Waching daily Nov 2 2018

The main idea behind the Atreyu's Horse side project

was that I wanted to free myself from the constraints of

song structures and tempo and other traditional elements of music.

The main inspiration came from the the world of lo-fi, modular, ambient, and noise.

I discovered a few artists one or two years ago

who moved my imagination and that changed my perspective on music.

At the moment I'm more interested in what kind of textures and what kind of layers

a music has rather than what rhythms or melodies are used

and this is what I wanted to explore with this project.

I have thought a lot about how we could structure music without noting it down

or learning it so that we have freedom meanwhile still following somekind of structure.

While I was thinking about this I looked around at our apartment

and started to play around with the idea that if we start to read a painting

like this from left to right as a musician and we try to match the different shapes

and motifs and colors to tones or other elements in music it could be playable,

and the result is a new album and a concept for the concerts

that was born from eight paintings I selected.

This is what fans will be able to experience on my concerts

and it will also be recorded in this form.

So in the end the Water and Paper album and it's concert version is an exciting hybrid world

between notated music and improvisation.

This was very adventurous for me. I really enjoyed this journey.

How we do math with Kids while traveling | The World is Home - Duration: 8:49.

Frankie went to the Lady,

without dad and mom knowing about it

and asked: " Can I have 3 coconuts"?

Is that what you asked?

Yes!

Can you tell me what you asked?

"3 coconuts"

3 coconuts? Ok, and the lady brought the coconuts?

And who will pay for it?

Frankie!

Okay, this is how an average day, lunch, can look like.

We do not cook much at home for lunch . Oh! this is by the way Pen.

It's Tai Pen's restaurant.

I personally think that in the area where we are, this is the best restaurant.

We've tied them all.

So eating here is not expensive

I'm sure it's cheaper to cook at home and we are going to cook at home, some,

because, you know, when you eat the same type of food

and it's not your type of food and you're not use to it that much...

Although we love Thai, after, let's see, how many days are we here for already?

After 10 days of just Thai food, you might feel like, I don't know, your own spices

I'm just gonna buy some minced meat and pasta

Maybe some potatoes and vegetables and do a few dishes, or when I say I, I mean Serve- of course!

He's gonna cook a little bit for us

but we have to get to the market.

And to get to the market we need the car and we couldn't be bothered until today.

So we're probably gonna make an excursion and go to the market maybe tomorrow

but the day after...

and we're gonna like, buy a few like bins and things that I want to set up for the World Schooling

And then we're gonna buy up some some veggies and fruits and some other basic ingredients that we need for cooking at home.

So for a meal like this we pay, what some 500 baht maybe, with a big beer and that would be....

how much is 500 Baht in USD?

More or less 13 Euro.

Yeah, like 15 USD for the whole family. So it's really not expensive.

All right.

4000 Baht makes 100 Euro.

1000 Baht is 25 Euro.

God Oliver.

We have a good calculator. We won't get cheated during our trip.

World Schooling all the time. So math, what we do is we do math like this all the time.

We do exercises as well because Oliver needs to knogw how to write the numbers and the letters correctly and so on.

But, most of the calculations we will do like this.

So just calculating payments,

how much we have to pay

how much we have left.

You know and so on.

Really like, In the world, hands on, 3D exercises.

It's much more fun to do Math like that.

and it gets him very keen, because it becomes real life.

and gets him keen on doing the exercises afterwards as well.

Even if you don't World School full time, like us, you can World School on the side.

Explaining things to the children, instead of just sitting over a book.

Take him out, go to the garden,

have a look at his toys,

count, discount, remove , add...

all this basic math, which is really easy to do.

It's also easier for the brain to grasp when you can actually take on things.

I really recommend to do World Schooling with Math.

I think it makes very keen, math lovers, from the start.

Math doesn't discourage the child, doesn't become complicated, as something inaccessible,

something difficult, an obstacle.

It becomes something really practical and lots of fun to learn.

I think it's a good base.

Alright guys, now I'm going to eat before it gets cold.

Edwin where does the money come from,

that Frank paid with?

From the bank.

He took a bank card

He asked the lady for a bank card.

He put the bank card in the bank.

And after

he asked the lady: "can i have 3 coconuts?

and then he paid with the money that he got from the bank card.

Really?

Yes.

and wherew does the money in the bank come from?

It's from the bank.

So it's not our money then?

yes, yes , yes.

becasue people put money in our bank. That doesn't make much sense.

Oliver what do you think?

How will Frank pay?

He will pay becasue he'll give her a chair from our house.

which has the same value as the coconut,.

So he will exchange goods?

But we don't have a chair with us darling.

A swim pad?

I don't think the lady wants to be paid with that.

How will you pay Frank?

With his hat?

Frankie, come here, how will you pay the coconuts,

that you ordered?

With a marble.

With a marble?

Yes!

No, with a card.

So you have a card then?

