Motorola Moto G5 With Snapdragon 430 SoC to Launch in India Soon.

Motorola Moto G5 to launch in India soon Motorola Moto G5 Specs Price

Lenovo-owned Motorola is teasing their latest budget smartphone, the Moto G5 in India as

launching soon.

To recall, Motorola launched the Moto G5 along with Motorola Moto G5 Plus

last month at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona, Spain.

Recently, the company pulled the wraps of the Moto G5 Plus in India starting at a price

tag of Rs. 14,999.

And now, the Moto G5 will be launched in India with a smaller price

tag.

All said, the Moto G5 will go against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 3s and Lenovo K6 Power

in India as they are currently the best selling smartphones in the sub-Rs. 10,000

price bracket.

As far as the specifications go, we saw the Moto G4 coming with almost similar specs of

the Moto G4 Plus, sans the fingerprint sensor and

downgraded camera.

But, that isnt the case with G5 series as the Moto G5 is aimed at taking on entry-level

phones carrying entry-level specifications, whereas the Moto G5 Plus is

targeted at ruling the mid-range segment.

The Moto G5 features a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430

chipset, which is an octa-core chip clocked at 1.4GHz.

Aided with the chipset is 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/3GB storage.

Right now, there are no details on which variant will make it

to India, or maybe Lenovo might launch two variants, same as the G5 Plus.

The phone also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot for

storage expansion up to 128GB.

Interestingly, the Moto G5 comes with a fingerprint sensor integrated into its home button, that

can also be tuned to perform several actions.

The Moto G5 features a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF along

with a 5MP front-facing camera that can also capture wide-angle shots.

The phone boots Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and comes armed with a 2800mAh battery that

is rated to deliver a complete day battery life.

The phone also has fast charging capabilities.

Currently, there are no details regarding the pricing of the phone, but were expecting

it to be priced under Rs. 10,000 to compete with the rivals.

Currently Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime is retailing at 8999 INR and Lenovo K6 Power is available

at 9999 INR.

Bhai Sangare - Is 'Shivshakti and Bhimshakti' possible? (1998) - Duration: 38:00.

Does Shivashakti refer to Shankar's staff?

Shivashakti refers to the power of the Chattrapati [Shivaji]

And Shivashakti refers to the power of the Shiv Sena

Which of these powers are we to establish a healthy dialogue with?

There has come to be an understanding in Maharashtra that the Shiv Sena means Shivashakti

And this Shivashakti is the Chattrapati's Shivashakti

Truth be told, this is a misconception

That the power of the Shiv Sena is the power of Shivaji Maharaj, is something I absolutely do not accept

We are all brothers yet our queues for food are segregated?

We are all 'together' yet segregation is practised?

I do not believe in superficial change

Is a man changed because he changes his clothes?

Our Vithu Kamble had come for Bhim Jayanti with his father

Old father, dressed in a dhoti

Son walks ahead in a safari suit, father is left behind

Asked him, "What's this?"

He said, "Brought my father, to see the jayanti"

I said, "Then why is he behind you?"

He said, "What, Bhai, he's wearing a dhoti na"

"Mine is a safari suit. We don't match"

I asked the father, I said, "Paanba, when did you arrive?"

He said, "Arrived just yesterday. Off to see the jayanti."

I said, "Yeah I told your son, what is he saying?"

I asked him, I said, 'Baba, you've been left behind, your son has gone ahead? Then?'

Your son said, 'The thing is, my father's is a dhoti and my safari suit doesn't match, that's why I've left him behind'

He [the father] said, 'Bhai, does that idiot know, that his safari suit was born from this very dhoti?'

Does changing clothes, change a man?

This is not how change happens!

One should pay attention to where the safari suit came from

About what should this healthy dialogue be?

Balasaheb and I have had a relationship for the past several years, you may not be aware of this, Uddhavrao may also not be aware of this, perhaps

Nilubhau Khadilkar, Balasaheb and I have sat together for three nights in a row, in Minatai's presence...all night long

When I arrived here, I saw Anand Dighe and it reminded me of times gone by

There was a performance of a play on Mahatma Phule and Balasaheb said, 'Bhai, you and Nilubhau come for the play'

Bhau and I arrived there, at that guesthouse…

Anand was slightly…(gestures)…now, because of power, he has grown

Balasaheb introduced me, 'A leader of the Dalit Panther'

Extremely patient, peaceful demeanor, even today, I don't see much of a difference

He is quiet, just like that

This was the first meeting

That way, we've spoken several times over the phone, but today is our second meeting

Till today, apart from his physique, there hasn't been much of a change in Anand

The point is, Anand and I have a good relationship to this day...

Balasaheb and I have a good relationship, even today...Uddhavrao and I have a good relationship

Of course there is a healthy dialogue between us

But this is a superficial healthy dialogue...

...when it comes to the question of positions, the question of principles, the Shiv Sena and I just don't agree

Absolutely don't agree...how can we agree? How?

Balasaheb has already said that Bhimshakti and Shivshakti should come together

I said to him, Balasaheb, I am ready...

but I have one condition...

...you should let go of your obsession with Hindutva; let go of Hindutva...

...there will be no obstacle to Shivshakti and Bhimshakti coming together

Hindutva is a separate matter…it's not possible

How can we participate in Hindutva? What is there?

When religion comes in contact with Hindutva…

and that religion which has destroyed thousands of generations of Dalits…

...any ideology which bears relation to such a religion will not be accepted by me, my party…even my father won't accept it

Even though our dialogue and relationships may be good…

...because finally the the question is of principles, just saying that we are brothers, won't do

Such superficiality won't do

An alliance just for the sake of elections won't do

An alliance made solely for power, is an alliance of opportunists

Because there, the object is power...they don't have faith in a change of heart

Man must change...how will this Maharashtra be constructed?

That Chattrapati Shivaji Raje, whose name is invoked by you when ruling...

What do we do in his name today?

Which Chattrapati is dear to you and dear to me?

In public meetings, Balasaheb refers to Muslims pejoratively as 'the circumcised'

If the Chattrapati even chanced upon a copy of the Muslim's Quran, he would reverentially return it to the Muslims

Look at the difference

The Chattrapati said, 'Even if I lose my life, it will do, but the country should be saved'

Balasaheb said, 'If somebody even touches a single hair on my body, the entire country will rise up in anger'

Take note of the difference

A healthy dialogue about what?

We are engaging in an intellectual reflection

A healthy dialogue about what?

There should be a healthy dialogue about positions

It is not enough to just fill people's stomachs

Balasaheb and I ate together at his house, she served me food, Minatai…

...I have maintained this relationship…still hold it dear to me

I have a good relationship with almost all of the ministers from the Shiv Sena, even today

Especially Gajabhau, who I have been friends with for the last 25 years, since he was at the Reserve Bank

The question is not of friendship...The question here, the issue, is not of superficial friendship but of change

Is Balasaheb Thackeray going to let go of Hindutva?

Let go of the company of the BJP?

I don't find Balasaheb's Hindutva fearsome, because all of Balasaheb's Hindutva is on the tip of his tongue

I am afraid of the BJP

This BJP's Hindutva is poisonous...

...with this poison…Balasaheb was not always Hindutvavadi, I say this for your information...

