A new study conducted at the Cleveland Clinic, which followed 122,000 people for 23 years

found that not exercising is worse for your health than smoking.

Researchers found a direct link between a longer, healthier life and high levels of exercise.

Even the study authors were surprised by the results and said,

"Being unfit on a treadmill or in an exercise stress test has a worse prognosis as far

as death than being hypertensive (that's high blood pressure),

being diabetic, or being a current smoker."

The people who were in the worst physical shape at the beginning of the

study had the highest risk of death in the next 20 years.

And the people who were in the best physical shape had the lowest risk of death.

"We've never seen something as pronounced and as objective as this."

Running, rowing,

swimming, biking,

jazzercise, zumba, rock climbing.

It doesn't matter what type of exercise you do.

Just get out there and do something fun that you enjoy.

30 to 60 minutes per day 6 days a week.

so here we are at the beginning of 2019 Happy New Year but before the year fully

you see I've been making videos about my bow making and archery journey for two

years now - that's nearly a hundred videos a one and a half million views and

during that time many of you have come along with me and subscribed joined the

conversation given me encouragement and a few thumbs down

what I mean is do you

STRAIGHTENING MY NATURAL HAIR FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 3 YEARS (START TO FINISH) !?!?!?!| LIA LAVON - Duration: 9:59.

Hey Youtube fam! It's your girl Lia back again with another video and today's

video as you can see from the title is just me flat ironing my hair for the

first time in almost three years. Now you may be asking yourself haven't I seen

your hair straight on this channel before. Yes, but that was professionally

done. If I was gonna only flat iron my hair one time a year you best believe

somebody else was gonna do it. I wasn't going to attempt it but I have not used

my own flat iron which I spent a pretty penny on back in 2014 in a long time. So

I wanted to use it today and put pen to pad. Put flat iron to hair and see if I

have it. If I still have the ability to flat iron my hair. Now this will be the

last time you see my hair straight in a whole year. So I'm not gonna flat iron my

hair for almost the entirety of 2019 probably not until December 28th 2019.

But if you want to see how I did it this year 2018 and got this look just keep

watching. Now I've already gone ahead and

shampooed my hair and for that I use the Shea Moisture Raw Shea butter moisture

retention shampoo. And for a deep conditioner I'm using the Shea Moisture

intense hydration hair mask. Now for the deep treatment of my hair I'm just gonna

take my plastic cap as well as my steamer and sit up under the steamer for

a full treatment. And what a full treatment is is until the water runs out

or the machine makes kind of a beeping noise just depending on what kind of

steamer you have. I typically start with the cap on my head and then

progressively as I'm sitting under the steamer for longer and longer I start

to take the cap off. I know a lot of times you don't do that in like a public

setting if somebody else is using the steamer but quite frankly I'm the only

person who uses a steamer. This is my steamer so I don't feel any type of way

about letting the hair just get all the moisture it can by just being out there

in the steamer. The cap does a good job but the low porosity of my hair just

needs all the steam that it can get. So next I'm going in with my product that

is both my leave-in and heat protectant and that has to be my Hawaiian silky 14 in one

miracle worker. You guys know I love this for not only my natural hair but

also my crochet hair. It's just a really good dual use

product. So as you can see my hair is separated into sections and that so I

can work in kind of smaller sections. So what I'm doing is putting in the

leave-in slash heat protectant then detangling that hair and then going in

with the bow dryer. So blow-drying my hair is one of my least favorite things

of the day. I just hate blow-drying my hair. Wash day is not a fun day for me.

