Lacazette reveals the secret behind his winning goal for Arsenal against Cardiff City | AFC News - Duration: 2:18.

Arsenal news includes comments from Alexandre Lacazette

Alexandre Lacazette has revealed the secret to his winning goal against Cardiff City on

Sunday.

The Frenchman, starting his first Premier League game of the season, sent a strong message

to head coach Unai Emery about keeping him in the starting XI with the final goal of

a five-goal thriller in Wales.

Escaping the attentions of his marker to receive a pass from Lucas Torreira, Lacazette crashed

the ball past Neil Etheridge from an acute angle to once again restore the Gunners' lead

after Daniel Ward had equalised for the hosts.

It proved to be difference between the two sides as the north London outfit followed

up last weekend's 3-1 win over West Ham United with their first away win under Emery.

Speaking about his impact after the game Lacazette explained that the reason for his powerful

effort was as a result of studying tapes of the Cardiff goalkeeper's weaknesses.

"We saw some highlights from the goalkeeper, and I knew if I shot with a lot of power I

could score so I did!," he told reporters.

Not only did Lacazette get on the scoresheet at the Cardiff City Stadium but he also hit

the post in the first-half and provided an assist for strike partner Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

in a man-of-the-match display.

Having come on as a substitute against Manchester City, Chelsea as well as the Hammers, the

27-year-old is hopeful that his performance can earn him another start in the clash with

Newcastle United at St James' Park after the international break.

"For me, it was important to start well," he added.

"I wanted to prove to the coach that I can be in the first 11, I think I did that and

I'm happy."

There were some defensive concerns on show for the Gunners, although the win does move

them into the top half of the Premier League table.

3 Criteria for Choosing a Local Church - Duration: 1:49.

- [J.D. Greear] The biggest thing because of how we understand the walk of faith,

you look for the preaching of God's word. The preaching of God's word precedes

everything good. It's God's word that created the world. It's God's word that

brings life and so if I had to identify one thing,

it's going to be faithful, biblical, gospel-rich sermons that direct people's

attention to what God says and not what the pastor thinks. That'd be one thing.

A second thing, what I...you know, would be community. Church is supposed

to be a family that you belong to, not an event that you attend

on the weekend. And so, you know, our discipleship really happens by being

in a community where not just where we hear sermons, but where people can see

into our lives and speak into our lives. And so, it's got to be a place that helps

you foster that community. A place where you... I mean,

I don't want to make it so trivial that, like, you just like the people

and you get along, but a place that you can really, you know,

connect and go deep with. I think the third thing and one that's often

overlooked is a place that mobilizes and engages your spiritual ministry gifts.

You should feel like your gifts are exponentially more useful because of the

community that you belong to, than you would if you were by yourself.

So, those would be the top three things that I would look for.

Obviously, you know, I think convictions matter about church.

I'm a Baptist by conviction, and I think things I believe is baptism matter,

and so the first place when I go to a church, I'm going to look for a

church that is Baptist or at least, you know,

has baptist convictions about those things. But most important is the

preaching of God's word, the centrality of the gospel, the community,

and the commitment to see its members raised up and use

their ministry gifts in the world.

Calls for Lucas Torreira to replace Xhaka increase as Arsenal's midfield conundrum rumbles on - Duration: 3:06.

Ian Wright and Jermaine Jenas are in agreement that Lucas Torreira should come in for Granit Xhaka, but are undecided as to what Arsenal's best midfield duo is

So far this season new Gunners head coach has opted for the Switzerland international and Matteo Guendouzi in front of the back four

In each of those games Torreira - signed from Sampodria this summer - has been introduced as a second half substitute in a bid to provide better protection for the defence

Against Manchester City and Chelsea in the first two weeks of the new season the midfielder replaced Xhaka, but in the last two games against West Ham United and Cardiff it's been Guendouzi who has made way

Calls for Torreira to start have increased with each passing week and supporters' patience with Xhaka appears to be running out following yet another below-par performance against the Bluebirds on Sunday

He was once again at fault for the concession of a goal on the stroke of half-time as his attempted crossfield pass was easily cut out and duly punished by the hosts

Things did not improve after the break as he was booked and gave away a needless foul in injury time which could have led to another Cardiff equaliser

Despite claiming the assist for Shkodran Mustafi's goal, Wright both agree that it's time for Xhaka to be dropped and for Torreira to come in

"I would. I probably would," Wright admitted on Match of the Day 2 when asked if he would take Xhaka out of the starting XI

"This is what worries me about Granit Xhaka. He's got options. He's got masses of space

Time and space around him and he does that. It's against Cardiff, they haven't scored yet, but you can get punished

I would like to see Torreira play. 26 passes, 26 completions and an assist. He's got to get a game

Surely he's got to get a start!."Also Guendouzi. Guendouzi has to play! Jenas weighed in on the debate and interestingly suggested Mohamed Elneny - who hasn't even played this season - should be gigven a chance

Also Elneny. He's a solid, steady centre midfield player they've needed at times, but Torreira definitely has shown me a lot more than I think I've seen from the two midfield players who have played so far," the ex-Tottenham midfielder said

BEFORE YOU GO TO SCHOOL, WATCH THIS || WHAT IS SCHOOL FOR? - Duration: 8:14.