Many people are not aware of this…the Balasaheb that we see today, was not always this way

When we met at Sena Bhavan…

Balasaheb, Savarkar, Manohar Joshi, Vishvanaathji Maharaj and Vikrambhau Savarkar…our meeting was on

And so the discussion started, I was asked two questions

He said, 'Bhai, what is your position on family planning?'

I said, 'Babasaheb has already said that if this country is to thrive, the population growth must be controlled'

And he asked, 'What is your opinion on cow slaughter?' I said, 'About cow slaughter?'

Arre I said' I am a Buddhist…why not all slaughter, why should we only save the cow?

For what should the cow be saved? Save all animals! Why should only cow slaughter be prevented?

Because she is helpless? Because she gives good milk? Because she is useful? For what should she be saved?

Meaning the cow should be saved but her son should be killed?

I am opposed to killing itself!

I believe in all life

That is why I am also opposed to cow slaughter

Savarkar was enraged, stood up

Started speaking rapidly in his own style...his face turned red

Balasaheb restrained him, said, 'Savarkar, this is not the way in which to conduct a discussion'

Several such incidents are flashing before my eyes today

A healthy discussion about what…should be decided

I am not afraid of the Shiv Sena...absolutely not

I don't know how you see Balsaheb but I have seen him very closely

If a deep friendship is to be struck, it is with such a man... once he gives his word, no compromise. Nothing doing

I've seen it

The village may be good...

...but to hell with the outcastes

The question here is of healthy dialogue

Our friends from Bhimshakti…on seeing all of this, I said to them,

Bhimshakti has considerable power…this is the first time I've seen this much preparation. I was surprised

Our people can make such elaborate preparations!

I was surprised to see the devotion here... this is the first time I'm seeing this…what's going on…where am I?

We have nothing like this, baba

We keep it spontaneous…chairperson arrives, and we start

Seeing everything systematic here, I wondered if I've arrived at Bhimshakti or somewhere else…I was confused

Be that as it may…thanks to that, atleast they've started a good initiative

I had already told them, see, I am frank

Is Uddhavrao coming? They said yes

I told them, 'Bhau, I am capable of saying anything'

They said, 'We don't mind, Bhai. No problem'

So this issue, if a great Maharashtra is to be created...

...then it will not do for you to just change your clothes, there must be a change in your heart

I am not one to expect superficial change, and my organisation has the intellectual foundation of Babasaheb Ambedkar...

...there is an intellectual tradition, we have been living it generation upon generation

And that is why when (a discussion about) intellectual traditions is started...

...then my intellectual tradition, the tradition of Babasaheb Ambedkar's Republican Party...

... and the intellectual tradition of the Shiv Sena…whether their's is an intellectual tradition at all, is a question for later…

...whether the Shiv Sena has an intellectual foundation, is a question for later

Earlier on, kaka made a reference to the alliance between the Shiv Sena and the Republican Party in 1972

But then, the Shiv Sena had not set out with Hindutva. It belonged to the Marathi people

I am not in the habit of hiding my motives

We speak freely

The Buddha said, 'samya sankalpa'

'Samyak drushti'-say it as it is. Hide nothing

One should present it as one sees it

Just because there is an important man before you, you change your positions…this should not be done

Let it be known…

...they should also understand, my people should understand, what it is that you are doing

There were two drunkards that I met earlier at the intersection

You know, drunkards

We just came from there

He was completely drunk. He said, 'I want to go listen to Bhai Sangare speak'

'It is the first time that Uddhavrav Thackeray and him are coming together. Something fun will happen'

He said, 'Even I want to listen to Bhai's speech, he is coming to Thane after a long time' Completely drunk

One guy said 'but I dont know the address'. The other said, 'I know the address!'

The first said, 'then why don't you tell me?'

The other said, 'But first tell me, where am I standing?'

First, ask yourself, where you stand

One should first find out where one stands!

Where one goes from there, comes later…first, ask yourself, where you stand

And until we don't understand where we stand, how can we undertake the journey?

How will we ever have a healthy dialogue?

A healthy dialogue cannot be constructed by just speaking sweet words…

The bile within should come out. The poison inside you should come out

You feed the snake milk at nagpanchami, don't you? Wonderful!

But if the snake enters your home after nagpanchami, do you venerate it?

You immediately get a stick to hit it

Arre isn't it a god? Then why don't you allow it to come close! You don't!

He's a god only on nagpanchami!

Later, he becomes a ferocious tiger?

Such fraud won't do. No, nothing doing! This won't do.

The alliance that we had with the Congress…one day I was at a meeting at Shivaji Park

I can't remember whether Neelam tai was present at that meeting

Sudharkarrao was the Chief Minister

And my speech started, I said, 'Sudharkarraoji, there is no need...

...(for you) to think that we have allied with the Congress because we think that it will do a lot of good for Dalits'

I say the same thing today

...that we don't go with the Congress because it is doing great work for the Dalits

The brick is softer than the rock

that is why we took such a decision

Sena, BJP people eat like this (gestures), Congress people eat like this (gestures)

That is the only difference. What other difference is there?

When Marathwada (University) was renamed, 40 of us were with Sharad Pawar

I said to Sharadrao, How do you curse the Shiv Sena and BJP, accusing them of being casteist?

Are you any less casteist?

During the Marathwada riot, when Dalit homes were burnt to ashes, was it the Shiv Sena's people, then?

They were your people!

Look at what you're saying?

The Shiv Sena came later

And now the Shiv Sena of Marathwada, Vidarbha…whose Shiv Sena is that?

Sharadrav, ask the big people in your party, who provided the inspiration for the Shiv Sena?

Who made the the Shiv Sena big?

Now Bhasmasur has been created, and as soon as he places his hand on your head, the Shiv Sena becomes casteist?

It is you who nurtured it

To kill an enemy, you raised them

Now that they have become so big, they have started swallowing you, you have started to feel afraid, off runs Indra...

arre this Bhasmasur is out to place his hand on my head

You have to be aware of where you stand

And this is why, we must think about these things

Maharashtra as it stands today, was made pure by two Shudras

Two Shudras!

One Shudra, Chattrapati Shivray and the second Shudra...

Babasaheb Ambedkar

Yes, Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a Shudra I don't say this, Gaga Bhat has said this

You have written this down in history

His coronation was not performed They were not allowing Shivaji's coronation to be performed!

What does Maharashtra's tradition tell you?

What happened to Tukarambuva?

He was drowned in the Indrayani, you committed 302 (section 302, IPC) against him and you say he went to Vaikunth?

Literally 302

What happened to Dnynadev?

He created the Dnyaneshwari, at the age of 16…

in his 16th year, such a young child, young boy, does he take samadhi?

Who are you fooling?

Is anybody thinking about this?

Why did he take samadhi?

Was he of the age to take samadhi?

Was his work complete?

He writes on Dnyaneshwari and then it's done?

Then why did he take Dnyaneshwari (samadhi?), is my question

Across Maharashtra, those that conduct discourses on the Gita..this is my question to them...

...answer this question…why did Dnyaneshwar take samadhi

What was the reason for Dnyaneshwar taking samadhi?

His parents, tired of your torture, had committed suicide

Then why did Dnyaneshwar Maharaj take samadhi?

