Waching daily Mar 27 2017

Hi there guys I am Nikhil from Greedytech, and this is the in depth comparison between

Lenovo P2 and Moto g5 plus

I am really sorry for the delay, I planned to do it earlier, but one thing after another

came up With apologies out of the way, let's get started

Both the phones Lenovo P2 and G5 plus , are actually Lenovo's products, and have the same

after sale support, So you can stick out the brand difference

between them

Moto G5 plus is available in 2 variants in India

One with 3gb ram and 16gb internal storage sold at 14999

And another variant with 4gb ram and 32gb internal storage sold at 16999

Lenovo P2 is also available in 2 variants ,

One with 3gb ram and 32gb internal storage sold at 16999

And another variant with 4gb ram and 32gb internal storage sold at 17999

Both are available in different colors And sold exclusively on flipkart.com in India

Design

Both the phones have a very similar design and build with metal back, plastic strips

at the top and bottom for cantinas And a multifunctional finger print scanner

on the front

P2 has an old boring design of flat strips and a regular camera design on the back

G5 plus has curved plastic strips, with a circular camera module,

It's not awesome, but I'll take anything that's new and different

In terms of design, Both the phones have their own pros and cons

P2 has a 2.5d curved glass, and yes that looks awesome and feels awesome to use

But if you know me, I am always worried about breaking phones

And because of this pretty 2.5d curved glass, I can't find a good tempered glass

I have tried like 3 so far, and all of them look ugly

That's the only con on P2

G5 plus, as a flat display, so no problem finding a tempered glass for it

But it has this useless camera bump

Build both are solidly build, both the phones have

corning gorilla glass 3 on the top I didn't notice any flaws with them

P2 has a bigger screen and a bigger battery , so it is a little heavy and bigger than

g5 plus,

On the whole in terms of design and build, they are evenly matched so you can choose

the best one itself

If I had to pick a winner, I'll pick G5 plus because of the small form factor and new design

Hardware

Both the phones have dual Sim support But G5 plus has a dedicate sd card slot, so

you can use 2 nano Sims and sd card all at once

P2 has a hybrid Sim slot So you can either use 2 nano Sims or a nano

Sim and sd card Not 3 at once

Both the phones have the same list of hardware specs, with a few exceptions

Both the phones have all the basic sensors including gyroscope, and an addition NFC for

wireless payments But G5 plus is missing compass

based on the latest reports, G5 plus has a led notification light, but it is not enabled,

and so far I couldn't find any option to use it

As an alternative we have moto display and rise to wake feature,

The display wakes up every time you get a notification and when you pick it up

Lack of compass will only effect you , if you use offline maps to navigate, if you are

on mobile data, it can be managed

Now coming to the finger print scanner

P2 has a button on the front which acts like a finger print scanner and a physical home

button You can touch to go back, touch and hold for

recent apps Press to go home and press and hold for google

now

G5 plus also has a very similar one key navigation setup

, but it's not a physical button It acts like a finger print scanner

Touch to go home, Swipe left to go back

Swipe right for recent apps Touch and hold it until it vibrates to sleep

And touch and hold it longer for good assistant

As a far as finger print scanner is concerned, both are fast and accurate

If you don't like to use gestures, you can use on screen buttons on both the phones

P2 also has an additional button on the left called one key power saver

It is an awesome power saving mode, that gives you basic features like calls and message

