because some people will have lost weight eating one meal a day that's not

gonna work for everybody some people do keto which doesn't

usually work for everybody especially like a high intensity athlete that's not

gonna work for everybody then you've got paleo which works for some people but

you know this whole thing is about finding the diet that works best for you

me personally I do a combination kind of of Sam Aikido and paleo where I

typically keep my cards around 100 to 120 when I'm cutting and I keep my

calorie set at a certain level and from that I mix up after I meet my calorie

descriptions for carbs everything else I get in my calories is gonna be protein

and fat healthy fat for the most part because your weight loss journey is not

just simply about getting from point A to point B it's also about putting in

place a lifestyle switch you don't back to the behaviors that got you

overweight in the first place that's the whole goal of this channel life game so

what you're doing this for life you're staying healthy and fit for life and

there are a couple of things you're going to want to have to help make that

process easier and I've got some of those things right here in my kitchen

can adjust into your lifestyle and you two will ultimately make those great

Urinary tract infections affect millions of people every year.

Though they're traditionally treated with antibiotics, there are also many home remedies

available that help treat them and prevent them from reoccurring.

What Is a Urinary Tract Infection?

A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection that affects any part of the urinary tract,

including the kidneys, ureters, bladder or urethra.

Bacteria from the bowel are the most common cause of UTIs, but fungi and viruses can also

cause infection.

The two strains of bacteria, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus saprophyticus, account

for about 80% of cases.

Common symptoms of UTI include:

-A burning sensation when peeing.

-Frequent urination.

-Cloudy or dark urine.

-Urine with a strong odor.

-A feeling of incomplete bladder emptying.

-Pelvic pain.

Though UTIs can affect anyone, women are more prone to infection.

This is because the urethra, the tube that carries urine out of the bladder, is shorter

in women than men.

This makes it easier for bacteria to enter and reach the bladder.

In fact, nearly half of all women will experience a UTI at some point in their lives.

Antibiotics are used to treat UTIs and are sometimes used in low doses long-term to prevent

recurrence.

There are also several natural ways to protect against infections and reduce the risk of

recurrence.

Here are the top 5 home remedies to fight UTI.

Drink plenty of fluids.

Hydration status has been linked to the risk of urinary tract infection.

This is because regular urination can help flush bacteria from the urinary tract to prevent

infection.

One study examined participants with long-term urinary catheters and found that low urine

output was associated with an increased risk of developing a UTI.

A 2003 study looked at 141 girls and showed that low fluid intake and infrequent urination

were both linked to recurrent UTIs.

SUMMARY: Drinking plenty of liquids can decrease the risk of UTIs by making you pee more, which

helps remove bacteria from the urinary tract.

Increase Vitamin C intake.

Some evidence shows that increasing your intake of vitamin C could protect against urinary

tract infections.

Vitamin C is thought to work by increasing the acidity of the urine, thereby killing

off the bacteria that cause infection.

A 2007 study of UTIs in pregnant women looked at the effects of taking 100 mg of vitamin

C every day.

The study found that vitamin C had a protective effect, cutting the risk of UTIs by more than

half in those taking vitamin C compared to the control group.

Fruits and vegetables are especially high in vitamin C and are a good way to increase

your intake.

Red peppers, oranges, grapefruit and kiwifruit all contain the full recommended amount of

vitamin C in just one serving.

SUMMARY: Increasing vitamin C intake may decrease the risk of UTIs by making the urine more

acidic, thus killing off infection-causing bacteria.

Drink unsweetened cranberry juice.

Drinking unsweetened cranberry juice is one of the most well-known natural remedies for

urinary tract infections.

Cranberries work by preventing bacteria from adhering to the urinary tract, thus preventing

infection.

In one recent study, women with recent histories of UTIs drank an 8-ounce (240-ml) serving

of cranberry juice every day for 24 weeks.

Those who drank cranberry juice had fewer UTI episodes than the control group.

Another study showed that consuming cranberry products may lower the number of UTIs in a

year, especially for women who have recurrent UTIs.

However, some other studies suggest that cranberry juice may not be as effective in the prevention

of UTIs.

Although the evidence is mixed, cranberry juice may be helpful in reducing the risk

of urinary tract infections.

Keep in mind that these benefits only apply to unsweetened cranberry juice, rather than

sweetened commercial brands.