The matter of the Dnyaneshwari comes later

The Buddha said, find the cause behind the source of your suffering and destroy those causes

The Buddha did not say 'Do away with suffering.' He asked us to find it's cause

The bomb blast happened in Mumbai and our Sharadrao set off to catch Dawood

I said, 'Why are you going after Dawood Ibrahim, Sharadrao, pay heed to the Buddha once more'

He said, 'What is the Buddha doing here, in the midst of this bomb blast?'

I said, 'The Buddha is present here.' The Buddha said, 'Find the cause behind the source of your suffering'

Find the reasons why the bomb blast happened

Dawood isn't mad to leave gold smuggling and set off bomb blasts

Find the reasons why the bomb blast happened and when you do...

...then Dawood Ibrahim will not be the accused…

then, Lal Krishna Advani will be the accused

If the Babri Masjid hadn't fallen, then the bomb blast wouldn't have happened

Are we thinking about this?

On which matter will the confluence happen?

Are we going to think a little or not?

Just because it has been said somewhere…

Lord Buddha is the first…the first great man in the whole world who said...

...that what I say is not the truth Is it a joke?

Which founder of a religion has said this?

The Buddha is the first to say 'What I say is not the truth'

The truth is that which you experience

Only that which can be proven by logic, is the truth

Just because the Buddha says something must you believe it?

And that is why Babasaheb rejected hearsay…

...that the Vedas said…that everything has come from above

What happened the other day there, in Delhi?

That the Vedas and Upanishads must be introduced in primary schools?

Those insisting upon the Vaidiks, insisting upon the Vedas, are not Bharatiya!

We say of Sonia Gandhi, that she is an alien. She is from 'there'

She is foreign

Are those insisting upon the Vedas Hindustani? Are they Bharatiya?

You should read a little. You must read Only if you read, will you be saved

What is in the Vedas?

I read this in one of the Vedas…

Someone's cow was giving a lot of milk

The mantra from the Vedas-let that cow's milk dry up and give my cow milk instead

Where are we going?

It's the 21st century and where are we going? We are going to the moon. And you are taking (indistinct)

For what?

That which has no connection with the common people…you insist on that language, Sanskrit…

What connection does it have with the mind of the people?

Dnyaneshwar translated the Gita into Marathi, what did you say?

the Vedas emerged from the mouth of a buffalo?

Who are the buffalos?

Bahujan Samaj Our foolish society

Ignored Marathi?

Whatever knowledge we have, is hidden in Sanskrit

Leave everyone, a fool

Made fools of you after all

They say and you listen

Subtitle

This is where progress should happen, all this should change.

Just invoking the name of Chattrapati Shivaji Raja is not enough, brothers

Shivaji was Shivaji A great man of great strength

His was an army of Mavlas…

Mavlas…

Mavlas devoid of caste

When Shivaji Maharaj escaped from Agra...

...when he came out of that box...

the man who slept on his bed, was also a Muslim soldier

Why should this politics of hate be practised?

A nation does not become strong on the foundation of religion, brothers and sisters

No nation on the face of the earth has become great on the basis of religion

We declare, 'Say proudly, that we are Hindu'…is being Hindu something to be proud of?

What should one be proud of?

Who is Azharuddin?

A Muslim

He doesn't fight for muslims. He fights for Bharat!

Who does he fight for?

He doesn't fight for Muslims He fights for Bharat!

PT Usha?

Who is she?

Who does she fight for?

She doesn't fight for her caste but for her country

Abdul Hamid fought against Pakistan!

The country of his religious peers

Like a bull, he went…destroyed the tanks and they were defeated!

That Abdul Hamid was a Muslim!

Fought for Bharat!

Against whom?

Against Pakistan

Think a little?

Understand a little

Man...doesn't just survive on food

He has a brain, intellect

Man doesn't just survive on bread...

...and that is why there must be change from the bottom to the top

Just changing your clothes and engaging in a superficial friendship yields nothing

If friendship is to be made, then it should be done properly, one must change, completely

You tell us, 'Bhai, change in this way'…we will try

But until you don't realise that you must change, how can we even engage in dialogue?

And how will a 'healthy' dialogue even be possible?

And that is why the concept of this healthy dialogue is good…I liked it, which is why i said I will come

Because finally, somewhere…Maharashtra has to be rescued

Somewhere, Maharashtra has to be conceptualised differently

But in Maharashtra, a Maharashtra of ideas must be constructed...

…a Maharashtra of religion won't do Constructing a communal Maharashtra won't do

Religion does not teach us to bear ill-will among ourselves

Then if religion does not teach ill-will, why do you?

The Babri Masjid was demolished…

...for Ram?

I asked Advaniji, what have you to do with Ram?

He said, 'No, Bhai, I am a Jhulelal wala (Sindhi)'

Then why did you bring the agenda of Ram?

He said, 'We had to bring the agenda of Ram...'

'...because I want Delhi and here, people are mad. They go crazy in the name of Ram'

That is why I brought Ram in the middle

The use of Ram, the use of religion for power…for Delhi?

Religion is a delicate subject

It is a pure thing

You brought that into the bazaar? Onto the road?

Why do we do this?

For power?

And that is why they demolished the Babri Masjid

'Religion is the opium of the masses,' said Marx

I made a slight alteration to this

I said…

I am not such a great man but this is what felt right to my intellect…

How can religion be the opium of the masses?

Religion is not the opium of the masses because opium intoxicates and religion does not, then how could it be opium?

Religion is not opium, religion does not bring intoxication

Faithlessness is opium

The Babri Masjid was demolished...

not by those who are religious, my brothers

but by the faithless

It intoxicates, faithlessness intoxicates

Religion does not intoxicate

What happened in the Kumbh Mela the other day?

A fight between sadhus? People assaulted with trishuls? Arre aren't you sadhus?

The police bureau statement says...

...'wanted' gentlemen, openly dressed as sadhus…

...but because they are dressed in saffron, we are unable to catch them

Where are we going?

We don't think?

We don't care?

How…what will become of this country?

You want to make the country great in the name of religion?

(gets chit)

The note isn't about stopping…it's about something else…

No but I am going to end, Uddhavrav is also to speak

I won't take a lot of time

Our…the founders of Bhimshakti Abhimanyu Sankal and Aabasaheb Saste…

they are very hardworking…it is their expectation that it shouldn't be lost

Is it the effort that shouldn't be lost or the man…

Which of these, I am not quite sure of

But brothers and sister, my objective behind saying this was…

Today, in the Shiv Sena, my Shiv Sainik, all, my friends…he is my brother…

We are all members of the Mandal Commission commission All under the Mandal Commission

(Audience member leaves) Let him go, if he needs to…he waited quite a while

The Mandal Commission was announced…look at how we think. This is my request…

What I am saying is not meant to be critical…somewhere, this should be examined…

Somewhere, this should be thought over

Only then will our friendship be cemented…otherwise, a superficial friendship…curses the moment one turns ones back…I don't want such a friendship.

All the Shiv Sainiks of the Mandal Commission are our members

Balasaheb opposed the Mandal Commission

but no Sainik of the Shiv Sena opposed it…

this is the goodness of their organisation

We are members of the Mandal Commission…our Sainiks know this

For what are we doing this?

Balasaheb's strength…

This is the first such organisation in Maharashtra

In the history of Maharashtra This is a big thing

One man…for so many years…his rule…without opposition

It's a big thing. I appreciate it. Really. It is really a miracle. It's not a joke.