When I take out of crochet hair and it's wash day and it's blow-dry day

it ain't a pretty day because as you can see my hair is very thick. But I'm

just gonna blow-dry the entirety of my hair which is going to take quite some

time. Also before I get any questions about what kind of blow-dryer I'm using Tisun it is just some random Hot Tools blow dryer that I bought from my local beauty

supply store Tisun about maybe four or five years ago. So it's very old and I can't

even claim it to be the best it's just what I have. Now after I've completed the

grueling task of blow-drying my hair it's time for the flat iron. Now before I

get all the comments about I'm not doing it right. I should have sectioned my hair

a little bit better. I should use a comb instead of a brush to chase blah blah

blah blah blah. Look here you're dealing with a girl who has not flat ironed

her own hair in almost three years you gotta just work with me through the

process. I know there's a better way for me to do it. A more intricate way but

after you get done blow-drying your hair and spend all that time you really just

ready for this process to be done. So you just gonna grab your flat iron,

get your brush, and just start going ham in no particular order.

So as I mentioned in the intro this is a flatiron I bought in 2014. It is the

Babyliss Pro Nano one inch straightener. And I bought this from Ulta four years

ago. I was so proud of myself I saved up like 30 to 40 dollars in Ulta rewards

points. So I was like the one thing I'm gonna buy is flat iron because it is

super expensive. It was still super expensive even with

my points but I just heard this was the best on the line so I had to have it.

Bought it four years ago. I really did use it up those two years that I was

putting heat to my head but then once I gave it up in 2016 I gave this flat iron

over to my sister and my mother so they could get some use out of it cuz it was

no use using it if I was going to be crocheting

my hair 24/7. But it isn't really good flat iron if you are in the market for one

again though very expensive. Also I know I'm gonna get a lot of questions from

you guys out there Lia how long did it take you to do this from start to finish.

I'm gonna go ahead and say right now don't use me as a guideline on this. Now

I'm filming on top of the fact that as you can see I did take a little break to

do my makeup. As well as a off-camera krispy kreme little intermission that I

had. I had a couple of couple of glaze and a couple of glaze cream filled in

between this process. So please don't go by me but if I had just sat

down and did it it pretty much would haven taken me about maybe two hours and

maybe 15 minutes just to be honest just because my hair is very thick and it

just is an overall long process to both blow-dry and flat iron my hair.

So after I get done with that Flatiron I go in with my curling iron

simply because when my stylist does my hair she always adds little curls at the

bottom of it and she actually uses the flatiron for that but I myself don't got

the flick of the wrist to be able to make my flat iron curl my hair. So I go in

with my curling iron just to see if I can get that same kind of body that she

gets whenever she does my blowout styles. You guys will see at the end if I was

able to actually achieve that or not or maybe you saw at the intro but I was trying

to add a little bit of body to my hair.

Now this curling iron is also from the babyliss line. I actually bought this maybe

seven years ago. I was still in college when I bought this. Only because at that

time I could not afford the flat iron which I knew was really good but I was

like I'll settle for you know the curling wand and see if that'll do a

good job. Now it does do a fairly good job but again I think you can get

something a little bit cheaper. Now this was less than maybe like 40 bucks on

Amazon at the time but for me I've had better cheaper curling irons. So the next

thing you're seeing me do is another thing that I have taken from my stylist

and that is all wrapping my hair after I've gotten done with the flat iron and

the curling wand. Now if your style is down below in the comments please let me

know what this does because I'm not fully aware but my stylist always does

it so I'm gonna go ahead and do it in this video. And since I don't have a

dryer. So she usually Saran wraps my hair and then sits me out of the dryer for

like a minute. I ain't got no sit on the dryer. I invested my money in that

steamer that y'all saw earlier. I had an idea of either a sit under steamer or

sit under dryer and I went with the steamer option. So I'm just gonna go in

with my handheld blow dryer and go ahead and heat that thing up for not even that

