Samsung Electronics unveiled its Galaxy S-8 smartphone.
This is a make or break gadget for the Korean tech titan that's trying to rebuild its image
after the flaming Note 7 disaster.
Ro Aram zooms in on what's described by some in the tech realm as a "shot at redemption."
Two versions of the Galaxy S8 were launched at a media event in New York on Wednesday.
The S8 and S8 Plus have 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch curved screens, respectively - the largest
yet for Samsung's premium smartphones.
The firm has also ditched the physical home button to maximize display space.
It's replaced with an on-screen icon, similar to that of rival Android phones from LG and
Huawei.
However, with the S8, there's a pressure sensor and vibration module built in behind the icon
to give users some feedback.
It also has a new virtual assistant called Bixby and an iris scanner that lets users
unlock their phones by looking at them.
Another handy feature is a dock that connects the phone to a monitor, keyboard and wireless
mouse, allowing them to act as a kind of Android-powered PC.
As for the camera, the front is getting a boost to eight megapixels, while the rear
stays at twelve.
The S8 lineup is crucial for Samsung in trying to recover its image as a reliable phonemaker
after the Note 7 had to be recalled twice for catching fire due to what Samsung called
"battery problems".
But, the company said it had since put in additional safety measures.

safety testing process ever, with an eight point battery safety check that goes beyond
the industry standard."
The S8 and S8 Plus will go on sale on April 21st in the U.S. and April 28th for the rest
of the world.
The retail price starts at around 700 U.S. dollars.

Last weekend, Donald Trump made an explosive claim that during his campaign Trump Tower
was wiretapped – and that then-President Barack Obama was behind it.
Trump offered no evidence for the claims, but what he said may be some "truthful hyperbole"
(a term Trump himself coined).
As former prosecutor Andrew McCarthy summarized in National Review, Obama' Justice Department
considered a criminal investigation aimed at a number of Trump's associates – and
found nothing criminal.
After that fail, they converted the investigation into an intelligence probe under the Foreign
Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Elements of that story have been confirmed by The New
York Times, the BBC and McClatchy newspapers.
FISA surveillance has to be approved by a special court, which almost always allows
the government to spy on people when asked. To the Obama administration's surprise,
the Justice Department refused in this case. As McCarthy noted, this is notable because
"the FISA court is notoriously solicitous of government requests to conduct national
security surveillance."
The Obama administration wasn't ready to take no for an answer and came back during
the final weeks of the election with a narrower request that didn't specifically mention
Trump. That narrower request was granted by the court – though no articles confirming
it mention any wiretapping.
But who the heck was it who signed off on those FISA requests that were initially denied.
According to the Gateway Pundit – none other than Loretta Lynch.
According to ABC, all applications to the FISA Court were signed off on by the Attorney
General and therefore if any applications were processed in the past year, they were
signed off on by Loretta Lynch. This means that Lynch signed off on any requests for
wire tapping President Donald Trump during the Presidential race. This is disheartening
knowing that she released a video over the weekend calling for the need for more marching,
blood and death on the streets. This also means that she chose not to investigate the
Clinton Foundation for illegal activities but rather signed an application to wire tap
President Trump.
The Gateway Pundit also notes that "Five of the current eleven judges on the court
are scheduled to be on the court for President Trump's entire first term with six of the
judges' terms expiring before January 2021. Seven of the judges are scheduled into the
year 2020." And with that, we just found one more part
of the swamp that needs to be drained.BREAKING Trump Just Got BLINDSIDED By Sudden Resignation
That Leaves Everyone In Shock
Over the past few weeks, Trump has been shaking things up in Washington D.C. The left has
been doing their best to undermine Trump and his policies every step of the way. With the
constant leaks from Obama loyalists and the recent WikiLeaks drop, liberals are scrambling.
Now, Trump was just hit with a sudden resignation and it could not have been better news.
The leader of the Environmental Protection Agency's environmental justice program has
resigned. Mustafa Ali resigned on Thursday after realizing that his sham of an agency
is potentially losing funding. There have been reports that Trump is looking at slashing
the EPA's $8 billion budget by $2 billion and also cut the agency's beefy staff by
20 percent.
Ali obviously saw the writing on the wall had this to say in his resignation.
"I never saw in the past a concerted effort to roll back the positive steps that many,
many people have worked on though all the previous administrations. … I can't be
a part of anything that would hurt those [disadvantaged] communities. I just couldn't sign off on
those types of things," said Ali, who has held his post since 1992.
"I hadn't seen any positive movement in relationship to vulnerable communities … I
hadn't seen yet any engagement with communities with environmental justice concerns," he
added.
You know this guy should have been fired immediately after the Flint, Michigan water crisis, but
was allowed to stay on. Thousands of residents were subjected to horrible living conditions
yet the Obama administration did nothing. Trump was serious about draining the swamp
and cutting funding to this absurd agency is another step in the right direction.
The EPA has been useless since the beginning. This agency has been used to strong arm the
American people in order to extort more money. All I can say is that is that I am happy to
see another Obama holdover is gone and this agency crumbling to the ground.