, and improves the battery life a lot This is really a life saver

In the hardware round ill pick P2 as the winner, because of addition hardware like compass

and notification led, one key power saver and most importantly a better implementation

of finger print gestures

Display This is again, a place where you have to pick

the winner, based on your preference

If we just talk about the display Then P2 is definitely the winner

It has a 5.5inc super ahold display, and you can easily notice the difference

colors on P2 look more punchy, and makes me want to cry

It's simply that beautiful Yes I am a sucker for Amoled screens

G5 plus has a 5.2inch IPS display And it's definitely one of the best displays

in its price rage

Now coming to the deciding factor P2 has a bigger screen and in my opinion,

it will be good for media consumptions, playing games, watching moving, and even the phones

you take will look awesome G5 plus has a smaller screen , so it will

be great for single handed usage Now I have big hands, and I use P2 single

handed most of the time, so for me, P2 is the winner,

Camera This is a round where G5 plus wins without

arguments It's simply better at everything

Both the front and rear cameras are wide angle G5 produces slightly saturated colors, with

deeper colors And better sharpness

It obviously has faster focusing speeds due to the dual auto focus pixels

Even in low light G5 plus out performs P2 If selfies are a priority, G5 plus nails it

with wider selfies G5 plus is better the P2,

But P2 is also decent, considering other specs Both the phones can record in 4k using rear

camera and fad video using front camera

Performance Both the phones come with snapdragon 625 processor

And they offer the same level of performance These are the benchmark scores

Both the phones are very well optimized, and they are very responsive

There Is not heating issues while playing games or doing anything

Both get warm, like any other android phone, nothing to panic about it

For the most part it's a tie in performance round,

But If gaming is your priority, P2 will deliver a much better gaming experience because of

the bigger Amoled screen, bigger battery and louder speaker

Now for some final tips Both the phones support adaptive storage,

so you can manage with 16gb variant of g5 plus and 32gb variant of P2 , by installing

and move apps to sd card

As of now, memory management on g5 plus isn't very good

You can check my speed tests for more info But it will improve over time, so don't

worry about it

Software This is another round which is pretty much

a tie

G5 plus comes with android 7.0 nougat out of the box and it will get the next version

of android , O for sure As of now, it has the regular moto gestures,

like chop to toggle flash And Split screen mode from Nougat

P2 comes with a skinned ui called Pure UI, on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the

box, and it will get Nougat in April based on the latest reports

It offers lot of software features, like night mode, secure zone, vr mode and literally many

more along with being very close to stock android

It's ui as responsive and smooth as G5 plus

If you love stock android and want more software features, P2 got you covered

If you are a hardcore vanilla android fan G5 plus is the winner for you

I'll pick P2 as the winner, as I want more software features

Audio In the audio department, there isn't anything

impressive about both the phones

Both do a standard job, on a headset, With p2 being slightly louder

Even in terms of speaker loudness P2 is very loud when compared to G5 plus

G5 plus has the speaker on the front, just like with g4 plus, but it's not loud

Battery In the battery department, you know who's

the winner Yes it's P2

But There are 3 reasons for that 1 P2 has a bigger 5000 mah battery

And obviously it will have better battery life

It can last you 2 or 3 days easily on normal usage

You get around 8-12 hours of screen on time 2 it supports fast charging and comes with

a 24watts power adapter It can charge the phone completely in 90 minutes

3rd and the most important reason for me, is the ultimate power saving mode that I told

you earlier

Now g5 plus, has a 3000mah battery, Comes with 14wattsxxxxx turbo charger

It too takes around 90minutes to charge the phone completely

You get around 3-5 hours of screen on time, and can last you a day of usage

Conclusion

For most part, Both the phones are equally matched

Like in terms of performance, a very smooth and responsive android experience

Apart from that G5 plus offers you better cameras, latest

updates for 1 year and most importantly a dedicated sd card slot

So if you want all of those things, get G5 plus

P2 offers you better and bigger display, more software features, bigger battery

so if you want a media centric phone , get P2

In my opinion apart from the cameras, P2 is better than g5 plus in many aspects

So If you are willing to sacrifice a little in the camera department, go with p2

I don't take a lot of pictures, so I will pick P2 over G5 plus

I will miss the dedicated sd card slot, but with Jios free internet out of the way, I'll

be back to using single Sim on my phone

As of now, under 20000rs, P2 , G5 plus and Redmi Note 4, are the most balanced phones,

so you can pick any of them and I have made comparison on these 3 phones along with Honor

6x and Lenovo Z2 plus, so check that video if you want more info

So guys that's pretty much It

RFPs Part 7: Big Picture Advice - Duration: 2:13.

