, Vietnam, and Japan. In Japan, horse meat is used in traditional dishes such as basashi.

Interestingly, Mexicans are not totally fans of eating the product despite having a huge horse meat industry. However, it is normal for butchers to pass off this meat as beef.

An investigation revealed that 10 percent of beef sold in five Mexican cities was actually horse meat.[4]. Lizards.

For reptile lovers, your favorite pet is just another food in parts of Asia and South America. Fried gecko is a delicacy in Indonesia, where it is loved for its supposed medicinal properties.

It is also popular in China, where it is believed to shrink tumors. Gecko is said to taste like something between chicken meat and fish.

Iguanas are not spared from cooking pots in El Salvador, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Lots of these lizards also roam the streets and forests of Puerto Rico, where they were first introduced as pets in the 1970s.

Some got into the wild and, considering their rapid rate of reproduction, quickly surpassed humans in population. There are more iguanas than people in Puerto Rico today.

So Puerto Ricans have decided to eat the iguanas to keep their population low. The meat is said to taste like chicken, just better. Snakes.

The Chinese have been eating snake soup since the third century BC. The soup remained an exclusive treat for the rich until it became common throughout China in the 1700s.

It is believed to cure arthritis, improve the skin, and promote blood circulation. The soup's warmth is used to counter the winter cold, which is why it is often eaten then.

These days, it is considered a delicacy in Hong Kong where it is called se gang. A typical snake soup contains as many as five different types of snakes.

It is boiled with pork bone and chicken. Mushrooms, ginger, chrysanthemum leaves, and lemongrass are added for taste.

The snake meat can also be fried or made into casseroles. The meat is said to look and taste like chicken except that it is a bit tougher. Hong Kong restaurants that serve snakes are called se wong ("snake king").

These eateries are slowly becoming a rarity in Hong Kong because the low wages paid in the industry are not enough to keep expert chefs and snake handlers committed to the preparation of the delicacy.[6]. Mice.

com. Roasted mice are roadside delicacies in Zimbabwe and Malawi. In Zimbabwe, the rodents are caught with traps set in cornfields. The trapped mice are roasted and salted before being sold to commuters traveling to neighboring South Africa.[7].

In Malawi, they are called mbewa or roasted field mice. There, they are also caught in fields but without traps. Instead, children disturb corn husks, forcing the mice hiding underneath to attempt an escape. The children kill the escaping mice with sticks.

At other times, the children set the entrance to the mouse nests on fire and kill any mice trying to escape. The animals are roasted, salted, and peppered. Then they are eaten whole, complete with the bones and everything else within.

Rats.

Rats are a delicacy among members of the Adi tribe in India. Any kind will do—from regular house rats to those found in the forests.

The Adi people even have an annual festival called Unying-Aran, which is celebrated with rat dishes. The animals can be roasted or made into bule-bulak oying stew that contains the rat's entrails, tail, legs, and fetus.

Rats are also eaten among the Dalit caste of India.

The members of this caste, one of the country's poorest, are even called "rat eaters" because they often cultivate the farms of a richer caste in exchange for killing any rats found there.

The rodents are usually smoked and eaten whole. They are said to taste like quail or chicken.

Rats are also eaten in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Ghana, China, Vietnam, Nigeria, and Cameroon. The preferred breeds are the African giant rat in Nigeria and the equally big cane rat in Cameroon.

The cane rat is the size of a small dog and is more expensive than chicken. It is said to taste like pork but is more tender.[8]. Turtles.

Turtle soup was popular in the US in the 1860s. It was even served at the second inauguration of President Abraham Lincoln in 1865.

President William Howard Taft loved it so much that he selected the White House chef based on his ability to cook the soup. In the South, wealthy patrons hosted turtle soup parties called "turtle frolics.".

The popularity of turtle soup made it so expensive that mock turtle soup was introduced. It was similar to the regular variety except that the turtle was replaced with the head of a calf.

