A place for entrepreneurship - Duration: 3:36.What is it that Chalmers does that is unique, what is it that we do so well?
ENTREPRENEURSHIP MAKES THINGS HAPPEN
Entrenpreurship, why is it important? Entrepreneurship is important because it is what makes things happen.
Many people have a lot of ideas and suggestions. But it is a lot harder to actually do something.
And creation is a dimension of entrepreneurship which is very important.
To create value for others and to make sure that things get done.
THINK DIFFERENTLY – TOGETHER
If you look at our whole society, we are faced with many challenges,
and we have worked many years trying to improve the world,
improving how things work. But we have come to a point in many areas where you cannot just
improve, you actually need to find totally new ways of doing things.
You need to tackle the problem from other angles.
We're talking about developing creativity, working with instinct, being able to handle uncertainty.
TOGETHER WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE
What is considered entrepreneurial is usually something where you don't know the answer,
and you have to create the answer yourself
often through interaction with a lot of different people.
The approach we have at Chalmers is that it's not just one person who can make a difference.
Rather, the difference is made by the team. Through that you can actually get a lot further.
I think that is an important dimension, and it is what we usually call co-creation.
The skills you gain will last your whole lifetime. An innovation might last ten or twenty years.
I think everyone needs to be entrepreneurial in the society of the future.
You need to be able to think differently.
CREATE VALUE FOR OTHERS
It's really common that the most exciting, radical innovation takes place in a university environment.
Not least here at Chalmers, where we mix together researchers, industry partners and students.
We have a really great system, where we team up both students and researchers
who maybe have an idea, and can go further with it.
But also, we work in cooperation with the city and the region.
They come here with their ideas so we can help.
We have, for example, the student union, like many others also have.
But you can also see there are so many companies here that the students are behind.
So I think that also shows that it's not something we just talk about.
Instead entrepreneurship is something we actually live.
When you come here, there's actually a dimension that doesn't exist everywhere
when you think of entrepreneurship and creating value for everyone.

(They dropped by a supermarket with 13 dollars.)
We should get leeks.
I think it's the best, right?
Let's get this one.
- How much is that? / - 1.90 dollars.
Rolled omelet? Won't you make it?
Rolled omelet?
Get the cheap one.
Yes. Let's get it.
5.50 dollars plus 2 dollars is...
It's 9.80 dollars.
What?
- We're okay. / - Let's go.
(They're at Jongmin's house.)
(Oh, my goodness.)
(Jongmin's house is cleaner than expected.)
(We can tell that this is Jongmin's house.)
(He loves himself so much.)
- It's the Grand Prize. / - This is amazing.
(There are many plaques.)
My goodness.
I know this one.
What about this?
It's the Grand Prize Project.
Yes, that's right.
I remember this.
There are many photos here.
(He proudly shows off everything.)
These are all books.
- That's so nice. / - You're smart.
(He's proud again.)
- It's Koyote's album. / - It's your album.
- It's nice. / - Are these all the same?
Yes. They're the same.
(He's pressured to explain well.)
(She wants to know.)
These are leftovers.
(Let the fans guess the actual reason for it.)
We'll have kimchi pancake, ramyeon
and sausages.
We'll make dumplings too.
(Today's chefs are Mao Junping and Cheng Liu.)
(Chopping)
(She makes the batter in a flash.)
(She pours the batter on the frying pan)
(and griddles it.)
(She has great flipping skill.)
That's so good.
(Meanwhile, Mao Junping)
(makes slits in the sausages and fries them.)
I'll start cooking ramyeon now.
Six.
(Don't forget. Ramyeon is my pride.)
(Ramyeon is done.)
(The others set the table.)
(Jongmin comes out to the living room.)
(He looks over and goes straight into the storage.)
(Crashing)
(What are you doing there?)
I didn't think they'd come here.
I see.
(It's the table with a butane stove.)
(Interesting)
Why do you have this table?
A friend of mine gave it to me as a gift.
(Tilting his head)
He's a peculiar guy.
It's a strange gift.
It is.
(It's a familiar, yet strange table.)
Shall we start eating ramyeon?
- Yes. / - Eat up.
- Enjoy. / - Thank you.
(Jongmin's ramyeon is the main menu.)
(Liu and Junping's kimchi leek pancake)
(Everyone gets their chopsticks ready.)
(She cools the ramyeon and takes a bite.)
(This is it.)
Put one in.
(Everyone tastes the ramyeon first.)
(They're all good with chopsticks.)
- We're eating ramyeon. / - Amazing.
You're good.
Not many countries use chopsticks.
How does the ramyeon taste?
It's so good.
It's really delicious.
(Jongmin's ramyeon is the best.)
Let's try the pancake.
They made it.
We can take one each.
(Taking a bite of kimchi leek pancake)
(It's delicious.)
They made it.
The pancake is delicious.
The pancake is good.
- It's delicious. / - Yes.
(Thank you.)
How did you learn to make it?
I saw it in a drama.
Drama?
She learned it from a drama.
It's good.
It's tasty.
(They toast with kimchi pancake.)
We have three dollars left.
- Three dollars left. / - Let's buy ice cream.
Okay.
Which game from Two Days and One Night shall we play?
The "3-6-9 Game"?
Can they play the "3-6-9 Game"?
Can you play the "3-6-9 Game"?
I've seen you play it.
Okay, let's do this. We'll play "3-6-9 Game",
but you have to speak in your language.
- Okay. / - I speak Korean, you speak English.
Oh, my gosh.
- Okay. / - German?

