Bonnie Langford bid farewell to EastEnders tonight after Carmel Kazemi went to extreme lengths to ensure that Keegan Taylor learnt his lesson
Last week the grieving mum made Keegan think that he had killed someone after bringing a knife out to the streets
Keegan, who is still struggling to come to terms with his friend Shakil's death, was overcome with guilt as he told his mum what he had done
As a horrified Karen shouted after him, Keegan went to the police station to hand himself in
But after a bizarre interrogation by a police officer, he was blasted for wasting police time as no one had been murdered in Walford that day
After making his way back to the Square, he lashed out at Carmel - who stood her ground
"You went to knife him - you wanted to kill him," she snarled back at him. "I wanted you to know how that feels, I wanted you to suffer
" Keegan ran back home and let out his anger at his brother and mum by pulling out a knife
But after being forced to put it down, mum Karen punched him and told him to talk to Carmel
Just as Carmel was about to leave in the taxi to head to the airport to Dubai, she stopped the cab to speak to Keegan once more
After their heart-to-heart, she finally left Walford. Could she return? *EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7