Mock turtle soup, which was served at Lincoln's first inauguration, was also costly, though not as much as real turtle soup.[9].

Both soups had almost completely disappeared in the US by the 1960s. Mock turtle soup is still sold in Cincinnati today, but it is made with ground beef.

In China, turtle soup is believed to improve blood circulation, enhance kidney function, stop menstrual pains, and prolong life. As weird as it sounds, a good number of turtles used for Chinese turtle soup come from the US.

In Arkansas, about 600,000 of these animals were killed for human consumption between 2004 and 2006. Over 106,000 kilograms (235,000 lb) of turtles were also harvested in Iowa in 2007.

This is creating a problem in the US because turtles are being harvested faster than they are reproducing.

Protected species like the alligator snapping turtle (Macrochelys temmickii) are not spared because they are being mistaken for their unprotected look-alike, the common snapping turtle (Chelydra serpentina). Rabbits.

Rabbits are the third most common mammals kept as pets in the United States. They used to double as livestock before and during World War II, but this stopped with the advent of large-scale farming.

Little wonder that their reintroduction as food has generated controversy in the US.

However, rabbits are just another meat in countries such as Cyprus, Italy, Malta, France, and China. In fact, China, the world's largest supplier, produced 690,000 tons of rabbit meat in 2010.

Of that, 10,000 tons were exported to several countries, especially Belgium, Germany, and the US.

Rabbit meat is also common in the European Union, where about 326 million of the animals are slaughtered every year. These days, rabbit meat is promoted as a leaner alternative to chicken and beef in the US.

But Americans are divided over whether they want their rabbits to double as livestock or just remain pets.

The FBI Is On Trial And The Verdict Could Bring Down The Deep State For Good - Duration: 12:01.

The FBI Is On Trial And The Verdict Could Bring Down The Deep State For Good

The FBI has played a central role in the Deep State's anti-Trump conspiracy.

Former Director James Comey used unverified, partisan opposition research as the basis

for a FISA warrant that allowed the Bureau to snoop through the Trump campaign's communications.

Now the FBI is on trial and the verdict could drive the final nail in the Deep State's

coffin.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted Paul Manafort on a host of financial crimes completely

unrelated to the 2016 election.

But Manafort isn't going to roll over.

His legal team has the option of mounting a defense that keys in on the FBI's anti-Trump

bias.

Politico reports:

"PAUL MANAFORT'S LEGAL TEAM FACES A CRITICAL CHOICE AS HE HEADS TO TRIAL: HOW AGGRESSIVELY

THE FORMER TRUMP CAMPAIGN CHAIRMAN SHOULD BASE HIS DEFENSE ON ALLEGED POLITICAL BIAS

AND MISCONDUCT BY FEDERAL INVESTIGATORS.

MANAFORT, A CRIMINAL DEFENDANT FIGHTING TWO SEPARATE CASES, IS UNIQUELY POSITIONED TO

TRY TO DREDGE UP INFORMATION ON BIAS OR POTENTIAL OVERREACH BY FBI AND JUSTICE DEPARTMENT OFFICIALS

WHO HAVE PLAYED ROLES IN SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT MUELLER'S PROBE OF TIES BETWEEN THE TRUMP

CAMPAIGN AND RUSSIA.

WHETHER MANAFORT WILL SEEK TO UNCOVER AND SPOTLIGHT DISPARAGING DETAILS ABOUT FEDERAL

OFFICIALS, POTENTIALLY INCLUDING AN FBI AGENT DISMISSED FROM MUELLER'S TEAM LAST YEAR,

HAS BECOME THE SUBJECT OF SPECULATION AND ANTICIPATION BY LAWYERS INVOLVED IN THE RUSSIA

INVESTIGATION.

"THIS IS SOMETHING WE'VE ALL BEEN TALKING ABOUT," SAID ONE DEFENSE ATTORNEY REPRESENTING

A WITNESS IN MUELLER'S PROBE.

"IT'S A HARD QUESTION."

