Rumors resurfaced in May 2017, alleging that the changes in her image, her height and darker

song lyrics supports the conspiracies.

In 2014, the hitmaker tumbled down the charts after releasing the single, Hello Kitty, as

it prompted a PR disaster and she was also accused of racism and the singer not taking

the backlashes seriously fueled the rumors even more.

While dealing with various setbacks in her career, she also grappled with a health crises.

In 2014, she was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and she took time off the spotlight for recovery.

Later in 2015, in an interview with Billboard, she disclosed her plans on releasing a single

named, Fly, and a Christmas album but that never happened.

On the 25th of December 2016, she took it to Instagram to announce that she was working

on new music.

She was seen in a featured song, Listen, by the Japanese rock band, One Ok Rock, in their

album, Ambitions, released on January 11, 2017.

That same year in November, she signed with BGM and released a single, Baby It's Cold

As of now, she is all set to release her album sometime this year and is also ready to return

to the stage.

With a string of high-profile relationships, including her failed marriages with Deryck

Whibley and Chad Kroeger and long romances with Ryan Cabrera and Brody Jenner, Lavigne

continued to become a fixture in the tabloids.

Now, it seems like she is giving love another chance as she is currently dating Phillip

Sarofim, the son of Egyptian-American billionaire investor, Fayez Sarofim.

They reportedly first met through their mutual friends and have been seeing each other for

quite some time now.

The duo was spotted together for the first time in March 2018 in Los Angeles, while they

were out on a dinner date.

Arsenal has been handling a large blow in their bid to sign Steven Nzonzi after Rome

guarantees a deal with Sevilla, according to the report.

The Gunners new boss Unai Emery, who worked the French World Cup winner at the La Liga

Club, is interested in bringing the midfielder back to the Premier League.

However the 29-year-old is now being reported close to signing with Rome in a deal worth

over £ 29m.

However, they must sell the first Maxime Gonalons to take him to Italy.

Former midfielder of Lyon Gonalons, 29, drew interest from the Crystal Palace with the

materialized.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with Nzonzi for most of the summer but has been playing

more hardball than how much the club are willing to pay.

I served as a community college CEO for over 20 years.

Started my career as a faculty member teaching sociology

at a historically black college,

in Jarvis Christian College in Texas,

and then came to California where I started teaching

sociology as an instructor, professor,

at Riverside Community College.

I eventually moved into management

and became a community college superintendent president

in 1988 and served as a CEO for the next 20 years.

I retired in 2008 as Chancellor of the West Valley-Mission.

I firmly believe that I really understand

the role of trustees.

Trustees are there to provide direction.

They're there to provide a evaluation of the chancellor,

and to assure that the college is meetings its goals,

and to assure, what I think which is most important,

student success.

I believe that my experience as a community college

president reporting to a governing board for 19 years

have prepared me for this role

in the Maricopa Community College District.

I also learned that Maricopa doesn't receive

any state funding from the state of Arizona,

which is very sad.

And, I think one of the roles that trustees can play,

working collaboratively with all seven trustees

and the trustees throughout the state,

especially from Pima, and working with

the state legislature, working with the Governor,

to bring back funding to the community colleges

here in Maricopa.

So, I believe I have the skill sets,

I believe I have the knowledge,

and I'm prepared to assume this role

as the next trustee representing District Four.