A bill.

A bill?

And it comes from where? Do you have a bill?

Show me, where is it?

Someone took it.

Someone took your bill?

Yes, so you have to give me a bill.

So it's me who pays?

No, it's me , but give me a bill.

SO i give you the bill and you pay? Is that it?

Yes.

What do you think daddy?

I think that Edwin got half of what I told him about the bank.

How it works.

It's not bad. The card. People that put money in the bank.

It's a dificult concept to grasp.

You've got a card that gives money, where is the money from?

Bank gives!

Frank ordered coconuts. And i meant to get coconuts, but not here.

Here they are 50Baht.

In the shop they are 20Baht.

Just across the street.

So how much did we lose there Oliver?

30 Baht.

Each coconut...No! 90!

Loss 90 Baht.

What are you having there?

Oliver don't you have a fork?

I give you a little of everything.

Not my rice.

Not my rice.

Not mine. I am a rice "Lover"!

What Is Catch and Kill? - Duration: 1:54.

Ronan Farrow is describing "catch and kill."

It's the practice of buying the rights

to an unreported story,

and intentionally never publishing it.

We can't talk about catch and kill without introducing David Pecker.

He's the chairman and CEO of American Media Inc.,

the parent company of this magazine.

He's been a key player in the recent scandals involving President Trump...

Back in 2006,

Trump allegedly started an affair with Karen McDougal,

a formal playboy model,

while married to his wife Melania.

Trump later denied he had the affair.

But McDougal says the relationship

lasted about 10 months.

We saw each other a minimum of five times a month...

After McDougal considered taking her story public,

Trump had his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen,

set up a deal with David Pecker.

Turns out Cohen recorded these conversations with Trump.

The deal was: American Media Inc., using money from Trump's lawyer,

would pay McDougal for the rights to her story and require her to sign a non-Disclosure Agreement,

effectively forbidding her from speaking about

"any relationship she had with a then-married man."

AMI never published the scoop on Trump's alleged affair with McDougal...

but the story was eventually uncovered by the Wall Street Journal.

This week on Trump, Inc. we're looking at the business of silence.

How president trump buys it

and what the cost is for the country.

Listen wherever you get your podcasts.

Sweet Home's Jennifer Welch Would 'Never Hire' BFF Angie 'Pumps' Sullivan: 'She'd Be a Nightmare' - - Duration: 3:06.

Jennifer Welch gets by with a little help from her friends — but she knows where to draw the line

The interior designer and star of Bravo's Sweet Home Oklahoma is back with a new series, Sweet Home, which follows the Oklahoma City business owner and the employees at her company, Jennifer Welch Designs, as they navigate the ups and downs (and literal tornadoes!) of transforming lackluster homes and offices into luxurious new spaces

Get push notifications with news, articles, and more! Follow Following Hooray! You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications!  PEOPLE has an exclusive clip from the show ahead of its debut on Nov

2.  This time around, Welsh has brought on a trio of millennial women to work alongside her, including office manager Sabah Khan, interior design associate Sarah Moll, and project manager Alex Hodges

And while her staff has changed, her closest companions have not: quirky best friend (and fellow Bravo star) Angie "Pumps" Sullivan is back with her signature humor, as well as Welsh's ex-husband Josh, with whom she lives and co-parents their two sons

"Pumps is still Pumps," the design guru says affectionately of her longtime best friend in the clip

"We are like sisters."  Despite their close bond and the design jargon that Pumps has proudly picked up, Welch, who has 20 years of experience in the field, is determined to keep her bestie separate from her business

"I would never hire Pumps," she swears. "She would take her bra off in client meetings, she would have to go out and have 95,000 smokes… she'd be a nightmare," Welsh deadpans, as Pumps nods her head in agreement beside her

"I think it's better that we have our separate careers," Pumps chimes in. "I agree," Welsh adds

With her ride-or-die on board for moral support and comic relief, Welch continues to tackle "bigger and better projects," ranging from mansions to law firms to oil companies

Each episode centers on a unique space, which Welch and her team reimagine and revitalize

Sweet Home is one of three new design shows Bravo is launching this fall. All will air on their new Friday block of shows

Buying it Blind follows six couples who buy and renovate their new home without ever setting foot inside with help from a team of experts, and Get a Room with Carson & Thom is a makeover series lead by Queer Eye for the Straight Guy alums Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia

Sweet Home premieres Friday, Nov. 2 (10 p.m. ET) on Bravo.

Acetone Combustion Comparison To Mineral Spirits - How Combustible is Acetone - Duration: 1:49.

in this test we are going to pour an L VP

into a petri dish. Next to that we will pour acetone into a petri dish

we will then light the candle that sits between the dishes to replicate the

presence of a ignition source pilot light.

The acetone ignited from its fumes. however the LVP fumes have yet to

ignite. We will now throw matches in the LVP.

The LVP actually extinguished the match.
