Hello everyone, Derek Johnson with tatango.com.

Today I'm gonna be showing you an Apple business chat demo from TD Ameritrade where I'm actually

going to look up a stock quote in messaging.

So this is only available in iOS 11.3 which was just recently launched by Apple.

So what I've done is I've installed 11.3 onto this phone and I'm mirroring it onto my screen

here.

So first thing I'm gonna do is I'm going to search for a TD Ameritrade.

Now you can do this via their website, Google Maps.

There's a bunch of different ways you can get to business chat.

I like it this way.

So I'm gonna select business and as you can see here, there's actually two icons now.

Before 11.3, there was only one icon, the phone icon.

Now there's two, there's a little chat.

I'm gonna click the little chat button.

And usually what would happen is I would start chatting out and say, "Hey, I need help."

And then a live operator would help me.

I'm gonna skip that.

I'm just gonna select main menu here because I know, kind of, how this works.

What's really interesting to note is as you can see on the screen a lot of branding opportunities

for TD Ameritrade.

So they have, you know, the logo, they have a little-verified link to make sure it is,

you know, you're trading with who you say you're trading with.

You can even click info there and you can see, you know, their website, their phone

number, their, you know, hours of operation.

So a lot of really cool information that I think helps a consumer.

So then I'm gonna select main menu and, again, this is all done within the app.

And it's not even a new app, this is just the mobile messaging app that you text your

friends and family on.

So I'm gonna go down here and you have a bunch of different options as you can see, learn

about investing, opening an account, you can even go down the bottom and chat with a live

sales agent or agent, I guess.

So I'm gonna select "Get a quote" and I'm going to get a quote for Microsoft, MSFT.

And you could see it's pretty snappy, it's kinda like texting a friend that's really

fast at texting.

So there it is, you know, there's my quote.

I got a quote, here's the quote from Microsoft, and then there's an image so that I can see

exactly what's going on with Microsoft.

Looks like it's up today.

Then what's really cool is at the very bottom you can see here, there's actually another

link which is a quote menu.

So I can trade Microsoft, I can see events for Microsoft, I can go back to the main menu

or I can even chat with a live agent.

I'm gonna see events.

So recent and upcoming events, I like the icons to it.

It makes it kind of pop and easy to understand.

Okay, and as you see here it's, kind of, going through a lot of events here.

So essentially, it sent me all of the events I think made for today, and each one is its

own image.

So I can go through each one and I can say, you know, Microsoft stock price crosses above

50-day moving average, you know, and then just a bunch of different events that are

happening today.

What's cool too is they're using a little, kind of, like, AI bot at the bottom here.

Want to add upcoming events to your calendar?

No, I'm good.

I'm gonna select "No".

And then it brings me back to the options for the quote menu, not the main menu.

But I could go quote menu and I could go main menu.

Let's say I wanted to search another stock.

Another Seattle company, I'm gonna go get a quote.

You can see how fast this is, you know, working.

This is pretty cool, no need to download their app anymore.

I'm already in the mobile messaging app pretty much 24 hours a day chatting with friends

and family.

So this just is like chatting with a friend, essentially you can chat with, you know, TD

Ameritrade.

And once I have the chat open and I found it and I start chatting, I can leave, you

know, that chat open in my messages.

So it could be, you know, my friends, my family, and then it could be TD Ameritrade and I can

just click on TD Ameritrade at any time and just start a chat with them.

So enter a symbol.

I'm gonna look up Starbucks, another local Seattle company here.

And you can see it's pretty snappy, like, you know, I don't really need to go to the

web anymore, the mobile web, because this answers my question.

I need to know how much, you know, Starbucks is worth right now, 58 bucks, you know it's

up.

Pretty amazing quote menu, if I wanted to trade Starbucks I could click that.

You know, click events for Starbucks.

You can see this is pretty cool how I can just do all these right within the messaging

app.

It's not taking me, you know, it's not sending me a link and then, you know, I have to click

on the link and go to a mobile website or open an app.

This is answering all my questions, you know, right within mobile messaging.

So really cool use of Apple business chat from TD Ameritrade.

Again, like I showed you before, there's a ton of different options.

This one is how to look up a stock quote via Apple business chat on iOS 11.3 using the

TD Ameritrade business chat.

Chelsea tranfer news: Chelsea plan bid for Marko Arnautovic as alternative to Gonzalo Higuain - Duration: 2:18.

