According to Oxfam, two-thirds of the

billionaires owe their fortunes to

inheritance, cronyism and monopoly.

But Oxfam is dead wrong...again.

They often are.

Aren't they watching this Dead Wrong series?

As Sam Dumitriu points out, this time they

make an infuriating illogical leap.

They think that just because there is

monopoly and cronyism in a particular

sector, they can treat all the income

generated in that sector as the result of

cronyism and monopoly.

For example, they include all the wealth

produced in corruption-prone countries.

They include all the wealth originating

from mining, oil and gas, no matter how

entrepreneurial and innovative the business is.

Astonishingly, they count as monopoly

fortunes all the money made in information

technology, law, finance and health care.

And all the money made by CEOs- if they

haven't founded the company themselves.

And it gets worse: the author of this

Oxfam study even thinks that the fashion

industry and the music industry are

monopolies because they are prone to fads.

By that standard, I guess even charity work

and Dead Wrong clips would be

counted as monopoly activities.

If we used Oxfam's own infuriating logic,

we would have to say that just because

Oxfam produced this stupid study, the

whole of Oxfam should be treated

as stupid and illegitimate.

thought put into it it seemed like every single piece of it was so well

constructed and so well thought out that it was just so abstract and so artistic

to begin with that you didn't really get it like his video was art this

oh my god this is the plagiarized version I wish that these and the thing

is that I'm a woman and I heard some of the stuff that they were saying about

rape and got to get a man and there were people that were twerking but I wish

that you know Gambino's video came out a week ago I really wish that they would

have taken some time to really taken some time to develop the idea of it do

you know you mean to really take the time to to create symbolism and

subliminal messages and stuff that correlated with the lyrics in such a way

that you had to really ingest it and and and do it over and over and over again
