today to talk to you about logos and
branding now you're probably thinking
are to the same thing well no a logo is
part of the branding process you
definitely want to make sure that your
logo encompass is all of what your
company I want to achieve so when you
talk about branding you know it's going
to include the logo but it's going to
also include the way that you want your
customer to feel so logo is basically a
it's a shape that represents your
company if you think of a thing of logo
you think of something like the Nike
swoosh or you know the adidas symbol or
the McDonald's arches you know something
like that that is a logo but I want you
to take a minute and think about what do
you think about what are you associated
with what do you feel when you think
about the logo so when you feel when we
see the Nike swoosh what do you think
about do you associate with like some of
the Nike clothes that you're hot and
Libra where's do you associate it with
running you associated with some awesome
shoes that you have or you you know what
are some feelings that you evoke when
you to think of the nike swoosh do you
can give this their slogan just do it so
they've done a really good job of
encompass about logo into all of all of
their branding and all of their
marketing efforts so when we talk about
a brand we talk about the fact that the
logo is just part of that because just
do it is also part of their brand their
commercials are part of their brand all
of their marketing aspects are you know
whatever tactics they use to marketing's
is part of the brand their colors there
everything is a brand and not just a
logo so in short branding is the
experience that your customer feels when
they see your logo and it might not even
be just with your logo they might feel
something when they see your face they
might see something when they see when
your social media post all of that is
going to encompass what your brand is
and the key to bringing if you want
everything to be cohesive you want to
have something similar across all
aspects of every marketing ploy that you
do you want something similar to come
type it all together so that people know
that it's you you're making associate
whatever few and may get when they see
these things with you and your company
so your customers are going to
experience your brand's do things like
your website
billboards you know product packaging
commercial social media post apparel
anything like that anything that you put
out there and in a marketing aspect
whether you actually realize it's a
marketing aspect or not that's how
people are going to experience you and
your brand and your logo so logo is just
one part of that it's a big part of you
know a whole collection of graphics it's
one piece of the branding puzzle and
within that logo that logo you want that
logo to evoke a positive reaction a
positive experience something happy or
you know some some kind of positive
experience with your logo and the way
that you do that is through your
branding your raining is going to be the
key to how your customers feel about you
and the way that they experience you and
your your whole company so a logo is
just part of that branding process
throughout the branding process and what
you're going to discover is that your
whole brain is going to be a bunch of
different things and some of those
things might include things like your
logo your fonts that you use across all
of your platforms all your posts all
your marketing your colors you want your
course you could have Sam across all of
those platforms so you'll probably have
like a brand board or a mood board
that's going to have all of these things
listed out for you and the style guy for
you know.wait different way that you can
use all these things like you're given
you know and again when you go through a
branding process you want to go through
what you want your customers to
experience how you want them to feel so
you're really going to want to know who
your customer is what kind of what kind
of things their child having troubles
with what kind of emotions that they
want to get when they experience
whatever it is that your company gives
them or you give them so the branding is
just you know taking all of that putting
it on paper or you know just even have a
conversation with whoever your brand
designer is even if that's just yourself
and I'm just just knowing what those
feelings are and what you want what it's
what feelings you want to evoke out of
your customers and then taking those
feelings and putting it into one image
you know associating colors with those
feelings and putting that into an image
which is going to be your logo and then
like I said before it's not just your
logo you're going to use those same kind
of phones those same colors across all
of your marketing aspects so that's what
the branding process is I hope that kind
of cleared up for you guys a little bit
cuz I know
can get a little bit muddy when you talk
about for any versus a logo because some
people think well it's the same thing
well they're similar but again a logo is
just part of the branding process