Goodness must be acknowledged. I am not interested in pointlessly criticising

Goodness...what is good, must be acknowledged.

Goodness can only be acknowledged by one who is good…otherwise one cannot acknowledge it

This is the goodness of the Shiv Sena. This is not just opinion…

I was sitting with Balasaheb, back then, at Sena Bhavan

They wouldn't let me in

Thakur was there…might still be, perhaps…I haven't been there in a while

I said to Thakur, 'Just…' He said, 'No. Saheb is busy. They are all sitting in the Common Hall'

I said, 'I just…just tell him that Bhai Sangare has come'

He delivered the message

Back then, I used to smoke

See...how our relationship kept growing

The Balasaheb you see and the one I do…let me tell you a little bit

He said, 'Arre call him' I went

Didn't I tell you earlier? About Vikramdas Savarkar's meeting…this is the beginning

People like Babandada, elders were sitting there

I went in. Balasaheb stood up, as did the others

Balasaheb was sitting on his…throne

He said to me, Bhai, two minutes, sit there I was seated there

And you'll be shocked…I was smoking

Nobody had the courage to smoke in there

I found this quite surprising

Balasaheb asked for me to be given an ashtray

I realized only later that Balasaheb doesn't do this for anyone

He might have done it out of love, perhaps I stubbed the cigarette

Balasaheb would never leave his seat

He got up and came to where I was and started a discussion

In the mean time, Amarnath Patil arrived

He had some complaints about me. I told him (Balasaheb). And Balasaheb said only this much...

'Amarnath, you recognize him, don't you, Bhai Sangare. Let there never be another complaint'

Matter over Topic over

This presentation, this style…this unique experience, impressed me

Perhaps it is for this reason that we still have a good relationship

We have continued to maintain this relationship

When our Namaantar (renaming) struggle started, we took Athavle there

This is extremely honest…actually, you don't know what these internal workings are

Balasaheb…is an extremely open minded person…I'm not sure how people made him 'this'

An extremely open minded, clear headed man

We were having a good discussion

Balsaheb said that he was ready to travel with us, over the issue of Namaantar Upto Marathwada

Athawle said that Sharad Pawar is to be included

He (Balasaheb) said, 'Take him if you want to but I am ready to come with you'

This happened, our meeting ended, Balasaheb was seeing us out, just when Minatai appeared

As he took leave of us, he asked her ' Did you recognize him?', as he looked at me

'Yes,' she said, 'Bhai, lately you haven't been coming to our house'

Our people were shocked...

...and wondered how we could have such a deep relationship

I told Athawle, 'Baba, we have had a relationship for a long time. Don't worry'

I am revealing this to you intentionally…

Balasaheb spoke to us about the Namaantar issue extremely freely, agreed to travel with us

Balasaheb's statement in the newspaper the next day, however, was changed

I was shocked How did this happen?

But later I understood that perhaps, a call might have come from Manohar Joshi in Nagpur, saying...

'Balsaheb what are you doing? If you travel with them, our Sena in Marathwada and Vidarbha will XXX; how did you make such a decision?'

And after this, perhaps that position might have changed Only that day's statement had appeared completely and properly in Navashakti

I told you earlier, didn't I?

Balasaheb is an open minded man

But that somebody might have put him in this position, is something I suspect to this day

And that is why, when we think of constructing this healthy dialogue…

Today, there is a coalition government

We see the condition of the backward classes

No no…it troubles me a lot

A person from the backward classes doesn't enter the temple! He is shooed away

He feels scared…our work doesn't happen…

It's terrible what's happening there! We must also think about what we are doing all this for

I should believe that this coalition government is our government

But this doesn't happen

And so when we have this healthy dialogue...

...the hurt behind it must not just be made better…it must be cured

That is when a healthy dialogue will be good

And that is why, brothers and sisters...

I said all this today because Uddhavrao is before us

I told you this entire history only for this and that is, because Uddhavrao is before us today… Maharashtra's caretaker of the future

He should also properly understand the sorrows and difficulties of Dalits

Like Jyotiba...

...went before that queen and said…the others went in suits, in boots

Jyotiba went in a dhoti

He said, 'Bai, all these who are here…this is not Bharat. Bharat is like this'

Uddhavrao should understand that the Republican Party which he is presenting to you, is not so, but so

These are our sorrows

This is our say

These are our demands

And if our demands are possible, then there is no harm in friendship

But here is where we insist

And that is why, brothers and sisters…forgive me for taking so much of your time...(indistinct)

As I take your leave, this is what I request Uddhavrao

In fact, he should let go of this obsession with the BJP at the earliest if only for this reason...

In any case, he will let go of it…I'm not too worried…

The thing is, now there's something quite different at play here…

he will tell you in his own way…

but let go of the obsession with the BJP...

...because there the BJP is pushing to amend the Constitution

And the Constitution is our life and soul

No compromise

Now it isn't that this Constitution was written for me-not just for Dalits

It was written for all citizens of India

Even a single scratch on the Constitution...

...is like a scratch on our heart

And that is why, these people who pray that the constitution be amended…

...you sit with them…this fact is bound to disturb us

How will we keep faith? Nahi chalega! No, no nothing doing

How will we accept the BJP?

Those that have decided to destroy the country…

…in their role of destroying the country...

...in their sin…

Balasaheb, Uddhavrao, you would not participate…this is our second request

And the third and final request…

If you really want to create a Maharashtra with goodness like Prabhodhankar, then you too...

...Balasaheb told me of this memory…

When Prabhodhankar was alive...

...he carried out his own funeral procession

Balasaheb told me, told us-Nilubhau and I were there

That is one you call Prabhodhankar

If we want to create that same goodness in Maharashtra...

...then again, I request, that you let go of the obsession with Hindutva...

Hindutva is going to destroy this country...

Hindutva just cannot be nationlism

Hindutva is not nationalism...

...Bharatiyatva is nationalism

Bharat too was a king of this country, there is no need to object to his name

Had Hindutva been a term devoid of religion, we would still have accepted it

But that name which is related to religion, is a name which, no matter how nicely you clarify it...

...no matter how you twist the word Hindutva to explain its meaning…

…even then, for the common man, if you say Hindutva...

...he understands that this is a name related to that religion...

...and our opposition is for this, for this very reason

Indistinct

Another Chota Pakistan would have been formed

Sikhistan would have been formed

Indistinct

And such is the Buddha that Babasaheb Ambedkar accepted; did this country a favour...

...and that is why, we…

I went a bit off topic...

there is no cure for that…that is my personality- a little crooked

but Uddhavrav should understand this…

Our sorrows, our say...

we are straight from every angle

There is this doll...

...throw it here, it goes straight...there, it remains straight

It is like that with me…

On any stage...amongst the blue, even amongst the saffron, I am blue, even amongst the yellow, I am blue

Blue is so mixed in with my blood that it is not possible to come out of it, if I did, then I would gasp for breath like a fish

we have taken the colour of the blue sky for this reason alone...

...so that all of human society may remain infinite like the blue sky...

...where man can just be man Here, no caste and no religion, etc.,

this is the expectation with which I have presented all of this before you

Indistinct

SCC TechTalks 2017 Speaker Anthony Radzykewycz - Duration: 18:27.

NOW WE'RE HERE FOR WHAT YOU'RE REALLY HERE FOR.

