Waching daily Jan 1 2019

Hi everyone!

This is Kaukab Yaseen from Kdigits.

Friends, it's a beginner level video.

That is all about document setting in Illustrator.

In this video you will be able to know that how to create a new document in Illustrator.

Friends, this new document can be a single-page document or it can contain multiple pages,

as we're about to see.

So let's start.

First, go up to the File menu and choose the New command, which has a standard

keyboard shortcut of Control + N. As we click here we'll bring up the New Document

dialogue box.

First, we'll change the document name, as I paste here, you can give any name of your

choices, but meaningful name is always a good practice.

Friends, this could be just a temporary name because we can actually decide the document

file name when we save the file to the computer.

Next we have a Profile (document profile) where you can see a small triangular shape

at the other corner, that indicates additional available options.

Before discussing next option, I want to draw your attention that how options and their

values are interrelated here.

Like, when we already have Print selected in the profile section, then you can see Letter

in the Size tab and here we have some additional presets of standard paper sizes.

Also, we have a Points by default selected in the Units tab.

Now we'll select another profile like: I select Web.

So we'll find some other presets related to the web within the Size option, and now you

can see Pixels within the Units.

Like that, if we select any other profile like Devices, then you can see here some devices

related prestes.

So for the sake of this demonstration, I switch back to the print.

Now we have Number of Artboards, in other words Number of Pages.

As I already told you in the beginning of this video that this document could be a multiple-

pages document.

So here I'm going to create a 4 pages document, as I mentioned here.

Also you can mention here how you want to get arranged your artboards, number of columns,

and what would be the distance between two artboards.

Friends, If you want to see that how can we work with more than one artboards than you

can take help with my business card design videos, in which I work on two separate artboards

for the front and back sides of the card within the same document.

You can see the video's link on the screen, link is also available under this video's

description.

Okay, so let's move forward.

We have already taken a look at size tab.

So let's discuss units, here a triangular shape again indicates availability of additional

options, as you can see here.

Friends we'll discuss all these units in our upcoming videos, but for now I'm going to

select inches.

As you already know that here we have different presets, but we can give custom values for

the width and height.

So I'll select the Width value, and change it to 4, and then I'll tab to the Height value,

and change it to 6 inches.

Now that ends up giving me a vertical orientation, as indicated by this highlighted icon.

Now if I select this horizontal orientation, then you can see Illustrator automatically

swaps the Width and Height values.

Here, I would like to tell you that each and every artboard inside your document can be

a different size and orientation.

Okay, here I switch back to the vertical orientation and let's talk about Bleed.

Basically, bleed is some area where you can extend your design beyond the edges of an

original document.

It's useful in commercial designing for borderless printing.

And so what I'm going to do is click one of the up arrow icons associated with Top, Bottom,

Left or Right, and because the link icon is turned on, all the values are changing in

kind.

And I'm going to click one of these up arrows a second time to tell the Illustrator that

I required.25 inches for the bleed.

Now we're going to ok our setting, and you can see that we have a new document containing

4 artboards.

Here you can see the given name of our document.

This red line represents the bleed, and the black outline indicates the selected artboard.

If I click this second artboard then you can notice it's outline that turned black and

indicates currently selected artboard.

You can also navigate these artboards from the bottom area.

So that's it for now.

Feel free to ask if you want to ask anything, you can write me in the comment section of

this video and also contact me with the provided links under the video's description.

So, we'll meet in our next session, till then Take care!

Achieve your goals for 2019 - Duration: 4:18.