SOME EXPECT MANAFORT TO TAKE A SLASH-AND-BURN APPROACH.

"I THINK THEY'RE GOING TO TRY TO THROW ANY DIRT POSSIBLE," SAID FORMER FEDERAL

PROSECUTOR RANDAL ELIASON.

"IF HE'S GOING TO TRIAL, THEN I WOULD EXPECT IT TO BE AN ALL-OUT WAR, AND I WOULDN'T

BE SURPRISED IF THEY TRY TO MAKE THOSE KINDS OF CLAIMS THAT THE PROSECUTION IS TAINTED."

Manafort's defense that he was targeted by partisans at the Bureau who are using this

investigation as a fishing expedition to destroy Donald Trump would allow jurors to render

a verdict on the FBI's conduct and send a message to the Bureau that engaging in partisan

warfare violates America's democratic norms.

Even if Manafort loses at trial, his defense could lay the groundwork for a pardon.

Politico also reports:

"THE DEGREE TO WHICH HE CAN SHOW BROADER FBI MISCONDUCT IN HIS INVESTIGATION CAN LAY

A FOUNDATION FOR A PARDON," SAID GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY LAW PROFESSOR JONATHAN

TURLEY.

"THUS FAR, MANAFORT HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO BENEFIT FROM THE CONTROVERSY SURROUNDING THE

FBI.

TO THE EXTENT HE CAN MAKE HIMSELF PART OF THAT NARRATIVE, IT CAN ONLY HELP HIM — CERTAINLY

WITH THE PRESIDENT."

Manafort's trial is a chance to turn the tables and make the Deep State's conduct

an issue.

His team will have access to documents through discovery and can call witnesses that will

shed light on what was really behind the special counsel's zeal to bring this to trial.

Dr. Youssef: Fake news.

Have you heard of it?

Yeah, it's the buzz word now.

But it has the potential of a global disaster.

The proliferation of the social media,

of course, has something to do with that.

In fact, I'm told that about 76% of adults in America

get their news from the social media.

Yet, the tragedy of all tragedies

is that these fake news, these false news,

are now preached from many a pulpit across America.

No, I'm not talking about political news,

and I'm not talking about social news.

I'm not talking about military news.

I am talking about the good news of the gospel,

the truth of God's Word.

The news of the gospel has been so falsified by many a church,

the inerrancy of the Word of God is now mocked

in many an evangelical churches

and replaced by a popular message.

It was my friend, the late Dr. Adrian Rogers,

who once said, "It is better

to be hated for telling the truth

than loved by telling a lie.

It is better to stand alone with the truth

than be wrong with the multitudes."

I want to say, "'Amen' belongs here."

And, beloved, that's precisely what Peter is telling us

here in this passage today as we come

in the third in the series of messages,

"It's Never Too Late," from the 2nd Epistle of Peter.

I already told you this is the forgotten Epistle.

Very few people preach from it, let--or quote it.

And so I want you to turn with me, please, to Peter,

2 Peter, chapter 1, verses 12 to 21,

as Peter begins to sense in his spirit

that his time for departing this life is drawing near.

He begins to share the biggest burden of his heart,

and the biggest burden of his heart

for the church of Jesus Christ,

not that the church be financially well endowed,

not the church of Jesus Christ

be merely socially accepted in society

or that the church members are popular

or that the church members are accommodating well

to the pressure of the secular humanism

or that the church members are happy.

But that the church of Jesus Christ

and the church members are armed with the truth.

That the church members are not being misled

by fake gospels, by fake news,

and that the church members are not taken in

by these falsehoods,

that the church members do not fall victims

of this false biblical interpretation,

that the church members

do not believe this popular lies.

And so in verse 12 all the way to 15,

Peter is saying that as long as he has breath,

as long as he's living in this body

which he calls a tent,

he will never tire from proclaiming the truth,

that he will not get bored or be dissuaded

from repeating the truth, why?

