Preparing for Summer. - Duration: 2:12.

Hi all.

We're getting to the time of year where outdoor and outside of home activities begin to roll

in and I'd like to talk about how to deal with them should you feel you need to participate.

If the activity is in early afternoon between 12:00 and 2:00 then you will do the opposite

of what it is that I'm going to be sharing with you.

What I'm talking about is something that starts six o'clock or later.

For lunch I want you to have a small salad and a fruit for dinner: salad, vegetables,

seven to eight ounces of protein.

Dinner to look forward to, you can enjoy it.

Now let's talk about a beverage.

Should you decide you're going to have a beverage then have it a half hour before the meal or

an hour after the meal reason the alcohol will be metabolized into sugar and used as

energy and if you drink it during the meal the energy will be used and the meal will

be stored as fat.

The key here is to understand that you've chosen to lose weight.

Here is a method of participating of enjoying yourself and always restart with two dairy

days to help buffer the damage you might have done.

Have a healthy, happy enjoyable summer.

I'll be talking to you soon.

Take care.

How To Find Inspiration For Your Strategic Account Planning - Duration: 3:55.

Hey team it's Warwick from Account Manager Tips Now we are talking about

visions. Now not the "I see travel in your future" Not that kind of vision

Not Madame Zelda at the tarot table. So I'm going to share

with you how to find inspiration from your clients vision statement to define

your strategic focus. Sit tight.

A vision is really just what do you want to achieve and what do you want to become?

It brings together your core values your

core purpose your core goals and ties them all together into one statement and

that one statement is to inspire to set stretch goals and to provide purpose

Now the secret to this (and there is a secret) is that almost every company has

published some sort of vision statement on their website and one of the really

great ways to connect with your customer and to align your business goals with

theirs is to really tap into their vision statement. Now the power of this

is it really resonates with your customer because it is what they live

and breathe. It demonstrates that you understand their business and you

understand their purpose and what they're looking to deliver and also it's

a very difficult argument for them to say no to you when you present something

that's very clearly aligned with their vision statement. How are they gonna say

"I don't think so" when you say "well it's on your vision statement on your website why

wouldn't you going for this?" I'm gonna show you two examples and then you know

for you why don't you just sort of think about how you might connect your

products and services if these were your customers? Now Amazon their vision is to

be earth's most customer centric company where customers can find and discover

anything they want to buy online.Break this down and you start to think okay

what does that mean? They're looking for global reach so if they were my customer

I'd be thinking how can I help them expand how can I help them grow or enter

new markets? "Customer-centric" customers are at the heart of

everything that Amazon does so how can you align with that? How do your products

and services have a customer-centric focus and how can you demonstrate to

them if Amazon were your customer? Now another one is Adobe. Their vision

statement a few years ago I'm not sure if it's still the same today was

revolutionize how the world engages with ideas and information

"Revolutionize" - that single word says to me that Adobe are risk takers. They're

bold they're ready to accelerate their innovation and that they're ready

to try new ideas and do anything to challenge the way that things are done

today. So if they were my customer I'd be looking to excite them with that same

type of mentality and really go for something that's a little bit out of

the box. Challenge them to do things differently to the way that

they've always done them. Creativity is obviously a big feature of

Adobe's vision and again they would obviously be really receptive to a creative

partnership and creative solutions and if you can come up with something that's

a little bit interesting why not present it? Engagement - you know that says

that they're interested in interactivity they're interested in fun they're

talking about experience more than just transactions but they want people to

feel something when they engage with Adobe's product how can you bring that

to your partnership with them if Adobe was one of your customers?

A really simple tip and one this can be really successful in helping you move from you

know a low-level partner to a trusted adviser to somebody that's really

generating loyalty and trust with your customer and credibility so go for it

let me know here you go I think it's a really great tactic. Now I'm always

interested in what you have to say and what you think so I would love it if you

would share any advice or feedback that you have in the comments below

Hit me up on the social media platform of your choice @WarwickABrown and please

How to Choose the Right dSPE for QuEChERS - Duration: 2:52.

Hi and welcome to this Restek Tip

where we will talk about dispersive solid phase extraction.

So you've just performed a QuEChERS extraction

and chances are your extract needs to be cleaned up.

And that's where dSPE or dispersive solid phase extraction enters the picture.

When you go look for dSPE products you're going to find that they are defined principally by the size of the dSPE tube,

the sorbents in the tube that will do the cleaning up, and how much of those sorbents are present.

Now, that means that there are a lot of products to choose from, so how do you know which is right for you?

When it comes to the size of the tube, just think about what are you going to do with that cleaned up extract?

If you're just going to take it and one tube makes one sample for one analysis, the smaller two milliliter tubes will be great.

But if you need to split that cleaned up extract to be spread across multiple analyses, for instance,

you may want to consider the larger 15 ml tubes.

They will give you plenty of final volume to work with.

Now, for the cleaning up. The sorbents. Which ones do you need?

You'll notice that all of the dSPE products have some quantity of magnesium sulfate

and that's there to clean up any residual water that may still be in the extract after the QuEChERS extraction step.

Now, if your commodity, which is what's going to drive the sorbent that you need,

has sugars or organic acids or fatty acids,

you'll want to look for a dSPE product that has the primary secondary amine sorbent (PSA).

That will do a great job of removing those from the sample.

