Possible New Reason For Ford's Weird 2nd Door On Home Revealed – Not For Protection From Kav As - Duration: 6:12.

So it seems like Judge Kavanaugh's accuser has committed perjury when she testified under

oath at a Senate hearing on Thursday.

When Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified under oath last week

she identified herself as a "psychologist."

And when she said this she may have perjured herself under California state law.

After she thanked members of the committee on Thursday after she was placed under oath,

Ford opened her testimony saying, "My name is Christine Blasey Ford, I am a professor

of psychology at Palo Alto University and a research psychologist at the Stanford University

School of Medicine."

The problem here is the word "psychologist."

Ford may have misrepresented herself and her credentials.

And if this is indeed the case, those are infractions which are taken very seriously

in the psychological field and under California Law.

Here is more on this via Dangerous:

Under California law, as with almost every other state, in order for a person to identify

publicly as a psychologist they must be licensed by the California Board of Psychology, a process

that includes 3,000 hours of post-doctoral professional experience and passing two rigorous

exams.

To call oneself a psychologist without being licensed by a state board is the equivalent

of a law school graduate calling herself a lawyer without ever taking the bar exam.

According to records, Ford is not licensed in the state of California.

A recent search through the Department of Consumer Affairs License Bureau, which provides

a state-run database of all licensed psychologists in California, produced no results for any

variation of spelling on Ford's name.

If Ford at one time had a license but it is now inactive, she would legally still be allowed

to call herself a "psychologist" but forbidden from practicing psychology on patients until

it was renewed.

However, the database would have shown any past licenses granted to Ford, even if they

were inactive.

Ford also does not appear to have been licensed in any other states outside California.

Since graduating with a PhD in educational psychology from the University of Southern

California in 1996 it does not appear Ford has spent any significant amount of time outside

the state.

She married her husband in California in 2002, and completed a master's degree in California

in 2009.

She reportedly completed an internship in Hawaii, but a search of Hawaii's Board of

Psychology licensing database also did not turn up any results for Ford.

What makes Ford's claim even more suspicious is someone affiliated with Stanford University

appears to have also been aware of the potentially damning use of the word "psychologist"

and rushed to cover for Ford.

DANGEROUS exclusively uncovered an archived version of Ford's page on the school's

faculty directory.

On September 10, 2015, the only archived date available, Ford's faculty page was saved

to the Wayback Machine and showed Ford listed as a "research psychologist" along with

her email address and office phone number.

The most recent version of that page shows Ford listed only as an "Affiliate" in

the department, with the words "research psychologist" removed along with Ford's

email address and phone number.

This suggests the page was altered by someone very recently to scrub Ford's contact information

and title after she entered the national spotlight."

Aside from potentially misleading the committee, Ford also appears to have violated California

law.

California's Business and Professional Code Sections 2900-2919 govern the state's laws

for practicing psychology.

Section 2903 reads, "No person may engage in the practice of psychology, or represent

himself or herself to be a psychologist, without a license granted under this chapter, except

as otherwise provided in this chapter."

Section 2902(c) states: (c) "A person represents himself or herself to be a psychologist when

the person holds himself or herself out to the public by any title or description of

services incorporating the words 'psychology,' 'psychological,' 'psychologist,' 'psychology

consultation,' 'psychology consultant,' 'psychometry,

Box Office for Night School, Smallfoot, Venom & A Star is Born - Duration: 8:04.