Because, as a Jew who knew his Old Testament only too well,

he knows what a fickle memory his people have,

and so in verse 12, he said,

"I will not cease to repeatedly remind you of the truth."

Verse 13: "As long as I'm in this tent,"

which the Bible talks about the body.

In fact, the apostle Paul talks about the tent.

And when Jesus said,

"You'll have a mansion in the sky,"

we think that we're gonna get a big palace.

But what the Bible does in the Semitic language

is that he compares this body,

and he calls it a tent because a tent will fold.

Every one of us, our tent will fold one day.

But then Jesus prepared for his own children

a spiritual body that is awaiting them,

and in comparison, that spiritual body

is a mansion in comparison to this tent

because it will be a body without any limitation.

So he said, "As long as I'm in this tent,

I'm gonna stir you up."

Verses 14 and 15,

Peter is only too aware of the brevity of life

that he is only too aware the time is coming to an end.

For every one of us, my beloved friends,

that day is coming.

And no matter how much we think that it will never come to us,

it's gonna come to every one of us

when we'll dispose with this body,

when we will dispose with this tent,

when this tent will fold and our souls will be clothed

as in 1 Corinthians chapter 15

Paul says, "Be clothed with that spiritual body,

a body like Jesus's body after the Resurrection."

Let everyone ask yourself the question,

"What will I say on the day when I'm gonna have

an audience of one with him?"

Let that question haunt you.

Never let it depart from your mind

and from your thoughts.

For some, and I don't know, maybe watching around the world,

maybe even sitting in this beautiful sanctuary;

for some, you need to ask yourself the question:

where will I spend eternity?

Where will I spend eternity?

Will I hear from the lips of Jesus,

"Well done, good and faithful servant"?

Or will I hear, "What have you done?"

In verses 16 to 21,

Peter explains why he is so patient about constantly

and repeatedly unfolding the truth of the gospel.

He is unfolding it without compromise,

without watering it down,

without make it popular to the masses,

without accommodating

to the pressure of a perverted culture,

without trading the truth for personal popularity.

No, verse 16, he said, "For we did not follow

cleverly invented stories

when we told you about the power and the coming

of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Hear me right, it is very popular

in many evangelical churches today

and I'm not talking about--you know.

I'm talking about evangelical churches that say

that you do not have to believe in the virgin birth,

you do not have to believe in Noah and the flood,

you don't have to believe

in Jonah being in the belly of the whale,

you don't have to believe this

and you don't have to believe that.

And so they pick and choose like a smorgasbord.

Why would Jesus liken his death

to that of Jonah being

in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights?

He said, "As Jonah."

Why would he say that the last days,

our last days, are gonna be like unto the days of Noah,

"where they marry and given in marriage

and there's living for self and self-indulgence."

Why would he do that?

Here is the truth. Listen carefully.

Peter said that, "We were eyewitnesses of these truths."

You have to ask yourself the question: why?

Why is Peter making an issue of all this?

Why?

Why is he making an issue of this?

Because in his day, as in our days,

there were false preachers who are preaching fake news.

Furthermore, history tells us that Peter himself

when they were gonna crucify him,

he asked specifically not to be crucified like his master,

but rather be crucified upside down.

Let me tell you something,

nobody would be crucified upside down

for a tale or for a fable or for fake news.

Now, these fables fill other religions.

I know it. I've read it.

It is there in their books.

And yet, there were hundreds, if not thousands, of people

who watched firsthand

and experienced the resurrected Jesus.

His resurrection was not done in secret.

It was revealed 500 people in one day.

But tales belong to other religions.

Jesus himself said, "I did nothing in secret."

Hear me right, please.

The way Satan operates,

even in many a church today, is this.

He will bring doubt to the truth.

And in a sense, he's basically saying,

"This truth is a lie."

And once you think the truth is a lie,

and we're seeing it before our very eyes right now.

We're seeing it with our own eyes.

What happens after a while, people become confused,

and when they become confused,

they're gonna throw their hands up in the air and say,

"We don't know what the truth is anymore."

