Which Is Better - Real Estate Investing or Investing in Stocks? - Duration: 6:26.

Hey friends, Kris Krohn here. Steven Michael Miller. And today, in this episode

we're going to be talking about what's really better real estate or stocks? Hi

Kris, this is Carl and I want to know is it better to invest in real estate or in

stocks? Hey everybody Steven Michael Miller here and the question is, is it

better to invest in real estate or the stock market? Now, that's a loaded

question with a loaded answer. So I want to get right into it here for you and I

think really the crux of this comes down to really what your preference is. And I

know that's probably not the answer that you're looking for. You're probably

looking to me for me to say, as a real estate guy,

"hey real estate is the best thing for you to do."But I'm going to tell you a

couple things here. I have friends that are extremely successful in the stock

market. I have friends that are extremely successful in real estate and I have

friends that I've had failures in both right? I've kind of dropped out of

the bottom on both. And so I want to talk about why this is and as your kind of

contemplating this question do I really get in and dive into real

estate or do I dive into the stock market? There's a few things that you

want to be aware of. Number 1 - I want you to really dive in deep into yourself

and ask yourself the question where is my passion? In other words, what am I

really passionate about? Are you really passionate about real

estate? Do you like the tangible aspect of it that you can actually buy a

product? You know it's a real thing. It's land with a home on it. Do you

like that aspect of it? Do you like the the part of it where

you're maybe helping people or maybe you like stocks you like that it's a little

bit more a little less tangible? You know it's a little more ethereal. It's out

there. You're buying these parts of companies and sometimes these are

companies that are very profitable. Sometimes they're brand-new companies,

there's this game where you're buying and trading and selling all these

different stocks. So my question for you is first of all, what do you love? What is

your passion? If you can find out and identify where your passion is, I think

that's really important before you decide what you choose. Either real

estate investing or investing in the stock market. And the reason why you want

to have passion in there is because that passion is oftentimes going to be a

driver as to what type of expertise you acquire. If you're passionate about real

estate, then you're going to have the wherewithal. You're going to have to drive

to get after and learn as much about the real estate as you possibly can. Look,

there's no doubt about it that getting a mentor, getting someone who's been there

and done that to help you along the way is going to be one of the best ways that

you can go about getting your foot in the door and learning about what your

what you want to do here in real estate or or in the stock market. But if you're

passionate about it, it's going to drive you to do even more. It's going to drive you to

stay up at night and to learn more and that the pour over the books or two or

two pour into the the content of the programs that you're part of. To really

continue to ask questions, to get involved in the communities and

different things like that that are that are provided and offered in different

programs. If you have that passion, it's going to fuel you to move forward. Because

the reality is, is regardless whether you're into real estate or

you're into the stock market, you want to get after real estate or get after the

stock market. There are going to be bumps in the road. Now, again this isn't a topic

that's often talked about right? Oftentimes, we talk about the glam and

the the wonderful aspect of investing in real estate. But the reality is

real estate can you know, it can shake your world a little bit sometimes.

There are experiences that come up that are going to make you

question whether or not you're doing the right things sometimes. So you have to

have that passion, that fortitude to get in there learn and become an expert or

or learn the expertise from experts right? To soak it all in. So that when

those bumps happen, you've got that mental fortitude to stick it out because

the reality is, if you're looking to be profitable either in real estate or

in the stock market, when those bumps come up,

what really drives most people to get out of the game, is that when those bumps

come, it scares them. When those bumps come, they they get fearful. And that fear

drives action. That fear will drive the action to stop or to turn away and run

right? We get that fight-or-flight mechanism.

Sometimes the fight makes us want to stick it in and

just, "I'm going to make this happen" And sometimes, it's not the right attitude.

There are times where financially doesn't make sense and it is best to get

out but not on a fight-or-flight mechanism. Not out of fear but based on

expertise and passion and moving forward. So as you're deciding here, you know

what's best. Is it best for me to invest in in real estate? Is it best for me to

invest in the stock market. If you understand those things, if you

understand number 1, what your passion is, number 2, if you're willing to gain

expertise in those areas. Whether that's through reading and learning or watching

some of these YouTube videos or maybe that expertise is gained by getting a

mentor, joining a program, doing things like that. You want to make sure you get

that expertise as well. Backed by that passion. So that when those bumps come,

you're ready to push through. My belief is that either one can

be profitable. And actually, either one can be extremely profitable if you're

willing to apply the passion. Get the expertise and let those bumps not derail

you, but help you to gain more and more strength to push forward and to do

even more in those areas. So the question is what's better? Well the answer is it

really depends on you. What are you passionate about?

