Should Christians celebrate Passover? It's time to UNLEARN the lies.

Hey, welcome to UNLEARN. My name is Lex, and I'd like to invite you to join us each week

If Yeshua is our Passover, are we still expected to celebrate the Passover or has it been done

away with? Listen to what Paul had to say about it.

"...For also Messiah our Pesach was slaughtered for us. So then let us celebrate the festival,

not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened

bread of sincerity and truth." - 1 Corinthians 5:7-8

Now, consider also that at the last Passover that Yeshua ate with His disciples, His instructions

were to do it in remembrance of Him.

"And He sent Kepha and Yoḥanan, saying, "Go and prepare the Pesach for us to eat."

And they said to Him, "Where do You wish us to prepare?" And He said to them, "See,

as you enter into the city, a man shall meet you carrying a jar of water. Follow him into

the house he enters. And you shall say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says

to you, Where is the guest room where I might eat the Pesach with My taught ones?"'

And he shall show you a large, furnished upper room. Prepare it there. And going they found

it as He had said to them, and they prepared the Pesach. And when the hour had come, He

sat down, and the twelve emissaries with Him. And He said to them, "With desire I have

desired to eat this Pesach with you before My suffering, for I say to you, I shall certainly

not eat of it again until it is filled in the reign of Elohim." And taking the cup,

giving thanks, He said, "Take this and divide it among yourselves, for I say to you, I shall

certainly not drink of the fruit of the vine until the reign of Elohim comes." And taking

bread, giving thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which

is given for you, do this in remembrance of Me." Likewise the cup also, after supper,

saying, "This cup is the renewed covenant in My blood which is shed for you."

Passover is a memorial, and a memorial is an annual event. Passover commemorates our

salvation from bondage. It's a reminder of the salvation of Israel from Egypt as well

as the salvation from sin through Yeshua. We are commanded in both the Old and New Testaments

to keep Passover as a memorial, to remember who saved us from our bondage.

"And this day shall become to you a remembrance. And you shall celebrate it as a festival to

Yahweh throughout your generations – celebrate it as a festival, an everlasting law."

- Exodus 12:14

Should Christians celebrate Passover? Absolutely. Passover is fundamental to Christian faith.

Yeshua is our Passover Lamb and we should keep the Feast in remembrance of His sacrifice.

Lawyers group to propose paid parental leave for men - Duration: 2:41.

A lawyers' association in Korea is pushing to make paid parental leave mandatory for

men.

There's already a parental leave law on the books in Korea, but hardly any men take advantage

of it.

The group is already working to garner support for the new legislation.

Kim Jung-soo takes a closer look.

The Korean Women Lawyers' Association is planning to propose a law making at least 60 days of

paid parental leave mandatory for men.

The association made the announcement at a symposium in Seoul on Monday.

"Childcare should be a right for both females and males.

We have evidence to believe that parental leave is not being used to its full effect

because of office politics and peer pressure.

"

The group hopes some of the leading presidentical candidates will take up their proposal, though

they admit the chances of the legislation actually passing are slim.

"The presidential election is coming up, so we are obviously looking to capitalize on

that.

We will make sure this movement doesn't fizz out like the usual campaign pledges."

Under Korean law, male employees are technically granted up to a year of unpaid parental leave

-- and employers can offer paid leave if they want.

But the practice is far from accepted as a social norm.

Of the 89-thousand-795 people in Korea who took parental leaves last year, only 8-point-5

percent were men.

Meanwhile, the lackluster use of parental leaves is not the only problem.

According to a report from the Korean Institute for Health and Social Affairs on Monday,...

the compensation for parental leave in Korea amounts to only 29 percent of the person's

income: This puts Korea in 19th place,... with countries

such as Chile, Austria and Germany taking the top spots.

The amount of paid parental leave guaranteed by the government in 2015 was 12-point-9 weeks,

on average,... or 90 days.

That's five weeks shorter than the 17-point-7 weeks on average granted by the 34 OECD member

nations.

Experts say that improvements in the country's parental leave policies could help lift Korea's

chronically low fertility rate.

