 Chelsea fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration after Morata nearly claimed his hat-trick

 One said: "That was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen just slot it! "He would score way more if he wasn't over elaborate

Wish he got three." Another added: "Morata trying pull off a Messi but ended up doing a Lukaku

" A third said: "Why going for the dink? Should have rounded the keeper." "The worst one-on-one finisher in our history," another said

 Maurizio Sarri said after the match that Morata has improved in confidence and from a technical point of view, so he can now play more as part of the team

 He also labelled Morata "a little bit fragile" but claimed he can still improve on this quality

 The Italian equalled a Premier League record of eleven games unbeaten at the start of a season for a new manager

LIVE UDPATES: Shalane Flanagan & Desiree Linden Race for New York Marathon 2018 Title | Heavy.com

Last year, Shalane Flanagan became the first American woman to win the New York Marathon, finishing with a time of 2:26:53.

Though many thought she would retire with that huge accomplishment under her belt, she is back to defend her title.

In Boston this year, Desiree Linden was the first American woman to win the women's division of the marathon since 1985, finishing with a time of 2:39:54 seconds.

Though that time was 13 minutes under Flanagan's New York win time (and 18 minutes slower than the Boston win the previous year), NPR credited it to poor race conditions and not Linden's ability.

Flanagan also competed in the 2018 Boston Marathon, finishing 6:37 behind Linden.

Desiree Linden of the United States crosses the finish line as the winner of the 2018 and 122nd Boston Marathon.

Clearly in the birthday spirit, she also wore a small blue and gold-trimmed party hat around her head

 Hadid, 22, wore a black top and houndstooth pants alongside an equally festive red party hat

 Giving her followers a behind-the-scenes look at the celebration, Hadid also shared a video of the birthday girl singing along to the classic Shania Twain song "Still the One

"  Jenner went on to post a video of all of her pal, rapper Tyler the Creator, acting silly while singing along at the bash

 "Lmao I love my friends," she wrote alongside the clip.  Earlier in the evening, Jenner's pals appeared to throw her a low-key house party filled with animal toys and even a "homemade" cake

 In one image, shared by pal Justine Skye, 23, Jenner was seen holding what appeared to be an inflatable dog while wearing a black and pink feather boa around her neck

In the photo, Jenner was flanked by pals wearing silly costumes — one friend dressed like a bunch of purple grapes, while another wore a 3D costume that made it appear like they were sitting in a bathtub

 "Happy birthday bitch," Skye wrote alongside the photo, appearing to reference a cake she gave the woman of the hour earlier, which was decorated with the same cheeky message

 Earlier in the day, Jenner also showed off some of the beautiful flower arrangements that had been sent to her in honor of her big day — including a gorgeous box of pink and white roses that spelled out "KJ23

Maurizio Sarri happy for Morata, says Chelsea defense must improve tactical and technical point - Duration: 2:43.

Even acknowledging the world of regurgitated coach speak, it's interesting to note that Maurizio Sarri struck a similar tone to Pep Guardiola after both men's Premier League powers posted comfortable wins on Sunday

Neither manager was upset by their teams' performances — City beat Saints 6-1 while Chelsea topped Palace 3-1 — but both saw flaws in their opportunities they allowed to their bottom half competition

Here's Sarri, via the BBC:."We need to improve from a tactical point of view. In the first 15 minutes of the second half we were not compact

In the defensive phase we need to improve. When we can't cover the ball in the opponent's half we are in trouble

So we need to improve.".Sarri was happy with his Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, who would've notched a hat trick had he done anything but chip his stoppage time breakaway effort within reach of Palace backstop Wayne Hennessey

The manager admits that Morata's mind has been a problem, but he has little doubt about the striker's skill set

"I am really very happy for Alvaro," he said. "He improved in the last month in confidence and personality

He improved also from a tactical and technical point of view. He plays with more continuity from the team

He has great potential physically and technically. He can improve more. Potentially he can be (a top striker at a top club)

Sometimes he is a little bit fragile."