AND ONE OF THE THINGS THAT I LOVE ABOUT BEING ABLE TO

HELP PUT ON THIS EVENT IS I GET TO KNOW ALL OF THE SPEAKERS.

I GET TO HEAR THEIR IDEAS AND THEIR PASSIONS AND WHY

THEY WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE AT STANDING ON A SCARY

STAGE IN FRONT OF SO MANY PEOPLE.

BUT EACH PERSON I LEARN SO MUCH FROM THAT I CAN'T

WAIT TO LEARN EVEN MORE FROM.

AND YOU'RE GOING TO GET TO LEARN FIRST FROM ANTHONY RADZYKEWYCZ.

ANTHONY IS GATEWAY FACULTY FROM GATEWAY COMMUNITY

COLLEGE, BUT NOT ONLY HAS HE BEEN GATEWAY FACULTY,

BUT HE STARTED THERE AS A STUDENT.

HE TUTORED THERE ALREADY INTERESTED IN

TEACHING AND TECHNOLOGY.

AND NOW HE IS FACULTY AT GATEWAY SHARING HIS

KNOWLEDGE WITH OTHER STUDENTS.

HE HAS A PASSION FOR TECHNOLOGY.

AND HE'S A BIT OF AN INNOVATOR AND A RISK TAKER.

I FOUND THAT HE LIKES TO TRY NEW THINGS IN HIS

CLASSROOMS AND SOMETIMES THEY WORK FABULOUSLY, AND

SOMETIMES THEY DON'T.

AND THAT'S A LESSON THAT WE ALL CAN LEARN FROM

ANTHONY, BECAUSE TAKING RISKS WITH OUR STUDENTS

AND TAKING RISKS IN OUR CLASSROOMS REALLY HELPS US

BE ABLE TO CONTINUE TO INNOVATE AND TRY NEW THINGS.

AND OUR STUDENTS ARE USUALLY REALLY EXCITED

JUST TO TRY SOMETHING NEW.

ANTHONY HAS BEEN REALLY INNOVATIVE IN GAMING IN

THE CLASSROOM, AND YOU'RE GOING TO LEARN ABOUT HIS

LATEST INNOVATION PROJECT IN JUST SECONDS.

SO PLEASE JOIN ME IN WELCOMING ANTHONY RADZYKEWYCZ

TO THE STAGE.

TESTING. CHECK.

HI. WE'RE LIVE.

AS YOU HEARD, I'M ANTHONY RADZYKEWYCZ.

AND TODAY I'M GOING TO SHARE WITH YOU MY

EXPERIENCES OF IMPLEMENTING VIRTUAL

REALITY IN THE CLASSROOM.

BUT BEFORE WE GET STARTED I JUST WANTED TO SHARE A

LITTLE BIT OF MY EXPERIENCE, MY BACKGROUND,

BEFORE JUMPING INTO THIS PROJECT.

SO TODAY I'M SPEAKING TO YOU AS THE LINUX PROGRAM

LEAD INSTRUCTOR AT GATEWAY COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

I HAVE OVER SEVEN YEARS OF I.T.

EXPERIENCE, AND THREE OF THOSE YEARS I WAS WORKING

FULL TIME AS THE AUDIOVISUAL MAINTENANCE

TECHNICIAN AND PHOTOGRAPHER FOR GATEWAY.

DURING THAT TIME I HAD THE WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY OF

BEING THE EDUCATIONAL MEDIA DEVELOPER WHERE I

HELPED OTHER FACULTY MEMBERS CREATE EDUCATIONAL

VIDEOS FOR THEIR STUDENTS.

SO BEFORE YOU MAY HAVE READ THE TITLE OF THIS

TALK, THERE'S A LOT OF DISCUSSION ABOUT:

WHAT IS VIRTUAL REALITY?

IS IT MIND CRAFT?

IS IT THE SIMS?

IS IT SECOND LIFE?

WELL, THIS TECHNOLOGY HAS REALLY EVOLVED AND IT HAS ADVANCED.

AND OUR DEFINITION OF WHAT WE CONSIDER VIRTUAL

REALITY HAS CHANGED.

NOW WE WOULD HAVE TO CONSIDER VIRTUAL REALITY

BE FULLY IMMERSIVE AS THOUGH YOU ARE THERE AS

OPPOSED TO SITTING IN FRONT OF A SCREEN.

THE OTHER THING THAT'S VERY IMPORTANT IS THAT YOU

HAVE TO HAVE A DEGREE OF CHOICE.

WHICH BRINGS US TO OUR THIRD REQUIREMENT, WHICH

IS THE EASIEST CHOICE THAT YOU CAN REALLY MAKE, AND

THAT WOULD BE TO MANIPULATE THE ENVIRONMENT

WITH THE BODY.

NOW, YOU MIGHT BE THINKING: AM I SPEAKING OF

THE CONTROLLERS?

YOU MIGHT THINK THAT, OH, WE HAVE TO MOVE ACROSS

THIS ENVIRONMENT.

BUT A SIMPLE TURN IS A CHOICE OF WHERE YOU CAN SEE.

SOME OF YOU MIGHT BE THINKING, WELL, HOLD ON.

THAT SOUNDS LIKE 2002 WITH TOM CRUISE; RIGHT? MAYBE.

BUT IT'S BEEN 14 YEARS SINCE THE RELEASE OF THAT FILM.

AND I THINK WE'RE GETTING A LITTLE CLOSE TO ACTUALLY

MAKING THAT SCIENCE FICTION A REALITY.

NOW, HOW COMPLEX IS IT?

AND WHAT IS ITS PRICE POINT?

WELL, THERE'S A LOT OF DIFFERENT AVENUES OF

VIRTUE REALITY IMPLEMENTATION THAT YOU

CAN GO DOWN.

I CHOSE THREE HERE.

THESE ARE NOT BY ANY MEANS THE ONLY CHOICES, BUT

THESE ARE SOME OF THE MOST POPULAR THAT I HAVE RESEARCHED.

THE ONE THAT'S REALLY THE FORERUNNER, THE HIGHEST

QUALITY YOU CAN GET IS KNOWN AS GOPRO CLUSTER.

THAT'S SIX GOPRO CAMERAS WITH ONE MOUNT.

AND IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY LYING AROUND, IT'S ABOUT $5,000.

AND IT IS VERY, VERY COMPLEX, SINCE YOU'RE

WORKING WITH SIX SEPARATE CAMERAS.

YOU HAVE TO DO THE STITCHING.

YOU HAVE TO USE THE IMPLICATIONS.

YOU HAVE TO REALLY KNOW YOUR SALT IN ORDER TO GET

THIS TO WORK.

THEN THERE'S SOME OTHER SOLUTIONS THAT I FOUND

THAT WERE A LITTLE CLOSER TO MY PRICE POINT.

THE 360 FLY IS A SINGLE-CAMERA SOLUTION,

AND THEY HAVE TWO DIFFERENT RESOLUTIONS.

ONE IN HD, WHICH WILL RUN YOU ABOUT $300.

AND ANOTHER ONE THAT'S IN 4K, WHICH WILL RUN YOU ABOUT $500.

AND THIS WAS A MINIMALLY COMPLEX, YOU CAN LINK IT

UP WITH OUR PHONE, SINGLE-PRESS BUTTON

RECORDING, AND THEN YOU'RE FLYING AWAY.

