and Number 2 won't be left behind

Number 3 wins

The cold never bothered him anyway

Number 3, Number 3, Number 3

Congratulations, Number 3 How do you feel?

Uh, pretty chilly, Tom It's freezing out here

Hahaha

I meant, how do you feel, on the inside?

Oh…in that case, kind of hungry

I haven't eaten since before the race

I think I'm going to find some warm soup, so I don't feel so chilly and hungry

That is one literal driver

Introverts and Friendships - Duration: 4:37.

Hello my friends! Kaitlyn here! And have ever had trouble making or keeping friends?

Do you blame it on your introversion?

Let's talk about it!

(INTRO MUSIC)

Being an introvert and making friends, for me at least, has always been a little difficult.

Now it's combination of my introversion (because I enjoy being alone and doing things

alone that others might enjoy doing with friends) and my social anxiety (I don't know how

to act like a normal human in front of other humans most of the time) and my shyness (I

generally don't think people want to interact with me so I don't initiate social interactions ).

And I've got a video that talks about the differences between those 3 more in depth

if you want to know or if you just need a refresher.

So those 3 things combine to give me a unique friendship experience, but there are some

things I've learned over the years being an introvert and trying to make friends that I thought I'd share with you.

First, there's being "adopted" by an extrovert.

I think introverts have different opinions on this, but some of the ways that I've

been forced out, encouraged out of my comfort zone and my little box is by having

extroverts find me and like me and initiate a friendship with me.

I don't ask people to hang out. Very rarely do I do that.

I want to do fun things with people.

But I feel very self-conscious asking.

And a little bit comes from the feeling that if I make the plans then I can't just decide at the last minute,

like "Hey I'm feeling really socially drained and I just can't do this right now."

Which is very common thing for me to do.

Self-care, man!

But having a few extroverted friends, especially ones that know upfront that I'm an introvert

and can't go 100% for long periods of time, means that they get me out of my books

and my art and into the world to experience new things.

Now I know that some introverts are pretty bitter about extroverts. I was for a long time!

But then I started to see how their differences and when they understood mine as well could make my

life more vibrant and fun and filled with new experiences!

I will say though that it does takes time to find the right extroverts to be friends with.

But, I mean, like with anything.

Everything takes time.

There are going to be people--extrovert or not--who don't respect boundaries or your

need for alone time or self-care and really the best thing to do is just try to figure those people out quickly and then back away!

Second, is introvert on introvert friendship.

I love these kinds of friendships.

Although they can be harder to make sometimes.

Either because many introverts try to pretend to be the "perfect

friend" and really sociable and like up for anything and so you don't realize you

could have this friendship with them.

Or because many introverts just don't get outside of their bubble enough to find another

introvert who they fit with.

BUT this is kind of friendship that I established with Parker before we started dating and it is so important!

What's really beautiful about this is that you can get to point of comfort where you

can spend long periods of time with this person doing your introverted thing and they're

doing their introverted thing.

And essentially, you're spending time with another human being without it draining you.

When I first experienced this, it was life-changing!

I think what many people and really introverts ourselves get wrong about introverts is that

we don't want to or need to be around people.

I mean, humans are social creatures.

And though the kind of interactions we desire can vary from person to person, we still all want to

have meaningful interactions with others!

Not just our cats!

So I hope if you're an introvert struggling to make friends or an extrovert baffled by

someone who you think is cool and you want to be friends with but they seem to be elusive

that you find some hope and insight in this!

Making friends can be hard whether you're an introvert or extrovert! Bleh!

Trust me, it's taken me years and I am still no where near being a master of making friends.

But I have found people that I genuinely find interesting and that I deeply care about and

that I feel comfortable with.

And to me that's what's important. So yay!

Now I want to know what you guys think!

Do you have any interesting friendship stories?

Or do you have more questions about friend-making?

Tell me down in the comments!

Plus remember to like, favorite, share, and subscribe if this video made you smile!

See you guys on Thursday!

Firmino in doubt for Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Paraguay

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino could miss Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Paraguay

here on Monday due to illness.

The 25-year-old missed the team's final training session at the Corinthians sports center on

Monday after suffering flu-like symptoms, Brazil team officials said.

He was replaced in the first-team's training exercises by 31-year-old Sport Recife attacker

Diego Souza.

Brazil are already without Daniel Alves for the clash at Corinthians Arena after the Juventus

full-back was suspended for picking up a second yellow card in the Selecao's 4-1 victory over

Uruguay last Thursday.

Sevilla's Mariano is expected to take Alves' place in the starting lineup.

Brazil currently lead the South American zone World Cup qualifying standings with 30 points

from 13 matches, seven points ahead of second-placed Uruguay.

Paraguay are seventh with 18 points, three points shy of the automatic qualifying places

with five matches remaining.