Now, let's say your sample that you're analyzing is a fatty sample that has fats or waxes.

You'll need something nonpolar to pull those out

and that's where an end-capped silica coated with a C18 ligand, usually just called a C18 sorbent, will be perfect.

Now, finally, what if you have a highly pigmented sample?

Your extract has lots of color.

You'll want to get that out before analysis and that's where something like graphitized carbon black or GCB will do the trick.

And, depending on how much of those different components are in your sample, you might want more or less of any given sorbent.

And if you're just not sure, the great thing about QuEChERS is that it's relatively quick to give it a try.

So, get a couple of products, see what works best

at cleaning up your sample but not harming the recovering of your analytes of interest.

So, good luck with your QuEChERS extraction and clean up

and thanks for joining us for this Restek Tip.

Arsenal appointing Mikel Arteta is too much of a risk for the Gunners – Chris Sutton - Duration: 1:53.

Arsenal appointing Mikel Arteta is too much of a risk for the Gunners – Chris Sutton

Arteta appears to be the preferred choice of chief executive Ivan Gazidis and has emerged as the red-hot favourite.

Betfair offer odds of 1/3 on the Spaniard after Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri distanced himself from the running.

But Chris Sutton is sceptical about the former midfielder's chances.

"I think that Arteta would be, in the current circumstances, too much of a risk" Chris Sutton   "But I would suggest there are stronger candidates than Mikel Arteta.  "I think the fact that he has absolutely no experience in the role would be a concern.

"You look at the likes of Patrick Vieira, I think he's had two years now at New York City, or Nagelsmann at Hoffenheim, who took them to third this season – he's been strongly linked. .

"I think that Arteta would be, in the current circumstances, too much of a risk.

" While the 36-year-old remains the overwhelming favourite, Betfair rate Brendan Rodgers, Patrick Vieira and Luis Enrique as the other frontrunners.

CrossFit Rowing Workout - Rowing Workout For Beginners - Duration: 10:55.

what's up guys Carlo Macapinlac here from NewbieFitnessAcademy.com and in

this video we're gonna be doing a CrossFit Rowing Workout as always make

sure you like the video, hit that subscribe button below and prepare to

get sweaty. All right guys let's do a five-second countdown - three, two, one and

here we go alright so for this CrossFit rowing workout we're gonna do it as a

couplet and then it's gonna be a 10-minute EMOM. EMOM stands for every

minute on the minute in the world of CrossFit of 20 push-ups and 12 calories on

the rower so here we are on the first round there's gonna be lots

of juice on these legs so I should be able to do these twelve calories

pretty fast here so let's talk about work capacity here on the

rower so I decided to use 12 because you know I'm not the tallest guy if I go

like 15 or higher it's gonna take the entire minute for me to do the calories

on the rower and then it's gonna start eating up on the next minute and it kind

of defeats the purpose of the workout but if you're on the stronger side in

terms of the rower then definitely do 15 calories so you can scale up to 15

calories or even you can scale down to like maybe 10 calories every

minute alright so right now doing the push-ups here 20 push-ups

for me is something that I can do I don't weigh a lot so I can definitely

do 20 unbroken you know feel free to break that up maybe do like two

sets of ten even scale it down a little bit

if you don't have the capacity to do 20 for the minute just like the rowing

scale that down a little bit, that way you get a little bit of a break and

you should be able to maintain you know all the reps that you're doing for all

ten minutes all right so we have round two coming up here

and here we go so you know rowing you guys this is a CrossFit rowing

workout you know there's not much to it in terms of technique on the rower I

mean obviously you want to keep your back tight use your legs first

open up the hips and then finish the pull with the arms but other than that I

mean it's just one of those things where you know you gotta keep moving

pick a pace that you can maintain and then you know just pull on that handle

all right little you know kind of 15-second break here all right so that

is perfect for this EMOM right and then we're gonna set up for the push-ups I

still have you know lots of juice in my arms here so I'm still able

to do all my push-ups unbroken so the standard here we're gonna do it

facing this way - chest to deck and then lock out your elbows at the top

so you can see I'm starting to breathe a little heavy here but you know that's

okay that's perfectly normal gotta keep plugging away alright guys so

this is now the start of round three going back to your work

capacity for this workout you want to pick certain amount of reps

where for the rower you're working for about 35, 40, 45 seconds that

way you can easily transition you'll have enough time to transition

transition through the push ups

alright so that was 45 seconds so that was perfect

just enough time to catch my breath and then right into the push-ups here

starting to struggle a little bit here but I'm gonna hold on to that thing and

still go unbroken all right guys last two rounds

nice big pulls on the rower and make sure you're breathing

all right guys there's nothing new at this point of the workout

it's just about staying strong if you know you're starting to really fatigue

on these push ups then break them up I'd rather you guys do

good reps than kind of start doing the worm on these push-ups all

right it kind of defeats the purpose of doing it unbroken okay so break them

up if you have to I believe on the last round I'm actually gonna break them up

so we'll see

alright guys last round here we go last round of rowing right so nice big

pulls on that Rower you can kind of empty the tank at this point if you will

and last 20 push-ups for this workout so at this point my chest and arms are on

fire so I'm actually gonna break these up and that's totally okay so

small sets small breaks chip away and you'll be done

all right that's a wrap all right guys hope you enjoyed the video