THEN THERE'S ALSO A COMPETITOR TO THEM THAT'S

AROUND THE SAME PRICE POINT, WHICH A RICOH THETA S.

THIS IS A TWO-CAMERA SOLUTION ON A SINGLE BODY

TO GIVE YOU THAT MINIMAL COMPLEXITY WITH A

SINGLE-PRESS BUTTON RECORDING AND, AGAIN, WITH

A MOBILE LINKING.

SO THIS IS WHAT I USED FOR MY PROJECT.

I USED A 360 FLY.

I USED A LAPEL MIC WITH MY PHONE.

I USED A GENERIC TRIPOD AND FOUR APPLICATIONS: TWO

THAT SHIPPED AND TWO ADOBE PRODUCTS.

SO MY APPROACH IS THAT I RECORDED A LIVE CLASS SESSION.

AND I WANTED THAT TO SIMULATE THE STUDENTS

SITTING IN A CHAIR ATTENDING THE CLASS THAT

I WAS GIVING.

THIS REQUIRED THAT I HAD MY STUDENTS SIGN TALENT

RELEASE FORMS SO THAT I WAS ABLE TO SHARE IT WITH

ALL OF YOU AND ALSO USE IT IN THE FUTURE CLASSES, BUT

THIS IS A STATIC RECORDING THAT IS SET IN ONE SHOT OF TIME.

THE SET UP FOR THIS TOOK ABOUT 15 MINUTES BEFORE

THE CLASS, 15 MINUTES AFTER THE CLASS TO TEAR IT

DOWN, AND ABOUT FIVE TO TEN MINUTES AT THE CLASS

BREAK FOR THE CAMERA MANIPULATION.

SO REALLY FOR EVERY SINGLE LECTURE THAT I RECORDED IN

VIRTUAL REALITY, IT WAS AN ADDITIONAL 35 TO 40

MINUTES PER SESSION.

NOW THAT'S ALL FINE.

AND I'D LIKE TO SHOW YOU WHAT IT IS THAT I'M

ACTUALLY TALKING ABOUT AND WHAT MY VR CLASSROOM

REALLY LOOKS LIKE.

SO HERE IS MY VIRTUE REALITY CLASSROOM.

AND SOMETHING YOU MIGHT NOTICE IS THAT'S NOT

EXACTLY FACING THE INSTRUCTOR.

WHAT KIND OF CLASS IS THIS?

HERE'S A LESSON LEARNED: TEST YOUR CAMERA BEFORE

YOU DEPLOY IT. RIGHT?

WE'RE WORKING WITH A 360 VIRTUAL SPACE, SO BEING AS

HOW YOU'RE WORKING WITH A CAMERA THAT LITERALLY CAN

SEE EVERYTHING, YOU SHOULD PROBABLY FIND OUT WHAT THE

CAMERA THINKS IS FACING FORWARD.

BUT HERE'S THE COOL THING ABOUT VIRTUAL REALITY,

WE'RE USING A BROWSER RIGHT NOW.

IF THE VIEWER WANTED TO CLICK, DRAG, AND MOVE THE

SCREEN, THEY CAN LOOK WHEREVER IN THE ROOM THEY WANT.

NOW, WE CAN GO AHEAD AND PAUSE THIS AND FREEZE THAT

OUT, BUT IF YOU'RE USING YOUR MOBILE DEVICE, YOU

WOULD PLAY THE VIDEO ON YOUR MOBILE ADVICE AND

WITH A SIMPLE TURN, TILT, YOU'D BE ABLE TO

MANIPULATE THE IMAGE AS WELL.

AGAIN, GOING TO THAT SIMPLEST DECISION OF:

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO LOOK?

IF YOU'RE WEARING A HEADSET, THERE ARE

APPLICATIONS IN YOUR PHONE THAT YOU CAN USE, PUT IT

ON, AND THEN YOU WOULD JUST TILT YOUR HEAD TO VIEW THAT.

NOW THERE WERE SOME KNOWN ISSUES WITH MY IMPLEMENTATION.

THE FIRST ONE IS KIND OF A BIGGIE.

IT'S NOT GOING TO BE INTERACTIVE WHEN VIEWED LATER.

THIS IS, AGAIN, A STATIC RECORDING SHOT IN A SINGLE

SPACE -- LIKE A SINGLE TIME; RIGHT?

SO THAT DOES NOT ENABLE STUDENTS TO PARTICIPANT

WHO ARE WATCHING THE VIRTUAL-REALITY CLASSROOM

IN DISCUSSION WITH THEIR PEERS.

THEY CAN NOT ASK ME QUESTIONS, IF THEY HAVE A

QUESTION ARISE WHILE WATCHING THIS MEDIA.

THE OTHER THING IS I WROTE AN ARTICLE ABOUT FIVE BEST

PRACTICES FOR CREATING EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS WHEN I

WAS THE EDUCATIONAL MEDIA DEVELOPER.

SO THIS PRETTY MUCH WENT AGAINST ALL OF THEM.

THE FIRST ONE IS DIRECTION AND PLANNING.

I AM TALKING ABOUT RECORDING A LIVE LECTURE;

NOT: I'M GOING TO DISCUSS THIS AND I'M GOING TO BE

STRAIGHT TO THE POINT.

STUDENTS ASK QUESTIONS.

AND I LOVE TO GO DOWN THOSE ROADS OF DIALOG,

HOWEVER, THERE'S NO DIRECTION IN PLANNING ON

WHAT THEY'RE GOING TO ASK.

THERE'S NO DIRECTION IN PLANNING IN NECESSARILY

WHAT IS GOING TO BE COVERED, WHICH LEADS US TO

OUR NEXT ITEM: VIDEO LENGTH.

VIDEO LENGTH, AS I WROTE IN THE ARTICLE, WAS NOT TO

EXCEED TEN MINUTES OF YOUR EDUCATIONAL VIDEO.

NOW SOME OF YOU ARE LIKE, OH, MY GOSH, THAT'S SO SHORT.

AND IT IS. I GET IT.

HOWEVER, RESEARCH IS NOW SUPPORTING THE IDEA THAT

THAT TIME IS EVEN GETTING SHORTER, WHERE YOU

SHOULDN'T EXCEED 7 MINUTES FOR AN EDUCATIONAL VIDEO.

SO, AGAIN, DIRECTION AND PLANNING,

VERY CONCISE, VERY QUICK.

THE OTHER THING IS VIDEO QUALITY.

NOW THIS IS THE REASON WHY I BOUGHT THE 4K CAMERA.

AND THIS IS SOMETHING THAT YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF IF

YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET INTO VIRTUAL REALITY.

THE ADVERTISED RESOLUTION THAT THEY ARE SELLING YOU

IS THE CAMERA RESOLUTION.

I USED A SINGLE-CAMERA SOLUTION, WHICH MEANS THAT

WHEN I TAKE MY PICTURE AND I ENTER INTO MY VIRTUE

REALM, THAT RESOLUTION IS STRONGLY DECREASED.

SO EVEN THOUGH I WAS RECORDING IN A 4K

DEFINITION, WHAT YOU SAW THERE WAS ACTUALLY HD.

THEN PROPER LIGHTING.

NOW, 35 TO 40 ADDITIONAL MINUTES PER LECTURE WAS

QUITE A STRAIN ON ME.