The rate, which measures the number of children a woman will have in her lifetime, is 1-point-2-5,...

putting Korea at 220th out 224 nations.

"Korean law requires that employees apply for parental leave separately from maternity

or paternity leave.

But the Korean Women Lawyers' Association says it is proposing other legislation that

would combine the two applications into one.

BOSS DS -1 Distortion Pedal - Soundcheck and Review - Duration: 4:06.

The BOSS DS-1 is a widely used distortion pedal in many different types of music.

It's solid tone and reasonable price make it must have for both guitar players and studios.

Today we'll be going over some of the controls for the BOSS DS-1 and giving you an idea of

what it sounds like.

We'll be playing a Gibson Les Paul Studio running through a Behringer Ultra DI Pro.

The first knob on the left is the tone.

It acts similar to the tone knob on your guitar, controlling the brightness of the sound.

Next in the middle we'll find the level.

This controls the overall volume of the signal.

Finally, there is the distortion control which controls the overall amount of distortion

added to the guitar.

Before we go turning on the effect, we'll just play the guitar with the pedal bypassed

so you can hear the clean guitar tone.

So now we'll experiment with different settings on the pedal.

We'll start with the tone and distortion at 12 o'clock and the level turned up to

full.

As you can hear, this is a very powerful, and bright distortion effect.

It creates a fairly heavy distortion, but still allows the guitar to play through clearly.

Now we'll try pushing the distortion a little further.

We'll turn up the distortion knob and roll off the tone a little.

So this guitar is capable of some fairly heavy distortion, but the brightness makes it sound

very harsh as the distortion is increased.

Rolling off the tone tends to remove a lot of the high frequencies, but also reduces

the clarity of the guitar.

Low tone settings create a muffled muddy sound that just doesn't sound too appealing.

Small changes to the tone knob can have a drastic effect on the sound.

This makes the tone control very sensitive, but also gives a wide range of possibilities

of sounds that can be created.

Due to this harsh sound we experience when the distortion is turned up, I cannot recommend

this pedal to anyone looking to play metal songs.

Instead, this pedal is better suited for moderate levels of distortion.

Finally, we'll test out this pedal with a low amount of distortion to see how it performs

in this situation.

I've set the distortion nearly all the way down and the tone to about 1 o'clock.

Once again the level is turned all the way up.

The BOSS DS-1 distortion pedal is an excellent choice for any guitar player.

It's clear and bright distortion tone makes it ideal for a variety of music applications

and setups.

Prosecutors request arrest warrant for Park Geun-hye, warrant hearing on to be held Thursday - Duration: 2:11.

We begin with the latest developments in the corruption scandal centering around Korea's

ousted president Park Geun-hye...

State prosecutors are seeking an arrest warrant for Park.

Explaining their decision,... the prosecutors said they considered the weight of the case...

as well as concerns over the possible destruction of evidence due to Park's continual denial

of the charges against her.

Hwang Hojun starts us off.

After days of will they or won't they, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office

announced the bombshell news Monday morning that they will seek an arrest warrant for

the disgraced former President Park Geun-hye.

And in the afternoon, the Seoul Central District Court announced it will hold the warrant hearing

on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. Park was interrogated by prosecutors last

Tuesday, but has so far not been detained.

If she appears at her warrant hearing, she will be questioned in the presence of her

lawyer, but whether she will is still unclear.

Prosecutors said they requested the warrant for Park based on the severity of the charges

against her... and because there is a risk she could destroy evidence.

Park faces 13 charges -- eight of them filed by the prosecution and five by an independent

counsel.

They include bribery, abuse of authority and leaking state secrets.

Park has denied all the charges against her, even though many of her alleged accomplices

have either been arrested or jailed for their suspected involvement in the scandal that

led to her impeachment.

If the Seoul Central District Court issues a warrant, Park will become the country's

third former president to be arrested for criminal allegations following Roh Tae-woo

and Chun Doo-hwan.

She could face more than 10 years in jail if convicted of receiving bribes from conglomerates,

including Samsung.