hello and welcome to this week's movie math where things this weekend were

relatively calm before what's expected to be a box office storm

yeah that's Hollywood is understandably excited for it to rain and what's

particularly special about this upcoming weekend is that while it's usually just

one standout movie a frame right a frame is a industry speak for a box office

weekend right the three days or a holiday frame if you know the Monday's

included but anyway this coming weekend it looks like two movies and two studios

are expected to share oh isn't that nice and in fact this weekend to movies and

to Studios shared the weekend although at a smaller level yes both nights cool

and small foot posts and solid opening weekends now the first film of course is

night school and Kevin Hart fresh off of the biggest hit of his career the

ensemble action adventure comedy Jumanji while Hart proved he's still a movie

star in his own right posting yet another debut in the 30

million range that's not bad on your resume I can open

movies at around 30 million consistently right but here he did it without the

rock ice cube or even Will Ferrell but he did have a semi costar and relative

newcomer Tiffany Haddish right and that she could make up one half as potent a

Kevin Hart combo as with those other three dudes is impressive indeed

and Haddish has not one but two more comedies to go this year her

representation did a wonderful job capitalizing off of her breakout film

girl strip right and this bodes well for both of them but I think particularly

Tyler Perry's nobody's fooled that movie looks excellent and once again diversity

was proven to equal money in the bank for Hollywood and as we know that's what

motivates Hollywood to actually do what they should okay so there was a strong

diverse supporting cast in night school and that resulted in a very diverse

audience get ready to have your mind blown because this is a really big deal

so 37% of the audience was Caucasian 30% African American 24% Hispanic 5% Asian

at the bottom again Asian moviegoers and you can see again why crazier iterations

was such a big deal and also searching and then 4% other now well I think what

I think is very interesting here is that perhaps Jumanji has upped hearts appeal

with Caucasian audiences because while with the rock and Central Intelligence

he nabbed a 40 percent Caucasian audience the rock has been loved by all

for quite some time when he was teamed with ice cube for ride along to heart

only brought in 22% a Caucasian audience so make no mistake it is a huge freaking

deal that the biggest demographic to turn out for a Kevin Hart and Tiffany

Haddish movie because like on the poster it wasn't diverse right is Caucasian

movie goers again that was the biggest audience to turn up for this movie

now you pair that with the solid box office debut plus an a-minus cinema

score and you know what that is that is fantastic

exhibit a B and C for any other talent of color that's trying to convince the

Hollywood studios have them be a lead in a big movie that's meant for a wide

audience going forward that's very valuable and if people's agents and

managers don't think of it they should tell them to pitch that in the room it's

huge alright that over at Warner Brothers the

studio is determined to get their own animation shingle off the ground these

days thanks to computer animation anyone can compete and often does although

Warner Brothers is admittedly towards the back of the animation pack but small

foot was an encouraging albeit small step forward also getting an a-minus

from audiences small foot reps WB animations biggest opening by a smidge

but it's still the biggest one outside of their Lego movies they do good work

I liked small for quite a bit and I liked historic Steven Moore by the way

and a utopia certainly awaits small foot on streaming which is what a house with

the clock in its walls will also have to hope for a small foot ate into its

family audience non-family audience just a little bit of a warning when you're

typing quickly don't leave out the clock because it makes for very

different wall decorations okay now as for the uh really surprised myself

typing my notes today alright so as for the weekends other new releases Hellfest

is the second of four high-rated horror movies to theaters for Halloween this

year and it's DOA opening opening weekend shows how competitive and brand

based the horror genre has become just to remember that it used to be that the

horror genre was a way to break into the industry that you didn't have to be

known in front of her behind the camera I interviewed Wes Craven and he said

that's how he started getting making horror movies he could never get out of

the genre but that's why that's why that was why it was where he started but now

these days it's so crowded and therefore so competitive and you need to stand out