Hi there.

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.

This is the last part in a seven-part video series on issuing an RFP or Request for Proposal

to potential partners to publish a journal.

This part is called Big Picture Advice.

So, the contract is signed and the journal has a new long-term publishing agreement.

The announcements have been made.

Congratulations.

Now onto the transition period and growing the journal.

Some overall takeaway points from this series:

With the RFP process, leave more time than expected.

Do not rush the process.

Get buy in from all internal stakeholders.

Everyone involved in publishing or with the journal should have a voice.

The end result is equal only to the effort put into the process.

There is no short cut to the process.

The journal, the market, and the association are unique as is the new relationship that

will grow from it.

The best partner is an experienced one with, not only a deep history and knowledge in publishing,

but also one that understands the field of study that the journal covers.

The RFP and the proposals that are submitted need to focus on definable, tangible points

and not stray too far into broad pronouncements.

A focus on results will serve everyone in the long-term relationship.

An increased royalty percentage, a big signing bonus, or a great minimum guarantee on royalty

are all well and good.

But at the end of the day, the journal and the association are in it for the long term.

Quality should be the focus for all content and publishing decisions.

It helps ensure long-term success and serves members well.

My final reminder is that working with a publishing consultant during the process saves time,

focuses the group's efforts, and benefits the association by bringing a deep understanding

of publishing and it changing complexities.

If you are about to launch an RFP effort, I hope we can connect about possibly working

together.

Well that is it.

RFPs Part 6: Negotiations, Decisions, & Signing the Contract - Duration: 3:27.

Hi there.

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.

This is the sixth in a seven-part video series on issuing an RFP or Request for Proposal

to potential partners to publish a journal.

This part is called Negotiations, Decisions, and Signing the Final Contract.

So, the proposals have all been reviewed and scored based on a selection criteria.

Let us say two finalists have been tapped by the group.

It is time to closely compare the strengths and weaknesses of each potential partner.

How does the communication style of the publisher meld with the culture of the association?

How have the personal meetings and calls gone well between the groups?

Depending on whether meetings have already taken place between the organizations, there

may be a value of meeting again, face-to-face one more time.

Whether in person or on the phone, the society will likely want to discuss the finer points

of the proposal and the relationship.

There might be some give and take on services offered, expectations, of course, the final

financial package.

A publishing consultant will play a valuable roll at this point to bring the best deal

to the table for the association.

After the final go rounds with both prospective publishers and the best offers have been made,

now the internal group reconvenes for a final discussion.

The scoring grid from the selection criteria should be updated as well as a comparison

of the best offers and the measure of the responses from both groups.

In the best scenario, a clear leader would emerge.

If it is murkier, have all stakeholders give their assessment of both parties with a final

recommendation.

Then a final candidate is chosen to be the new partner.

Reminder a buy in from all stakeholders is essential.

At this point, a draft contract has probably been reviewed.

Now it is time to see the full contract with all of the points from the proposal translated

into the agreement.

Accountability is the key.

When in doubt, spell it out.

Through the whole process, the association's legal team should have been involved.

The association's legal counsel at the end of the day are there to ensure the contract

"details" what was agreed upon.

So, the contract is signed and the deal is done.

Assuming the journal is published by one publisher and now will be moving to a new one, a call

to the old publisher thanking them for their efforts is appropriate.

Lay out a separate time for a call to discuss a transition plan with the appropriate team

members.

I would suggest then notifying all the other publishers by phone and thanking them for

their time.

Follow it up with an email.

All of these calls to the other publishers take time but may prove of value.

The time to renegotiate the next contract is probably closer than one would like to

think about.

When all parties have been notified and the transition plan and timeline are set, consider

announcing the news to members, staff, the community, and the press.