It's confusing. It's too hard.
So...

Why did she say it in Korean?
- She said it in Chinese. / - 17.
- It sounds similar. / - Does it?
- How do you say 17? / - 17.
I see.

- One. / - Two.
- Four. / - Five.

(Team Jongmin might lose another member.)
17.
(So close!)
- 18. / - 1...
(She claps, but it's too late.)
(Cheng Liu is out.)
Didn't she just say 17 in Korean?
(Joonyoung gets suspicious of Grace.)
- 17. / - 17.
"Seibzehn."
- We'll go again. / - It sounds like Korean.
- "Seibzehn." / - "Seibzehn."
Five people left.

- One. / - Two.
- Four. / - Five.
- Seven. / - Eight.
- 10. / - 11.
(A clap?)
(Joonyoung gets ready to clap.)
(Why did Grace clap?)
You were 12.
That's right.
Okay.
(A sigh of relief)
Good luck.

"You need a good team."
(Team Joonyoung)
(toasts with ice cream.)
(Kayla teases them with ice cream.)
Joonyoung's fans are just like him.

One For Arthur set for return - Duration: 1:54.One For Arthur set for return
One For Arthur is on course to make his return to action before the end of the year.
The 2017 Grand National hero is back in training, much to the delight of his handler Lucinda Russell.
The Kinross trainer will choose from one of three races - the Betfair Chase (November 24), the Ladbrokes Trophy (December 1) and the Becher Chase (December 8) - as One For Arthur's comeback race.
The nine-year-old has been out with a tendon injury since his triumph at Aintree.
"He's started cantering and we're really pleased with him," said Russell.
"He's done a lot of pre-training and been on the treadmill a lot.
"It's so nice to have him back in the string, to turn round and see his face coming up behind me.
It's perfect.
"There are a few races he can run in at the end of November time.
I haven't exactly decided which one.".

Chelsea not for sale despite reports Roman Abramovich sets £3bn asking price - Duration: 1:59.Chelsea not for sale despite reports Roman Abramovich sets £3bn asking price
Reports Roman Abramovich is willing to sell Chelsea for up to £3bn are inaccurate and the club remains not for sale, Sky Sports News has been told.
US media station Bloomberg are reporting the Russian billionaire owner has employed merchant bankers in the States to advise on the sale of the west London club.
Abramovich has not been seen in London for several months since a series of visa problems in May.
However, despite his absence and stories resurfacing of a potential sale, sources at the west London club are adamant that nothing has changed and have told SSN that the club is not for sale.
Sky Sports News reported back in June that Abramovich has no interest in selling Chelsea.
At that point, the 51-year-old remained fully committed to Chelsea despite the fact plans to redevelop Stamford Bridge had been put on hold.
Abramovich bought Chelsea for £140m in 2003 and they have won the Champions League, the Europa League, five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, three League Cups and two Community Shields since then.