Less than 24 hours after Melania Trump ended her day yesterday with record-high approval

expected to turn on her with such aggression.
Despite massive criticism from liberals about what she wore and said at her Women's Day

was when Melania shared a personal sentiment of empowerment, having overcome communism
and successfully making it in America as an immigrant who did it the right way. This should
have silenced all of her liberal detractors but instead, it only seemed to infuriate them
more which led to an all-out verbal assault by someone she assumed was her advocate.
Melania has already made it known that her platform as a First Lady will be to end the
bullying epidemic in America. So, it came as a nasty surprise today when well-known
gay-bullying opponent, Dan Savage, unleashed a verbal tirade against her that began with,
"I f*ing hate Melania Trump" and only devolved from there.
"God knows there's enough hate in the world and I don't want to add to the sum
total, but forgive me, I have got to get this off my chest: I f—ing hate Melania Trump,"
Savage announced in his podcast, The Wrap reported. He then went on to say that even
liberals are too soft on her and view her with undeserved "sympathy" only for the
fact that she's "pretty."
Savage then alleged that Melania is a complete fake who is hated by her husband and uses
her looks to hide "an ugliness inside her," Independent Journal Review reported. "She's
an immigrant who doesn't give a s— about the plight of other immigrants," Savage
to savagely added.
His tirade only proves who the real poser is here and it's the one slinging the slanderous
punches at our First Lady who has done nothing to give him reason to make such inflammatory
claims. This is yet another case proving the paradox of the left that "acceptance"
only goes as far as to those who share the same opinions as you, otherwise the gloves
come off and it's open season on their victims.Loud Mouth Drunk Girl Assaults Police Horse, Gets
BRUTAL Instant Payback She Wasn't Expecting
An entitled drunk girl who thought she could run her mouth and attack anyone and anything
in the name of free speech met her match at a rally recently. She decided to make a police
horse part of her antics, before learning that they don't play by the same rules as
what's she's used. The unapologetic animal delivered a perfect dose of instant justice
that left her holding her teeth and looking like the fool she is.
It must be a college co-ed's rite of passage to act dangerously irrational to some degree
in a protest before you come out the other side as a (hopefully) responsible adult. One
young blonde girl was just getting into this type of behavior when she got knocked a painful
dose of reality, teaching her that if you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.
According to the footage shared on YouTube, the ridiculous young woman at a street party
in Ontario, Canada was set up by her "friend" to slap the police horse on the behind. The
officer was still mounted on the animal as the co-conspirator filmed the incident from
a safe distance showing the girl running up to the large animal and slapping it, for which
the horse responded with the best animal instinct.
No sooner did her hand hit the horse's rear, that her face got hit with his hind leg, in
a swift kick that knocked her to the ground where she tasted the pavement. She manages
to pull herself up and tries to run away, holding her face, and covered in blood. While
her condition is unknown, it's clear it had to hurt considering what she looked like
in the aftermath of her stupid move.
It was a brutal lesson, but once she had coming. Millenials think they can do whatever they
want without recourse or claiming innocence because of what they've been engrained to
believe, but this animal doesn't play by those rules. For every action, there's a
reaction and this painful experience should hopefully serve as a good life lesson.