The RFP process, as I mentioned, may take a year from start to end.

But the end result should be establishing a firm relationship with a well-respected

publisher for mutual benefit to the association and the readers.

How did Michael Chong become the poster boy for Guatemalan toilets? | 22 Minutes - Duration: 2:16.

Conservative leadership candidate Michael Chong has become the poster-boy for clean,

public washrooms in Guatemala.

A Canadian spotted Chong's larger than life smiling face on a poster outside a public

washroom promoting sanitary toilets.

The poster-boy for Guatemalan toilets joins me now.

Conservative MP Michael Chong, good evening.

Good evening.

How did you end up on this poster?

Uh, we have no idea.

We think they took the photo off the internet some years ago and they thought it was a good

photo and they decided to use it.

So, somebody Googled "Dirty Toilet Man" and you came up?

That's right.

You know, I think it's perfect since as a Canadian politician

you've been probably talking crap for years.

So, you're the face of public toilets and Kellie Leitch is the voice of public toilets?

Well-well you know, Mark, my number one priority is winning the Conservative leadership race

but my number two priority, just behind, is hygienic Guatemalan washrooms.

I know that's always been something you've been very passionate about.

Now, what's with the Conservatives and bathrooms?

We have you modeling for clean toilets and we also have Kevin O'Leary modeling in toilets.

Can you turn this over to help you win your campaign?

Is the Conservative party the Guatemalan toilet of Canada?

Now, you're not the only one this has happened to recently.

A Canadian saw this poster of me in Mexico.

I-I don't speak Spanish so I'm not quite sure what it says.

Now, Michael, with the recent charges of vote buying in both Kevin O'Leary's and Maxime

Bernier's teams, I think it's safe to say that you're not the only candidate whose campaign

is in the toilet these days.

I think you're right on that, Mark.

Uh, what do you think about all that?

Well, I think the allegations, if they're true, are very concerning.

I don't think vote-rigging has any place in our democracy and that's why I've proposed

democratic reforms to reform political parties and clean up our system.

Donald Trump drained the swamp.

Are you going to flush the swamp?

I am absolutely going to flush the swamp.

Well, hopefully this will make you go number one, or number two, in the polls.

Uh, thank you so much for joining us.

Michael Chong!

Great to be here.

Need For Speed No Limits Q&A With Jun Imai - Duration: 2:25.

We were inspired by all of our trips to Hong Kong

It was actually inspired by a cab ride over there.

Because the drivers there,

they have so much precision, but they

drive so fast through these alleyways and

streets and negotiating the Hong Kong traffic.

We're like, this is really cool, it's

like being in a race car but we're in a

taxi cab, right? I think that night we might

have started sketching out the ideas and

we started putting the huge

motor in there, the aerodynamics, you know

make it kind of deconstructed.

Like, what would happen if we took a Hong Kong

taxi cab and turned it into a street race car, right?

So, that was inspiration for that.

We do quite a bit of exploration in Hot Wheels design.

We're constantly pushing the

limits, seeing what we can do.

Sometimes we design cars that are a little

too crazy for maybe the time period, but

you know what, we'll hang on to those

designs, we'll revisit them later, or they

actually might inspire other designs.

So definitely, it's part of the process.

We always like to push a little too far

because we are forward thinking designers.

And it will, you know kind of put it where we need to be.

I think one of the two most exciting things with car culture today

is just kind of reliving the past,

revisiting all of these machines.

From the 60s and 70s and maybe even the 80s now a days.

For me, the ultimate goal would

be to take a classic car, you know, put in

a modern hybrid electric drivetrain,

because it's kind of the best of both worlds for me.

I love seeing myself on the artwork and just,

you know, being a character throughout the game!

It was a great experience because I relate that to my

personal experiences, you know I'm out

there on the streets in my cars with my friends.

So it was really cool to see

that aspect portrayed in to the video game.

That's super cool.

It really is authentic because when I

start playing a game I immerse myself into it, and it's really

representative of, kind of like what I

envision myself doing in the streets.

