How To Maintain A Lawn Mower - D.I.Y. At Bunnings - Duration: 2:51.

Leighton: I'm going to show you how to maintain your lawn mower.

If you're anything like me, you leave it until the last minute, but it's not that hard to

do.

And these are some of the tools you'll need to do the job.

I've got a couple of cloths, my safety gloves, some clamps, socket set, couple of brushes

for cleaning things out, some WD-40, oil, and some petrol to top it all up.

The first thing to do is to disconnect the spark plug and make sure that the lawn mower

is in the Off position.

The mower is safe to work on now.

The first thing I'll do is give it a bit of a clean to get rid of the dirt and the grass

buildup from last season.

Maintenance of the mower should be done when the engine is cold.

Parts of the mower can get really hot when it's been worked and are quite dangerous.

Apply some lubricant to the wheels, the end of the throttle cable, and the height adjuster,

and use a rag to wipe off any excess lubricant.

With a four-stroke, it's worth checking the spark plug, but with a two-stroke, changing

the spark plug can give it a new lease of life.

Just check that the spark plug is clean, and if it's not, give it a bit of a brush with

a wire brush.

When replacing your spark plug, be careful not to cross-thread it.

Tighten it with your fingers, and then when you get to the end, use the socket but be

careful not to over-tighten it.

It's a good idea to check your air filter for dirt and grime.

If it's not too bad, you can give it a tap and a brush, but if it is bad, replace it.

When removing parts from your lawn mower, it pays to have a really good look so you

know how to put it back together.

Give the catcher a clean.

Let's have a look.

If it's really bad, give it a hose-out.

This one's not too bad.

I'm just going to brush it out.

It's not a great idea to tune your lawn mower upside down, so I'm going to tip it backwards

so we can check underneath.

It's a good idea to remove grass from underneath your mower.

It's particularly important if you have a steel mower, as a buildup of grass underneath

can cause rust.

Inspect the blades for dings and damage.

Sharp blades assist in giving you a good cut and keep the lawn healthy.

Check the oil on a four-stroke mower because the oil is separate to the fuel.

To check the oil, remove the cap and check the level on the dipstick.

There'll be a little mark that tells you whether there is enough or not.

Check the oil if it's dark and dirty.

If it's dark and dirty, it might be time to replace it.

Mine's just a little bit low, so I'm just going to top it up.

It's a good idea to top up with fuel just before you use your mower.

That way it doesn't go stale.

There's a few tips on maintaining your lawn mower.

It's quite easy to do and should extend the life of your mower, and look after your lawn.

hi everyone, I am Ejen Han.

I am here on my vacation on an island

far away from home

but my heart is still back at home

Why is it so because there is a lot of changes

in policy in pertaining closely in March 2017

and also the additional grants that have been

granted to most Singaporeans first timer grants

which is up to $110k if you are eligible.

So how can this help the market especially

in particularly for HDB property.

It will help a lot for First Timer buyers

who have been wanting to owned a property

or has been trying their very best to get

a BTO or Sales Of balance Flat but they are

unable to and yet they want to stay near parent,

close to their parents.

This will be a good oppurtunities for them

to make use of all the grants to lower down

the loans and obtain a property to call your own home.

So I urged you to take actions today because

these buyer's market have seen towards the

end and if you do not take the actions today.

Acting president Hwang Kyo-ahn urges reforms, job creation for growth - Duration: 0:44.

South Korea's acting president Hwang Kyo-ahn is urging the government to come up with new

measures to revive the economy.

At a regular cabinet meeting on Tuesday,... Hwang called for an overhaul of the flagging

shipbuilding industry, citing the restructuring plan announced last week to improve Korea's

economic fundamentals.

He also called for all-out efforts to counter the chronically-low birthrate,... saying a

dropping and aging population erodes growth potential.

Citing the recent rate hike by the U.S. Federal Reserve... he added that quality job creation

is a must to resolve the ballooning household debt issue.

Hwang said the public's ability to pay its debts must first be enhanced - along with

the government's policies to support them.

Tools For Hope farmers after receiving irrigation equipment - Duration: 8:41.

My name is Uwamahoro Sarah

I live in Kanzenze District, Nyamabuye Village, in the Ntarama Sector.

Are you also a member of the Twisungane Group?

Yes, I am a member. I am married with 3 children.

Sara, so what do you think of today's activities?

I am very happy

Before this, the only way we could water our fields using watering cans which was very hard

I am very happy, this is something I had been waiting for, for a long time.