And Peter's saying, "Listen to me

because I can never forget that he looked at me

and he said, 'Peter, feed my sheep.'"

And that is why I'm feeding you

on the power of the Word of God.

I'm not giving you dogs and cat food

that the false teachers are giving you,

and not even fake news that mislead you.

The reason I will not give up warning you

and pleading with you and entreating you

is because I promised him that I will feed you

on the infallible, inerrant Word of God.

Look at verse 19.

Peter's saying to us

and to everyone who would listen,

the Word of God is a light.

It's a light.

Don't choose to follow fake news.

It can only take you to darkness.

Its word is light.

It shines the light of Christ into your hearts

and that is why Peter is warning us

against snuffing the light of the Word of God

and eating the worms.

He is warning us against eating the spiritual worms

that can only, only, only damage our hearts and minds.

Instead of seeing, instead of doing this,

he is saying when the Holy Spirit sees

in any of us a genuine desire,

a genuine desire of wanting the light of Christ

and the light of the Word of God to shine in us,

he comes, the Holy Spirit comes like a magnifying glass

and--that focuses the light of the Word of God

and illumine our hearts.

But the opposite is also true.

Listen to me very carefully.

A lot of people stumble over this.

If you are one of the elect of God,

if you're saved and you're living in disobedience

and you choose to live in the darkness of immorality,

the Holy Spirit of God goes into a corner and grieves.

Why do you think the apostle Paul said,

"Do not grieve the Holy Spirit"?

The light of Christ and the light of the Word of God

will illumine your life.

Allow the spirit of God to take the words that he authored

to shine deep into your heart

and only then will you be able to clearly see and distinguish

the difference between the real news,

the good news, and fake news,

between the truth and the falsehood,

the light will expose all of these lies

that are making their way among evangelical churches,

a lie that says Jesus is a way, not the way.

Or a lie like that says that Jesus

is just a founder of another religion

like the other founders.

Or the lie that says that love

should not only make us accept people,

but approve their immoral lifestyle.

Or the lie that says that being a Christian means

that you embrace sinfulness and perversion.

The lie that says that love compels us to never condemn sin,

whether it be a sin in our lives

or the sin in other people's lives.

Or the inclusion into the church membership

of those who reject the truth of the Bible

as an act of kindness.

That's not kindness; that's cruelty.

The list goes on and on and on.

Let me tell you something you already know.

Lying has always been around.

Ever since the serpent lied to Eve,

lying has always been around.

But I wanna submit to you

that it has reached an endemic proportion.

It's epidemic now.

So much so that the truth sounds stranger than fiction.

On the Mount of Transfiguration, Peter was so ecstatic,

he just want to stay there forever.

I can understand that.

Sometimes, when we see

the glory of Christ, we wanna be with him.

We don't wanna come down into the valley

and deal with the problems of life, sure.

He said, "Let's have a booth for you and for Moses and one--

We wanna stay here."

And that is why he says, "Look, we saw with our eyes.

We have experienced firsthand the majesty of the Lord Jesus.

Finally, verses 20 to 21,

he is telling us that you can trust the Word of God

because it came from God.

All this false preaching about, well, this part

was relevant two centuries ago,

in the first century, but not now.

A smorgasbord, you pick and choose.

This was relevant then, but it's not relevant today.

This was this, and this was that.

You know, all that stuff,

Peter here absolutely tears it to shreds.

Verses 20 to 21: you can trust the Word of God.

No matter who throws doubt on it.

No matter who throws cold water on its authenticity.

Those words in the Scripture,

he said, written by human beings,

but the Holy Spirit of God

edited every one of their thoughts and words.

These writers, 40 of them,

have written in the Word of God,

in the span of 1600 years

and yet they all write the same story, why?

Because the Holy Spirit of God

guided their thoughts and their hands.

Don't you ever doubt it.

When did you ever doubt it? Give God glory.

I'm so grateful that he preserved it.

