Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in the summer having become Los Blancos' all-time leading goalscorer
But he's struggled at the start of his Old Lady career, taking three games to find the net for the first time
He then got sent off for Juventus in their Champions League opener against Valencia and will miss their tie with Young Boys tonight
Ronaldo went goalless against Napoli at the weekend however did play a key role in each of Juve's three goals
And Cafu believes the former Manchester United star is struggling due to the physicality of Italian's domestic league
"He is going to give more visibility to Serie A," Cafu told ESPN. "He will suffer a little in the Serie A because Serie A is a lot more difficult than La Liga in terms of the contrast in teams and in terms of the physical contact
"But Ronaldo is always Cristiano Ronaldo. [He is the] best player in the world and will give a little more star power to Serie A
" Ronaldo joined a Juventus side looking for their eighth successive Serie A title having dominated football in Italy
It's the Champions League that those in Turin crave with Juve's last success being in 1996
They have lost five finals since then, the most recent being to Real Madrid in 2017
But former Juventus striker Filippo Inzaghi believes his old side are now the best team on the continent following Ronaldo's arrival
"Juventus are entirely dominant in Italy and in Europe were so close to winning the Champions League," Inzaghi said
"With Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the best player in the world, Juventus are the best team in Europe or at least one of the best teams
"But that's nothing new because everybody knows it."