Breaking News - Bumper £2.78m pay package for European Tour chief Keith Pelley - Duration: 4:43.It has emerged on the eve of the Ryder Cup that European Tour chief executive Keith Pelley earned an extraordinary financial package of £2
78million last year. Pelley's pay is far in excess of that earned by the previous CEO of the European Tour, George O'Grady, who was on £610,717 when Canadian businessman Pelley succeeded him in 2015
The Tour's published accounts detail that Pelley also earned more than £2.5m in 2016
Yet despite Pelley's massive remuneration, no bumper new sponsors that would greatly improve revenue have been added to the Ryder Cup or European Tour roster of backers during his time
If anything, the European Tour has lost ground to the booming US PGA tour. It should be a cause for concern that next year Europe's top two golfers, Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy, are not due to tee off in Europe until July
The accounts also show that during Pelley's tenure, the number of external consultants used by the European Tour has doubled
A Tour spokesman would not comment on Pelley's contract, but said the set-up of the organisation had improved under his leadership
BBC Sport's slavish adherence to French employment law at the Ryder Cup reached the ridiculous levels on Wednesday of Iain Carter, the golf correspondent, not going to the course to avoid exceeding his hours two days before the tournament
It will be difficult for some to take David Ginola seriously as presenter of the Ryder Cup opening ceremony on Thursday
This follows his doomed 2015 bid for the FIFA presidency that lost credibility when it emerged that his campaign had been sponsored by bookmakers Paddy Power
It was considered Ginola being French made him a more apt choice for Le Golf National - he was rehearsing on the autocue on Wednesday - than Sky Sport golf presenter Di Dougherty who hosted at Celtic Manor and Gleneagles
Tiger Woods took his place in the front row on the right-hand of captain Jim Furyk for the American team pictures on Wednesday
This was in stark contrast to two years ago in Hazeltine when an injury-hit Woods had to be reminded he wasn't one of the players when he stayed in the line-up with the rest of the team after the vice-captains' picture had been taken
The Europeans turned up promptly at 8am as scheduled on Tuesday for their pictures, but the Americans turned up more than 20 minutes late - blaming a rules meeting and buggy drivers going to the practice range rather than the 10th fairway for the pictures
The European Tour insist that everything is on course for the Ryder Cup in 2022 at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club outside Rome
Nevertheless, rumours will not go away that Adare Manor in County Limerick, owned by racing magnate JP McManus, is standing by to stage the event if the Italians do not meet their scheduled commitments
There has been concern because the current Italian Government do not share the enthusiasm for golf of the previous administration, who won the bid in 2015 - and payment deadlines were missed in 2017
But a tour spokesman said all current money owed has been received. Adare Manor, rebuilt in 2017 to championship-standard quality, is seen as a likely bidder for 2026 in any case
McManus is a hugely influential figure on the European Tour and will most likely have VIP inside-the-ropes credentials at Le Golf National
Darren Clarke, losing European captain in 2016, may have found it tough to be at Le Golf National on Friday after a harrowing 4-0 whitewash on the opening morning in Hazeltine
But, as it happens, Clarke will be across the Atlantic playing at Pebble Beach in a US Seniors tour event while also celebrating his son's 18th birthday over there