SUMMARY: Some studies show that cranberries could help reduce the risk of urinary tract

infections by preventing bacteria from adhering to the urinary tract.

Take a probiotic.

Probiotics are beneficial microorganisms that are consumed through food or supplements.

They can promote a healthy balance of bacteria in your gut.

Probiotics are available in supplement form or can be found in fermented foods, such as

kefir, kimchi, kombucha and probiotic yogurt.

The use of probiotics has been linked to everything from improved digestive health to enhanced

immune function.

Some studies also show that certain strains of probiotics may decrease the risk of UTIs.

Antibiotics, the main line of defense against UTIs, can cause disturbances in levels of

gut bacteria.

Probiotics may be beneficial in restoring gut bacteria after antibiotic treatment.

SUMMARY: Probiotics could help prevent UTIs when used alone or in combination with antibiotics.

Practice healthy habits.

Preventing urinary tract infections starts with practicing a few good bathroom and hygiene

habits.

First, it's important not to hold urine for too long.

This can lead to a buildup of bacteria, resulting in infection.

Next, peeing after sexual intercourse can also reduce the risk of UTIs by preventing

the spread of bacteria.

Additionally, those who are prone to UTIs should avoid using spermicide, since it has

been linked to an increase in UTIs.

Finally, when you use the toilet, make sure you wipe front to back.

Wiping from back to front can cause bacteria to spread to the urinary tract and is associated

with an increased risk of UTIs.

SUMMARY: Urinating frequently and after sexual intercourse can reduce the risk of UTI.

Spermicide use and wiping from back to front may increase the risk of UTI.

That's Actually a Bad Sign for Your Health.

It's natural for your weight to fluctuate during the year.

Maybe you eat a bit too much during the holidays and gain a bit of weight, or you come down

with the stomach flu and end up dropping a few pounds—a slight swing on the scale is

normal and nothing to worry about.

But if you drop at least 5 percent of your body weight in less than six months—and

you can't pinpoint a good explanation for that weight loss—it's time to let your

doctor know what's up, says Anne Cappola, MD, an endocrinologist and professor of medicine

at the University of Pennsylvania.

That means if you're 150 pounds, a weight fluctuation of about 7 or 8 pounds in a short

amount of time should be a red flag.

"It's not common to lose a significant amount of weight without an obvious reason,"

Dr. Cappola says.

"If you're losing weight and nothing's changed with your diet or activity, you need

to worry about that a little bit."

In fact, unexplained weight loss could be an early sign of a serious health condition,

says Kerry Hildreth, MD, an assistant professor of geriatric medicine at the University of

Colorado.

Here, eight health issues that could explain why you're losing weight so suddenly.

Thyroid issues.

Weight loss is a common symptom of hyperthyroidism—or an over-active thyroid, Dr. Cappola says.

This means your thyroid—the butterfly-shaped gland in your neck that helps regulate your

metabolism and growth—is pumping out too many hormones, resulting in a slew of body

changes.

"If I suspected a thyroid issue, I'd probably look for increased hunger or heart palpitations,"

she explains.

Sleeping problems or feeling hot all the time are also common symptoms of an over-active

thyroid, she says.

Gut diseases.

Celiac disease—an autoimmune disorder in which ingesting gluten causes damage to the

small intestine—can cause a drop in weight, and tends to be accompanied by other GI symptoms

like bloating and diarrhea, says Jamile Wakim-Fleming, MD, a gastroenterologist at Cleveland Clinic.

Why?

If you have celiac disease and eat gluten, your immune system freaks out a bit.

This reaction can mess with the lining of your small intestine, hampering its ability

to help you absorb nutrients properly, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's disease can also lead to unexplained weight

loss due to malabsorption as well.

Pancreatitis.

Problems with your pancreas, which produces enzymes that aid in digestion, can also lead

to unexplained weight loss, Dr. Wakim-Fleming says.

People with chronic pancreatitis—a disease in which the pancreas becomes inflamed—tend

to lose weight quickly (even if they are eating normally) because the body simply doesn't

produce enough enzymes for proper digestion of food to occur, according to The National

Pancreas Foundation.

Look for symptoms like stomach pain, discolored (or oily) poop, diarrhea, or nausea after

eating fatty foods.

