good morning everyone Jennifer LeClaire here with you author of our devotional
mornings with the holy spirit listening daily to the still small voice of God
I'm the senior leader at The Awakening House of Prayer in South Florida founder
of the Ignite prophetic Network today's devotion titled will you yield to me
what a question that's a loaded question here's what I heard the Lord say I can
do the impossible through you if you yield to me what is impossible with man
is possible with God I am looking for someone through whom I
can show myself strong I am looking for someone who will stand in the gap I am
looking for someone who will say Here I am send me I am looking for someone who
will be faithful a faithful witness as Christ is I am looking for someone like
you what do you say that's an invitation I love the invitations today's scripture
references second chronicles chapter 16 verse 9
Isaiah six and eight in Revelation chapter one verses four through six and
the prayer started for today if you can use my life for your glory then use it
I don't feel worthy of the high calling you have for me but I know you'll work
through people will you equip me to do what you need me to do will you give me
the resolve to yield to your will and of course his answer is yes and amen
father we thank you today that you always show up on time with grace with
mercy with strength with whatever it is we need you are faithful we give praise
to the faithful God the one who died for us the one who cleaned this up and who
cleanses us from unrighteousness continually as we confess our sins you
wash us clean you wipe away the tears from our eyes the remorse the sorrow
over the missteps and the mistakes God we praise you this
morning for who you are you are the incomparable God there's no language
that we could use that could ever sufficiently describe your beauty your
faithfulness your loyalty to us your goodness and your kindness the kind
intentions of your will there are no words my god that could adequately
describe who you are all we have is our limited natural language which is
lacking in the fullness of expression of your glory words cannot suffice God but
we use the words that we do have and we say yes to your heart yes to your will
yes to your ways God we surrender to you this morning and we accept your
invitation when your heart cries who shall go and
who will I send who will stand in the gap and make up the hedge who will
preach my gospel with signs following who will lay hands on the sick and see
them recover who will cast out demons who who who we said Lord Here I am send
me here we are God send us we will go into the highways and the byways we will
go into the prisons and into the orphanages we will go and serve the
widows we will go we will go we will go God make us able to go or give us the
funding to send somebody else so that they can go and we can be partakers of
the blessing of going even when our life circumstances prohibit us from issue
from from from from from going into the nation's from going into the jails god
help us Lord to get your Great Commission fulfilled completed by your
grace and with the cooperation of your spirit God we are serious God we are
serious God we don't want to just hear the bless me only sermons anymore God we
don't have the tolerance for the bless me only sermons anymore of course you're
gonna provide for us we don't need to hear more and more and more every
Sunday every Sunday every Sunday god we want to be challenged in our faith we
want to be challenged by your goodness we want to be challenged to grow up and
be more like you there are eternal rewards but there are souls whose
eternal destiny is at stake god help us to see both sides of this equation
there are eternal rewards for those who do your will on this earth in this age
eternal rewards rewards that will last eternity but let that not be our soul or
our primary motivation God let us see the bigger picture there are souls whose
eternity is at stake they're going to go to hell if we don't rise up and stop
playing patty-cake in the church they're going to go to hell if we don't get
about your business God and preach your gospel not the sugar-coated
kandi gospel but the one that requires something of us the one that requires us
to lay down our lives to surrender everything and all that we have to be
willing to look at our hearts and say I'm not straight I'm not right I'm not
in an appropriate alignment I don't have it all together and I can't be as useful
as I need to be to my master until I deal with my own pride until I deal with
my own jealousy until I deal with my own hurts and my own wounds I am limited god
help us Lord to look at the big picture and be willing to take responsibility
for our lives and then to step beyond that and take responsibility for sharing
the life of God with another who may never otherwise understand your goodness
because we didn't bother to share it God would you help us today would you help
us to make that shift from a selfless from a selfishness perspective to a
selfless perspective in Jesus name Oh God God it's all about YOU Jesus it's
all about you it's all about you the law and the prophets all pointed to you
Jesus the law and the prophets it all pointed to you Jesus the law and the
offices all pointed to you Jesus that's why Elijah and Moses were sitting
standing with Jesus and the Mount of Transfiguration it was the law and the
prophets and it pointed to Jesus God let our revelation of yesterday not be
sufficient but let us pursue each and every day the revelation of the Christ
the Son of the Living God when they were up on that Mount of Transfiguration the
father said listen to him this is my beloved son listen to him listen to him
god help us to listen to your son your word tells us that in the old days that
you spoke to man through the prophets but in this era in this epoch in this
dispensation you speak to us through your son god help us to listen to him
help us God to learn of him God help us to put Jesus at the center
of our focus and build churches where you feel welcome to build churches not
to gather more people not to erect bigger buildings not to raise bigger