Chelsea are planning to launch a bid for West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic in the January transfer window, according to reports

Maurizio Sarri is desperate to bolster his attacking options this month and is keen for the club to land Gonzalo Higuain

The Argentine is currently on loan at AC Milan from Juventus and Chelsea have been exploring potential ways to sign the striker on a temporary basis from the Serie A champions

But a deal appears to be complicated and according to reports in Italy, AC Milan have little interest in signing Alvaro Morata from Chelsea as a replacement for Higuain, even on loan

Chelsea, therefore, are exploring alternatives to the 31-year-old and according to Bleacher Report, Arnautovic is on their radar and a move is planned this month.

But West Ham are adamant that they will not allow any of their attackers to leave, with Javier Hernandez also wanted by Valencia

Arnautovic, who was reportedly valued at around £50 million in the summer, missed four games in December due to a hamstring injury

The Austria international has scored five goals in 14 Premier League appearances this season.

Hmm, that is a very interesting question.

I could spend lot of hours describing it,

but, I think it's better that I show you like this.

Let me show you some ways and

They're quite a few women working in the space program.

and we're shooting a human into space

and it's never been done before.

Katherine is the gal for that.

She can handle any numbers you put in front of her.

What do you gals do for NASA?

If you were a white male,

would you wish to be an engineer?

I wouldn't have to.

I'd already be one.

There is no protocol for women attending.

There's no protocol for a man

circling the earth either sir.

Every time we have a chance to get ahead,

they move the finish line.

We all get there together or we don't get there at all.

My gals are ready.

We can do the work.

Whew!

These are some ways, and just a few ones

that I wanted to share with you.

What I wanted also to share with you

is that my first internship, when I finished my studies

was given to me by a woman at Airbus, who trusted me.

Here we are, 2018.

11 years has passed since that event.

And on the past decade, I had the opportunity

to work with lot of women at Airbus.

They were always caring, sharing, protecting me.

Giving me good advice.

They were always here for me.

And as of today, I have a manager who is a woman.

She's very skilled, she's very motivated,

and she's really inspiring me.

Just one final note, I am from Dakar, Senegal, West Africa.

And if you look at African women,

they are strong women.

They are powerful women.

They are women who sacrifice themselves for their children,

for their husbands, for their friends and family.

I have no doubt that the future of Airbus

relies on women.

Thank you to all the women out there,

taking care of us at work, at home,

when we are sick, when we are demotivated,

when all things fall apart around us, you are here.

You are all foundations, you are our future,

and you will always be!

Manchester 'terror' stabbings happened after ISIS called for lone wolf attacks - News Live - Duration: 3:32.

The Manchester Victoria 'terror' attack happened just hours after ISIS called for lone wolf terror across the world.

As revellers prepared to ring in the New Year last night, horror unfolded at the train station when British Transport Police were called at 8:52pm to reports of a man with a knife.

Two members of the public and a police officer were stabbed during the attack in front of horrified witnesses.

Police confirmed they are treating it as a terror-related incident and have been searching an address in Cheetham Hill, Manchester, where the 25-year-old suspect is believed to have most recently been living.

Just hours before the stabbings, it was revealed ISIS fanatics had flooded the internet with material urging so-called 'lone wolf' attacks.

One poster threatened a New Year's Day attack in New York while another clearly urges attacks in London - with a poster showing Big Ben in the background.

The London illustrated poster reads "welcome to bloody years" while an image showing the New York skyline and an ISIS soldier reads: "New York 1/1/2019" and a fire can be seen burning through the city.

"And hit them with the explosive belts and vehicle bomb, and shock them with adhesive explosives and packages, and harvest them with silencers and snipers, horrify and terrify the with the intrusions."

There is no confirmed ISIS link and police tasered and pepper-sprayed the suspect at the scene before being arresting him "within minutes".

He was seen on a Snapchat video shouting "Allahu Akbar" - meaning "God is the greatest" - as he was bundled into a police van.

A witness said the suspect also shouted about "bombings in other countries" and "Allah" during the incident.

Five officers were seen pinning him to the ground and the suspect was today being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder.

The unnamed man and woman who were injured were members of the public in their 50s.

The woman has injuries to her face and abdomen and the man has injuries to his abdomen.

An eyewitness said but both were conscious after the attack and were walked to a waiting ambulance.

Their injuries have been described as "serious" but not life-threatening. They were both kept in Manchester Royal Infirmary overnight.

The other victim was a BTP police sergeant in his 30s who suffered a knife wound to the shoulder.

Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said in a latest update: "We are treating this as a terrorist investigation which is being led by counter terrorism officers with support from Greater Manchester Police. They were working throughout the night to piece together the details of what happened and to identify the man who was arrested.

"This detailed work will continue and we are currently searching an address in the Cheetham Hill area of Manchester which is believed to be where the man had most recently been living. Our work will continue to ensure we get to the full facts of what happened and why it took place."
