Outrageous!

Mueller Is Now Harassing American Citizens Who Legally Donated to Trump's Inauguration

Special counsel Robert Mueller is continuing his war against President Trump!

Now, he is harassing American citizens who legally donated to Trump's inaugural fund

because they have 'foreign connections.'

Via ABC: "According to a source who has sat with the Mueller team for interviews in

recent weeks, the special counsel is examining donors who have either business or personal

connections in Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

Several donors with those ties contributed large sums to the non-profit fundraising entity

– gifts that topped out at $1 million dollars, according to public records.

Special counsel investigators have also asked witnesses about specific inauguration donors,

including American businessmen Leonard Blavatnik, and Andrew Intrater, according to sources

familiar with the Mueller sessions.

Neither has been accused of any wrongdoing.

Blavatnik is a billionaire with dual U.S. and British citizenship who has extensive

business ties in Russia.

Blavatnik gave $1 million to the inaugural fund through his company, Access Industries,

according to FEC records.

Companies are prohibited from giving donations to political candidates, however, donations

to inaugural committees are not considered donations to candidates.

Intrater, an American relative and business associate of Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg,

runs a U.S. company with deep ties to Vekselberg's Russia-based global conglomerate, Renova Group.

Renova was recently sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department.

Intrater serves as the CEO of Columbus Nova, an investment company based in New York.

FEC records show Intrater made a $250,000 donation to the Trump inauguration committee

in early January 2017?"

Democrats just won't let go…

They don't investigate and prosecute for a crime, they investigate to find a crime

to prosecute.

It is a charade.

Mueller was hired to destroy and unseat Trump.

Democrats are desperate to get Trump on anything!!!!

They live by fictions.

But, we are interested in facts, and they haven't got any.

This is why this investigation needs to stop.

We American citizens get no benefit from it even though we are footing the bill.

Where is the outrage?

Congress is a sheep pen, and the shepherds are subversives doing everything they can

to obstruct everything that is good.

'Roseanne' show's Lanford is based loosely on Elgin. So how do they compare?

The season finale of ABC's hit reboot of "Roseanne" airs Tuesday night, and local fans of the show say it hits close to home for them.

Show star Roseanne Barr told the Hollywood Reporter in February that the working class sitcom's fictional setting of Lanford is based on Elgin.

The producers even conducted a focus group in Elgin before embarking on what is the 10th season for the show, which last had new episodes in 1997.

Fictional, gritty Lanford may be modeled after Elgin, but local residents said it's not really an accurate reflection of their hometown.

West side resident Jacki Vavrik, 56, said some settings on the show reminded her of mom and pop bars and restaurants in Elgin.

For the most part, though, the Conner family has yet to encounter the range of residents the city has, and their version of Elgin is more downtrodden than the city actually is, she said.

"There are positive things about Elgin, and there are beautiful things here, like Lords Park and the riverfront," Vavrik said.

Southwest side resident Vicky Lundy, 53, said she's picked up on some geographical errors in placing where Elgin would be, particularly in relationship to Chicago.

One episode implied that Chicago was so far away that one of Roseanne's granddaughter's couldn't afford to buy a bus ticket to the big city. Another has a branch of the University of Illinois in St.

Charles, which has a U of I extension, not a campus. Kim Lang, 41, of South Elgin noted that on the "Roseanne" reboot, "there are no Hispanics anywhere, which is a core element (of the Elgin area).

"Elgin is a little more diverse today than Lanford is," said former longtime Elgin resident Pete Sotos, 49, of Machesney Park.

Barr has made known that she voted for Donald Trump. On the show, her Roseanne Conner character also is a Trump supporter, while her sister, Jackie, was a Hillary Clinton backer.

Locals interviewed said they come from a variety of political viewpoints and noted that, after the first episode, national politics haven't been too much of a subject on the show.

"The writers seem to be more focused on family and the day-to-day struggles they face," west side resident Pete Hemauer, 51, said.

Amy Johnson, 63, of Elgin, said, "I like that the show has picked up some new themes like the grandson with sexual identity issues, the daughters and their relationship history problems, the interracial marriage of their son and the fact that his wife is in the military overseas.

Jill Samuel of Elgin, who is in her 40s, noted that the reboot "portrays a family with struggles. Struggles with money, struggles with acceptance, struggles with addiction, struggles that people of all walks can and do face.".

"On one episode, they had to decide how to care for their aging mother and on another Roseanne was concerned about her new Muslim neighbors. She had decided they were terrorists because they had a large stockpile of fertilizer.

She needed to come to grips with her feelings so she could make friends in order to use their Wifi," Johnson said. Lang said, "When my daughter watched the Muslim episode, she asked what the heck was wrong with Roseanne.

The reason she asked this is because I've raised my kids to respect all religions and people no matter what.and, if she has questions, to not be afraid to ask the person.".

Beyond the social issues, those interviewed said they enjoy and relate to how "Roseanne" depicts daily family life.

"I started my career as a blue collar worker just like (Roseanne Conner's husband) Dan in the show. I also went through the same financial struggles for a period of time as the family in the show does," Hemauer said.

Lang said she is recently divorced and now a single mom, so she could related to a recent episode in which "Darlene's daughter was showing behavior and respect issues and Roseanne was trying to take over … and that bothered Darlene.

"As a single mom — and for me, an only child — yes the grandparents are an integral part of my kids' lives. I loved this episode because Darlene set clear boundaries with Roseanne, at the same time teaching Roseanne.".

While the comparison of Roseanne's Lanford to Elgin may lack precision, most agreed that the show hits its primary goal: be funny. "We need to laugh at ourselves and lighten up. There's too much seriousness and tension in society today," Sotos said.