So many despots and so many enemies

want to destroy the Word of God, but he preserve it for us.

How grateful should we be for that, huh?

Notice the word "all."

Can you say "all"?

He says, "All Scripture was written

by the direction of the Holy Spirit."

Not the bits you like and the bits you don't like.

No, no, all Scripture, it is all profitable for doctrine,

for reproof, for correction, for instruction,

and for righteousness.

All Scripture.

Let's say it again. All Scripture.

I'm gonna tell you this story as I conclude.

It's a true story of a church

like many of the thousands of churches,

at least I know dozens of them,

who many years ago,

the gospel was proclaimed boldly, truthfully,

but today no more.

It's one of those churches where the pastor preached

the whole counsel of God,

preached the whole Word of God,

trusted in the integrity of the Word of God

and the authenticity

that the Holy Spirit authored the Word of God.

When he died, the church called one of those pastors,

those modern pastors,

who was doubting some parts of the Scripture.

He doubted the historicity of the flood.

He doubted the historicity of Jonah.

He doubted the historicity of the virgin birth

despite of the fact

that the very divinity of Christ depend on it.

And so, after two years of preaching this doubt

to that congregation,

many people would just sit there in tears

over what happened to their beloved church.

He found out

that one of the stalwart members of the church

was terminally ill and is dying.

And so he decided to go and pay him a visit,

this man who served on the board of the church,

a man who loves the Word of God,

trusted the Word of God, all these years.

And so, the pastor said to him,

"I know you love the Word of God.

Do you want me to read from the Bible?"

And the man said, "Yes please."

He said, "Well, I didn't bring my Bible with me.

Can I borrow yours?"

The man gladly took his Bible, gave it to him.

And the pastor opened that Bible and he found

that many pages torn out.

Some whole chapters were missing.

There were actually some verses that methodically,

either with a scissors or razor blade,

were taken out.

I mean, it was highly mangled volume of the Scripture.

And the pastor kind of was reluctant,

didn't want to say anything, but then finally he said,

"Do you have a better Bible than this?

This is just all mangled up."

And the dying man responded, "When you came to our church,

I believed the entire book,

but as you told us certain sections were not true,

I removed them.

As you told us some stories

are probably fables and fictional,

I tore them up, out of the book.

I think if I sat under your preaching one more year,

I would have nothing left of the Bible

except the two covers."

Beloved, I know and you know that we live in uncertain times.

We live in uncertain times.

But don't let that uncertainty lead you to following fake news,

fake gospel, or fake preachers.

Why Big5 is better than MBTI - Duration: 12:41.

Hello, Moderately Long Que.

It's Max here again.

And first of all

sunglasses

*hits the roof*

*then the floor*

If you want to evolve as a person.

If you want to get

in contact with more people.

If you want to "grow up".

Eye contact is super important.

And if you want to understand, where MBTI

comes from.

The basis for MBTI

I suggest you read this.

This one is in Swedish *and upside down*

Most of the stuff on this channel will be in Swedish,

cause' you know. Swedish is my native tongue,

but yeah, [it's from this book]

that [the Myers Briggs Type Indicator] originated from.

Quite the difficult read,

but I suggest you get through it.

Jung never...

*Stuttering*

Meant for his typology model to

be expanded upon as it has been.

Enough of that.

Today we're doing this.

It's an article I wrote while I was still in secondary school.

I went to a largely English speaking school.

Which is why a lot of the stuff I'll be reading on

will be in English.

Most of the stuff will be in Swedish, but

Enough of that.

Let's get right into the reading.

Introduction to the Jungian typology model.

At it's core, the Jungian typology model

is a tool used to classify ones personality.

Using 2 scales with a total of 4 different dichotomies.

Jung first thought of the idea of personality functions in the late 20's,

after his break with Freud.

He was baffled about the fact that both

Freud's school of psychology.

And that of another early breakaway psychologist

Alfred Adler

and his "Individual Psychology",

both seemed applicable

only to different people.

