The line number three of Mumbai Metro is currently under construction
and is expected to be completed by 2020
it will connect Colaba to SEEPZ
and covering a distance of over 30 kilometers
it will be the city's first underground metro
except it could have been much earlier
and a lot more earlier than Kolkata or New Delhi
now the idea of underground transportation for Bombay
was thought of as early as 1924
but it never materialised
because the government thought it was impractical
In 1947, NV Modak an engineer
and Albert Mayers an American architect
published an unofficial report
called 'Outline of a Master Plan for Greater Bombay'
now this report not only had recommendations
for development of suburbs, housing, traffic
but it also suggested an underground railway systems
for Bombay as well
only this report was unofficial so no further action was taken
some years later
a study group was appointed
under the chairmanship of one S G Barve
to reexamine the proposal of the Modak and Mayer's report
Barve also endorsed the idea of underground railways
but the plan didn't fructify either
simultaneously the BEST brought up the idea in 1956
when a geological survey was conducted
by a Japanese firm
and a plan was drawn
to build the line between the Dadar and Colaba
but the government wouldn't give the required finances
In 1962 another plan was drafted
by a BEST employee called P G Patankar
Patankar was especially sent to Milan and Berlin
to study the underground railway systems there
and his plan was a detailed one
he envisaged five underground lines
a network of 30 kilometers
and details such as dimensions of railway coaches
signalling systems, ventilation, power supply and tunnelling methods
but when the final plan came up
the project cost had risen to around 5 crore rupees
and due to want of this huge capital investment
this project was also shut down
for several years
the idea of underground railways kept coming up
like in 1974 by the Indian Railways
and in 1997 by TCS
and it's only now that work on this project has finally begun
we can only hope that by the year 2020
this long-drawn vision finally comes true

Sewol-ho ferry leaves for Mokpo New Port - Duration: 2:09.
The Sewol-ho ferry has set off on its final journey to Mokpo -- where it will undergo
investigation to find the exact cause of the disaster,... and hopefully recover the remaining
nine bodies still unaccounted for.
The journey is expected to take around eight hours.
Kim Min-ji reports.
The Sewol-ho ferry has embarked on a journey to its last destination, Mokpo New Port -- one-thousand-80
days after it capsized off Korea's southwestern coast.
The semi-submersible transporting the ferry will need to take a few detours on the way
due to a number of islands in its path,... so it will cover a distance of about 105 kilometers...
taking roughly eight hours.
It will make a brief stop on its way to take a pilot on board.
Five maritime police patrol ships will accompany the semi-submersible until it arrives safely
at the port.
"If everything goes as scheduled,... the semi-submersible is expected to arrive at Mokpo New Port at
around 3PM, Korea time."
Then,... over the course of about three days,... sea water and oil will be drained from the
vessel and 50 attachment sites, which secured the Sewol-ho ferry to the semi-submersible,
will be undone.
Later, a module transformer will be used to get the vessel onto land -- which will take
about a day.
All in all, officials expect the first stage to take about four days in total,... providing
the weather remains favorable and there are no problems with the equipment.
After that, the vessel will undergo disinfection and pest control for about a week.
From then on, a search will take place to find the nine missing people whose bodies
have yet to be recovered,... and an investigation will begin into the exact cause of the sinking,...
which killed 304 people in April 2014,... some three years ago.
A special committee tasked with the investigation will work with the families of the missing
to map out the best way to find their relatives by early April.

Professor Toshihiko Takemura (Research Institute for Applied Mechanics) - Duration: 2:20.
I am Toshihiko Takemura of the Research Institute for Applied Mechanics.
I am also in charge of the Interdisciplinary graduate school of Engineering Sciences.
Major environmental issues in which people have strong interests are climate change and air pollution.
I'm conducting research on the relationship between them.
Especially I am interested in fine particle matters suspended in the atmosphere such as PM2.5 and dust.
We refer to them as aerosol.
Aerosol and clouds are causing climate change.
To understand the phenomenon we developed computer software.
And the software operates on super computers.
Fine particles in the atmosphere cause not only air pollution but also climate change.
This is because they reflect sunlight and change cloud properties.
This system is extremely complex and needs further research.
We are using our developed software to forecast the flow of PM2.5 every day.
The forecast is generally available to the public through newspapers, TV, etc.
Utilizing systems that have been created by other people is not so interesting.
So developing our own mechanisms, software and techniques
and improving them is a driving force for new creation.
When we receive recognition for the system we developed,
it leads us to international cooperative research.
And expands the areas of research.
In my case, I was able to work with the United Nations, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC).
When tackling and dealing with environmental problems
we need well-balanced knowledge.
Therefore, besides having your specialty
please tackle a wide range of subjects and research.