long maybe 30 seconds so finally I take that saran wrap off and then we have the

finished look

so this is the finished look let me get you a little kind of turnaround see

those pink I don't see kind of thicker in the back and then over here and well

give you guys kind of a full look at the hair and how it is looking overall

that's to say I think it turned out ok I think my one concern with my hair is

gonna always be my ends my ends are always kind of not as you don't have the

same feel as up here so when I do my deep conditions and my treatments I

really need to focus a lot more on my ends because I don't think they're

getting the love and attention they required especially since my hair is

colored I don't know if you can really see but you guys can tell this it's a

different color than is that um but I think overall turned out really well

also another thing I love my Hawaiian silky go hard for and to leave it as

well as for my crochet braids I love the Hawaiian silky but for this

as a thermal protectant and when you're gonna flat on your hair

afterwards love it for if you're gonna do a protective style but if you're

gonna do a flatter and I think it's a little bit too heavy of a product leaves

your hair a little bit heavier then say you went to a professional when I get my

professional blow up my hair doesn't feel as heavy as it feels right now it

feels a little bit too heavy I would say so it's a little bit too heavy of a

product for when you're gonna flat iron hair but still go hard for my Hawaiian

silky but you guys be the judge how do you overall unlike this you guys see the

progression take it all in cuz you ain't gonna see it straight again throughout

Tips for on-ride photos Disneyland Paris | where are the on-ride pictures taken? - Duration: 12:30.

hey guys in this video we are gonna talk about the on-ride photos that you can take

with your Photopass and we're gonna show you where the cameras are exactly so

that you can prepare for the best funny pic you can ever imagine so we are going

to tell you in which attractions they are

and where exactly those pictures are taken we start off with Big Thunder

Mountain and Buss Lightyear laser blast and then there's also a photo opportunity in

a beautiful Pirates of the Caribbean and also if you'd like to have more of a

spectacular ride you can also have a photo taken in Rock 'n Rollercoaster and last

but not least Star Wars hyperspace Mountain and the Tower of Terror of course with a

spectacular drop so these were two rides where you can have your photo taken

let's go over there and show you guys where the photo is actually being taken

I went from 200 points to 51000

stand by for action because this is where the photo is being taken that

there should be the camera

so now we're going to find out you were right he founded so it was true it was

because Sven tells me when that moment takes place because I always forget

when I'm inside a ride I am like let's enjoy the ride and that's a good thing

yeah and then we also prepare what we are going to do when the photo is taken

but most of the time is just a spontaneous

and here you can get approval photos it is a photo that's been taken outside

here Big Thunder Mountain you can see what winter time was it summer yeah

is it a night is it a day yeah these moments are really fun yeah absolutely

get a very good fragment of your time here in Disneyland Paris yeah and we've

done this ride several times and you really can see the difference in the

lighting if it's sunny or if it's at night then you really can see a little

bit of the flash that they use all in all great photo option next ride on the

list is rock and rollercoaster a thrill ride that keeps you anticipating because

of a countdown before launch. The photo is taken directly after the launch

so next time you're in one of these carts get ready! We can conclude that

the camera is actually more 'up'. We were looking like we

we were sitting and we were looking like this, but we have to look like this. That's our conclusion.

yeah absolutely here we are at the Tower of Terror and we are here because

there's also a photo opportunity in this ride we only know that it's in front of

you and well the right is so spectacular that we can all focus on to find out

where the camera exactly is and when the photo is actually taken when you are in

this ride you are so overwhelmed by all the action we don't want to spoil too

much maybe already done this ride and you know exactly what we're talking about

but it's like Oh what is what is going on what is what is happening and we

tried to look around us trying to see where the camera is exactly but the only

thing I was thinking about was how do I get out of this ride as soon as possible

so I'm sorry guys we don't know exactly when it's taken place

probably after the first drop or during the first drop back to me but

it's right in front of you to try to smile it's already whole challenge

oh but yeah this is the case with this ride yeah it's it's the most difficult

one to get a special pose with your friends or family so well just enjoy the

ride it's fun one of the other rides that has a photo taken while you're in

the ride itself is ... Pirates of the Caribbean!

the photo is taken at the moment of the second drop in the

ride so first you go up first drop no photo second drop photo!