Of course in the game I'm able to do a lot

more faster driving and do a few

things that I shouldn't be doing.

But I think it really captures kind of the grit

and the feel of what driving out in the

street is about, and that's what I'm about.

Hey race fans, I'm Jun Imai from Hot Wheels design.

Join me on the streets of Need For Speed No Limits.

Shawn Overton's Shaffer Story - Duration: 2:43.

Hi, my name is Shawn Overton and I'm a training specialist here at Crete Carrier Corporation

in the IT department, and this is my story.

So how did I come to get into trucking?

I actually didn't have any background in the industry, what happened was my wife was pregnant

with our first daughter and I was looking for something with a little some stability

to it, something with some room for advancement.

My sister had worked for Crete Carrier Corporation for several years.

She's still with the company today as a manager in our Safety department.

I talked to her about what positions were available and she mentioned that there was

a position available in our operations department, so I actually applied for that position and

came on board with the company.

Probably one of the best moves I've made in quite a while.

With that I was in operations for a little over 2 years and the funny thing about my

current position when I was going through orientation.

First few days with the company I went through orientation with a gentleman named Zach Moore

and Zach was a training specialist as well and I asked my sister, how do I go about getting

Zach's position.

She kind of laughed and said well if it comes available you got to apply for it, and so

I said okay.

A couple of years later I did apply for it and received my current position, which I've

been in for a little over four years now.

Total I've been with Crete for a little over six years, and liked it so much I even dragged

my wife along with me.

She's actually a recruiter in the recruiting department.

Recruiting drivers over the road, and so she came on board just a few months after I did,

so we both have been with the company for right around six years.

Really enjoy working in the trucking industry and my position specifically.

I get to work with individuals from different departments, I get to interact with drivers

on a daily basis, I get to meet all kinds of new people.

I conduct the orientation for our on-site location here in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Pretty much every Monday, and I get to meet everybody that comes through the terminal.

It's a good position to be in if you're interactive of course and if you like to meet new people

because that's definitely what the position is all about.

I truly enjoy my job.

I get to learn a whole bunch about different things, different systems being in the IT

department.

Plus I get to help people and bring them on board and tell them all the great things that

our company has to offer, so just want to say thank you for letting me take some of

your time today and listen to my story and have a good day.

@TorontoPolice Cold Case Homicide #47 for 2001 - Sudarsan Velauthapillai - Duration: 1:57.

On Monday October 1st, 2001, at approximately 9:27 p.m., several emergency calls were received at the

Toronto Police Communications Bureau regarding the sound of gunshots in the

vicinity of 72 Avening Drive in Etobicoke. When police arrived they located

members of the Toronto EMS tending to the deceased near the front door of his

residence. The victim and his girlfriend had just arrived home from dinner at a

local restaurant when he was ambushed as he got out of his car. He was shot numerous times.

His girlfriend was lucky to escape this targeted attack unharmed.

The deceased was identified as 23 year old Sudarsan Velauthapillai.

He went by the nickname of "Maudo" and had only recently moved into

the Avening Drive home. He was working as a courier prior to the murder.

About two weeks before his murder his close friend Saravanan Yogorajah was also murdered.

A search of the scene yielded numerous cartridge casings as well as a

hat that fell off the shooters head when he ran away. The hat is a fisherman style hat with a

black, blue, and white camouflage design. The shooter is described as being male,

Sri Lankan, brown-skinned, medium height and weight and approximately 20 to 25 years old.

This would currently make him 37 to 40 years old. He may also be left-handed.

The investigation revealed that the deceased was associated to others involved in

Tamil organized crime. In March of 2002, a DNA profile was developed that

investigators believe belongs to the shooter. This DNA does not currently

match to any other known profile in the National DNA Data Bank. We need a name to

go along with this DNA. If you know who the shooter is make contact with the

Toronto Police and identify him. We have his DNA so all we need from you is his name, nothing more.