AND I WASN'T GOING TO WORRY ABOUT EVENING OUT

THE LIGHT FOR MY PURPOSE, SO I JUST THREW THAT ONE OUT.

IT'S FINE. AND THEN THE LAST ONE WOULD BE GOOD SOUND

QUALITY, WHICH YOU'RE ACTUALLY GOING TO SEE THAT

I FIXED IN A VIRTUAL TOUR VIDEO THAT I CREATED.

SO NOW YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR ME.

THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE VOLUME ON THE HOUSE, BUT

NOW YOU CAN HEAR ME.

YOU CAN HERE THE SURROUNDINGS.

AND THIS IS WHEN I WAS USING THAT LAPEL MIC,

AGAIN, WITH MY PHONE.

WE CAN GO AHEAD AND PAUSE THE VIDEO.

THE IDEA BEHIND THIS WAS TO SIMULATE A TOUR

EXPERIENCE AS A PERSON WALKING WITH THE TOUR GUIDE.

SO THEY WOULD THE OPTION TO LOOK AT THE ROOMS, DOWN

THE HALLS, BE ABLE TO SEE EXACTLY WHERE THEY'RE GOING.

AND IT WOULD ACCESSIBLE SO LONG AS THEY HAD

ACCESS TO THE VIDEOS.

IF WE CAN GO BACK TO THE SLIDES.

NOW, STUDENT RESPONSE WAS WHEN I PROPOSED THE IDEA

THERE WAS EXCITEMENT, BUT THERE WAS A LITTLE BIT OF

EMBARRASSMENT, BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER, NOT

EVERYBODY LIKES TO BE RECORDED.

HOWEVER, I EXPLAINED WHAT MY PURPOSE WAS, WHY I

WANTED TO DO IT, WHAT I WANTED TO FIND OUT, AND

THERE WAS AN OVERALL UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CLASS.

HOWEVER, I DID UPLOAD THAT VERY FIRST VIDEO OF THE

VIRTUAL REALITY CLASSROOMS TO SEE HOW MANY STUDENTS

WOULD TAKE THE BITE.

OUT OF THE 15 I HAD IN THAT GROUP, ONE WATCHED.

NOW, THAT VIDEO IS ONLY HALF OF THE LECTURE.

IT'S 55 MINUTES LONG.

HE DID NOT WATCH THE 55 MINUTES.

HE REPORTED THAT HAD DEFINITELY DID NOT WATCH

MORE THAN 3 MINUTES BEFORE HE PUT IT DOWN AND MOVED ON.

SO I KIND OF SAT BACK AND I'M, LIKE, OKAY, THAT'S

GOOD TO KNOW.

HE WAS LOOKING AT IT FOR THE NOVELTY AND NOT FOR THE CONTENT.

NOW, I DON'T REALLY BLAME THIS STUDENT FOR LOOKING

AT IT FOR PURELY THE NOVELTY.

AND THE BIGGEST REASON IS: I HAD DIFFICULTIES.

OH, BOY, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT, I HAD SOME DIFFICULTIES.

YOU SAW ONE OF THE THEM: TEST YOUR PRODUCT.

TEST YOUR PRODUCT BEFORE YOU DO IT; RIGHT?

CAMERA WASN'T FACING FRONT, SO I NEEDED TO

FIGURE OUT WHAT IS FRONT ACCORDING TO THIS.

AND THEN IT ALSO ADDED AN OBSTACLE IN THE CLASSROOM

SINCE I HAD THE TRIPOD AND THE STUDENTS IN THE FRONT

HAD TO KIND OF MEANDER AROUND IT.

AND THE STUDENT AUDIO WAS NOT HEARD.

SO YOU HEARD THE MICROPHONES ON THE CAMERA

IN THAT FIRST RECORDING OR RATHER YOU DID NOT HEAR ANYBODY.

AND WITH THE LAPEL MIC AND THE SOLUTION FOR THAT THE

ONLY AUDIO THAT WOULD BE HEARD IS FROM ME.

SO THOSE QUESTIONS THAT WERE ASKED, THE PURPOSE

OF: HEY, WHAT DID THEY ASK?

AND HOW DID THIS DISCUSSION GET STARTED?

WHAT IS THE DISCUSSION AMONGST YOUR PEERS?

UNFORTUNATELY, WAS LOST IN THE FEED THAT I TOOK.

I ALSO HAD TO USE THE PHONE IN CONJUNCTION, AS I

MENTIONED BEFORE, WITH THE LAPEL MIC.

NOW, YOU REMEMBER HOW I TOLD YOU, OH, YEAH, THIS

IS MINIMALLY COMPLEX.

YOU PUSH THE BUTTON.

YOU GET RECORDING.

THAT LED TO THIS: LONG EDITING TIMES. OH, MY WORD.

I'M GOING TO GO FURTHER INTO THIS IN JUST A LITTLE

BIT, BUT, BOY, I TELL YOU WHAT, YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR

PHONE, THE CAMERA, SYNC IT UP, AND THEN YOU HAVE TO

DO THE POSTPRODUCTION AFTERWARDS TO MAKE SURE

THAT IT'S RIGHT.

AND THE BIGGEST ONE: THE CAMERA SIMPLY WOULD OVERHEAT.

AND UNFORTUNATELY, THIS WAS ANY STRONGEST

DIFFICULTY THAT I HAD.

AND IT RENDERED MY ENTIRE SEMESTER WORTH OF

RECORDING AS UNUSABLE AT THIS TIME. SO YEAH.

YEAH, 35, 40 MINUTES A SESSION FOR EVERY SESSION.

BUT IT'S ALRIGHT.

WE'RE MOVING THERE.

WE'RE GETTING THERE.

THE EDITING IN POSTPRODUCTION.

THIS TOUR VIDEO THAT I SHOWED YOU WHERE I FIXED

THE AUDIO QUALITY: 7 MINUTES, 27 SECONDS.

NOT A LONG VIDEO.

I STAYED UNDER MY 10; RIGHT?

HOWEVER, THIS TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR TO PREPARE AND SHOOT.

I HAD NEVER GIVEN A TOUR OF OUR BUILDING BEFORE.

SO I HAD TO GET A GUIDE TO GIVE ME THE TOUR SO THAT I

COULD GIVE IT, RIGHT, AND THEN WE HAD TO WORK OUT

THE LOGISTICS OF THE CAMERA AND EXACTLY WHERE WE'RE GOING.

AND THEN I HAD TO GET THE MICROPHONE,

AND THEN LET'S GET COOKING.

WE TOOK THIS IN ONE TAKE.

WE DIDN'T TAKE TWO TAKES.

BUT IT TOOK US ABOUT AN HOUR FOR THAT.

HERE'S THE KICKER: TO PUT THE AUDIO ON THAT VIDEO

AND POST PRODUCE EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAW TOOK 9 HOURS.

IT TOOK 3 HOURS FOR ME TO DROP THE FEED INTO THE

VIDEO EDITOR THAT I WAS USING.

I HAD TO RENDER THAT.

THEN I TOOK THE AUDIO DROPPED IT ON THAT VIDEO,

THREE HOURS TO RENDER THAT.

I WAS ABLE TO CUT THE BEGINNING AND THE END.

THAT'S ALL I DID.

AND THEN I HAD TO RENDER IT A THIRD TIME.