Do you love real estate or do you love the stock market? Can you get behind real

estate with everything that you are? Or are you going to get behind the stock

market with everything that you are? Make a choice and once you've made a choice,

just get after it. Hey, thanks so much for joining us today.

Hopefully Steve was able to really enlightened your mind with the

difference between real estate and stocks. And one of the things that we

'Now Your Tongue is Coded' BTS Clip | Inside the World of Sweetbitter | STARZ - Duration: 2:10.

Episode two is called "Now Your Tongue is Coded".

I did get the fortunate of writing this episode.

There's a moment in the book

that I always really wanted to use

in the first season

uh, where Tess uh, learns about

the different parts of her tongue and taste.

What do you taste?

It's quite sweet.

Mmm, on the front of the tongue.

That is where we taste sweet.

Now your tongue is coded.

Once you start to savor things,

that's when you begin to develop an actual palate.

And that's what's happening to Tess in this episode.

She's trying to discover what she wants

out of this experience.

Is it someone's birthday?

Shift drinks, happens every night.

It's the owner's way of saying, "Thank you."

Shift drinks was something

I could not wait to put into the show.

There's this like vibrating, sexual energy

[ exhales ]

because for us, for restaurant people,

the night's just starting.

I need you.

And we're ready to roam.

Is this Home Bar?

Yes.

Hey.

How'd you end up here?

What I imagined happening in that moment

that Jake takes her hand,

is that that wall starts to crack.

And it's something she craves.

And in this episode, she's watching this thing unfold

and these masks come off

and people start to reveal themselves.

- Here. - Oh, no.

Don't waste my friendship.

I think the most interesting part

is the journey that Tess is on in episode two

trying to figure out who people are,

to almost accidentally revealing herself.

Episode two is the very first, sort of,

you know, dip your toe into this world.

Do I wanna be a part of this, and I do.

Real Reason Ronda Rousey Is Facing Nia Jax REVEALED?! | WrestleTalk News May 2018 - Duration: 3:20.

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News, I am Luke Owen.

Last night Oli Davis and I attended Monday Night Raw live from London's O2 Arena.

We saw Kevin Owens wrestle three matches, Roman Reigns get booed, Elias get adored,

and met some super cool members of the Swaft Nation - but that wasn't all we saw.

We were actually sat a couple of rows behind a few of WWE's United Kingdom talent - some

of who will likely be involved in WWE's United Kingdom Championship tournament which

takes place on June 18th from the Royal Albert Hall.

The tournament will crown a new number one contender to Pete Dunne's United Kingdom

Championship, which will be defended the following night again in the Royal Albert Hall.

And WWE.com have now announced that the tournament will actually begin at the Download Festival

in Derby, with matches happening on all three nights.

WWE have only revealed one name for the tournament so far - Jack Gallaher - but Bryan Alvarez

on Wrestling Observer Live noted that WWE have contacted several other names to possibly

be a part of their UK division - including Joe Coffey , Dave Mastiff, El Ligero and Travis

Banks and Chris Brookes of CCK.

WWE.com has said that they will reveal everyone competing in the tournament on Wednesday and

Friday - so keep an eye out for that.

A more surprising announcement however came from yesterday's NBC Upfronts, where while

doing an interview with WWE about her WrestleMania match, Ronda Rousey was approached by Raw

Women's Champion Nia Jax who laid out a challenge for Money in the Bank in five weeks.

Rousey accepted, and the match was made official on last night's Raw.

The announcement came to the surprise of, well pretty much everyone, as the initial

reports where that Rousey would first go into a feud with Natalya, and another report said

that Rousey's first title match wouldn't be until Summerslam - allowing WWE plenty

of time to build up her in-ring credibility outside of just one WrestleMania match.

Twitter account WrestleVotes - who broke the news of WWE's dual branded PPVs and Roman

Reigns and Samoa Joe headlining Backlash *shudder*- have now revealed they've spoken to their

source in the company about why WWE moved Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax from Summerslam to

Money in the Bank, who replied: "they can't ignore Rousey for another PPV, don't want

her in the ladder match, & can't have her lose a qualifying match so they had no choice."

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio has posited that it could also be because WWE

have spent a lot of money on Rousey and want to get the most out of her - noting that she

was at the NBC Upfronts as she is seen as a big celebrity to potential WWE advertisers.

And speaking of choices and we presented all of our Pledge Hammers the choice of which

PPV Oli and I will review for the Patreon exclusive WrestleRamble Extra.

It was a tough and close race - with WWF Judgement Day 2000 beating TNA Sacrifice 2009 by just

one percent.

The podcast will be available early next month for all of our $5 and above pledge hammers

on Patreon.