A good friend of mine recently facilitated a meetup group. The topic of

the group was expressing gratitude for the past 12 months, and I love groups

like this. I love groups that help us focus on the positive things in life,

because there's so many negative things that hit us front back sideways center

that it's easy to lose focus of the positive things that also happen in our

life. You know, I've talked a lot about maintaining gratitude journals over the

year in various videos. It's a non-negotiable for me. For many of my

clients, it's a non-negotiable. They see the importance of it, but I don't really

talk about goals much. And there was a question that came out of the meetup

event that I thought was really good, and it was a question, "what do you want to be

grateful for twelve months from now?" And, it was like a little way of setting a

goal. And I just, I think that goals are great to have. I mean you

might have a goal of getting a new job next year or finding a job next year if

you're unemployed. Maybe making a $100,000.00 more. $200,000.00 more. Whatever that number might be. Maybe it's getting a

promotion. Maybe it's not even career related. Maybe it's finding a life

partner. I know a couple of individuals that were in this meetup event, that was

a goal of theirs. And I think goals are great. But here's the thing, when it comes

to goals, and this is my belief. Set the goal and then throw it out the

window. Because, I don't believe looking at the goal day in and day out is going

to help you attain it any more than just wishing it's going to occur. And I

apologize in advance to any fans out there of "The Secret" but I truly believe

that for a goal to happen, you have to have a process in place. And that's what

you need to write. So is it a promotion that you want to get? Well what is it

that you're gonna need to do in the next nine months? What is it that you're going

to need to do in the next six months? What is it that you're going to need to

do in the next three months? How about within the next month?

Wow about within the next week? This is what I mean by writing the processes out.

And I believe this is what's most important. You know, one of the things

that I use is a daily planner. I use something called passion planner. I'm not

meaning to promote this. I'm not affiliated with it in anyway, but I'll leave

a link to it in the notes section below. Find something where you can list

your tasks for the next week, for the next month, for the next three months, for

whatever that goal is. Because it's a great feeling to be able to cross off

each one of those tasks. You know, I'll share something with you: This time last year, I

was at about 2000 views on YouTube, and I set a goal to reach 50,000 views by the

end of the year. Right now, its second week of December as I'm recording this

and I'm just shy of 50,000 views by probably about 1300. How did I do this?

One of the things one of those goals was I wrote out on a process weekly of what

videos that I wanted to do. And every time I created that, or finished that

video, I crossed that off. And it was a good feeling for me. But I really wasn't

following that goal of 50,000 views. I was doing the process. So, you want to get

a promotion, what is it that it's gonna take? If you want to get a new job next

year, what is it that you're going to have to do? Figure this out. Write out

these processes. List them down by the month, by the quarter, by every six months,

by the week, and stay true to those. Okay? The process. I guess before I go, I

should introduce myself. My name is Bill Benoist I'm a certified

professional career coach here in Silicon Valley. I upload new career tips

and strategies just like the one you watched every Tuesday, so if this video

resonated with you, make sure that you subscribe to the channel. That way you

Setting Career Goals for 2019 - Duration: 7:54.

Hi! I'm Jen. Welcome back! What are your career goals? Do you want to make more

money? Or maybe you want to get a promotion or find a less stressful job?

Whatever your goals are, or if you're not sure what they should be, in this video

I'll teach you how to make smart, achievable goals so you can succeed in

2019. If you want more career advice, I post new videos weekly to this channel.

So subscribe and turn on notifications so you're the first to know. Let's look

at some smart career goals that I think would benefit anyone to set right now.

First, think about what are your three to five-year goals? In three to five years

do you want to be in the same position? If you do, that might involve developing

your technical skills and progressing down a technical path. If you want a

promotion, think about, "Okay, I want to be in a higher level position." If you want

to make more money, if you want to have a less stressful job - think about those

longer-term goals. And even if you don't set a SMART goal around it, that doesn't

mean we can't set some targets to happen for the next year. With those three to

five-year goals in mind, let's look at four different specific goals that I

think are very applicable for any career today.

The first goal - build technology skills. No matter what job you're in, whether

you're an analyst, a manager, technology skills are definitely going to just

continue to become more in demand. So whether this is learning programming or

learning a software or just becoming more familiar with general technology

that's available, set some sort of career goal around this. And again, tailor it to

your area of expertise. If you're an analyst,

maybe it's learning a new programming language. Even if you're a manager, it could

be learning a little bit of programming. It could just be learning about how some

of these different programs work. Or learning how to use technology to look

at good metrics and to get your metrics to tell you something. Even if you're in

an administrative role, getting to know these different technologies, getting to know

different software, that can really help you progress in your career. Because

let's face it - everything is just getting more technologically based and those are

in-demand skills that anybody can benefit from building this year.