The nice pictures would make up for the failure. [2Days&1Night Season3/2018.09.16] - Duration: 10:15.(They're finally on their way to Mount Nam.)
In Mount Nam, you must take the cable car.
All right.
Mountain was the best option.
Have you always been a fan of Joonyoung or...
Actually, you're one of the reasons why
I started watching the show.
I watch it because you're in it.
(High-five!)
She started watching the show because of me.
What do you like about him so much?
Your voice has a wide range.
You can make music in completely different styles,
and they all sound amazing.
- Agreed. / - So it's his voice.
(They agree with her.)
Why do you like only Jongmin?
(Why do you like me only?)
- Why? Why do you love me? / - "Why do you love me?"
Because you're so funny.
- What? / - You're so funny.
What else?
(What else do you want to hear?)
- You're so cute. / - Gosh.
What else?
That's it.
(Enough is enough.)
That was it.
It's the cable car.
(Laughing and chatting, they arrive at Mount Nam.)
(They get out of the bus, light-hearted.)
(There's a cable car in the middle of the sky.)
(Mount Nam Cable Car)
Now we're going to climb Mount Nam.
You're not going to say one team will walk up
while the other take the cable car, are you?
That's correct.
(That's my One Night Two Day.)
- We'll ride a cable car. / - Yes, we will.
We have to win.
Only the fans will play Muk-chi-ba.
- We're not playing? / - No.
And it's going to be "Body Muk-chi-ba".
That's too difficult.
They won't even understand the original Muk-chi-ba.
Is this "muk"?
(He gives them a quick lesson.)
- This is "chi". / - "Chi."
- "Ba." / - "Ba."
- Muk-chi-ba. / - Muk-chi-ba.
- Okay. / - Okay? Let's do this.
- Two Days and One Night. / - We can do it.
- One, two, three. Let's go. / - Let's go.
(A cable car ride or hiking)
- Is Mike going to play? / - Come on out.
(Round 1, Mike versus Cheng Liu)
(Condescending)
(Worried)
Rock-paper-scissors.
"Muk."
(It's a tense match.)
"Chi."
(Mike is defending surprisingly well.)
(This is not easy.)
Why is he so good?
- "Muk." / - Yes!
(Cheng Liu wins.)
- Nice. / - Nice.
It's okay. We have more players.
"Muk."
(Muk!)
(Team Jongmin will have to hike.)
- It's okay. / - It's all right.
Let's go to the cable car.
We still have one last match.
Only the fans are playing the game.
Why? Then only the fans go hiking.
I didn't play the game.
You should come with us.
- I was just kidding. / - Come with us.
I was just kidding.
We'll be waiting for you. See you in an hour.
(They finally get on the cable car.)
This is nice.
(They can see the whole city from there.)
This is so cool.
(It's always been nearby)
It looks nicer than I thought.
(that he forgot how beautiful Seoul was.)
You can see Dongdaemun there.
- Let's go. / - Will you be okay?
I'm okay.
(Speaking German)
What does it mean?
- "I love you." / - Correct.
- Do you know French too? / - French.
What was "ddurumong"?
- Pardon? / - "Ddurumong".
- "Ddurumong"? / - "Ddurumong"?
(Bonjour, tout le monde?)
It means, "Hello, everyone."
One of Koyote's songs
starts with that phrase.
(I see.)
(Chirping)
It's so
noisy.
- Cicadas. / - Cicada.
We don't have them in Germany.
There are no cicadas in Germany?
Really?
Do cicadas only exist in Korea?
(His breathing gets more and more ragged.)
- Are you all right? / - I'm fine.
- Let's walk slowly. / - You don't look fine.
- Slowly. / - Slowly.
- Do you want to sit down? / - No.
Let's keep walking.
(Every time they climb one step,)
(they sigh.)
Let's take a short break here.
(Iced water)
It's so hot.
Are you okay?
- I still have batteries. / - Batteries? Okay.
My battery is dead.
Do you like working out?
I usually do, but I haven't done much lately.
It gets harder as I get older.
- Right, Mike? / - Yes.
(He understands him.)
- Once you're in your 40s, it's hard. / - It's hard.
It gets harder every day.
- I'm doomed. / - Doomed?
(After recharging, they continue hiking.)
That was very convenient.
Is Jongmin coming this way?
(He found the hiking path Jongmin will come from.)
So this is where Jongmin will come from.
- Oh, my gosh. / - Oh, my gosh.
(It's pretty steep.)
We got so lucky.
It's nice here.
Oh, my.
It's beautiful. Let me take some pictures.
Come here.
We can bend like this.
Hold on.
(He's trying to find the best angle.)
- Look over here. / - Come here, hurry.
Okay.
(They're all ready to take a picture.)
Press it when you're ready.
One, two, three.
(Click)
(They make memories with the picture.)
(While Team Joonyoung makes memories...)
We can meet them soon over there.
- You're running. Are you okay? / - Yes.
I'm worried. Let's hurry.
Let's go to the top.
I'm worried somehow.
- How was it? / - It was nice.
It's just as hard as you think.
(Laughing)
(Gosh, I'm so tired.)
(The moon shows up in the sky.)
(People are here to see the sunset of Seoul.)
Do you fans remember
what episode they filmed here?
- Old pictures. / - Right.
- They filmed "Time Travel in Seoul" / - Cha Taehyun.
and "Tropical Night Special".
She knows that Taehyun was here.
She's right.
- This is amazing. / - How did they do that?
(Their memories with their families)
(touched our hearts on "Time Travel in Seoul".)
That's the same spot.
This place is full of memories with you.
You're going to do your second mission here.
Please give us an easy one.
What is that?
"Two Days and One Night Telepathy".
- Telepathy. / - What is "telepathy"?
A fan and a citizen will make a team.
The staff will say a word,
and they have to say the same thing.
Only fans play the game, and
all six of them have to succeed.
What? That's too hard.
Now you need to bring three people per team.
- Three people. / - Yes.
Now?
Is there anyone who would like to play?
(A child shows up.)
Do you know how to play?
(I just want to be on television.)
Are you a fan of Two Days and One Night?
- Yes. / - Hello.
You are my favorite celebrity.
Thank you so much.
Nice to meet you.
(He found lively citizens.)
- Come here. / - May I shake your hand?
- Me, too. / - Do you watch our show?
- Yes, I do. / - Of course.
- Guys. / - Really?
You play with us.
Okay. Let's go.
- Are you ready? / - Level 1.
Let's do this.
They're fans of our show, so they should know well.
You can do it.
"One Night". One, two, three.
- Two Days. / - Two Days.
- That's easy. / - It was an easy one.
Okay. So this is how you play.
(Next up is Mike.)
This should be doable.
Are you ready?
Here we go.
"Outdoor". One, two, three.
(How will it go?)
- Sleeping. / - Sleeping. Outdoor Sleeping.
- Did they get it? / - Yes.