HeatherAsh Amara - Feminism & Divine Feminine - Duration: 3:16.
Today were with HeatherAsh Amara and we are going to be talking about Feminism and
the feminine.
HeatherAsh, thank you so much for joining me today.
I would like to hear more about your thoughts on the divine feminine.
The divine feminine is about really honoring the female, the feminine qualities and coming
back into relationship of women as sacred.
Creating that connection again.
So as we talk about the divine feminine, were talking about the sacredness of women, the
sacredness also of these qualities of openness, of compassion, of nurturing.
So why is the divine feminine and feminism such as an important thing for us to be looking
at and talking about?
As woman, weve often been trained that we are not as important as men and that we
don't have as much value and worth.
And because of that, we've really subjugated ourselves to holding ourselves down.
And we do this to ourselves.
And so what feminism is, its saying women and men are equal.
It's not saying women are better than men or that men are bad and women are good.
It's simply saying one thing - men and women are equal.
And that is a concept that everybody could get behind.
So feminism is the simple concept that as women, we need to find our power again and
also honor ourselves as sacred.
Come back in to relationship with ourselves as a divine feminine and honor that we are
equal to men and in connection, in harmony, in support of each other.
That's really interesting because divine feminism is really for everybody then.
Absolutely.
This is not just for women.
It's not just for women and if women step up in a way of recognizing not you will
see that were equal but if just taking their power back.
Everybody benefits, children benefit, men benefit and of course women benefit as well.
So what were looking at is healing society, healing the whole, healing our communities
by bringing the male and female back into balance again as equal.
Thank you HeatherAsh.
Thank you.

INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED
SEVERAL HOURS BEFORE THE

TO VISIT HIM WITH TWO

EVIDENCE AND DEVELOP A
LIST OF
PERSONS OF INTEREST. THEY

WAS THE LAST THEY HEARD
ABOUT POSSIBLE SUSPECTS.

Tai Lopez Conspiracy Not Really - How To Boost Your YouTube Videos For More Exposure - Duration: 9:09.
most viewed youtube videos worldwide ranking your youtube videos How To Boost Your YouTube Videos For More Exposure how to boost your youtube video google search by video youtube video search engine
hey everyone how you doing this is
marlon her the value nair and i want to
make this quick video i was getting
ready to make one of my youtube videos
go lie but I said hey let me share
something with everyone that they may
not know about YouTube okay so as you
can see I made a quick video here and I
have some nice keywords in my title all
right make sure you have some nice
keywords in my title always a system
that i use to help me find videos that
have for certain keywords that haven't
been created or ranked yet okay so i'm
going to show you something really
quickly look at these keywords and then
also i make sure that i put more
keywords here in the description area
okay more keywords here in the
description area and i put some of these
keywords down here in the keyword tag
area now the next thing I do is this I
copy these keywords all right let me
copy them and then I go over to
subtitles and closed caption okay now if
you don't know this YouTube tries it's
best or does its best to capture what
you are saying in your video they make
like a script of what you're what you're
saying in your video so for me it you

what it sounds what it looks like to you
to that I'm saying these words in the
script okay I'll put them somewhere in
in the middle I think it's like a six
minute video i post away in the middle
all right so it looks like I'm saying
these words and then I put it at the end
now when the video plays these words
aren't going to play during the video is
not going to be like you know I'll say
something next you notice I'm gonna say
he was no it's just when it comes to
ranking and people finding your videos
those those words are like really
embedded into the video okay so I'm
gonna go back over here so that's other
subtitles and closed caption you want to
you know make sure when it pops are
going to tell you select your your your
your language you want to publish it I
mean click on this button takes over
there then after you save it to the
subtitles or publix that means that yes
is those those new words are now live in
the video so I'm going to go into info
and settings okay info and settings and
I'm gonna make sure that my links are in
here I write some words I have keywords
in here and then I am going to make it
from unlisted to public all right and
I'm going to hit publish okay now what
this means is that this video is now
live to the public now let's take a look
at my key words here and lets you well