To give you an idea of where the second drop is, it's after the big scene

with all the fire with all the fire and the pirates looting and plundering the

town yes so this gives you an idea of when to be ready for that

photos in your ride, but to find the right angle for the camera

it was quite a task.

right we should have looked a little bit more up to the front so more to the front.

what makes this ride so fun to take you to have your photo taken

You can think about how you want to go on the photo how do you know what the pose is you

know after which scene the drop is going to take place and we tried several

things of course you always have to be careful not to block the view of people

behind you so heads up for example it's not a good idea - good idea very grumpy

people behind you when you're previewing your photos so. For some people this is

the only ride they are going to take because maybe they are they are in Disneyland Paris

only one day and then their photo was ruined because of your hands

yeah nobody wants that right? So if you must put your hands up ask for a seat in the back.

Yeah that's a good idea.

Another ride where photos are taken is here in Hyperspace Mountain

It's a really fun photo because you can pose for it

and that's because the photo is taken before the ride takes

if that makes sense. So before you get the launch, you already get your picture taken.

The ride photo for hyperspace mountain will be taken just when you

leave the boarding station. So here you go into the tunnel, through the corner,

down here ... that's where your photo gets taken and then. Be prepared to be launched into the Canon.

It would have been different if the photo opportunity would have been exactly when you are launched

and everybody will be thrilled and the picture would be entirely different but

unfortunately that's not the case but it's also a benefit because yeah you

can pose for this picture and create a picture that maybe you had in mind along

just like we did the other time with our map of Disneyland Paris.

So is the Photopass Plus worth the money?

Well, it could be, because if you buy one ride photo which is 20x25 cm

including frame it's 25 euros so, 4 photos and it's cheaper already.

If you take the cheapest option of the photos, which is a photo 9 x 6 centimeters. It's 17 euro's.

Even then it's cheaper to get the Photopass plus, instead of buying all the small photos separately.

If you take into account that all the photo pass photographers

are included as well, then you've really got a good deal on the photos here in Disneyland Paris.

not your typical breeding for profit in a 10-gallon scenario. Poison dart frogs,

and not just any poison dart frogs the blue poison dart frogs. When I had them

in the 90's they were known as Dendro bates azureus since then they've been

reclassified as a subspecies of the Dendrobates tinctorious so now they

have a longer name. Dendrobates tinctorious azureus and here's a model not to

scale, but very much larger than the tiny inch and a half adult frogs. Don't forget

to check the description for some good titles to get you started on poison dart

frog care. Notice the azureus' blue color and the spots on the back these can be

random sizes and random shapes and random numbers of them. The blue poison

dart frog is one of the larger poison dart frogs and more terrestrial. It likes

to lay its eggs at ground level are just above ground level.

Such an interesting topic it's no surprise that it's been the subject of

recent podcasts and interviews here a couple sound bites and some clips so

being a fish guy I'm like I'm said fish keepers are the best dart frog keepers

to build this project you're only gonna need some easy to get inexpensive

supplies and some basic tools here we go a few basic tools as all it takes first

I'm mark and cut the plastic cloth known as cross stitch canvas then I'm gonna

take the jigsaw and cut this fluorescent light cover commonly known as egg crate

this is going to cover 80% of the bottom of the ten gallon aquarium it's gonna be

raised to form the false bottom here I'm scoring the solid plastic fluorescent

light cover to fit the top of the ten gallon as a lid to keep the humidity up

this special menu item for a limited time together with barbeque aioli loaded

we head off to McDonald's in Australia to try this special menu item.

the McRib, yes make it a meal Small Meal.

look at the sauce, all coming out. so we've got a McRib now and the loaded

barbeque fries, but before we start I like to shout out

McRib. oh it looks like it's gonna be messy, look at all the sauce all over the

container it's got a special McRib container there. Wow! so this is the McRib

look from outside it does have all that sauces like in the picture all oozing

out. Wow! have a look at that what has have inside oh it's got two

pickles and a little bit of onion in there on a pork, boneless pork rib patty

Wow! okay looks really good.

they probably got it right with a sauciness, it's really saucy. Wow! look at

that there's more sauce, they put heaps of sauce underneath check it out that's a lot of

sauces got sauces all over the containers as well. It's been over 10

years since I ate a McRib so let's see how I remember it.