Alright, my second, and this is, I would say, a timeless career goal and it's one I've

certainly focused on in my career and even today - build communication skills.

You can be amazing at your job. You can be amazing technically. And if you can't

communicate, you're going to have a lot of trouble growing in your career, at least

at any sort of quick pace. We need to be able to communicate with each other

and the nice bonus with this skill is that it's going to benefit you in every

area of your life. If you can communicate better at work, then you can

communicate better with your spouse, with your friends, with your kids, with your

family. Communication skills are something we constantly need to work on.

This is: how do you interact with people? How do you engage them? How do you make

people feel heard and listened to? How do you frame how you talk to people in a

way that is going to make them more receptive to what you say and to

understand you better when you're talking about different things? Work

on those communication skills. I don't think there's ever a person that has

advanced too far in their communication skills that they can't benefit from this.

And if you think you're that person, try to get a little honest feedback from

those around you because I would be really shocked if that's the case. My

third skill that could be a perfect career goal for anyone is build your

network. A lot of people think about their network when they need it and they

don't think about it if they don't need to rely on it. People will think about

their network when it's time to get a new job and they want someone to act as

a reference or to help them find a role or get them a foot in the door, but the

time to build your network isn't when you need to rely on it. It's all of the

other time when you don't have a need to pull from that network. If you're

cultivating that network and giving into that network, benefiting people

around you, then they're going to be a lot more receptive when you need help

from them in your career search or in developing your career. Work on

building your network all the time. This could be as small as spending a few

more minutes once a week talking to someone else in another department that

you don't normally interact with. Or this could be getting more involved in

LinkedIn or local networking meetings or some other online forum. Building up that

network is going to be really valuable and that'll serve you throughout your

career. It's also a great way to find out about job openings. Even sometimes if

you're not looking, you can find out about things that are out there. So

definitely build that network whenever you have the opportunity. My fourth goal

that I think anyone can accomplish this year and will add value to them is: get a

certification. This could be in an area related to one of the other three things

I just talked about. This could be some sort of programming certification or

certification related to a specific software or it could be management

training. Certifications are good to have on your resume. I don't think that the

certifications always make a difference in whether someone is better at the job

than someone else, but the reality is that when you're putting your resume out

there to apply for jobs, that the certification makes a difference. It

looks good on your resume and adds value. And hopefully when you're doing it,

you're getting value out of it too. I don't think that you should just do it

for your resume. I think it's going to help you in other areas, but definitely

take time to do it build your resume when you're not applying for jobs. You

can do...you can get certifications while you're in the middle of applying for

a new role. There's nothing stopping you from that. But sort of like with the

networking, the best time to do it is when you don't really need it or where

it's not an immediate pressing thing that you want to utilize. It's constantly

cultivating that so it's there when you need it. Those are my four areas of

goals that I think are critical for the next year that can benefit anyone's

career. I didn't put any of those in smart terms so put those in that

Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound terms. Pick one of those

or pick something else. I'm curious what kind of goals you decide to set for the

next year or the next three years or the next month or week. Let me know in the

comments. I'd really like to hear what you're working on to build your career

and hear more about your career goals. Is your goal for this year to get a new job?

Is your resume saying everything that you want it to say? If you're not sure if

your resume is the perfect resume to land you a new job this year, check out links

below. I'll help you get it tailored so that it really sets you apart from other

candidates. And if you feel like your resume is okay, but you want other tips, I

put together my five top keys to landing a new job. It'll give you everything you

need to know to make sure your job search is a huge success. Thanks so much

s2e0 Recap of 2018 and Outlook for 2019 - Duration: 6:52.

