In this video, I'll du just the same thing as the swedish network Splay did
In Splays' video, Katrin Berndt, Daniel Nordberg and Hampus Hedström competed about who could survive the longest
and they did it in 16 hours
So now I will do the same thing
I've bought some things for less than 100 SEK, so let's see how long I stand it
My goal is to beat Hampus that were in the wilderness for 16 hours
from 9:22 AM to 1:10 PM

My throat started to hurt now
I am breathless, I'm warm, I've already get a bad start because of that I 'm sweating after this walk
So i took of my jacket because it's not good at all to sweat, because then I'll get wet, and then * will not make it in this could
So I have a bad start but nevermind
As I showed, the clock was 9:22 AM, now it's a little bit more because I'm a little bit late
But 9:22 AM, they got their first sms
And here I've wrote notes from that video
I watched it 3 times to see so everything is right
okay, so 9:22 AM, they got their first mission, it's -1C degree at their place
and then it stand something like "to survive in the wilderness, you have to get a sleeping berth
that's my first SMS. I haven't got any SMS but we say so...
and i think that it looks so nice when it shows in the video how cold is it
so I brought me a thermometer here
It said under 0C degree earlier but then I laid it in my jacket and now it has increased some degrees
I'll hang it on the tree here
so, I'll look for a place to build my hut at
here I have all my stuff, but now I'll search for a good spot, and then I'll show what I've bought
Here I've found a great place
it's one tree where my jacket hangs
and we have one...

We'll see how much I can build
'Cause I want it pretty soft on the ground, pretty much moss. It's though moss everywhere but...

okay here we have a plastic bag with all the stuff I've bought
We can start here, this is the stuff so you'll be able to watch me
stuff like cameras, flashlights
This one is really bad, but I have this one also
So you'll be able to see me
And that's it, this is the camera bag
And I just took this plastic bag to have my cameras in if it starts to rain
The stuff I've bought for less than 100 SEK is...
a bundle of rope, a cheap knife, garbage bags,
two matchboxes,

And food
'Cause I can't make it without food and this was the cheapest bread I could find

And you know what the thing is? I realized that I've chosen a great spot here 'cause...
it's just thinned here, so it is so many great sticks and things to build with
So I can find my whole hut at the ground, that's awesome!
But let's search for some wood and stuff

Okay! This is what the inside look like
It seems pretty cool anyway, I'm pleased with this
So now, the flying attacks are done
We need protection at the sides also for side attacks as wild boar and moose.
I'm really scared of Wild boar and moose if they would come in the darkness anyway
'Cause the wild boar are active in the night, and the moose are big, clumsy and scary animals
It's pretty cozy in here
I'm a little pensive about how to sleep
Maybe just straight over here, we'll see how much space I get also
But it would be so cozy to have the fire in here
But we'll see where I can have the fire, 'cause it's not too safe in here...
If you have a fire over moss, the moss can burn pretty long time.
I'll maybe have to go out and light the fire. But we'll see about that later
Now I'm sitting on a log so I don't get wet in my *ss
But I don't think I can make the walls yet, because it's easier to take the whole roof first
So I'll start with the garbage bags, let's open them
8 bags, 125 Liters, made of recycled plastic

Though, you'll maybe think that it's a little bit cheating now, 'cause I saw what they other bought, so I can take inspiration from them,
But I can promise you that I already thought to bring garbage bags into the forest before I even saw that video
And you maybe think that I'm sitting and lying now, but I can promise you that it is so
So don't judge me
Okay, this is so much
I was thinking about just take one side with the bags so I can sleep under, but this will be enough for more than that
I need a bed and quilt also though
The sick thing is that I can stand straight up in here. I didn't thought that I could build a this big hut that fast lol
My first battery just died, so I am a little unsure about how much I actually can record but...
But this is what it looks like now, it's one, two and three bags
A gap somewhere but I can't make much about it
Or maybe I could, but that would take long time
And it has taken me so long time to get all this up
I really wish I have hot dogs to my bread right now..
And I'm a little bit afraid right now, 'cause the clock is around 12:00 AM
Eehmm..
So I've been here in 2,5 hours and I'm unsure about how long time it will take to get this done
'Cause I will have fir twigs as the roof, then a lot of sticks as walls,
And then also fir twigs on that
And I also have to make fire soon, I don't know actually when I'll get that SMS
But I actually start being a little cold so I would love to do fire right now...
But I have to keep on now anyway
A little gaps here and there, but I can't do much about that

