YouTube 'round here. okay so today's video is a little bit different. if you
came here for hair this video is not going to be that. this video is gonna
be a little bit weird for me only because I've never done this type of
video before even though I do enjoy watching this kind of video and this is
basically a haul. It's a haul of products - some of them I have used before some
of them are new to me but basically this is in the skincare realm and I just
wanted to share with you the things that I'm using or things that I intend on
trying because I do get questions about my skincare routine ever so often so if
you are interested in that, stay tuned. Grab some tea, grab some coffee, grab a
drink grab some wine sit down relax yourself and watch and enjoy okay thank
you. A lot of these products are from Marshalls which means that you can
probably find these at t.j.maxx and maybe even Burlington. this is kinda
sorta a Marshall's haul. that's just my disclaimer okay. For some of you who have
been following me on instagram you may or may not know that I love sheet masks
okay? I really got into them last year and they have helped my skin so much.
That's because they allow the nutrients to sit on your skin and really absorb
and it's just a little bit of relaxation you
get a nice radiance from a glow they help to clear up your blemishes, improve
the texture and tone of your skin I cannot sing their praises enough. And
this product here is one of my favorite affordable masks and that is the Jeju
Jeju natural volcanic mask for pore care and sebum control. You can actually find
these masks at Marshall's, TJ Maxx any one of those. I really find it helps to
balance my shine and my oil but it also leaves my skin nice and supple so this
is a restock and this box is $5.99 you get ten in here so I really love this
this is really a bargain usually you'll get five for around $3.99 or $4.99 on
the lower end so if you do go to Marshalls and see these and you have acne or
oily skin it's cheap enough to give it a try. So yeah check it out. Do any of you
out there love a sheet mask? Have you tried a sheet mask before? Tell me in the
comments what your favorite sheet mask is so that I can probably go out and get
it. The next product that I picked up at Marshalls
vitamin C energizing face mist from the body shop.
Now I scooped this up for $4.99 the cap was missing, I do not care. When I
worked at the body shop this was a product that I really loved
because you were able to get that burst of vitamin C. Vitamin C is an antioxidant
it's good for brightening your skin helping with blemishes so this face mist
is great for traveling especially you know if you're on long flights and air on
airplanes and buses even if you're taking a bus or the train, sometimes will
dry out the skin and this will help to remoisturize rehydrate the skin really
and you can even use this as a toner so if you are in the market for a
brightening face mist or toner you can definitely check this out like I said
$4.99 at Marshall's. The next product that I want to show you
is a vitamin C serum now I have never used this before but I was on the market
for some vitamin C products just to help with my blemishes even in my skin tone
and making my skin more radiant and for that transition between summer and fall
or summer into winter it's kind of challenging for me to pinpoint products
that work with my skin as the seasons change so this I'm gonna give a try and
see how this works. And it's supposed to stimulate collagen production and help
moisturize to minimize signs of aging it's at this point in my life where you
want to be proactive about anti-aging stuff when it comes to your skin and
like I said vitamin C is great for that and this one contains water, aloe
magnesium ascorbyl phosphate which would be your vitamin C, sodium hyaluronic
which is hyaluronic acid, some vitamin E and some other stuff so I will see if
this works and I'll let you know how I feel about it in the months ahead
the next product I'm gonna show you is this rose hip oil from Oliology. It
comes in a box but this one that I found there did not have a box on it
this is $5.99 also from Marshalls and this is also another collagen facial
treatment, the rosehip oil. Now if you are a skincare enthusiast you will probably
have heard already that rosehip oil gets rave reviews in the skincare community
in terms of helping blemishes helping keep the skin hydrated and moisturized
so I really wanted to give the oil a try. I have another rosehip product that I
really do love, a cream, and I am gonna show you that later in this video.
Have you tried rosehip oil? Let me know in the comments if you had and what your
results were. I spend a lot of time in the skincare aisle ar Marshall's and those
places because I'm reading ingredients to see what else is in there. There were
other brands of rosehip oil there, but a lot of them were
actual soya bean oil first and then they had rosehip included in that but this
is the 100% rosehip oil and I can get with that. I have really high hopes for
this rosehip oil so as the months go on again I will let you know how it works
for me. And speak of the devil, the other rosehip product that I want
to show you is also from Marshalls this was $6.99 is the Lanoline Rosehip Oil
Night Recovery Creme with lavender and evening primrose oil. Evening primrose
oil is something that I love for the skin it's also good for anti-aging.
Back in the day when I worked at The Body Shop
they had a Primrose mask. they discontinued that but I loved I loved it
and this is what it looks like and it definitely is a cream a little goes a
long way. I found that with using this it has spring water, sweet almond oil,
glycerin, rose hip oil, lavender oil, evening primrose oil, salicylic acid
which is great. It's paraben and mineral oil free. It
naturally helps restore the skin's elasticity and suppleness while
smoothing fine lines hydrate and rejuvenate your skin while you rest and
you just apply this at night to your face and your neck. This should be the last
thing that you put on. I love this. I don't use it every night but during the
winter when my face or parts of my face at least tend to skew to dryness
this comes in handy. It works wonders in terms of blemishes so if you ever see
this at Marshall's you should try it if you are in the market for something to
help with blemishes and help keep your skin hydrated at night and balance in
your skin. The next product that I got at Marshall's as well is a konjac sponge
this one is a French clay konjac facial sponge. Now, this one is 100%
natural vegetable fiber I've never I've never used a Konjac sponge before so I
don't know exactly what to expect. I don't know, I'm going to give this a try
and see I know they're the ones that with the charcoal in it. I did see one of
those our Marshalls but it was $4.99 or something like that.
this is $2.99 so I was like, "You know what? Let me get the cheaper one because I don't know if I'm gonna
like this and if I don't like this and it won't feel so bad that I only spent
$2.99 on it right?" This particular brand has a bunch
of different types of konjac sponge this is good for exfoliation and I guess if
the konjac is infused with these ingredients like the French clay, the
charcoal, the green tea, then you also supposedly get the benefits of that? I'm
not sure because my thing is over time those infusions will wash out the more
you wash your skin, right? You basically put the soap on your face or on the
sponge after wetting the sponge. So once you wet it it does that soft thing then
you just use it to exfoliate you can use it daily if you want it's up to you I
will probably try it a few times a week. Because I do use other forms of
exfoliation that are chemical, you know like peels and stuff like that, I
probably won't be using this on days before or after a peel. Yeah... maybe two
to three times a week probably or just at night time. I'll figure it out but
kind of excited to try it and hopefully I like it!
The next product that I got from Marshall's is a product that I get from
Marshalls all the time (not necessarily this fragrance), Facial wipes. and these
were in the clearance section for two dollars. I have another one I don't think
it's this brand but it's like melon [fragrance]. My reason for getting these is so that I
don't use baby wipes on my face because baby wipes dry my face out sometimes. If
you are ever at Marshall's t.j.maxx Burlington any of those places go to the
clearance section to see what they have and even if these aren't in clearance
they probably won't cost you more than $4, $5 the most. 60 wipes for $2 though???
Where can you beat that? Tell me. Where? Where? I'll wait! Y'all let me know. So guys