WHAT

IS SCHOOL

FOR?

Feel free to call me slow but,

I spent 16 years going to school

and I still don't know.

When I finished,

I didn't know how to do my own taxes,

purchase a home,

or apply for a loan.

I didn't know a thing about investments,

building credit or getting a job.

I graduated at the top of my class

and what did I have?

This fancy diploma to sit at home with...

my mom.

But luckily,

they did teach me some important skills

like factoring trinomials and

how mitochondria

is the powerhouse of the cell.

I'm so happy I remember

the Pythagorean theorem

'cause it helped me a lot.

Ok, I'm lying let me stop.

Because all the stuff they taught me

truthfully, I forgot.

Mom, remember when you would ask me:

"What did you learn in school today?"

And I would say:

"Nothin' much."

I wasn't being modest

The truth about it mom is

I had already forgotten.

And it's not just me--

millions of students sing the same song.

How many of you guys

avoid eye contact with the teacher

to try not to get called upon?

Afraid to raise your hand

for fear of being wrong,

which proves that school

isn't an environment

for learning or building up the intellect.

It's just a game you play for grades

and how many A's you can collect.

But I guess what do you expect

when the most commonly

asked question in class is:

"Is this gonna be on the test?"

Is this gonna be on the test?

See if school really put learning

instead of testing and memorizing

as the top standard

then the letter "F"

would not stand for "Failure."

It would stand for

"Find another Answer."

And if school was really interested

in our personal and academic success,

students would wake up later,

have more freedom and homework...

a lot less.

And that's not my opinion,

this conclusion has been

scientifically tested and proven.

And any teacher that doesn't believe me

feel free to check

my works cited page to inspect.

Oh, and I did it in MLA format

because I know that's all you will accept.

See students would get more benefit

from an extra hour of sleep

than putting them through

the torture of an extra essay,

reading 150 pages,

doing problems 1-60 on the worksheet,

and having 3 projects

due by the end of the week.

Not only is it pointless pain

but it's also dim-witted.

Because we get so much work,

but they don't teach

the time management skills

to deal with it.

See in school we are controlled by bells.

We have to learn in rooms

with the Feng shui of a prison cell.

We have to ask permission

to relieve bodily functions

but not before the teacher

asks a million questions like:

"Why Didn't you go before class"

I'm sorry

my bladder is kinda on its own schedule

and it's not always timely.

See teachers always say:

"Use your time wisely."

But that never made sense to me.

'Cause these six cruel hours

of our lives we call "school"

might literally be the worst use of

time management ever in history.

Think about it,

the traditional teaching method is foolish.

No, it's useless

multiplied by the square root of...

stupid

What they do is:

They cram information in your head,

force-feeding ya

And then you throw it up on the test.

THAT'S NOT EDUCATION....

that's bulimia.

And the more bulimic you are

the better you will do on assessments.

So it's no wonder why

so many students graduate

mentally and emotionally anorexic.

See school teaches you

how to memorize dots.

TRUE education SHOULD teach you

how to connect them.

TRUE education teaches you

how to catch a fish.

School teaches you:

yeah you caught the fish

but u didn't show your work

so it doesn't count.

Throw it back!

I'm just asking

What is school for?

It's not education,

that's just not true.

If you still think that, you

might be sniffing the glue.

See the word education

comes from the Latin root "educe"

meaning "bring out"

i.e bring the gifts out of a person

and make them viable.

But school doesn't bring out much.

It just stuffs more facts inside of you.

Now some of that stuff is justifiable.

We need reading, writing,

and some arithmetic-- that's fair.

But are you telling me metamorphic

and igneous rocks

are more important than self-care?

If suicide is the 3rd leading cause

of death of ages 10-24

and Harvard studies suggest

the biggest predictor for success

is self-control and emotional health,

then why the heck

aren't we taught how to handle stress,

bullies or rejection?

How about anxiety or depression?

You know-- skills we need

for our entire lives.

Bro, I don't even know how to cook.

I'm honestly surprised I'm still alive.

But hey at least I can name all the battles

that happened in the civil war.

Seriously, what is school for?

Some say you need it to be successful

and that's something we do not doubt.

But do you own a MacBook or iPhone?

Did you know they both

were created by a dropout?

Are you watching this video

on Facebook or YouTube?

Doesn't matter which you choose.

They both were created by dropouts.

Ever used Snapchat, WhatsApp,

shopped at Whole Foods?

Well, Thanks a dropout.

Does your home furniture come from IKEA?

OK don't get the wrong idea--

he was not a dropout,

don't be a fool.

I mean how could he drop out,

Ingvar Kamprad, founder of IKEA

never even went to school.

I know what you're thinking:

"He's just picking and choosing,

there's millions who didn't go to school

that aren't successful.

Who is he fooling?"

And You're right!

But open your history books

and start perusing.

You'll find the very people

we idolize in school

never really had formal

and/or secondary schooling.

I'm talking George Washington

Abe Lincoln

Americas best presidents

had zero school between them.