He came up with what he thought was a pretty clear distinction

between the differences in how people perceived the world.

Some people, the "extroverts",

they will put themselves in direct contact with what they want,

in order to achieve it.

"If you want something grab it" - kind of people.

Others are more reserved.

The "introverts"

Instead of going straight towards...

Instead of going straight forward,

they might want to put things off

and want to reflect about what they're doing before committing.

Even if they'll end up missing it all together

Jung described it as extroverts being more "object driven"

and more open.

While introverts are more "subject driven"

and more closed off.

Jung also described what he called psychological/cognitive functions.

The feeling/thinking and sensing/intuitive preferences.

These functions is basically a way to explain how we

perceive and judge the world.

For example, imagine working at an office.

The first thing you recognize

*Gör om, gör rätt*

For example, imagine working at an office,

and you see a cup of old/cold coffee

someone else have left on your desk.

The first thing you'd recognize is what it actually is,

"a cup of coffee".

That brown, bittersweet liquid is what it has always been:

"A cup of coffee!"

This is the "Sensing function".

Then you quickly analyze it.

It might for example be, an odd looking stoneware mug.

This is the "Thinking function".

You then realize that it's not your cup,

you don't own such a strange mug.

You get a little bit frustrated that someone has just left it on your table.

This is the "Feeling function".

You then pick it up and put it away

and as you touch it, you feel that it's very very cold.

It has probably been standing there for a long time.

and seeing as its Monday

:(

It has probably been standing there the whole weekend.

This is the "Intuitive function".

So basically to recap.

The "Sensing function":

The natural way of gaining information through the five senses.

Based on what is real.

The "Thinking function":

The rational thought process,

used to understand and interpret objects on an intellectual level.

*Trying to turn the page*

*ugh*

[It's easier if your fingers are a little bit moist]

There we go!

The "Feeling function":

The evaluating process,

used to determine what is meaningful and what isn't.

Then you have the "Intuitive function":

The more unorthodox way of gaining information.

By trying to see what could be, rather than what is.

Sort of like the 3 dimensions of space

plus the 1 dimension of time.

I didn't come up with that analogy

I read it somewhere.

Anyway...

The truly interesting and most important part

of Jung's typology

is when you mix the concept of intro/extroversion

together with the theories of psychological functions.

Jung stated on numerous occasions

that no one person is truly

an introvert or truly an extrovert.

Everyone got a little bit of both

and might in a lot of cases just be slightly tilted

towards One Direction.

Rather than people themselves being either

introverted or extroverted,

it's the functions!

So while the "thinking function" might always be the

rational-logically-analytical-function

It can either be used in an objective or subjective manner.

If it's used in an extroverted way

It will want to organize things in

how they fit in with other parts of reality.

If it's used in an introverted way.

It will want to organize things in

in how they fit into already tested concepts

that might have been seen before.

This is still ALL Jung.

But moving on to

"Advanced typology"

more like "Advanced Horoscoping"

Am I right?

Typology is just a small part

about Jungian psychology.

But it's perhaps the one field

that has been the most expanded upon.

The most famous of these expansions

has been the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

or MBTI for short.

At it's core it's pretty much a detailed version

of what Jung explained in his book "Psychological Types"

This little [puppy] right here.

And I might be wrong about this,

but I don't think he [Jung] was the author of this book.

It's someone else who collected his works.

[who] basically took his

Tavistock lecture and made it into a book.

Yeah, Jung sells, Yo!

Oops. *I dropped something on the floor*

First published in 1929,

It's [as a model] a lot more strict than

Jung probably would've thought is able.

It's very easy to understand

and quite often answers a lot of questions,

which has made it a popular tool to use.

A much better tool

and also quite easy to understand

is the Big 5 personality test.

If you're interested in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator,

I suggest you switch to the Big 5 personality.

It's a lot more scientific

let's just, leave it at that.