As for when we'll know, in February, the court ruled on a warrant for Samsung Electronics

vice chairman Lee Jae-yong...

19 hours after his hearing.

So if the same holds true for Park's warrant hearing, we could expect the court to rule

by early Friday morning.

And if Park is arrested, the prosecutors will have up to 20 days to continue their investigation

and file formal charges against her.

So, I actually got the question about something called „Payability" the other day.

Payability is a service.

Essentially instead of getting a payout every 14 days which is amazon standard, they essentially

send you the money ahead of time so for instance, today, let's say I made $5000 into my amazon

account, and they pay me that $5000 today, and tomorrow when I make $3000 they pay that to me tomorrow

So, I get payouts every single day, instead of having to waiting 14 days to the end of amazon

pay period.

Now, there are a few things about this site I'm going to go over.

First, you have to have a 90 days sales history on amazon, and that's essentially what they

doing, they'll look at your sales history, and they establish that you are selling every

single month and that your account is in good standings.

And then they will start giving you these loans.

What they are really is loans against your money on amazon account.

Now I've looked at this, and I am unable to actually to find out what happens if your

account get's suspended, or somehow they don't get their payment on time.

But just from the initial feel of this site, and what you actually get it's going to

be very, very expensive money to borrow.

So, let's go over here on your instant access price estimator , and I want to use an easy

number, so I'm going to click over here to $100.000 as your monthly payout, and your

fee is going to be $2.000 for a $100,000 monthly payout, so that means that you are paying

2% on the money that you are receiving.

Now, your payout cycle is every 14 days, so that means that your 2% is not going to be

2% per month, it's actually going to be 2% per 14 days, but whenever we look closer

we notice that they advancing you your money every single day so the 1st day advance money

is on 14 day loan, and the last day they advance you money is on the 14th day is 0 day loan, so whenever

you actually average out every single day, you actually end up with a 7 day loan.

They essentially on average loaning you money for 7 days, and they are charging you 2% for

that 7-day cash loan.

So I actually love the idea of payability, but whenever I look the numbers, it seems

it is a huge cost to an average buyer.

And I'm coming at that just by the number they are giving us.

If your payouts are $100.000, they are charging you 2% on that 100.000, from what I can read,

so that means you are paying $2.000 if you generate $100.000 in revenue.

And what that really means is on average trough out the month you are actually only borrowing

$25.000 for the entire month, so just to put that in numbers for you, in math for you.

So, I'm just gonna go to a google spreadsheet, and I will explain it simply to you.

The first day that you are borrowing your pay period, let's just say you borrow 5.000,

and the next day you borrow 5.000, and we go out to 14 days.

Day 1, they only loaning you 5.000, 2, 10.000, 3, 15000, and then on average you gonna have

a loan out of $25.000 and they are charging you $2.000 to borrow $25.000 for the week,

so that is where numbers don't add up to me, it's actually going to cost you 8% of

your actual, of what you are actually holding their money at any one given time.

So, 8% per month, you multiple that by 12 and we are talking of 96% of interest rate

per year on your money, and it's your money anyways, you are going to get paid for it.

It's a pretty secure loan because they know that amazon is going to pay them, or facebook,

or whatever is that you work with.

They actually work with a bunch of different companies.

So, they are pretty secure that they are going to be paid, but they are charging you a lot.

If you actually took a loan of $50.000 at an 18% rate per year.

We are talking about $750 in charges on a $50.000 loan that you can take out.

I guess that benefit of payability is that if you can not qualify for one of these loans,

even at high-interest rate of 18%, would be better, would be actually less than half of

what a company like payability is charging you, you are actually better off with 18%

loan, than you are with this payability loan.

So, I would take that into the count before I go out with any of these companies.

You have to actually break it down week by week, and figure out what an actual interest

rate is on your money and this thing is just so expensive that I cannot get behind anyone

singing out for it unless you are really hurrying, even if that is the case, you have to remember

that if amazon suspends you and then don't get paid, I'm sure that there is a whole

bunch of things that you are going to have to look into on what happens when they don't

get paid on time, when payability doesn't get paid on time.