Alright, welcome to this episode! I'm Bill Snodgrass, and in this episode we're

gonna do a really quick, short, New Year's Day episode. This will come out on New

Year's Day. First of all I want to thank everybody who has supported this channel

throughout the year a lot of really cool things have happened let's talk about

some things that went up this year views I hit about 10,000 views somewhere in

December of 2017 I'm gonna have 52,000 views now and not all of those views

were boom boom pow so there is a lot of you watching a lot of these videos what

else is up subscribers I was around 100 in January of last year 523 as of the

time record in this video there's a lot of people who have come on board to

support this channel I am really really appreciate that

watch time is up on the channel very very cool another couple of new things

that are new I've got my social media stuff kind of integrated now I'm kind of

having a kind of found a stride that I feel like I'm doing good with Twitter

and Instagram and Facebook and YouTube making them all work together also snap

snapchat for those of you who are snappers and chatters I'm sure that

sounded very stupid so I got that one all this social media stuff all these

things going up things things that are going down things that are going down

these are things to celebrate things that are going down to celebrate going

down if you've been around the channel for a while you may remember this

version of me and not so much anymore literally not so much I have dropped

about 40 pounds since I had that surgery thing and kind of got you know lost a

few pounds in the hospital just kept it going as of today and it's been about

long in about a month I've been around the 180 mark I was like 178 today so

that's that's still 180 if you ask me but that is down 40 pounds is down the

number of bulges where my intestines are pushing through my stomach wall down by

about 7 or 8 there's a the closure eyes if you're squeamish here's a here's a

picture of what that used to what that what that look like that was a awesome

awesome process so now like I can you know I don't I can't I was telling

somebody yesterday I was like I used to be able to like push on my my hernias I

could fill them back of my throat not so much anymore all of that is fixed

and those are those are some things to celebrate as I'm going into the new year

what can you look forward to if you stick around this channel more life

lessons inspirational motivational videos more tutorials on photography

videography and those sorts of things so also probably got some science videos

I'm gonna have to put out as we get into we're gonna do a unit on we've got some

science videos you don't care what unit I'm getting ready to teach but if you

did moving on I have started I've started the podcast process I'm calling

it snap live snap life podcast by Bill on grass that's going to be kind of the

the podcast title so you can look for that I've it's on Spotify already it's

on this other place I'll put links all this down in the description what else

more to come from gnarly Charley and Jacinda more also to come from Hammond's

and are late that's going to be more of those kinds of things because first of

all it's a good way for me to share into the lives of young people and mentor

them along until they're ready to stand on their own they get their own camera

and that sort of stuff so help them help them find their way of being young

creators it's kind of cool plus they're actually very very fun to be around and

very entertaining and so you'll see more of that also I got to do a shot out to a

student I promised that I would I would shout around he started a channel he's

doing streaming game videos his channel name is Nathan so you probably guess

what his first name is you can go there hit his channel up check him out if

you're into gaming he does live game streams and

yeah it seems like from what I know about him he's a decent person these

human being a gentleman who treats people with dignity and respect and

that's a lot in the world did I appreciate that so there there is going

to be another spoken word cover I've reconciled myself to the fact that that

the the the influential people the voices did talk to me about this one as

a student as a senior and very knowledgeable very smart very in his

young way well very wise and the others might my son Nathan both of them were

like you know dad that was that's not the guy from school didn't call me Dad

my son Nathan my son Nathan called me dad which is very appropriate the guy at

school just called me mr. Snodgrass what was I saying

fucking work so Nathan my son was like that's that's a cool thing if you do it

if you time it right and you don't overdo it it's pretty funny and it's

it's kind of kind of interesting so based on their current I'll do another

one of those and I think that's pretty much the plans that I have made I'm

coming up with an outro that I'll probably use periodically or maybe all

the time and it'll start in this episode I've got a lot outro that's basically me

sitting in this chair wearing this shirt wearing this and I'm just asking

everybody do that subscribe thing alright I believe that's all I have for

this New Year's Day episode I wanted to keep it short kind of get to the point

and get out and then hopefully I have done that so if I'm gonna have this

outro pre-recorded I don't know how to end these clips

thank you for watching this video I hope you enjoyed it if you did please click

the like button subscribe to the channel sign up for notifications leave me a

comment question or suggestion and share this video with someone else who also

may enjoy it also be sure to connect with me on other social media all those

the of the sales you can support this channel directly through PayPal or

patreon links to all that are down in the description again thank you for

Digital Marketing Trends For 2019 (5 Trends To Implement in 2019) - Duration: 9:44.