We are now going to be able to plant so much more. Everything we could not water manually.

Now that we have irrigation equipment we are going to be able to farm all our land.

What kinds of activities do you think you are going to pursue now that you have irrigation equipment?

I can see that most of your land was not farmed due to the hot temperatures, even thought you live near a water source

What we are going do now is plant Green peppers and Eggplants. Our tomatoes are almost ready for the market

We have planted 6 more Acres, next time you come to visit us we will give you some free tomatoes.

Thank you Sarah

My name is Nsanzibere Jean DeLacroix

I live in Kanzenze District, Nyamabuye Village, in the Ntarama Sector and I am a member of Twisungane

We came here today to accept the assistance that we have been given.

We are very happy and this is all truly amazing.

We were spending so much energy trying to keep our crops from drying up.

Now that we can irrigate out farms, we are going to expand all our activities.

We are going to be able to go from 6 Acres to 12 or 18 Acres of farming.

Before we could only grow 3 types of vegetables but

We are now going to grow enough vegetables to feed our families and also have more to sell and lift ourselves out of poverty.

For our group and as a Country, this will help us to continue the fight against poverty and improve our lives.

My name is Masumbuko Jean Pierre

I live in Kanzenze District, Nyamabuye Village, in the Ntarama Sector.

Jean Pierre, what are your thoughts on today's activities and how are going to use the new equipment?

To be honest, I am overjoyed

We had been struggling for so long but now our hard work will pay off and we can begin to create wealth.

Before, when we had a crop that took 3 months to grow

For each one of those days we would be out watering our crop all day to avoid losing it

In the morning and in the evening

Sometimes even that much would not be enough

Even that wasn't always enough because we still lost a lot of plants because they did not get enough water

But today, we are overjoyed.

We are very happy about getting this new equipment

For example you can see all these plans which had already died

And over there, those are very weak

But today is a day of celebration

We are going to water this area and revive all our tomatoes

We will revive some and plant new ones after that. We are very excited and can't wait to see the outcome

My name is Nyirandimubanzi Claudine

I live in Kanzenze District, Nyamabuye Village, in the Ntarama Sector.

This is one of our vegertable farms

We have a few more of these farms nearby

Work is difficult because we do not have all the tools we need

We use hand tools

Today, we are very happy and excited because this equipment will help us work without as much toil

This is such a wonderful act, we are very grateful for everything you have done

We don't have to work as hard watering out plants by hand

What do you hope to achieve in the next 5 to 6 months

Now we are going to expand all our farming activities

We are not going to run out of seeds again because

During the dry season we used to run out of seed and stop farming. Now that we have water, we are going to be able to continue farming

We are going to plant all the vegetables that we need to feed our community

Thank you Claudine

This is Ndayambajimana Samuel, Leader of Twisungane Farming group. He is going to tell us how he feels about today's activities

Thank you very much

If I could speak from the heart I would laugh all day long. I don't know how to explain it.

We have been waiting for this day for a long time

From many people

But God brought you to us

I would like to thank you for everything you have done for us

Everyone who is here, please give them a round of applause. Our hearts overflow

As you said, I am the leader of this group

We came together so we can support each other

With ideas

At first people thought we were silly but

We found working together to be best for us.

So we can help develop our community

I would like to thank all our members for their comments and I thank you all again

We are going to work hard

You are here all the time

You know that we like to work together and how hard we work

The market that never had enough vegetables before is not going to have a surplus of produce

Even though it's the dry season, we are going to irrigate our farms and have an abundance

This equipment looks incredible, I can't believe it

We are going to irrigate our farms and continue to farm and work hard.

We are not going to have to stop farming

Like they said, The watering was really wearing us down

Even with all that work, as you can see, we were still losing a lot of our crops

Thank you again, May God Bless you

Please continue to work with us and support us

I don't have anything else to say besides Thank you, Thank you

You know that we like to work together and how hard we work

Um, I wonder if you could

Hurry up and install me on your PC

Is something wrong?

You've been staring at the package forever

I'm gonna

Miku-Miku you

And push myself to sing better

I'm gonna Miku-Miku you

So you'd better get ready

I'll Miku-Miku you, for reals

I'll do my best to the very end

I'll Miku-Miku you, for reals

So why don't you relax a little

I'm gonna Miku-Miku you

I'll make you more

Miku-Miku than anyone else in the world♪

So please, give me more to sing