Mmmm...

It's not bad, the sauce is quite nice actually

it's a really rich smoky barbecue sauce

the rib patty, it feels a little processed. The rib patty definitely feels

processed it doesn't have as much texture, have a look at the

cross-section here you can see you can see the pork rib the pickles and the bun

and the sauce in there. oh well it's here for a limited time I

guess I'll say to say goodbye to it for a while. Alright now we've got the loaded

fries so these are just regular McDonalds french fries and what they've done is

they've topped it with garlic aioli and some of the barbecue sauce from the

McRib barbecue sauce and they've topped it with some caramelized onion or

grilled onion here. So let's have a bit of the fries with all the sauce and the

onion. oh this this fry looks good. alright so check out this fry it's got

a bit of onion in all the sauces on it. I'm gonna try

mmm it's pretty good as well, the sauces does make a difference and that grilled

and caramelized onion just give it a contrast in texture to it adds a new

dimension to the fries, so I'm gonna have a bit more, mmm... I'm kind of used to

McDonald fries being hot and crispy.

and these fries have become a bit soggy but that's expected as they're soaking up

all the sauces. Wow there was a decent meal. The McRib is actually not too

bad for fast food standards but can't really pass for a restaurant food. So

GM Sued For Using Temps At Fort Wayne Instead Of Laid-Off Workers - Duration: 2:49.

The United Auto Workers (UAW) union sued General Motors on Thursday accusing the automaker of using temporary workers at the Fort Wayne, Indiana plant instead of bringing in laid-off workers from other plants

According to UAW, the automaker's use of temporary workers at the Indiana facility violates its labor deal

The union said GM should hire some of the approximately 700 laid-off hourly employees from Lordstown Assembly that have the right to transfer to factories with openings

GM has already cut two shifts at the Ohio plant that will stop making the Chevy Cruze in March 2019

The civil lawsuit filed in U.S.District Court in Youngstown, Ohio claims that GM violates a memorandum of understanding with the UAW

The agreement allowed the carmaker to hire temporary employees from May 31, 2018, through August 31, 2018, to support the launch of the new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks at the Fort Wayne Assembly Plant

UAW maintains that GM continued the use of the workers even though the union denied a request to extend the temporary employment until the end of February 2019

Following a series of failed negotiations, the UAW gave GM until the end of November 2018 to replace the temps with union members — despite the fact that General Motors wanted an extension to May 2019

The lawsuit says the automaker continues to use temporary workers in Fort Wayne although many of the 690 employees laid off in Lordstown have applied for jobs there

The UAW demands the court to order GM to stop using the temps at the Indiana plant and replace them with union members

In a statement to WFMJ, a GM communications manager says the company has already started to bring employees from Lordstown Assembly to Fort Wayne

The representative said that "about 35 Lordstown UAW members will be in place by the end of January

"The spokesperson added GM has ongoing discussions with the UAW regarding its staffing needs in Fort Wayne but "no further comments on the lawsuit

Now, we all love movies, but nothing beats free movies.

Now imagine the situation, you've just finished a series and you've exhausted the list of

movies that you wanted to watch.

You'll surely not know what to do with your life then right?

So, for such situations, and a few others, we bring to you a list of different websites

with different collections of absolutely free movies and tv shows.

What's most amazing is that all these sites are legal so you don't have to feel guilty

about watching something for free.

Anyway..What's with the wait..let's get started.

The 1st website is called Crackle.

It's owned by Sony so you can expect to have some great movies and TV shows here.

Actually their amazing collection is what makes Crackle one of the best sites on the

list today.

They have movies such as Charlie's Angels and Da Vinci Code, and TV series such as Joey

and Seinfeld.

You should just be prepared to watch a few commercials and you'll be good to go.

There are a few points to be noted here.

First off, Crackle works only in the US.

But the people in other parts of the world can access it using any good and safe VPN.

In fact, I am myself using a VPN right now to show you this site.