Instead of just testing the

2 dichotomies of Sensing/Intuition

and Feeling/Thinking

The Myers Briggs Type Indicator also bring

Introversion/Extroversion

and Perceving/Judging into the mix

The tests themselves are usually made up

of a series of questions

made to see which of the preferences you use.

For example, a question like:

"You are almost never late for appointments".

Yes or No?

Determines if you're a Judger or a Perceiver.

"You enjoy having a wide circle of acquiescences."

Yes or No?

Determines if you're Extroverted or Introverted.

"You trust reason rather than feelings."

Determines if you're a Thinker or a Feeler.

I think all people should trust

reasons rather than feelings,

but who am I to [Judge]

"You get bored if you have to read theoretical books"

Determines if you're Intuitive or Sensing

Well [according to MBTI] I'm an intuitive person

and I don't get bored reading theoretical books.

So...

Even though some tests use other

types of questions.

Most are designed so as the person doing the test

either have to pick between one side of the dichotomy

or the other.

So for example.

Sara does the test and scores:

9/12 Introversion/Extroversion

9/12 Sensing/Intuition

11/12 Thinking/Feeling

7/12 Perceiving/Judging

This means that Sara will be an ENFJ.[Extroverted Intuitive Feeling Judging]

Let's read a little description:

That was published on

[a page that doesn't exist any longer]

*It doesn't*

Reading this description is like reading a horoscope.

*Can't find the words*

I'd say that MBTI to psychology

is sort of like what astrology is to astronomy.

Do you agree?

Leave a like.

Do you disagree?

Leave a dislike.

Maybe write something in the comments?

If Robert then would do the same test.

and score:

2/12 Introversion/Extroversion

3/12 in Sensing/Intuition

2/12 in Thinking/Feeling

5/12 in Perceiving/Judging

Robert would be an ISTP [Introverted Sensing Thinking Perceiving]

And a description from the same page.

[a page that doesn't exist any longer]

[a page that doesn't exist any longer]

[a page that doesn't exist any longer]

*Like reading a horoscope*

Basically the Myers Briggs Type Indicator can be understood

by understanding 4 general rules.

The first of which is:

1. The verison of the most dominant function will determine if a person is introverted or extroverted.

This rule, I'd say have to go.

As Jung stated on numerous occasions.

Most notably in this little

interpretation of his work.

It's the functions!

Everyone is both Introverted and Extroverted!

If you believe that you're an Introvert

and you believe you will be introverted

throughout your whole life.

Then you will never leave your moms basement.

Second rule:

2. Judges (J) have their rational function (Thinking/Feeling) Extroverted, while Perceivers (P) have it Introverted

I was an INTP (Introverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiver)

I'd say (by MBTI standards) that I'm an INTJ today.

'cause I've noticed how important it is

to be in time for your appointments.

Anyway, the third rule:

3. The secondary function will always be opposite of the dominant.

And the fourth rule:

4. The tertiary function will be the same rationality as the secondary, but in opposite version.

Confused yet?

Yeah, I'd say quantum physics

is easier to understand than all of this.

Anyway.

Neither Jung, nor the Myers Briggs Type Indicator does

does take in to account what would happen if you

had a person who doesn't follow

[these examples].

For example,

what would happen if you had a person with

an extroverted [dominant function] as well as

extroverted secondary function?

Could these people not exist?

Or is it just the MBTI-model that isn't adaptable to

these kinds of people.

Probably the latter.

Because the truth of the matter is

no ones psyche is as

static and rigid

as the one MBTI is proposing.

If functions really can be used to

explain the world we see around us

it has to take in notice

that some people are less adapted

to the world they live in than others.

People suffering from what we today call

"personality disorders".

They are regular people, just like everyone else.

Only that some aspects of their personality

doesn't play well with reality.

As of yet, there is no room in the MBTI-model for them.

Did you like this video?

Do you agree that MBTI should be scraped?

That all of you people following MBTI

should go follow the Big 5 personality test instead?

Leave a like, leave a dislike.