President Trump is getting slammed for anything and everything that the liberals think will
make headlines lately. Even things that are completely unsubstantiated (raise your hand
if you're sick of hearing about Russians). One such incredible claim is that he is anti-women
and just generally a misogynist.
Part of what has cultivated this reputation was his involvement with the Miss USA pageant.
While it's understandable that the world needs to know there's more to life than
beauty, it's somewhat of a stretch to say that because someone supports a contest populated
with beautiful women, that it's the only thing he values in people. While some degrade
the process as outdated and anti-feministic, beauty pageants are structured in a way to
help contestants attain skills in performance, public speaking and help women carry themselves
with confidence to show their true nature.

is in his dealings with Tara Connor, 2006's Miss USA. Connor was catapulted into the limelight
after her victory in 2006 and after the fast lane became too much for her, she fell into
a life of drugs and alcohol. Many were shaming Connor and calling for her crown to be revoked,
but President Trump believed in her. He understood that what she was going through was an illness
and if she agreed to go through treatment, arranged for her to keep her crown.
Connor, who is now 10 years clean and sober and is an advocate for addiction prevention
had this to say about the incident:
"I was 20 in 2006 when I was crowned Miss USA. Few people knew my name and my "Miss
USA story." Later that year, millions knew my name because of my real story, the story
I didn't want shared. I became famous as "Mess USA" when my boss — now the president
of the United States — tossed me into rehab after I tested positive for cocaine. Rather
than strip me of my crown or add to the negative press with a humiliation campaign, Donald
Trump surprised me, and shocked the world, when he held a news conference and declared:
"Tara is going to be given a second chance."
Connor believes that Trump's views on addiction and mental illness can be a springboard for
change in the way sufferers are treated. She believes that a lot of people voted for him
"because they feel as though he can make a change about the addiction crisis." The
frustration that many in our country have with the President comes in many forms; policy,
history, business or even family. However, the most powerful man in the nation is taking
the initiative to get treatment for 22 million Americans that struggle with addiction. And
that is something that all of us can be proud of.

I did a video recently on the five best beginner cruiser motorcycles of 2017, and a lot of
you have asked if those bikes would be good for tall riders.
Some are, some aren't.
So I decided to do some research and find out what is the best beginner cruiser motorcycle
for tall people.
And that is what we are going to discuss today.