Brandi: 00:00 Do you have an online business and are you ready to grow your email list,

your sales and your client roster in 2019 if that's you, stick around because I'm going

to share the five digital marketing trends for 2019 that you should be using in order

to grow, grow, and grow Brandi: 00:26 for the best

Brandi: 00:27 digital marketing and online business advice.

Go on and subscribe below.

Hit the bell and you'll be notified every Tuesday and Thursday when I bring you a new,

a brand new episode of the Brandi and Co Show.

If you're ready to take your digital marketing strategies to the next level in 2019, these

are the five trends you're going to want to focus on to take it up a notch.

By the end of this video, you are going to know what strategies to implement in your

online business and I know they're going to work because I've been using them with my

clients and they are killing it.

Brandi: 01:10 Okay, so digital marketing trend one, this is video is king.

Video is everything.

Clearly we're on video right now, but every social media platform, once video, people

want video.

You have youtube, you have facebook lives, you have instagram lives, you have instagram

stories, you have IGTV, twitter is preferring video.

The facebook algorithm prefers video.

Even pinterest is now going to video, so what does that mean for you?

You need video and so there's a ton of ways that you can repurpose your video and use

them across the platforms, but the important thing is you have video.

It doesn't matter if it's done from your iphone or it's super professionally done.

Actually on facebook.

We're seeing better results with people just doing video on their iphone and then using

that as a facebook ad or doing lives and everyone loves how personable instagram lives are,

so don't think you have to have anything fancy.

The important thing is you have video Brandi: 02:22 trend two trend two is all about

you.

It's about being personal.

You need to personalize, personalize, personalize.

That not only means like personalizing each email that goes out with their name, but also

what does that person in light.

So if you have an email list and they're purchasing baby shower things, you don't want to send

them an email about wedding, chances are they've already done that and so you need to personalize

your emails.

You need to personalize your brand and you need to put a face to that brand.

And so some easy ways you can do this is get on IGTV and put your face out there or on

instagram.

If someone had you as a follower, make sure to send them a personalized message back.

I know that may be hard, but if you have a lot of people following you every day, but

believe me, it goes a long, long way.

So in 2019, if you want to grow a true following of loyal customers and a tribe, you need to

be personalizing topics specifically for them.

And you need to be you Brandi: 03:37 Trend 3.

Okay This one is chat bots.

Chat bots are taking over and they've been taking over in a very short time.

So in 2019 you're going to want to tap into chatbots in some way.

And so right now if you've interacted with a chatbot before, go on or a messenger Bot,

they're the same thing go on and put it in the comments chatbot so I can see and we can

all see who's actually interacted with them already.

And so some people are so scared of chatbots because they don't think they're very personalized.

But that's the thing.

They can be very, very personalized.

One of my favorite chatbots is Amy Porterfield's.

Hers makes me feel like it's hard talking to me.

So if you need a good example of a chatbot going and check hers out.

But also chatbots are opened more than email.

So I was just reading a stat that said that chat bots have about an 80 percent open rate

where emails like a good one's 30 percent open rate.

So get on chat bots because it's instant.

You don't have much competition right now.

And I have a feeling that the competition is going go up in 2019.

So jump on it early because there's way less competition with chatbots than there is in

someone's inbox and personalize it.

It doesn't want to sound like a robot and it doesn't have to

Brandi: 05:09 trend four, okay, you may not like me very much for this one, but it's going

to be a pay to play year and so is going to be harder and harder to organically grow your

traffic without some type of paid marketing and so that's facebook, instagram, promoted

pins and so that's pinterest advertising and so you're going to have to probably pay to

play if you want to grow at a higher speed because it is going to get much, much harder

to grow organically on social media this year, and I think we've all been seeing that previous

years and so it's only going get harder and Pinterest is lining up to go public early

2019.

So they're really focusing on promoted and my clients have been getting some amazing

results.