Ergonomic Innovations Orthopedic Donut Cushion Review - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 5:03.

Hey everybody it's Doctor Jo, and it's

product review time again. The folks at

economic innovation sent me their

orthopedic donut cushion, so let's get started.

So the donut cushion comes in a really nice gift box.

A lot of times cushions just come in

regular packaging, so if you want to give

it away for someone as a gift, or if you

want to store it somewhere,

it's a nice sturdy box. And once you open

it up, you see you have the cushion here

and it's a donut cushion. It's got a hole

in between so it's a little different

than just your normal everyday cushions

that you sit in for work or something

like that.

What's really cool about the donut

cushion is if you have certain things

like hemorrhoids or coccyx issues, any

kind of pressure sores on your bottom,

this big opening really helps take the

pressure off of it. You can see here that

it has some contours so when you're

sitting on that coccyx area,

it takes all that pressure off of it and

then it helps you sit in a more neutral

position. So even people, women who are

pregnant, that have a lot of pressure

going one way or the other, this works

really really nicely for them. As you can

see here, it's really soft on the the top, the

outer piece, and what super nice is the

zipper that opens up is really

frustration-free because it opens all the

way around. So if you want to take it out

to wash it, you don't have to push and

pull and take it out and squish it back

in, it opens all the way up which is

super nice and super easy to then

throw it in the washing machine, and wash it.

What's also cool on the back, you can see

here, these little silicone dots these

are a little more pronounced than some

of the cushions I've seen which is

really nice, when you put in the chair it's

not going to slide away, so you get in a

spot that you need it, and it stays in

that one spot, so that's really nice.

It's also got just the right amount of

firmness, but it's not super soft either,

so it's a nice in the middle where you're

going to get a little bit of give to

make it comfortable, but it's not going

to bottom out at the bottom either, it's

still going to support you as you sit. So

especially if you have those butt bones

as ischial tuberosities, those are sore,

it does a really good job of taking some

pressure off of it, but not making it

bottomed out where you hit those on the

ground or on on the chair which

sometimes is really painful, especially

if you don't have a lot of cushion

underneath. But any kind of things that

you know pressure sores, or you know

tunneling, if you have issues like that,

where you know something that's a

little bit more extreme than just pain

in general, these donut ones that have

that big opening are very helpful, but

they're even helpful for just sciatic

pain or just pain in general because

like I said, when you sit on it helps

get you in a more neutral position, so

that's really nice. I like that and it's

super comfy, so let me show you what it

looks like when you sit on it.

The nice thing about this cushion is

it's got the opening on both sides so

you can put it either way, and they spent

a long time making the dimensions just

right so you can sit almost virtually in

any chair, so it's not super big but it's

not super small, it is just right, and so

once you get on it that opening in the

back you want it to be right in the

middle on that coccyx and that takes

off that pressure back there, and then in

the front it takes some pressure

underneath as well, so if you have

something like sciatic pain or the nerve

running down your legs, circulation

running down your legs, a lot of times if

you're sitting on a hard chair for a

long time,

it cuts off the pressure there and then

you get numbness and tingling in your

feet. When you're sitting on the cushion

in your chair, usually once you put a

cushion in, it changes the height so make

sure your feet are flat on the floor and

if not make sure you put something

underneath because you want your knees

and your hips to be about a 90 degree

angle, and when you sit on the cushion

it's really nice because it puts me up

in an upright position. It puts those

hips in a neutral position, so even if

you have something like a herniated disc,

again that sciatic pain,

stenosis, if you're in that neutral

position it's more comfortable. So if i try

and slouch, it kind of feels funny on

that cushion, so it encourages me to sit

in that upright position, so it's really

nice, it's really comfortable, and again

those openings underneath take that

pressure off the bottom off the coccyx

area, if there's any pressure sores or

ulcers then it allows that circulation

in there to help the healing process.

That's really nice. If you have any questions,