Texas Criminal Lawyer | What is the Timeline for a Texas Tech Code of Conduct | Stephen Hamilton - Duration: 4:14.

Hello, I'm Stephen Hamilton,

Board Certified Criminal Defense Attorney

practicing in Lubbock, TX.

And I'm here to talk to you today about what you should do first

as a Texas Tech student

if you're accused of a DWI,

Possession of Marijuana, or any other criminal charge.

Whether you're on campus or off,

your rights remain the same and you can invoke these rights at any time

no matter what anybody else tells you.

You have certain rights. Those rights include the absolute Right to Remain Silent,

the Right to Refuse to Consent to a Search or a Seizure,

and to be represented by a competent attorney

who knows what he or she is doing.

All three of these apply on campus

as well as off campus.

In most cases,

it's those students who remain silent

when confronted by the administration

and refuse to confess that they have violated a Student Code of Conduct

that successfully avoid getting kicked out of school.

A confession will not only score academic and social sanctions against you on campus,

it will also be used against you in any criminal case.

When you are a student at Texas Tech and you get into trouble with the law,

you face 2 separate cases:

one on campus and one in a real court room.

The on-campus case is the Student Code of Conduct Process.

It affects your school records

it incurs academic and social sanctions such as being kicked out of your campus housing,

suspended or expelled.

The off-campus case is a Criminal Case

and addresses the charges brought against you by the State of Texas.

It doesn't just mean getting kicked off the team, it can land you in jail.

You could find yourself serving a jail time sentence,

with fines, community service,

and a criminal record on top of getting kicked out of school.

Game Over.

If you are Texas Tech Student and you have been accused of a DWI,

or any other criminal charge,

call me immediately at 806-794-0394.

Additionally, click on the link above to download a free copy of my book,

a must-have guide that easily lays out how each possible violation

will affect you and shows you the best way to prepare for it.

Get informed and be prepared.

And remember. Always.

Small Space Solutions for Kitchens and Living Rooms - Duration: 6:29.

Small Space Solutions for Kitchens and Living Rooms.

Number 1, Loft Living.

Online lifestyle editor, Briana and mobile developer, Buzz, fully maximized every inch

of their 700-square-foot, Brooklyn, loft thanks to great space planning and smart, space-saving

solutions.

Number 2, Looks Can Be Deceiving.

Although the tight living room of Briana and Buzz's Brooklyn, loft only has 10-by-12-feet

of useable space, it seems open, airy and spacious thanks to a great space plan, and

a plethora of space saving solutions, some simply practical, others decorative.

Number 3, Keep It Grounded.

Starting with an apartment-sized, three-seater sofa centered on the left-hand wall, Briana

and Buzz arranged the space around it to maximize the flow of their loft's living room.

They took focus off of the room's lack of space, by grounding the area with an oversized

area rug featuring a bold, graphic print.

Number 4, All Eyes on Blue.

Briana and Buzz decided to keep the majority of their living room's walls white, to help

bounce light around the room and create an open, airy aesthetic.

The couple relied on color, however, to delineate the seating area, painting the wall behind

their sofa, in a cool robin's egg blue tone.

Number 5, Book Storage with Style.

While the obvious choice for book storage is often a bookcase or a bookshelf, the couple

sought other solutions for keeping their favorite titles within arm's reach.

Number 6, Easy Eames Rocker.

In rooms where space is at a premium, it's wise to choose lightweight accent furniture

pieces, that are both comfortable and easy to move around.

Briana and Buzz ensure, comfortable seating for their guests with a classic modern Eames

rocker made of molded plastic.

Number 7, Dual-Purpose Pitcher.

Another key element in the success of Briana and Buzz's small loft design is, their ability

to use a single object in many different ways.

With kitchen storage limited, Briana saved space by forgoing vases, and instead making

use of serving pitchers to house floral arrangements.

Number 8, An Unusual End Table.

One of Buzz's favorite pieces in the loft is, his fully stocked bar, complete with his

collection of wine, spirits and barware.

Focused on saving space, and maximizing the square footage of their living room lounge

area, the bar serves double duty as one of the sofa's end tables.

Number 9, A Media Center That Hides Mess.

Although Briana and Buzz watch videos mostly on their laptops, they also enjoy watching

live TV.

To ensure their growing collection of DVDs and media components, don't turn into clutter,

they keep everything concealed neatly inside a mid-century modern console with sliding

doors.

Number 10, Under the Stairs, Before.

Before embarking on their space-saving design projects, the area beneath Briana and Buzz's

staircase was inefficiently used to house their bar.

Now the bar serves double duty as an end table next to the sofa.

Number 11, Under the Stairs, After.

Briana and Buzz have flexible schedules, that allow them both to work from home when necessary.