Vulnerable Cavaliers head to Chicago searching for answers - Duration: 7:56.
Vulnerable Cavaliers head to Chicago searching for answers
CHICAGO – The last time LeBron James played at United Center, he arrived in full Chicago Cubs regalia and good-naturedly gave the network TV cameras an extended "perp walk" as he paid off a friendly World Series wager to his bud, Dwyane Wade.
The Cavaliers lost that night, but it was a mere blip on their radar, having won 13 of 17 games to open the 2016-17 regular season. Following the 111-105 defeat on Dec.
2 (Dec. 3, PHL time), Cleveland were right back at it, stringing together five consecutive victories and 13-of-15 to edge into the New Year at 26-7.
Then the Cavs lost to the Bulls again, this time at the Q on Jan. 4 (Jan. 5, PHL time). That was the start of a 21-19 stretch, a veritable half season's worth of mediocrity that lingers to this day.
So when the Cavaliers face a Chicago team Thursday (Friday, PHL time) that is 3-0 against them this season (another loss on Feb.
26, PHL time) and 6-1 overall in the Bulls' otherwise unremarkable Fred Hoiberg era, the last thing on their minds will be the Cubs, the Indians or the start of a new baseball season in a matter of days.
The 2017 NBA Finals loom much larger than the World Series for Cleveland and its fans at the moment. And the hand-wringing over the Cavs' ability to defend their title has begun in force.
"We know we have the culture here," point guard Kyrie Irving told reporters Wednesday after the team's practice. "We know we have the guys.
We know when were not playing up to our level. We just allow it to pass and pass and it turns out to [be a mess].".
Not since their 108-97 Game 4 loss in Oakland, dropping them into a 3-1 hole in the Finals, have the Cavaliers looked so vulnerable.
Over the past six games, during which they've gone 2-4, they've been outscored by an average of 12 points, been beaten on the boards by 6.6 nightly and are letting opponents shoot 50.9 percent from the field.
Over the past five, Cleveland's preferred starting five – James, Irving, Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love and J.R. Smith – are minus-26 points per 100 possessions, per NBA.com/stats.
Injuries have hurt, not just in the manpower lost but in the effectiveness of those players upon return.
Love has been limited to 26.1 minutes per game and 13.5 points, while shooting 31.3 percent from the arc and 42.6 percent overall, since returning from left knee surgery that sidelined him for five weeks.
Smith had thumb surgery, was out for 10 weeks and has been making only 27.3 percent of his three-point attempts since.
Deep threat Kyle Korver will have missed 9-of-12 games with foot soreness when he sits out again against Chicago Thursday (Friday, PHL time).
And another in-season acquisition, guard Deron Williams, still is fitting in; his per-36 numbers with Cleveland (12.3 points, 60 assists) pale next to his career numbers (17.2, 8.5).
Andrew Bogut? His Cavs career lasted less than a minute before he suffered a broken leg. And it's unclear whether another former Bucks center, rusty Larry Sanders, will actually help.
Just blending it all together would be challenge enough, even if the pieces were performing well. Said Cavs coach Tyronn Lue: "Theres been a lot of in and outs to the rotation.
We understand thats part of the game. We just got to catch up.".
The time is now. With the Golden State Warriors reasserting their supremacy in the West this week with back-to-back victories at Houston and at San Antonio, Cleveland hasn't inspired much confidence bumping along at 6-9 in March.
If there's a bright side as they head into their 12th road game this month, the Cavaliers are awake and as determined as Rajai Davis choking up at 2-2 and preparing to turn on a 97-mph fastball from Aroldis Chapman.
Irving, for example, went back to the court late Monday night (Tuesday, PHL time) in San Antonio to work on his shot. He and James reportedly had a private heart-to-heart conversation after that 103-74 spanking by the Spurs.
There's not much talk at the moment of tapering toward the postseason, though Lue has cited fatigue as a potential factor in the team's fade.
And don't expect James and crew to be amused by the Bulls' cute li'l TNT-telecast home winning streak.
It became in Feburary 2013, is up to 19 consecutive victories and counting, and figures to get mentioned prominently heading toward tipoff at United Center Thursday.
But to the Cavaliers, it's a fluke and an irritant that has nothing to do with them.
There wasn't supposed to be much push-back in the East this season. By the end of March a year ago, only Toronto was within 8.5 games of Cleveland in the conference.
Now the Celtics, the Wizards and the Raptors all have been emboldened by the defending champs' sputters, hoping to mess up plans laid by many last summer for a rubber-match Finals.
This season supposedly was going to be a challenge for the Cavs because of its lack of urgency. That's not the issue anymore.
"We've got to get better now, Lue told reporters. "Thats no excuse – 'Just wait till the playoffs' – we've got to get better now. We know that.".