The clock is 12:57 AM, and around this time, (or more like 12:52 AM at them I think) in Splay's video...
What should I call it? At the other's?
Let's call it Splay's video, it is actually their video.
And at this time at them, it's around 0C degrees, all the competitor are still fighting
Hampus is sitting and eating cold soup right now and Daniel is sitting in a tree to yodel...
And I sit here and I'm soon done with the... Okay, now I'm just halfway... Or naah? a little bit more
Well... I've done pretty much to my shelter
Where did I put my thermometer?
It's pretty fogged right now
But it shows just under the 0. It's -2C degrees
And I'm so freaking hungry so I have to eat some bread now
Here I have 8 bread (10*)
I think that I just start with one or two
We'll see, I will though be here pretty long
Ahh
it's so great
I really wonder about...
what Daniel, Hampus, and Katrin did during the whole day...
'Cause they did not have this big hut at all, but I'm soon done with mine, and they didn't even get any more SMS until 3:06 PM
I have things to do though, 'cause my hut is not done yet
Then I'll collect things that I can light up as a fire

It's -1C degrees, Katrin found small, sweet deer footmarks that she thought was big freaking moose around her
Well that's what happens right now in their video
I sit here and are almost done with my shelter though
now it's just some fir twigs left around it

I want some shelter there also however so It can't come in any wild boar and stuff like that
And as you see, it looks like the morning sun, but It's actually evening sun...
The sun is on it's way down
And that's pretty boring 'cause they did Splay's video the 10th of Mars,
So it was actually a little more light out. Now it's the 28th of December... So it's 7 days from the years darkest day
The 21th was the darkest day of the year
So it's dark already 3:30 PM...
So I'll have to get the fire ready as fast as I can after 3:06 PM when I'll get the SMS about a fire
But I'm thinking about do that earlier actually...
Lol, that scared me
I went around here just to record a little, and then I tripped so I did a huge step,
And then it sat there. So I started the camera when it was somewhere there
but it was a rabbit anyway
The clock is 3:06 PM as you can see
And now I got the next SMS that says: To survive in the wilderness, you have to get heat
So fire thus, finally
I've collected a lot of sticks here
The lens is so foggy because I'm so hot
Here we have small sticks, more small sticks, a little bigger, also a little bigger
A little mixed
and here we have pretty big sticks as you can see
And here's what I've done since the last scene
(when the clock was 2:33 PM
I took 2 bags and filled them with a lot of moss
So I can use it as bed, quilt and pillow
So I can sleep softer and warmer
But I don't want to fire outside so I will put my fire here, you see the little pit here, I'll have the fire there
I wanted to have stones around, But I realized after I've kicked the stones for a while that they were stuck.
So I don't care about the stones
It's pretty dark for you, but I hope that doesn't matter anyway
Here's my matches
I think that I'll start in this, it's just really thin spruce sticks
We'll maybe have to use some matches to lay in the fire as fuel
And there they died...
It's a little tight about space for the fire to breath
Okay, it seems like it will go pretty well
Wow, this is even really wet sticks lol

I didn't think that it will burn this fast, but it did!
Now we have our little cute fire here
I just hope that it doesn't go out now
I'll have to...
use a little bigger sticks now also
So that the fire can grow bigger
'Cause this little I've used to start it will not burn long at all
Oh, my jacket hangs in the smoke
Now we have to go bigger and bigger
Build more
Well, it's unfortunately very wet wood, so it smokes a lot
Now we can start even bigger
I can already lay the bigger sticks around so they can dry
When I see this great fire, I get so happy in my stomach 'cause I just think that I'll grill some hot dogs...
But I ain't gonna do that, I just have my dry little hot dog bun...
Now I'll use even bigger sticks when it has started to recover

A little extra sticks, some extra crap, some bigger crap, more wood
quilt and pillow, ropes.. yeah... I am a little scattered here

Okay I don't know how much you see now but

As you see, it is actually not as cold in here as outside
I've placed the thermometer as long way from the fire but still inside the hut
it's at least -3C, -4C degrees outside
This light is not atrong at all

I just wanted to say: If you just knew how soft I will lay tonight
this bed is so awesome
It's so nice
It's like sleep in a real bed, it's just much harder
But it's not ghard to be hard... It's soft to be hard you know
much moss, it's on the right place, it's great!
I have 4 of 10 bread left
So I should manage 16 hours
Yea. That's how i feel right now

But I've been out a little to get more moss, more wood
It's pretty dark though so it's hard to see lol

So the whole shelter is built in 7 knots