from the crowd in some way then a movie like Hellfest really just cannot compete

and i think even just a few years ago somebody might be like well it was my

great-grand it was like really small movie from CBS Films right but even

still it should have been able to open bigger than this then 2018 log yet

another hit documentary with free solo boasted the best per theater average for

a limited release of any movie not just documentaries this year unseating eighth

grade I told you eighth grade would be unseated very quickly and I'm sure the

free solo will as award season heats up and we get more and more hot movies and

limited release but still it doesn't undercut eighth grades accomplishment

nor free solos the documentary Oscar this year is gonna probably it for the

first time a competition that a number of mainstream moviegoers actually pay

attention to and have lately seen or at least a number of people have seen the

competitors exciting stuff who would you be rooting for so far if you've seen

these I've only seen two of the three and I guess I guess I'd have to go for

our RBG for obvious reasons that has four Robert Redford he recently

backtracked on retiring from acting after the old man and the gun why

Redford that was your best play for an Oscar although I have to say not only is

the per theater average on this pretty darn low for a Robert Redford movie but

I actually had the misfortune of sitting it through this last night the other

night Saturday night and it was just awful truly horrible

boring really bad moving I can't believe that Robert Redford you know Robert

Redford at this point in his career when he can you would assume pick the

projects that he wants to do is shocking this is um

this is something that he would do and I guess that's a good reason for him not

to retire also looking at you Daniel day-lewis these are not notes that you

want to go out on okay but as for the overall top ten a simple

favor continues to benefit from very strong word-of-mouth deservedly so

really fun movie even if the endings not so great and again it's not one but two

Henry Golding picks that have the best holds in the top ten Henry Goulding's

career is golden oh I keep getting a kick out of the fact that he's the one

non actor in the cast alright but he seems like a really wonderful guy and I

think certainly an adequate actor at the very least and then this coming weekend

yes once again two movies will share the frame with both venom and a star is

born' expected to post very strong debuts which of the two will you be

seeing well you've been making a Sophie's Choice between venom and stars

born or will you see both I actually have to say I bet a lot of you do see

both and I'd be curious to hear what your plans are down below so that's this

week's movie math thanks for going over the box office with me again share those

thoughts down below and of course as always you can check out some more

videos right now

Community Support For Oil and Gas | NMOGA - Duration: 3:59.

I've lived in New Mexico the last 40 years

I've lived here in Artesia, New Mexico

I have lived in the New Mexico area for over 20 years now

I stay in Artesia because I have 2 boys who are now a freshman and a sophomore, and we like the community

I've been teaching for 18

I've worked in the oil and gas industry for 18, 19 years

Been in the oil field since 2000

And I have lived in the Farmington area in the San Juan basin for the last 30 plus years

I have 15 years in the oil and gas industry

I wouldn't be where I am today without oil and gas

I see the impact that the oil and gas industry has on the families of San Juan County

You know, it's something we all depend on

We have a lot of technology and resources available to us because we were in the oil and gas community

That really keeps our co-op going

Energy is great and it's safe and effective means of energy

for our country, our world and our community

I believe in the energy industry, I always will be and I'll always be here a part of it.

Everything that you see here is is due to oil and gas and the giving community that we live in

It's a wonderful industry, and we're proud of it.

Oil and gas provides over 100,000 jobs in the State of New Mexico

Also, it's good paying jobs.

Ya know, people can go and get educated and make a living to support their families

I am thankful for oil and gas due to the amount of jobs they have opened up for our community and throughout the entire states

The jobs that oil and gas provide to this area and this community

Creates jobs, um, families thrive off of it

I think a lot of people don't realize that

How many people we do employ in this industry

It provides so many jobs

I'm most thankful to the oil and gas industry because they are the backbone of our education

The public schools benefit from the oil and gas industry

I mean, we received over 136 million dollars to our public education system at Dona Ana County

Our county alone in Bernalillo county is getting 306 million dollars coming back into education from this industry

I think I am most thankful for the amount of money that they put into education

First of all, it helps to fund our schools and for me education is very important for our state and my community

You can tell the area's oil/gas is located because your towns are in better shape and roads are better

Your schools are fantastic

This industry supports the state economy more than any industry we have

It's what keeps the community going

Without the oil and gas, there's not much of a tax base or anything else in New Mexico

Benefits the entire economy

To me, oil and gas is very important to the economies

I can tell you my kids will go to college because of the economic impact that oil and gas has had on this community

I am thankful for oil and natural gas

I'm most thankful to the oil and gas industry

I really am very thankful for the oil and gas industry

Thankful, thankful, thankful, thankful, thankful, thankful, so thankful for oil and gas