Before I start, I just want to mention that this isn't a list of worst to best.
Everyone has their own bias.
I picked the motorcycles that I believe were different, and offered something unique to
a tall rider.
So, let's start the video.
The 2017 Suzuki Boulevard C50 and C50t variation.
This 805cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, Single Overhead Cam, 45-degree V-twin is the cheapest
bike on this list.
Sorry, thats a lot to say.
So let's get the price out of the way.
It MSRPs at $9,399.
The C50t comes with a windscreen, padded backrest, white wall tires, and some more fancy things.
So let us focus on the C50.
It has a link type rear suspension that's shaped like a traditional cruiser.
It has a single shock in the rear and allows 4.1 inches of suspension travel.
It has a 33 degree rake and 65.2 inches of wheelbase for a smooth traveling cruiser.
The C50 has wide handlebars, forward controls with floorboards, and a seat height of 27.6
inches.
It does have smaller tires than most of the cruisers on this list at a 15 inch rear, and
16 inch front.
I do believe this is a great beginner cruiser motorcycle for you tall giants out there.
The wide handlebars, low seat height, and forwards controls will prevent some of you
from hitting your knees on the bars.
The price point is great, and it has enough power to get you where you need to go.
The 2017 Vulcan 900 Custom.
I mention this bikes little brother in my last video about beginner cruiser motorcycles
of 2017.
The 2017 Vulcan S. This Vulcan has a 903cc 4-stroke, 55° V-twin, 4 valves per cylinder,
Single overhead cam, liquid-cooled engine.
It is belt driven and is a 5 speed transmission.
Single hydraulic disk brakes in the front and back.
The wheelbase sits at 64.8 inches, slightly less than the Suzuki Boulevard, but it has
an overall length of 94.7 inches.
It's heavier than bikes I normally ride, as it sits at 610 lbs with fuel.
It does have a Big fuel capacity at 5.3 gallons though.
It also has a Seat height of 27 inches.
Now that the specs are out of the way, this bike does not come with the ERGO FIT feature
that the Kawasaki Vulcan S comes with.
So no adjusting the bike to fit your needs.
That really shouldn't matter as this bike has Wide drag bars that enable plenty of leverage
and forward-mounted footpegs.
Its a bigger bike with the bigger ride in mind.
The 2017 Victory Highball.
Now you really should snag this one at your local dealer because you'll find some deals.
If you can find this bike.
The 2017 should be the last year made.
Polaris is shutting down Victory, as I explained in a previous video.
A link to that will be in the description.
Long story short, Victory is shutting down, but they will still honor the warranties for
the next 10 years.
With that said, check this bike out.
It's MSRP is $13,499, but like I said, you might find some deals.
It's a 106 cubic inch, 1731cc bike.
A Lot of power.
Alot.
Carbon fiber reinforced belt, 6 speed, and a 6 valve vertical twin engine.
Single mono tube, adjustable rear suspension with A 16 inch rear and front wheel.
The seat height sits low at 25 inches, and it has a total length of 93.4 inches.
4.5 gallon fuel capacity for those longer rides.
Snag this bike before it's gone.
The 2017 Indian Chief Dark Horse.
I like this variant of the 2017 Indian Chief Classic, so I am going with this one.
It looks amazing.
The 2017 Indian Chief Dark Horse starts with an MSRP of $17,499.
It has a 111 cubic inch, or 1811cc engine.
It is a closed loop fuel injection engine, with a compression ratio of 9.5 by 1.
Comes with a wet, multi-plate clutch and it is a 6 speed transmission.
Single shock in the back with a 3.7 inch rear travel.
It has a 16 inch front and rear tires, but the rear is a fat 180 millimeters wide tire.
To put that in perspective, my Harley Sportster is 130 millimeters.
The wheelbase is 68.1 inches, with a total length of 103.5 inches.
I've been spouting those numbers for these bikes because that plays a huge role in overall
comfort and how the turning will be.
So it's pretty important.
The fuel capacity is at 5.5 gallons with a total weight of 783 lbs wet.
It's a Bigger bike, but it's for bigger people.
The 2017 Harley Davidson Low Rider S. I like the way the Low Rider S variant looks compared
to the Low Rider.
Just my preference.
This also comes in at an MSRP of $17,499.
This does have ABS and Cruise control.
So that is nice.
It has an 110 cubic inch, 1801cc engine.
6 speed drivetrain and an Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection fuel system.
The Harley Low Rider S has a 19 inch front wheel, and a 17 inch rear.
Pretty big tires.
The seat height is 26.6 inches and the Low Rider S has an overall length of 89.9 inches.
It has a 4.7 gallon fuel tank and the Low Rider S weighs in at 672 lbs wet.
There are a ton of different Harley Davidson bikes out there for tall people, but this
is my favorite beginner cruiser outside of the Harley Roadster.
Well that's the 5 best beginner cruiser motorcycles for tall people in 2017…

