Waching daily Jan 3 2019

It's been six years to the day since Liverpool signed Daniel Sturridge.  A £12million capture from Chelsea, the striker immediately hit the ground running at Anfield and gave a new-look Reds side under Brendan Rodgers an added dimension up top

In the resulting 2190 days since he put to paper on what was described as a "long-term deal" by Liverpool, the striker has seen it all

He arrived at Liverpool with Rodgers' side a work in progress, but quickly helped accelerate the development of the manager's long-term plan

The Northern Irishman was just a few short months into his tenure with the Reds in January 2013 and they only really began to show glimpses of the style he wanted to implement at Anfield once Sturridge - and Philippe Coutinho - arrived through the doors that month

Sturridge would finish the season with 11 goals in all competitions before playing a starring role in a Liverpool team that has come as close as any to winning the Premier League a year later

The 2013/14 season saw Sturridge strike up an incredible partnership with Luis Suarez, with the former blasting in 24 goals in all competitions to complement the 32 the Uruguayan genius netted in his final campaign with the club

Suarez was operating at his peak of his powers and rightly lauded as one of the world's best players - and Sturridge wasn't too far behind his level after a blistering campaign that would see Rodgers' Reds finish with 101 goals and three points short of the title

However, the 2014/15 campaign would prove to be something of a turning point. Sturridge was ravaged by injury throughout as he made just 12 Premier League appearances in Rodgers' final full season

Another year of set-backs would limit him to just 14 games in the top flight as Jurgen Klopp lamented an inability to field his gifted No

15 on a more regular basis.  "I have not been that long here but I understand why everyone is waiting, but we have to accept the situation," said Klopp

"The situation is Daniel has been very often injured in the last months and years

It is normal that when you get back in training for this to happen."  Roberto Firmino eventually nudged ahead in the pecking order under Klopp as the Brazilian became recognised more and more as a traditional centre-forward, meaning Sturridge was relegated to the role of understudy

The 2016/17 season saw Sturridge turn out for the Reds 27 times in all competitions as Klopp began to reap the rewards of a specially-tailored fitness programme for the one-time talisman

However, with competition for places increased by the signings of Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke in 2017, Sturridge found game-time limited the following season and he made just four starts before departing on loan for what would be an unsuccessful loan stint at West Brom

Last summer seemingly brought about a renewed hunger and desire from Sturridge as he impressed Klopp and his coaching staff throughout pre-season with a series of eye-catching performances

A lack of quality isn't a problem Sturridge has wrestled with throughout his career, but the striker returned from his post-season break with a spring his step looking sharper, leaner and fitter than he had for some time

The writing on the wall that appeared to signal the end of his Anfield stay was washed off as Sturridge began the campaign in fine style, netting four times before the beginning of October - including a Goal-of-the-Season contender away at Chelsea

An opening weekend tap-in against West Ham, two goals against Chelsea and his first-ever for the club in the Champions League - in a 3-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain, no less - meant Sturridge was providing his most significant contributions to the Liverpool cause for a number of years

The New Year sees Sturridge into the final few months of his current Liverpool contract however, and the ex-Manchester City man is free to discuss pre-contract terms with clubs outside of England this month

For Sturridge though, a player whose fortunes have wildly fluctuated over the past six years, the next few months of his stay on Merseyside could yet be his most important yet

Admittedly, the status that Sturridge once enjoyed with the Reds is no longer there and Klopp does not have to sweat weekly on the fitness of the forward - or deliver repeated updates on the well-being of the ex-England man

But as Sturridge begins his sixth year as a Liverpool player, the former Chelsea man could still have a huge part to play in the club's attempts to end a painful 29-year wait for a league title

The contract may be ticking away into its final few weeks, but Sturridge's personal plans for the future can be shelved until June

He has, like the rest of his current team-mates, the chance to become an Anfield immortal this year

It's an opportunity he surely won't want to pass on.

Is Anne Fulenwider Married? Does She Have a Husband? | Heavy.com

Anne Fulenwider is a well-known name in the world of media, journalism, and communications.

She has served as the editor in chief of Marie Claire magazine since 2012, and tonight, she will appear on Project Runway All Stars, where she will serve as a judge.

Fulenwider has done extremely well for herself, and with all that time in the spotlight, people have grown curious about her personal life.

What do we know about her husband?.

Read on.

