Hi, I'm Elena Victoria, a Venezuelan artist who lives in Madrid.

And I have been invited to join

SILENCE AWARNESS EXCISTENCE.

An art residence program, created for the winter period at

ARTELES CREATIVE CENTER in Finland

Among 196 artists, I was one of those selected

for next January to work on the theme of silence

and create new pieces of art.

In order to attend and cover all the expenses that this adventure entails,

I need your help, that is why I have launched this campaign.

Kitezh is where?! 🤔 Play "Rise of the tomb raider"... again 🎮 - Duration: 3:13.

Do you guys play computer games? I started to play "Rise of the tomb raider" again. Love the series!

I think the game is amazing. Lara's got a bow, she can make different kinds of arrows, the plot is very interesting and Lara looks like a real person.

She goes to Siberia and looks for the city of Kitezh. And in some locations you can see posters in Russian.

And it is so great to see that at least someone spelled Russian words correctly.

Let me give you an example of the opposite.

This is a screenshot from "The Bourne supremacy". It's sais this dude's name is Foma Kiniaev

Have a look how they spelled his name in Russian.

But back to the game. I think it is really cool. I just don't get one thing. Why on earth does Lara Croft look for Kitezh in Siberia.

I am asking because it is not there!

According to the legend Kitezh is a city beneath the waters of the lake Svetloyar that is in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Let's have a look at the map.

This mountain range, the Ural Mountains, a boundary between the Europian and Asian parts of Russia

and Siberia extends eastwards from them.

This is where I live. And Nizhny Novgorod is here.

According to the legend during Golden Hordes under the leadership of Khan Baty Mongols were determined to capture the city.

Instead of fighting the citizens started to pray. In order to protect treasures and secrets of the city, God submerged it into the lake.

Kitezh is called "Russian Atlantis" and it is believed that only those who are pure of heart and soul are able to see and find it.

It's believed also that when the weather is calm you can actually hear church bells coming from the lake. Beautiful legend.

So lay the game. I don't believe that game are made only for children.

It was tomb raider series that moved me to explore the world because Lara looks for treasures, artifacts, secrets of ancient civilizations

and I find it really cool to delve into their cultural and historical heritage