Arrest warrant hearing for former President Park Geun-hye ends - Duration: 3:04.
We begin with the arrest warrant hearing for former President Park Geun-hye.
Our Kim Ji-yeon who has been standing by at the court.
Ji-yeon, do start us off with some of the sticking points for the district court.
For the court today, the main focus was not on whether the former president is guilty
or not guilty of the criminal charges she's facing.
Rather, it was determining whether the suspect is a flight risk -- whether letting Park go
free would jeopardize the prosecutors' investigation into the criminal charges against her.
Prosecutors are said to have argued that it would be legally sound to put Park in jail...
due to the severity of the 13 charges she faces... including a bribery charge that would
carry a sentence of more than ten years in prison.
She's suspected of accepting a bribe of nearly 40-million U.S. dollars from Samsung Group,
as well as colluding with her confidante Choi Soon-sil to extort tens of millions of dollars
from conglomerates,... leaking confidential presidential office documents to Choi... and
ordering the creation of a blacklist of cultural figures critical of the government.
Prosecutors may have also argued that her closest former aides, her longtime confidante
as well as Samsung Electronics vice chairman Lee Jae-yong are already behind bars for colluding
with or aiding Park in her alleged offenses... so it would not be fair to apply the law differently
in her case.
On the other hand, the former president has reportedly denied all of the charges again
today in court.
But whether that will help keep her out of jail is unclear... because the judge could
interpret it as a willingness of the suspect to obstruct the authorities' investigation...
by using her influence to alter witness testimony, and so on.
The hearing is over now, and the wait begins.
There's no arguing how significant that ruling will be on various levels.
All eyes are on this case since it's the first time a former Korean president has appeared
before a district judge deliberating on her arrest warrant... and it's most likely going
to become a reference case in the future if a disgraced state leader becomes liable for
criminal charges during his or her time in office.
That's why the country is paying attention to every detail and whether she received special
treatment... such as whether the district judge referred to Park as "former president"
or "suspect"... which was later found to be the latter.
The result of the deliberation, many believe could come out at the crack of dawn on Friday...
with the former President awaiting her fate at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors'
Office.

That's the kind of shift that has occurred in terms of looking at a member who has diabetes,
not someone who is a diabetic.
Under a value-based arrangement, where we're incentivizing providers to improve quality,
reduce cost, improve patient experience, all three of those goals align with taking more
time with patients and rewarding physicians for not having the five-minute office visit
any longer or not just being involved with members that have acute illnesses and treating
them in a fragmented fee-for-service basis.
Value-based medicine allows us to focus more of our time and our resources, where we're
not focused on seeing 40, 50, 60 patients a day to make ends meet at the end of the
day.
So, we have an opportunity to focus on those 20 patients that we're seeing in front of
us and really focus on impacting their outcomes.
I believe the patient plays an incredibly valuable role and we, within Humana I think,
have an obligation to continuously provide technology and information to the patient
that truly empowers them to be an advocate of their own healthcare and own the health
with their primary care physician.
It's the physician being able to help their patient, being able to spend time with their
patient, being able to help keep them healthy, rather than just care for them when they're
sick.
Be looking more at outcomes as opposed to process.
And I think that's the holy grail of where we need to be going.