Fulenwider lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Bryan Blatstein, and their two children, Evie and Sammy Blatstein.

Her husband works as a branding/media strategist.

Fulenwider relies on her family when things get hectic at work.

During fashion week, for example, she says she has their nanny, her husband, and her parents on call.

She tells The Cut, "My husband, nanny, and parents are sort of on notice.

September Fashion Week is almost always the first week of New York City public school and February Fashion Week is almost always that one week schools have off.

That just means we always have a really fun big family vacation planned for April and for the Christmas holiday.".

The two do their best to relax on the weekends.

Fulenwider shares with the outlet, "On the weekends, I love nothing more than a glass of wine or a cocktail with my husband.".

Blatstein hails from Philadelphia.

According to his LinkedIn, he has worked with a number of large companies, like Philips Healthcare, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Nestlé, Gerber, Allergan, and more.

He graduated from New York University in 1996, where he studied drama at Tisch School of the Arts.

Blatstein went on to spend seven years as a media specialist group at Chandler Chicco Companies, followed by three years as senior vice president of TogoRun.

Today, he works at inVentiv Health Communications.

Fulenwider, meanwhile, worked as the editor-in-chief of Brides before taking her post at Marie Claire.

Prior to those gigs, Fulenwider served as senior articles editor at Vanity Fair.

She has also worked as a senior editor at The Paris Review and served as George Plimpton's research assistant on his book "Truman Capote".

Fulenwider graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in English and American literature from Harvard in 1995.

Asked by the Huffington Post how her life experience has made her the leader she is today, she says, "Well I am an older sister so I have always been a bit bossy.

And I discovered when I edited my high school newspaper that I really liked to lead a team— not just the bossing people around part but also collaborating with smart people.

As I came up in the industry I worked for great bosses, all of who had their unique leadership style, and I cribbed a little from each.

From George Plimpton I learned to champion good work; from Graydon Carter I learned to demand excellence, and put my foot down when I needed to, and from Joanna Coles I learned to give everyone a chance.

And then there is nothing like just being thrown in to the frying pan as a first time editor in chief.

A lot of what I learned about leadership I learned on the job.

I am a much better leader now than I was when I started.".

Be sure to tune into this season of Project Runway– the final season begins tonight at 8pm ET/PT on Lifetime.

Anthem: The Earth Is Meant For One And All - Duration: 10:54.

Greetings, planetary citizens. I'm Michael Rick Fendel.

And today's quote comes from Oprah Winfrey:

"Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right."

Well It's a brand new year all right, and I wish for you all these three universal symbols:

Peace, love, and chocolate.

And down here we have on this end, hugs; and on the other end, kisses;

and in the middle, love. And these three symbols down here go back to the Middle Ages.

There are those who claim that the heart symbol for love goes way, way back---centuries and centuries BC---

and they may just be right.

Well, if you celebrate your new year at other times in the calendar---

and there are many ethnic and cultural communities around the planet that do that very thing---

or if you're tuning in just any day of the year, just any month...

Well, always remember that of course it is a brand new day and in a sense, in that case---

In a sense. It's a brand new year

Brand New Day, by the way that was a wonderful song by Van Morrison with just amazing lyrics.

And it's in the spirit of all of this that I now wish to present to you

The Earth Is Meant For One And All

Let's begin Let's make a plan.

We can do it I know we can

It's a plan that we won't shirk

Let's create a world that works

Let's make a year that works for all

We won't wait and we won't stall

Winter and Spring, Summer and Fall

The Earth Is Meant For One And All

This is more than an appeal

Let's all get behind the wheel

We'll meditate and then we'll share

We'll make the answers to our prayers

It's the plan that won't be small

It's the plan that works for all

The plan for now and the long haul

The Earth Is Meant For One And All

They'll say you dream, you're so ideal

We all have dreams; let's make them real

It starts with farms, cities and towns

It's the same the whole world 'round

Let's do the plan that works for all

Let's make it work: we heed the call

It starts with love---that breaks the wall

Walls just divide us after all

Let's begin Let's make the plan

We can do it I know we can

It's a plan that we won't shirk

Let's create a world that works

Let's do the plan that works for all

Let's make it work: we heed the call

It starts with love---that breaks the wall

Walls just divide us after all

It's the plan that won't be small

It's the plan that works for all

The plan for now and the long haul

The Earth Is Meant For One And All

The plan for now and the long haul

The Earth Is Meant For One And All