SO 9 HOURS OF EDITING TIME IS WHAT IT TOOK.

AND THAT'S NOT INCLUDING THE TIME THAT I DID UPLOAD

IT TO YOUTUBE.

SO I DIDN'T -- DIDN'T WORRY ABOUT THE RECORDING THAT.

BUT 7 AND A HALF MINUTES, 10 HOURS. ALL RIGHT.

NOW, SOME OF YOU MIGHT BE SAYING, WELL, THERE'S

OTHER IMPLEMENTATIONS OF VIRTUAL REALITY THAT YOU DIDN'T DO.

MAYBE YOU COULD DO THAT.

AND I'LL TELL YOU WHAT, WHAT I DID IS NOT MY

VISION FOR THE TECHNOLOGY.

MY VISION WOULD BE TO LIVE STREAM THESE VR CLASSROOMS

TO GIVE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A GLOBAL PRESENCE, A

GLOBAL INTERACTION, WHERE A STUDENT CAN LOG IN AND FEEL

AS THOUGH THEY ARE SEATED IN A PHYSICAL CLASSROOM.

THIS WAY IT CAN OPEN THE DIALOGUE, AND THEY CAN

HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO ASK QUESTIONS.

AND, YES, THESE THINGS DO EXIST RIGHT NOW.

HOWEVER, THE IMPLEMENTERS OF THE TECHNOLOGY DOING

WHAT MY VISION IS, THEY HAVE A TEAM.

THEY HAVE PEOPLE ON SEPARATE COMPUTERS WHO ARE

PROCTORING FOR THEM TO GET ALL THE QUESTIONS BACK AND

FORTH AND BE ABLE TO OPEN THAT DIALOGUE PATH.

I UNFORTUNATELY AS AN ADJUNCT DO NOT HAVE A

TEAM TO DO THIS.

SO I'M A ONE-MAN SHOW WITH MY CLASSROOM.

AND THAT LEADS US TO THE LESSONS LEARNED THAT I HAVE.

BOY, I TELL YOU WHAT, EVEN WITH MY BACKGROUND IN I.T.

AND AUDIO VISUAL, CREATING A VIRTUAL REALITY

CLASSROOM WAS REALLY A DIFFICULT TASK.

I THOUGHT I WAS CHOOSING THE MINIMALLY-COMPLEX

OPERATION AND THAT QUICKLY, QUICKLY BECAME

QUITE THE UNDERTAKING.

SINCE I DID HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS, I DID CALL THE

COMPANY, THE MANUFACTURING OF THE CAMERA THAT I WAS

USING OR AM USING, AND I QUICKLY REALIZED, IF YOU

HAVE AS MANY PROBLEMS AND YOU CONTACT AS MANY TIMES

I DID, YOU ACTUALLY GET A TICKET INTO THE DOOR TO

THEIR ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.

SO IT'S REALLY NEAT THAT I GET TO TALK WITH THEIR

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, TELL THEM WHAT MY

CHALLENGES ARE, AND I CAN MOLD WHERE I WANT TO SEE

THE TECHNOLOGY TO GO TO MAKE MY VISION AN EASY AND

ACCESSIBLE REALITY.

NOW, THE STUDENT BODY ALSO SEEMED TO BE

EXCITED ABOUT THE IDEA.

THEY ARE LIKE, OH, MY GOSH, THIS IS NEW, AND

THIS IS COOL.

BUT THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WANTED TO SEE THE NOVELTY,

NOT THE CONTENT.

AND WITH THIS, THE PRESSING QUESTION FOR THE

MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE THAT I DISCUSS WITH IS:

SHOULD I DO THIS NOW?

WHAT I'M GOING TO ADVISE IS THAT AT THIS TIME, NO.

IT'S REALLY HARD.

BUT THAT'S NOT TO SAY YOU SHOULDN'T DO IT AT ALL.

I AM GOING TO CONTINUE MY EVERY EFFORTS.

I AM GOING TO TRY TO MAKE MY VISION THE DE FACTO AND

ONE-PRESS BUTTON AS I WANT TO SEE.

AND THAT'S LOOKING TO BE AN ETA ABOUT SIX MONTHS TO A YEAR.

SO REALLY THEY ARE COMPETITIVE, AND THEY ARE

MOVING THROUGH THIS, BUT I WOULDN'T PICK ONE UP RIGHT

NOW AND DECIDE, HEY, I'M GOING TO GO THROUGH THIS

UNDERTAKING UNTIL THE TECHNOLOGY HAS MATURED A BIT.

WITH ALL OF THAT, I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

AND I DO HOPE AFTER THAT YEAR, AFTER THAT YEAR OF

WAITING, THAT I WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY WHEREVER I

AM AT TO BE ABLE TO SIT IN YOUR CLASSROOMS VIRTUALLY.

THANK YOU.

THANK YOU, ANTHONY.

Getting Cash For My Trip to the Québec City Magic Festival - Duration: 2:12.

Bonjour, ici Michael Dardant

Oui,

Super!

Un autre… non mais ce n'est pas un vert…

ça ne vaut pas autant.

Oui, mais ça te fera du change.

Ah, d'accord.

Tu avais besoin d'un autre vingt?

Merci Ed!

Je suis prêt pour mon voyage

Incroyable!

"What Is Diabetes?" Diabetes Described In Words - Duration: 3:55.

If I had to describe type 1 diabetes in one word I would say it's exhausting

It's maddening

It's challenging

Unpredictable

Expensive

Frustrating, depressing, tiring, tedious,

overwhelming, 24/7/365 days, nonstop

It doesn't give me a break

It makes it hard for me to concentrate in school

The exhaustion is real, the anxiety is real, the fear is real

Diabetes is a lot of hard work and

You can do the same things every single day and get different results

I'm sad for my son

I'm sad that at age 2 he has now been diabetic longer than he hasn't

I'm sad that I can't fix this

I can't heal this

I'm devastated that this is forever

My son will never remember a day that he wasn't

diabetic

It changes the whole course of your life

Every day when I wake up diabetes is what I think about

right before I go to bed it's what I think about.

Diabetes doesn't sleep

It's with me constantly

It's lonely

It's hard to live with a disease that is misunderstood

It's life-threatening and it leaves me worried to close my eyes at night

If I had to pick a word in this moment now to describe type 1 I would say disruptive

My 3-year-old little girl being woken up at 2:30 am to drink a juice box in order

to keep her alive

So disruptive would be my word

Diabetes is very stressful

Really annoying and upsetting

Diabetes is hard but it has made me stronger

Diabetes is about never never giving up and getting through life realizing

I'm doing the best I can but every day is an uphill battle

Sometimes very sleep depriving for my mom

Diabetes makes me brave, it makes me appreciate life, and it makes me who I am

Sometimes I like diabetes because you can make friends that have diabetes and

You can do anything you want to do you just got to add a little bit of extra responsibility

to the mix

It also makes you learn how to trust your body again and that's probably one of the

best things about it

It makes my daughter unique

I love her and I will continue to fight until I have no more fight left within me

It's highs, it's lows, it's sadness, it's happiness

it's everything because

Diabetes has changed the way I view the world and myself and that's pretty awesome

I pray day in and day out for a cure for this horrible disease because it does not take

vacations, it does not know any holiday

True warriors are people with type 1 diabetes because they fight like no other
