Jeff Sessions Has Something Up His Sleeve That Chuck Schumer Is Going To Hate

Americans elected Donald Trump to crack down on illegal immigration.

He has lived up to his word.

Now Jeff Sessions has cooked up a secret weapon that Chuck Schumer and the Democrats are going

to hate.

Sanctuary cities are a threat to Americans.

Rogue cities allow illegal aliens to roam freely even if they have a deportation order.

This lawless situation came to a head when one illegal alien – who had been deported

multiple times, but always snuck back into the U.S. – murdered Kate Steinle on a San

Francisco pier in 2015.

He was acquitted of murder charges and set free.

That did not sit well with Donald Trump or Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Neilson testified before Congress that her agency

is working with the Department of Justice to bring criminal charges against the leaders

of sanctuary cities.

The Washington Times reports:

"HOMELAND SECURITY SECRETARY KIRSTJEN NIELSEN CONFIRMED TUESDAY THAT HER DEPARTMENT HAS

ASKED FEDERAL PROSECUTORS TO SEE IF THEY CAN LODGE CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST SANCTUARY CITIES

THAT REFUSE TO COOPERATE WITH FEDERAL DEPORTATION EFFORTS.

"THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE IS REVIEWING WHAT AVENUES MAY BE AVAILABLE," MS.

NIELSEN TOLD THE SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.

HER CONFIRMATION CAME AFTER CALIFORNIA'S NEW SANCTUARY LAW WENT INTO EFFECT JAN. 1,

SEVERELY RESTRICTING COOPERATION THE STATE OR ANY OF ITS LOCALITIES COULD OFFER.

U.S. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT DIRECTOR TOM HOMAN SAYS THOSE POLICIES PUT HIS OFFICERS

AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES AT MORE RISK BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO ARREST ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS OUT

IN THE COMMUNITY.

MR.

HOMAN TOLD THE WASHINGTON TIMES LAST JULY THAT HE WANTED TO SEE LOCAL OFFICIALS CHARGED

AS COMPLICIT IN HUMAN SMUGGLING IF THEY SHIELDED ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS THROUGH SANCTUARY POLICIES."

Trump has held onto his base because he backs up his campaign rhetoric with action.

Nowhere is that more true than with immigration.

The President rejected the Democrats amnesty legislation and his administration continues

to press forward on cracking down on illegal immigration.

This is terrible news for Chuck Schumer and the Democrats.

Their goal is to boot Trump from office after one term.

But if Trump continues to fulfill his promises, his base will be motivated to turnout and

he will win re-election.

Donald Trump Jr. has warned that America must not follow in Britain's fascist footsteps,

following the arrest and imprisonment of independent journalist Tommy Robinson.

On Sunday, Trump Jr. tweeted a reminder why the United States decided to declare independence

from Britain in 1776.

Thegatewaypundit.com reports: Robinson, 35, was arrested on Friday for suspicion of breaching

the peace while livestreaming to report on the trial of a child grooming gang and is

now serving 13 months in prison due to a previous suspended sentence in a similar offense.

Trump Jr. was quoting a tweet from Kurt Schlichter in which he warned that there are people who

want the UK's Orwellian political persecution to be happening in the United States.

The UK government had attempted to silence any conversation about his situation by issuing

restrictions against the press covering the case at all.

Unfortunately for their plan, they cannot control social media and the attempted silencing

appears to have had a Streisand Effect.

Robinson was arrested outside the Leeds Crown Court as he was covering the trial of 29 men

for offenses including child rape, trafficking, and supply of Class A drugs to children.

Supporters of Robinson immediately called for a protest and hundreds of people flooded

Downing St. to demand his release on Saturday.

Robinson is heavily focused on Islamic extremism and has had several run-ins with law enforcement

over his live streaming.

His suspended sentence stems from an arrest last year for contempt of court after trying

to film Muslims who had been accused of pedophilia outside a court

in Canterbury.