offerings but churches that make you feel welcome churches that put you at
the center churches that put you in the center that put you that are Christ
centric God help us Lord to keep you in the center it's all about YOU Jesus is
not about us it's about you you are the head of the church god help us to submit
to you in all of our ways you know I was very very young on the Lord I went to a
life group a cell group and everybody that the life group leader had his pick
scriptures out of a hat it was like written all little pieces of paper and
everybody got scriptures like oh Jesus is going to bless you with every
spiritual blessing oh you're gonna be prosperous and everything you put your
hand to you are healed and hold everybody got all these cool scriptures
and the scripture listen to me the scripture that I pulled was Jesus is the
all in all and at the time because I was so immature I was so young in the Lord I
didn't even really understood what that meant all I knew was everybody else got
scriptures about blessing and scriptures about prosperity and scriptures about
all these things and what I got was Jesus is the all at
all but what I didn't understand in that moment and what I remembered by the
revelation of the Holy Spirit this morning who reminded me of that incident
was that I got the biggest blessing of all I got the reminder that I needed I
don't need to be reminded that God shall supply all my needs I don't need to be
reminded that he is my deliverer I don't need to be reminded of Who I am in
Christ no not really I need to remember every day of my life that Jesus is the
all-in-all he is the great I am it's who he is it's not even about Who I am in
him it is about who he is in me God would you help us today to keep you at
the center of our focus I said Jesus is in the floodgates day 30 of 40 day 30 of
the 40 days of the flood gates Jesus is in the flood gates and when God told me
that that was the theme for this morning when the Holy Spirit said Jesus is in
the flood gates it did not even occur to me that this is day 30 day 30 when Jesus
was 30 that's what he began his ministry he began his ministry at the age of 30
and today is day 30 and God wants us to get a greater revelation of Jesus Jesus
is standing I can son of Oishi Katie I see a vision I see a vision of Jesus now
standing at the head of the flood gates looking down saying look at me he's
looking down at us and he's saying look at me he is looking down at us and he's
saying look at me amid all the renewal and amid all over the blessing amid all
of the deliverance all of these things emanate from him all of these things
come from him all of these things come from the River of Life the river that
comes from the throne of God the rivers of living water all of these things that
are in the flood gates they all emanate from him they're all part of the
blessings oh Jesus your word says that you have
blessed us with every spiritual blessing
and you are at the head of the flood gates today god help us Lord to to
recalibrate our hearts tear that is all about you you are the head
of the church you are the all in all you are the
bright and morning star you are the lily of the valley you are
the first and the last the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the end
you are the faithful witness you are the friend who sticks closer than a brother
you're all these things and more you are everything we need at any moment at any
given time you are the pathway to the Father you are the way you are the truth
you are the life you are the bread of life when we eat of your body and drink
of your blood we are partakers of your divine nature god help us to see you in
the floodgates help us to see you in the floodgates you are our joy you are the
lifter of our head you are the lover of our soul Jesus help us Lord to draw
closer to you to explore the depths of who you are
the one who laid down his will for the Father's will the one who only did what
he saw the father doing the one who allowed himself to be nailed to a cross
we just don't get it the one who had such a passion for me the one who had
such a passion for you the one who is and was it is to come the one who
allowed himself to be tortured bloodied bruised beaten mocked persecuted
betrayed he allowed it come on now he didn't have to allow it he emptied
himself of his divinity being found in the form of a man and being led by the
Spirit he didn't have to do it he didn't have to pick Judas he didn't have to get
up on that cross he didn't have to do it he did it for you he didn't have to
promise healing he didn't have to promise deliverance he didn't have to
fill us with His Holy Spirit he didn't have to birth a church so that we could
all come together unified that this gospel this life-saving gospel could be
propagated throughout the earth and disciples could be raised up not just
people but nations father we thank you for your son Jesus Christ or to help us
to keep you at the center of everything we do some of you aren't getting it some
of you are disappointed I'm looking down I see barely no comments barely no
hearts you want to hear about the blessing you know what I'm talking to
you about the greatest blessing ever ever ever ever ever as a church we've
strayed so far away we build churches with programs and I'm not against
programs but dear God don't buddy ever talks about Jesus and he's the head of
the church I shouldn't say nobody but so few so few we're so focused on
prosperity and we're so focused on healing and then whatever superstar
Rockstar Christian can perform a sign in wonder it's good to perform signs and
wonders but not at the expense of neglecting the one who gave us the
authority and who gives us of his spirit to release the signs and wonders it's
his gifts it's only by His grace it's only by his sacrifice it's only by what
he did on the cross it's only by his delegated authority it's only by his
name it's only by his word somehow we leave Jesus so much we just leave him
out of so much we just leave him out of so much and he is at the head of the
floodgate saying come up higher he is there in the flood gate saying learn of
me for I am meek and humble lowly of heart come to me all of you whose hearts