Depression.

Loss of appetite is a common side effect of clinical depression, and one that can promote

unexplained weight loss if you're unaware that your mood swings are something a bit

more serious.

"In a lot of cases, the person doesn't even notice they're losing weight because

they're mired in the depression," Dr. Cappola explains.

Irritability, heavy drinking, indecision, and problems sleeping are other common symptoms

of depression.

Diabetes.

"Especially early on, new-onset diabetes can cause weight loss," Dr. Cappola says.

You may also feel crazy thirsty and notice you're peeing all the time "Your body

is literally peeing out glucose because you can't absorb it, and that drives thirst,"

she explains.

Diabetes also causes your body to suck nourishment from your muscles, which fuels the sudden

weight drop.

Rheumatoid arthritis.

Dr. Hildreth says inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis—a condition in

which your immune system attacks your healthy tissues by mistake—or some types of infection

can knock out a sufferer's appetite, causing a drop on the scale.

These conditions can also cause inflammation in your gut, which could mess with nutrient

absorption, leading to unexplained weight loss before diagnosis.

Not eating enough.

Dr. Hildreth mentions something experts refer to as the "obesity paradox."

Later in life, weight loss—not weight gain—is associated with a greater risk of death.

"As we age, the stomach empties more slowly, which makes you feel fuller longer," she

says.

"Also, some of the brain signals that control appetite and fullness become attenuated."

All of this can lead to older adults eating less, losing weight, and failing to get enough

nutrients to support their bodies' needs.

"Many medications can also affect your appetite, so you need to pay attention to how much and

how often you're eating," Dr. Hildreth adds.

Cancer.

Several types of cancer, as well as a tumor or ulcer in your stomach or intestines, can

cause inflammation or malabsorption issues that may lead to a drop in weight, Dr. Wakim-Fleming

says.

"If someone comes to me with unexplained weight loss, I'll check their stomach and

colon and bowels for tumors or inflammation," she says.

"I'll als0 look for tumors in the esophagus"—the tube that connects your throat and stomach—"which

can make it hard to swallow."

Eden's zero coming out this week so I want to have a little bit of a

Adult Film Actress Accused of Hatching Murder-for-Hire Plot Pleads Not Guilty - 247 news - Duration: 2:45.

An adult film actress accused of trying to orchestrate a killing stood before a federal judge this week and entered not guilty pleas to five counts of using interstate commerce in the commission of murder-for-hire, PEOPLE learns.

Katrina Danforth, 31, made her first appearance in an Idaho court on Wednesday.

Danforth denied using a telephone and the federal mail system to try to arrange the murder of someone in Idaho, identified in court filings only as "R.H," who was ultimately not harmed.

The indictment against Danforth provides no identifying information about the alleged intended victim, including how the defendant and alleged target are believed to know each other.

An attorney for Danforth — who performs under the names Lynn Passion and Lynn Pleasant — could not be reached for comment Friday.

Adult Film Actress Charged in Murder-for-Hire Plot, Arrested at Airport

The indictment against Danforth, previously obtained by PEOPLE, alleges the plot first started taking shape in mid-October and that plans for the hired hit were finalized by phone and mail over the ensuing weeks.

Federal agents arrested Danforth on Dec. 19 at the Spokane International Airport in Washington. She made her initial appearance that same day in federal court in Spokane.

Authorities did not include details in the indictment about the alleged planned killing or how it came to light.

If convicted, Danforth could be imprisoned for up to 10 years. Each count she faces also carries a maximum $250,000 fine.

Danforth remains in federal custody without bail.

Also on Wednesday, an initial trial date of March 4 was set for the start of Danforth's trial.

Considering they also face Arsenal on January 19 and then the second leg against Spurs on the 22nd, Sarri will be eager to get as many key players back in the coming weeks to ensure that he has a fully fit squad to choose from to keep them on track to win trophies

Giroud has struggled for goals so far this season, scoring just five in 22 appearances

However, he has also chipped in with four assists, and given his aerial threat and physical presence, he certainly offers an important alternative option up front for Chelsea

As for Pedro, the Spaniard has six goals and two assists in 26 outings, and given Chelsea have only managed to score four goals in their five games, Sarri will surely welcome back any of his attackers with open arms to help add a different dynamic and threat in the final third
