Katie Price heads for a facial in Liverpool as she is spotted for the first time since Chris Hughes text row

KATIE Price has enjoyed some downtime after a stressful few weeks by heading to a Liverpool star and getting a facial.

The 38-year-old model has been touring the UK with her one-woman show, An Evening with Katie Price, and has become embroiled in a public feud with Chris Hughes from Love Island over claims that she was trying to flirt with him on Whatsapp.

Katie Price looked downcast despite her day out shopping in Liverpool.

The star was joined by her assistant and her son, Jett.

Kate took some time away in a fancy spa after a stressful week.

On top of this, she is currently in the middle of an 'are they/aren't they' split with her cheating hubby Kieran Hayler after he was caught cheating on her with the children's nanny.

Taking her son Jett along for the trip, Katie dropped by a beauty spa in Liverpool to get some R&R and enjoy some downtime among the chaos.

Afterwards, she was seen leaving the shop with bags of beauty products as the star carries on her bid to defy her age in any way possible.

The treatment comes just days after she shared a video of her having a "lunch hour facelift" online. The short clip showed her lying down with cotton wool over her eyes as a doctor cuts into her scalp.

Katie had the operation back in July and went public with her new look just five days after the surgery.

Katie pampered herself with a beauty treatment in Liverpool.

The star had a facelift earlier this year to look as youthful as possible. The "lunch hour" face lift took just 45 minutes and prices for the minimally invasive procedure start at just £500.

Katie revealed the results of her sillouhette facelift online and admitted she was thrilled with the results.

Yesterday night, Katie was seen scathing on Twitter when she appeared to discover that Chris Hughes, who she had previously flirted with on Loose Women, had blocked her over a texting row.

The star had a Crystal Clear H20 Glow facial at the fancy spa.

The treatment included a deep clean of her pores and a moisturising mask to keep her skin soft and supple.

Teasing there could be more to the story than meets the eye, Katie wrote: You think youre having fun & games then block me but just remember the truth always comes out. Im sitting back &.

Nate Boyer Is the Reason Colin Kaepernick Stopped Sitting During the National Anthem

Former Seattle Seahawks player Nate Boyer met with Colin Kaepernick last year, after Kaepernick decided to protest during the National Anthem before football games as an effort to stand up for oppression.

When the National Anthem was performed, Kaepernick refused to stand.

In fact, he started off by just sitting on the bench until it was over.

However, Kaepernick started taking a knee during the anthem — and Boyer is the reason why.

According to Snopes, Boyer, who is also an army veteran, wrote an open letter to Kaepernick that was published by the Army Times in August 2016.

In that letter, Boyer addressed Kaepernick's decision to protest.

"I'm not judging you for standing up for what you believe in.

It's your inalienable right.

What you are doing takes a lot of courage, and I'd be lying if I said I knew what it was like to walk around in your shoes.

I've never had to deal with prejudice because of the color of my skin, and for me to say I can relate to what you've gone through is as ignorant as someone who's never been in a combat zone telling me they understand what it's like to go to war.

Even though my initial reaction to your protest was one of anger, I'm trying to listen to what you're saying and why you're doing it…I look forward to the day you're inspired to once again stand during our national anthem.

I'll be standing right there next to you.".

After reading Boyer's open letter, Kaepernick decided to meet up with him.

During their meeting, the following photo was taken.

Boyer decided to share it on social media with his own message of hope.

"We sorta came to a middle ground where he would take a knee alongside his teammates.

Soldiers take a knee in front of a fallen brother's grave, you know, to show respect.

When we're on a patrol, you know, and we go into a security halt, we take a knee, and we pull security," Boyer told Bryant Gumbel during an interview for Real Sports, according to CBS News.