THIS WEEKEND AND IT IS NO APRIL
FOOLS JOKE.
THIS STORM WILL EXTEND THE
SEASON BUT IT IS ALSO CUTTING
INTO LANDSCAPING SEASON.
>> NORMALLY, WE WOULD BE DOING
SPRING CLEANUPS THIS TIME OF
YEAR.
BUT, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT THE
WINTER WILL BE LIKE.
MIKE: HE PLOWS 40 PROPERTIES BY
HIMSELF WITH NO REST.
>> STRAIGHT THROUGH.
IT IS TOUGH SOMETIMES WHEN YOU
GET BIGGER STORMS.
MIKE: BECAUSE OF THE TIMING,
THIS STORM COULD BE EXPENSIVE
FOR DURHAM.
>> A RUN-OF-THE-MILL STORM COULD
BE 12--- $12,000-$15,000.
THIS ONE WILL REQUIRE US TO
BRING IN STAFF ON OVERTIME.
MIKE: IT OPERATES ON A CALENDAR
YEAR BUDGET SO THIS WILL AFFECT
NOVEMBER'S MONEY AND DECEMBER'S
MONEY.
>> WE WILL START TO PUT A HOLD
ON OTHER PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS
TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE SUFFICIENT
FUNDS FOR LATER.
WE ALSO CARRY A CONTINGENCY
BUDGET.
MIKE: AS FOR HULL, HE WILL BE
READY TO TAKE ON WHATEVER
HAPPENS.
>> IT WILL BE TOUGH BECAUSE IT
WILL BE WET AND HEAVY SNOW.
IT WILL BE TOUGH BUT WE WILL GET
IT DONE.
MIKE: IN DURHAM, IT WILL BE ALL
HANDS ON DECK.

Professor Toyoki Kunitake (Institute for Advanced Study) - Duration: 3:05.
I am Toyoki Kunitake.
I started working at Kyushu University over 50 years ago.
And now I have returned to the University in the Kyushu University Institute for Advanced study.
Through industry-university co-operation, with Kyushu University and a venture company called 'Nanomembrane Technologies',
we are carrying out development of large-scale nanomembranes.
The bodies of living things are made from collections of cells.
These cells are enclosed by a cell wall which is
only about 5 nanometers thick.
This membrane thickness is made from just 2 molecules, this can be thought of as the thinnest membrane.
This type of membrane's structure is not only seen in living things,
it can also be made from simple artificial, man-made molecules.
We discovered this over 30 years ago.
Ever since the creation we tried to improve on our artificial membrane.
And research into how best to use our membrane for an actual, useful product continued.
This membrane ratio of thickness to size is one to a million.
We were the first in the world to develop this type of artificial membrane.
Since the industrial revolution, the amount of oil and coal people have consumed has rapidly increased,
as a result the amount of carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere has increased.
You'll have heard in the news how this is linked to global warming.
This is a challenge for all members of the human race.
To reduce the amount of carbon dioxide gas, instead of burning oil and coal,
we need to be utilizing renewable energy sources such as solar power.
Also, there is a need for technology to freely separate carbon dioxide gas from other gases.
The large scale nano-membranes we developed
could be useful in this separation of carbon dioxide gas.
My research history has almost reached 60 years.
I have continued with research without losing interest
because research is so enjoyable.
When I started at the Kyushu University Department of Engineering,
I didn't for one moment think that I would be spending my whole life as a researcher.
However, in my 4th year, for my final year project
I was doing experiments into new materials, and it was so fascinating I became captivated by it.
I thought a job as interesting as this, I want to continue doing it for as long as possible.
And I have been able to continue to this day.
Science and technology have really progressed.
Now there are people who question if there is anything new left to make.
But, the history of science proves that kind of thinking is wrong.
There is absolutely a need for new ways of thinking from the younger generations and further new discoveries.