Ben Franklin

Thomas Edison

Shall I proceed?

Ernest Hemingway

Mark Twain

Teddy Roosevelt

Margaret Mead

Now, please!

I'm not saying drop out.

'Cause some schools are great

and many teachers are rare treasures.

I'm saying that there's a difference

between people who are smart

and people who score better.

I'm saying that your future

is something no test

will ever measure.

Even if that test begins in 3 letters

like SAT, ACT.

It's BS if they say those determine

your L.I.F.E

No, your destiny is in your hands.

You must shape it to be great.

So don't expect school to open doors

'Cause it's more likely to slam them

in your face.

Sometimes I wonder

about all the dreams lost in school

and how much potential goes to waste.

If it wasn't for music

and YouTube then I

would have been just another lost case.

Everybody watching this

please close your eyes.

Imagine a child sitting in the back

of some teachers class

in some town,

he never raises his hand,

he fails most of his classes

but inside of him lives a passion.

And if nurtured and brought out

will lead him to discover

the cure for cancer.

But you see,

I'm afraid that child's gift

will never come out.

He will never win the Nobel Prize award

because in class he was ignored

and his worth was judged only

by his scores.

So teachers, principals,

parents, advisors, and students,

I ask one more time:

"What

is school

for?"

Amazing Terrain Pieces For Fallout Wasteland Warfare // Tabletop Hub - Duration: 4:53.

Today we're looking at some amazing terrain pieces for you to use in your Fallout Wasteland

Warfare games, right after this.

Hey everyone Sam here from the Tabletop Hub, your one stop shop for all things tabletop

and recently I've been on the lookout for some terrain pieces that I could use in my

games of Fallout Wasteland Warfare.

Now before we go any further there's a couple of points; firstly, no I've not been sponsored

or paid to showcase any of these products to you these are just some pieces of terrain

I've found from some great companies I know of and secondly you could absolutely kit-bash

some terrain together and it would equally look great (I just suck at that and it can

be tricky to find the time).

So the first piece of terrain I want to showcase to you is from a company that I've just

came across very recently called Black Site Studio, they're based in Dallas Texas and

their work is really fantastic.

Now there are two sets that I want to draw your attention to, they create a terrain line

called Contraband, these are basically short-run, ready-to-use pieces of terrain and they actually

have a fallout themed bunker entrance in this line.

It'll cost you $69 without shipping if you want to get your hands on this and you're

equally going to want to follow the Black Site Studio Facebook page to find out when

it's in stock.

Every time they produce some more of this terrain piece it sells out incredibly fast.

For me I think it would be a great feature piece if you were wanting to create a gaming

table based around the player settlement you can create and equally could be really useful

for some of the scenarios you can play in Fallout Wasteland Warfare.

If you've got a bit of a budget and just want to get everything in one go though you're

going to want to check out the Wasteland Super Bundle from Black Site Studio.

It's $269 without shipping but you get a TON of pieces including an urban fallout shelter

entrance, concrete walls, picket fences, dumpsters, barricades, quite a few urban residences,

some of which have a really nice destroyed look and tons more.

It's not a cheap bundle by any means but if you just want to get all your terrain in

one go I think this is really worth a look-in.

If you're looking for something a little less urban and a bit more unique though I

recently came across a new line of terrain pieces that are being made by the folks over

at PlastCraft Games.

Now they have a line of wasteland highway pieces ranging from €27 to €40 without

shipping, as you can see from the images they're pretty sizeable and would definitely make

for a great feature piece on the game board.

The pieces that I really love though from PlastCraft are these new stranded ships.

You've got the standard ship which is more or less the size of a tugboat or a small trawler

which looks great on it's own, it'll set you back €70, BUT, if you want to really

push the boat out…pardon that pun…you can purchase a stranded freighter upgrade

kit for €35 which turns the stranded boat into…well…a stranded freighter.

But look at the sheer size of this piece, it looks amazing, really reminds me of the

stranded boat you could come across in Fallout 4 that was infested with Super Mutants.

Some very cool pieces.

Finally I want to highlight just a couple of pieces from a company that I've known

of for a long time now, 4Ground.

4Ground produce some stunning pieces of kit, I've had the pleasure of gaming with some

of their pieces and the level of detail always astounds me.

They have a series of pieces called Woodbury Rise in their Homeland Apocalypse series of

pieces and in particular they've got a couple of beautiful ruined houses but also a really

nice ruined diner too which will set you back £54.

Some other pieces that I also really like are the damaged containers that they make,

it's almost more at home in something like The Walking Dead All Out War but I think you

could get away with using these in your Fallout Wasteland Warfare games too.

These range from £26 to £48.

But folks those are some of my favourite pieces of scenery and terrain that I've seen recently

that I think would work really well on your gaming tables for Fallout Wasteland Warfare,

if you're interested in any of these pieces I'll leave links down in the video description

and if you do go to buy any let them know I sent you and maybe we'll get a piece of

terrain or two sent over to check out.

In the meantime though why not let me know what plans you have for your Fallout Wasteland

Warfare tables down in the comments below but until next time have a great week and

I'll speak to you all soon.