DNC Asks Entire Staff For Resignation Letters
Former Labor Secretary Tom Perez, who took over as the chair of the Democratic National
Committee in late February following Hillary's stunning November defeat, has asked for his
entire staff to submit their resignation letters by no later than April 15th.
Of course, the move comes after a series of scandals plagued the DNC throughout the 2016
election cycle, including rather undeniable evidence that former Chair Debbie Wasserman
Schultz intentionally undermined the campaign of Bernie Sanders while her replacement, Donna
Brazile, seemingly did the same by passing Hillary's team debate questions in advance
of Town Hall discussions with Bernie.
According to NBC, Tom Perez decided to clean house at the DNC shortly after taking over
the leadership role from Donna Brazile and will use the mass firing as an opportunity
to restructure how the party will be run going forward.
Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez has launched a major reshuffling of
the party's organization that has been stung by recent crisis � and the DNC has requested
the resignation letters of all current staffers be submitted by next month.
Party staff routinely see major turnover with a new boss and staffers were alerted earlier
to expect such a move.
However, the mass resignation letters will give Perez a chance to completely remake the
DNC's headquarters from scratch.
Staffing had already reached unusual lows following a round of layoffs in December.
Immediately after Perez' election in late February, an adviser to outgoing DNC Interim
Chair Donna Brazile, Leah Daughtry, asked every employee to submit a letter of resignation
dated April 15, according to multiple sources familiar with the party's internal working.
A committee advising Perez on his transition is now interviewing staff and others as part
of a top-to-bottom review process to help decide not only who will stay and who will
go, but how the party should be structured in the future.
Back in late February, Perez appeared on Meet the Press to tell Chuck Todd that he would
look to implement a "culture change" at the DNC before comparing his own party to a busted
plane traveling at 20,000 feet.
Perez has spent his first weeks on the job in "active listening mode," hearing from Democrats
in Washington and in small group meetings across the country before making any big moves.
"What we're trying to do is culture change," he told NBC News between stops of a listening
tour in Michigan Friday.
"We're repairing a plane at 20,000 feet.
You can't land the plane, shut it down, and close it until further notice."
"If your goal is you have to please everyone then you end up pleasing no one," he added.
We're still awaiting confirmation from Rachel Maddow that this mass firing came after the
discovery that the DNC was infiltrated by Russian spies coordinating with the Trump
campaign.

VirtaMed ArthroS™ Simulator Used for Swiss Orthopaedics Board Exam - Duration: 3:55.
Switzerland trains a growing number of orthopedists each year. In 2016 the number was 160.
The orthopedic exams are organized by Swiss Orthopaedics -
the society of orthopedists in Switzerland.
Since 2013 the exam has included a VirtaMed ArthroS simulator to test the doctor's arthroscopy skills.
Doctor Ariane Gerber Popp is a shoulder surgeon in the Baselland canton hospital.
In 2016 she was elected the President of Swiss Orthopaedics Certification Committee.
I think that at the moment the ArthroS is the most realistic simulator you can get on the market.
It gives quite a true vision of the knee and the shoulder joint, that's what we test in the examination.
The benefit of using this simulator was testing arthroscopy at all because before we didn't do any
arthroscopic testing. We did only open approaches and anatomy on cadavers.
But we didn't test arthroscopy because on cadavers it would be a lot more expenses for
the exam and it would be very demanding for the expert to have constant comparable situations
for every person we test.
Arthroscopic surgery of the knee or of the shoulder is a very frequent surgery nowadays
and it belongs to the tools a surgeon has to manage for his work.
Doctor Pascal Schenk is an orthopedist in Balgrist hospital in Zürich.
He took the Swiss Orthopaedic exam in 2016.
From my point of view it's a very good tool for beginners.
When you start to practice arthroscopy - it's very good.
We here in the Balgrist clinic are the lucky guys and lucky girls - we have our own simulator
here so we can train as much as we want.
We practice it, yes, especially when you're not a resident anymore, and you have to operate
by yourself, you prepare more.
I think it's really ok that it is also a part of the examination compared with the other
parts of the anatomical things, for me it's important that nothing falls out.
Would Doctor Gerber Popp go back to having exams without the simulator?
No.
I think we will not take a step back.
That's a part of this examination now and going back to a cadaveric lab for this exam is logistically
not possible.
The simulator is able to give us standardized evaluation of the person who is doing the
skill or exercise on the simulator and that would be a very important, could be a very
interesting way to test everybody in the same manner.
That's not something we are already doing now but we would be able to have a standard
for everybody. We could say that so many people have passed the exam with so many seconds, so many stars
caught in this time and they have reached this level, and if you are under that then
you didn't pass the exam.