Although Buzz has his own designated workspace upstairs, Briana often found she had few options

for working on her laptop, often feeling confined to the sofa.

Number 12, Hidden with a Hinge.

As an alternative to a basic desk for her personal workspace, Briana had a local contractor

build a floating, three-sided box with a hinged door front.

The piece works perfectly as a desk, gives the illusion of more space and also allows

the area beneath the desk to remain unobstructed for chairs or stools.

Number 13, Pin-terests.

To eliminate clutter, Briana had the wall beneath her stairs completely covered with

a roll of cork, onto which she pins all of her important invitations, tear sheets, trinkets

and reminders.

Number 14, Stackable Seating.

Determined to save as much space in her small Brooklyn loft as possible, Briana chose red,

powder-coated, stackable chairs as seating for her workstation and to provide addition

seating for guests, as needed.

When not in use, she can simply stack the chairs against the wall or store them in her

closet.

Number 15, Floating Photography.

In his spare time, Buzz dabbles in photography.

To turn one of his creations into the artistic centerpiece of the living room, the couple

had his work printed on canvas and displayed in a floating frame.

To create this look, a small recessed gap is, left between the art and the actual frame,

creating the illusion that the featured work is actually floating in the air.

Number 16, Space-Saving Kitchen Storage.

To take advantage of every inch inside her kitchen cabinets, Briana ditches bulky boxes

and bags, and instead stores food in airtight, stackable plastic containers.

Number 17, Think Vertically.

Thanks to a button that creates an airtight seal and a perfectly flat lid, each container

can be stacked neatly and securely.

This takes full advantage of vertical space in tight quarters such as kitchen cabinets.

Number 18, Tons of Tins.

Briana uses decorative tin containers to keep many of her daily must-haves, from tea bags

and sugar to toothpicks and salt, within arm's reach.

By using these containers, instead of assorted bottles and boxes, Briana benefits from a

burst of color and graphic pattern that also keeps clutter at bay.

Number 19, See Clearly.

For seating at the kitchen counter, Briana selected clear acrylic stools, a great choice

for her loft, because the clear acrylic doesn't take up visual space.

That's all about Small Space Solutions for Kitchens and Living Rooms, thank you for watching

and hopefully you like it.

Flowering Bulbs for Bees - Duration: 1:57.

Hi, I'm Christy Wilhelmi from Gardenerd and you're watching one of the videos that's contributing

toward the Honeylove Plants for Pollinators Series.

We've been sharing a lot of information about what to grow for bees and other great pollinators

and this week we're talking about flowering bulbs for bees.

Bulbs are one of the first plants that actually jumps up and flowers in the spring.

And some even poke through the snow, giving bees some food to eat even earlier than regular

flowers.

Some of my favorite flowering bulbs include things like crocus, which is one of those

bulbs that jumps up through the snow.

Also daffodils, agapanthus, all kinds of alliums, iris, muscari, hyacinth, cyclamen and bluebells.

You can buy bulbs either on line, from seed catalogs, from your local nursery and even

from big box stores like Costco, believe it or not.

They have a pretty good selection actually.

So planting bulbs is pretty easy.

You follow the package directions.

You dig a hole, depending on the depth that the plant needs to be, add a little bit of

organic fertilizer that's specific for bulbs.

It's usually higher in phosphorus and potassium, which are the two nutrients that make flowers

bloom and grow big and strong.

Mix a little bit of that in at the bottom of the planting hole, throw in you bulbs,

cover them up, and that's basically it.

You can plant most bulbs in the fall before the ground freezes over, so plant some bulbs

this fall and give bees and other pollinators something great to eat this spring.

If you like this video, share it with your friends, and don't forget to subscribe to

Gardenerd and Honeylove where you'll learn everything you need to know about bees and

growing food for them and you.

Transit Refueling | Ford How-To | Ford - Duration: 1:13.

[MUSIC]

Your transit's fuel door is conveniently located inside the driver's door for

quick and easy fill ups.

To open the fuel filler door, the driver's door must be open.

Once it is, place your finger under the filler door tab and pull.

You'll notice it has the Easy Fuel capless fuel filler, so

there's no cap to twist off.

Just insert the fuel pump nozzle all they way,

making sure it passes through both spring-loaded flaps, then fill up.

Once it's stopped filling, wait about ten seconds before removing the nozzle,

to allow any residual to drain out.

Remove the nozzle and close the fuel door.

If equipped with a diesel engine, the lower door is available for

adding diesel exhaust fluid only.

And one more thing.

To help protect against fuel theft, splashing, or

water getting in the tank, the capless fuel filler is tamper resistant.

And the self closing spring-loaded flaps help keep fuel from sloshing out and

water from leaking in when it rains or when you wash your vehicle.