Now all these platforms are not where you should be running them all for everyone.

So where are your clients hanging out?

Brandi: 06:07 Are they on facebook?

Are they on instagram?

Are they on pinterest?

You don't need to necessarily be running ads on all of them, but you do need to be running

ads where your clients are and so one of my clients is having great results with promoted

pins and she's in the food niche and then one of my clients is a local business owner.

He's having amazing results with facebook ads, so knowing where your clients are and

that's where you're promoting and so they can be super, super overwhelming all ads,

so if it's not your thing, hired out, take a course, learn a little bit, but don't think

you have to do it yourself.

There's so many people out there to help you with advertising to keep the costs down.

Also, I've created a facebook ad swipe file guide for creative, so if you need help stopping

that, scroll with your graphics for Facebook ads in the description I have linked it, and

so you can go on and grab that free guide.

There's 28 high converting ads that will stop the scroll every time so you can use those

for inspiration, but you are going to have to pay to play if you want to grow really

fast in 2019.

Brandi: 07:25 Okay.

Trend Five.

Trend five is social listening.

This is going to be so crucial in 2019 when you're deciding what products you are going

to sell, what courses you're going to create, or just what value you're going to add to

your niche, and so it's super important to make sure that you are reading comments that

people leave on social media.

You're going to groups where your clients are or your tribe and reading, what feedback

they're giving and so spending each week time doing this is going to give you more concrete

answers on what people want.

Now, that way you're not wasting time creating content that no one's looking for, but you're

creating content that matters.

That's going convert, and so more and more people are expressing what they want on social

media and they're going to social media to find it.

And so it is so important that you were reading comments that you are paying attention to

what people are looking for so you don't waste your time and you're delivering quality content

that people want.

Brandi: 08:39 So that's your trend.

Five for 2019.

Okay, so now you know the five digital marketing trends for 2019 for your online business.

Now it's time to start implementing them.

Like I said, go on and download my facebook ads swipe files for creatives.

The link is in the description so that will help you get started on your facebook ads.

They can also be used for instagram ads.

And then I want you to leave in the comment which trend you're going to implement first

because remember, you don't have to implement them all but you do want to implement some

I EXTENDED MY BALI VISA FOR 2 MORE MONTHS | THE BALI VLOG#030 - Duration: 2:55.

I just realized I didn't really vlog today I'm still in Singapore and I have

this view actually at the airport right now but the flight seems to be delayed

because there's some stormy weather outside so flying back and then just

have a couple of things I gotta do and then tomorrow morning I gotta wake up

early in the morning again because then I'm going to the island which I still

don't know the name of but yeah we kind of just relaxed today went grab coffee

went grab lunch and met a person which was super interesting and now with

chillin at the airport for like two hours

hi what's up yeah I'm naked right now but I just came back from getting the

visa I got my visa I actually now got the right visa so I could stay for two

months and not just one month I'm sorry I just realized that I actually didn't

vlog much in Singapore which I wanted to because like I realized that this was

pretty much the first time that I like wasn't like working working and had some

time to do some other stuff and so I was like I gotta enjoy this and you know do

my thing and not constantly be thinking about you know vlogging but then again I

was like but that's unfair because for you is it the same thing like you've

only seen me working and now the first time I actually do something differently

and actually do something that might be exciting I don't flog it which is

selfish and so I will not do that anymore

okay but yeah there are only a couple Clips so the whole purpose of this trip

was to to renew my visa because you only can do that for month and then you have

to leave the country come back again up border so that's what we did I got a new

visa now I can stay for one more month plus now because I got the right thing I

can renew without having to hop pores for another

month so I can say two months and I stated a fucking spaceship that was

fucking dope and now tomorrow morning I am taking a ferry to another Island the

neighbor island and that's what I'm gonna spend New Year's with a couple

people from the house but I'm super anxiety exhausted I gotta edit the vlog

now and then I'm gonna go to bed peace I do wake up when there's no other

time to wake you up seething breathing doing all the things

I love wine coalition I just wanna make a trip to the child