are are burdened whose hearts are heavy late and whose souls are being crushed
by the pressures of life and I will give you rest I will give you rest
father help us to remember that you are the rest giver you are the waymaker you
are the miracle worker help us to get our priorities straight that we would
stop looking around for the next blessing and realized that you are the
blessing that we would stop looking outward and start looking to Christ in
us the hope of glory to stop looking for a get-rich-quick scheme stop looking for
a self-help program and start looking at you because all of our needs are met
according to your riches and glory help us Lord to get this straight help us
Lord to understand who you really are and what you really did help us Lord to
embrace Christ ology the study of Christ all of your parables all of everything
you did in those Gospels it pointed back to you and your goodness and to the
Father Oh y'all don't like me today you want to hear about vindication and you
want to hear about blessings and this is the blessing you came from heaven to
earth you didn't have to we would be going to hell god help us to keep you in
the center of our focus beloved this changes everything
the bridegroom Jesus is the bridegroom he's not just your king he's not just
your judge some of you have seen Jesus as the judge and and he is a judge but
there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus and you
walk around feeling less than because the enemy has brought condemnation to
your doorstep but Jesus is the righteous judge but he's also your bridegroom can
you imagine someone never talking to their bridegroom someone never talking
to their husband to their spouse
forgive us for not putting you first forgive us Lord for accepting your
salvation and not making you our Lord or making you our Lord on Sundays but
neglecting to make you our Lord on Monday through Saturday you are the King
of Kings you are the Lord of lords you are the ruler of rulers you are our
master and our king our judge our bridegroom but lord help us grab hold of
that bridegroom message how much you love us oh how you love us you love us
with all of your mind all of your heart all of your soul and all of your
strength you love us with every fiber of your being you're not willing to do
without us we ravish your heart just one look it melts your heart because that's
how much you love us and you are in the floodgates today just pouring out your
love pouring out yourself pouring out your virtue pouring out everything that
you are just like you did on the cross you continue to pour yourself out Father
forgive us for chasing so many other things chasing church growth and chasing
another meeting and chasing a bigger business and chasing all these things
when we should be chasing you seek you first the kingdom of God and His
righteousness and all of these other things will be added to you God we need
a greater level of intimacy with you or we're just not going to make it
god help us to shift our mindset now right now today you are in the
floodgates saying come learn of me come up higher
I want to reveal myself to you in a new way God let us not miss this moment of
visitation this moment of invitation this moment of revelation that we need
to make some adjustments if we want to see the greater works for the greater
good help us Lord to grab hold of the reality
of who you really are not just book knowledge but experientially tasting and
seeing how good you were so that we will be willing to follow you
anywhere and everywhere I just see by the Spirit of God some of you are in the
valley of decision right now there's so many huge decisions you have to make and
you don't have clarity let me just say to you beloved Jesus is your clarity if
you will get in his presence ask of him and then worship you will find that
peace you will find that inner witness about what you are to do but I'm here to
tell you by the Spirit of God that in the days and months and years ahead
there are going to be life and death decisions that come to our doorstep
how will we spend our time when I say life and death listen beloved it's not
so much about your life and your death because you are secure it's about the
life and death of other people and will we be willing to make time sacrifices to
make reputation sacrifices to make financial sacrifices to see somebody
else life saved gosh this missionary that was martyred
in India I just can't get off of it bowed and arrowed to death because he
loved not his life even unto death and I know this isn't a popular prayer call
you all so many of you like to hear about the blessings and the latest
revelation and get the prophetic word and there's nothing wrong with that I'm
not attacking you or putting you down for wanting that it's okay to want that
but we need to want more than that it's okay to want to hear the latest
revelation from Jennifer every morning and the the prayer that just gets our
day started and just causes us to blast off it encourages us and brings us
healing and deliverance that is all good but that's that's not all there is and
I've just been so moved and so shaken by this modern-day martyr and if you've
never read foxes Book of Martyrs dear Lord was one of the first books I read
when I got saved and it shaped my faith foxes Book of Martyrs it's blood curling
blood-curdling you know Jim Elliott even more you know not so many years ago and
now this young man would you be willing to lay your life down for real
you probably never will have to don't get scared and get off the broadcast you
probably won't ever have to in the sense of a Jim Elliott or one of the martyrs
in foxes Book of Martyrs are one of the 13 on the beach who were beheaded
wearing orange jumpsuits you'll probably never have to do that it's not about
whether you have to it's whether you're willing to I was sitting with a man in
the Bosque cuted the Philippines a leader a spiritual leader and he said
he's already decided he'll die for Christ he's not worried about that
that's that was he said I've decided that my heart a long time ago you may
never have to physically die for him but are you willing to die to your flesh so
