Yama for me isn't just restraint

It is the Dharma-sutra of my being.

Non violence, integrity and truth are the basis of a good being is what I believe.

Niyama isn't just observance for me.

It is cleansing of my mind and body from the affects of intellect.

It is the way of uncovering my true intelligence

Tapas and Sadhana I believe is the true way.

Pranayama isn't just the disciplining of my breathe

It is the responsibility I take to each as every of my breathe.

I observe it, I feel it, I live it

Asana isn't just flexing and bending my body

It is feeling and strengthening each and every of my bones, muscles and ligaments

It is the withdrawal of lethargy, ego and anger from every portion of my body

Pratyahara isn't just the closing of all my senses

It is observing my every senses to show me life with the utter clarity and consciousness

Dhaarna isn't just concentration for me

It is to reaching an infinity possibility by focusing on just the present

Past and future seems to be an obliterated state

Dhyana isn't just meditation for me

It is to understand the meaning of my true self

It is the expression of my soul; it is my Turiya

Samadhi isn't integration for me

It is the final and only purpose of my soul

Karma, Dharma, kriya, mudra and all my deeds are just to be in the state at last

Yoga for me is the only thing I learnt

yoga for me is the only path I see to myself in the true light of clarity

consciousness and virtue

"The first challenge is the lack of data" - Valentina Rozo on the Venezuelan refugee crisis - Duration: 2:22.

My name is Valentina Rozo, I am Colombian, I live in Colombia, I work in a human rights organization

called "De Justicia" where we do strategic litigation, and

I am an economist who supports the litigation and all the investigations that are done within the organization.

We recently began to work on the issue of Venezuelan migration.

Colombia is a neighbour of Venezuela, so we are receiving a large number

of Venezuelan immigrants who do not have access to health, unless it is an emergency.

We received reports of two different people who needed access to

health services, but could not access them because it was not an emergency.

We submitted our research and the judge accepted many of the arguments we gave them.

It was a great success to know that these people were going to have access to

health services thanks to our arguments and our intervention.

The first challenge is the lack of data. Many times it is difficult to find the relevant information.

Sometimes official data are very different from unofficial data or civil society data.

When one manages to find the relevant information, it makes the work much easier, because showing a number is convincing and has a strong impact.

We can find the relevant numbers for Colombia and also

for the neighboring countries, which allows us to put more pressure on the government and show what

they are doing well, what they are doing wrong, and how they can improve it too.

It is important to find a database that is reliable for the country, but also

databases that can be used to compare with other countries,

and this is something that HRMI accomplishes in a very successful way.