that you can be a better witness to your family are you willing to die to your
flesh are you willing to to dig deep and deal with those hurts and wounds that
cause you to be less than everything you could be without condemnation about what
you're not right now father help us to grow up you do bless us you will bless
us you will heal us you will prophesy to us you will you'll do all these things
but lord help us just for this moment on day 30 the the number 30 representing
the year that you started your ministry the age at which you started your
ministry help us Lord to return to the roots of our faith and to remember what
we're really here for what you died for and what we should live for our time on
this earth is so limited but eternity is so longer we want to make the greatest
impact we can for you in the amount of time that we have left help us to
remember God help us to to make our churches so christ-centered that when
people walk in whether they're new in the faith or
have come yet into the faith that they would know that Jesus is in the room
help us Lord to stop performing in worship not just the worship leaders but
those who lift up their hands but they're thinking about their turkey in
the oven or how they can't pay that big bill instead of thinking about you the
one who can provide the turkeys and pay all the bills help us Lord to stop
performing and start pursuing your heart to stop performing for man and start
pursuing the one true Living God to stop pretending like we have it all together
when we're suffering when we're hurting when we're eating on the inside to be
willing to get in your presence and say Lord I am NOT going to let you go until
you bless me to grab ahold of the horns of the altar and say Lord I take
responsibility for where I am I know that my attitude stinks and I know that
I'm suffering in ways I don't understand and I don't know why
help us to be willing to set aside whatever time we need to set aside
despite whatever might not get done because you are faithful to complete the
good work you started in us but you need our cooperation so help us Lord to
cooperate with you if we've got wrong attitudes help us to get them right if
our financials are in a mess because we can't stop running those credit cards
through every machine at the mall forgive us lord help us get our heart
right our priority right because in the last of the last days all this junk that
we call church is going to fade away and
the real church is gonna rise up a church made of people like you and like
me you know someone confessed to me last week that the devil was telling them
that they could not so because it's Christmastime and they have to use that
money to pay bills I thought you know what that was a very brave I was pleased
not that the devil was telling this person that but that they would confess
that because the Bible says confess your faults one to another that you might be
healed we've got to put first things first that means the best part of our
day should go to the Lord not when we're worn-out we can't even absorb what we're
reading he's first he has your Bible says Jesus has the preeminence we should
give the firstfruits to the Lord not what's left over after all our bills are
paid he's either first or he's not he's either first place in our life or he's
not there's no well you know I'm gonna whatever excuse excuse excuse we can
make up so many excuses beloved I'm not trying to beat anybody down today I'm
trying to get you to rise up because there's so much more there's a joy that
you haven't tasted there's a peace that you have an experience there's a
prosperity yes in a realm of emotional healing that you've not yet walked into
because the world in the rat race called society continues to nip at our heels
and demand our attention and our God won't demand our attention because he's
a gentleman he's long-suffering and he grieves
he grieves over what grieves us so father thank you today that you helped
us to get our priorities in line in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus amen
and amen God is good you know every once in a
while we do one of these broadcasts where it gets real real I know many of
you don't like it but I have to be obedient to the Lord you do a prayer
broadcast like this one and and you see instead of a thousand people there's two
hundred because everybody drops off as soon as it starts key and this is this
the kind of message that we need but so that we can get all of the other things
that we want it's so ironic to me it's so ironic to me it's so sad to me it so
grieves me that if it's not a bless me only message half the audience drops out
and that is a great illustration of the state of the body of Christ
hmm Wow but God is still good and he's still going to get his way in the end so
father we agree with your leadership in Jesus name Amen and amen God is good
hallelujah listen if you want to sow a seed today if you've been not putting
God first in your finances if you've been one of those who has been
disobedient in the realm of sowing and giving because the devil has told you
you need that money for something else why don't you break the devil's back
today why don't you break that cycle why don't you decide you know what I'm not
letting the devil dictate how I'm gonna spend my money or where I'm gonna sew it
or if I'm gonna sell
if you want to be so today if you feel that I don't imagine anybody well
because nobody probably liked to hear that so she's some of your saying Amen
but she I don't do prayer calls and ministry for money I was making over a
quarter million dollars in the world well over a quarter million dollars
without having to travel without having to sit on planes for 30 hours without
having to be attacked by the body of Christ I was making a whole lot of money
and I laid that down to go into ministry because there's a greater good there's a
greater portion so I don't really care for my own self if you sow or not I
don't do what I do there goes the glory train I don't I
don't pray to please you I pray to please God and these broadcaster this is
more going on the fifth year but if you do want to pray if you do want to so
rather that I want to give you that opportunity