Another point is that this a streaming site, you can stream Video on Demand but you cannot

download movies.

Now apart from popular ones, Crackle also has their original movies and TV shows which

you can again watch for free.

And they also have apps on both app store and play store.

All in all, Crackle is a complete package for binge watching free movies and TV Shows.

Let's move onto the 2nd website, PlutoTV.

As the name might suggest, this website is more like a TV.

They have mimicked the interface of a TV and so the programs run live and therefore you

can only stream the content, downloading is not possible.

Mind you, they also have the option of Video on demand which has a very impressive collection.

They have 75+ TV channels showing varying content.

There's comedy, drama, thriller and even documentaries.

Their movie channels are also great.

Only catch is that they keep shuffling their collection and so you can't really keep

a track of which movies will be available the following week.

The collection is nonetheless superb with movies such as Stuart Little and Kung Fu Hustle.

PlutoTV works seamlessly in the US but can cause problems in other places.

So the best solution would be again, to use a VPN.

They also have apps working for almost all platforms.

The interface is very clean and smooth and that makes the experience even better.

Now that we've spoken about websites that work well in the US, let's look at a website

that is doing really well in India.

Hotstar is a video on demand, hindi entertainment website that belongs to Star India.

Now people outside India will have to access Hotstar using a VPN.

They have a vast collection of free Hindi movies and TV shows such as Drishyam, Jolly

LLB 2 and Masterchef India.

But the entertainment doesn't stop there, you can also watch live TV, sports, comedy

series and news.

By the way, it also has movies in other languages, including English, Telugu, Malayalam, etc.

The latest content on Hotstar cannot be downloaded, but some of the older movies can be.

Also, their apps on the app store and play store are very well-designed and can give

you the perfect on-the-go viewing experience.

The Premium membership will surely open up a lot more options, but there is enough free

content to make you come back to Hotstar again and again.

The 4th website on our list is Retrovision, which is a platform for all those who love

the classics.

It has a great collection of some amazing classic movies and TV shows such as

Sherlock Holmes and Godzilla.

The best thing about Retrovision is it's genre specific menu.

This categorization makes it very easy to browse through the website.

Another great thing is that this website can be accessed from anywhere in the world, it's

not location specific.

Now it's a streaming site and therefore doesn't allow you to download content.

And it has an Android app called Classic UHF.

You should definitely try Retrovision if you're a fan of Classics.

Coming to the 5th website, PopcornFlix.

First of all, let me take a moment to appreciate the name of the website, PopcornFlix is such

a cool name it has won my heart with the name itself.

And it has stayed true to its name, it's got plentiful amazing movies and tv shows

such as the Adventures of Tintin and the Paddington Bear.

The genres include action, drama, comedy, romance, sci-fi, etc etc.

You get the drift, it covers almost every genre possible.

One thing to keep in mind is the commercials, you'll have to deal with them to be able

to watch the content on this site.

Now its owned by Screen Media Ventures and even though it was initially available only

in US and Canada, it recently launched in 36 more countries.

Sadly, most of its content is still not available in India, so VPN it is for us.

The site doesn't give you the option to download content, you can only watch it online.

One real cute thing is this comment box.

You can put down comments for specific moments in the movie and there's also an option

to put up GIFs.

They also have apps on both app store and play store and I feel that Popcornflix is

a great option for watching free and legal movies on the internet.

And last but not the least, the most popular platform for videos and for movies and tv shows - YouTube.

You might not know this, but there are many ways in which you can watch movies and tv

shows for free on YouTube.

The most direct of them is to go the movies section and browse through the collection

of free, ad supported movies.

This section was recently made free but only in the US.

As of now everyone else will have to use VPN to binge away on these free movies.

Apart from that, there are various other channels which post some good movies from time to time.

But the catch is that you'll have to be good at searching them.

And if you're a lazy bum who's not willing to put in a lot of effort, here are some names

to kick start your search - there's Maverick Entertainment, Viewster, in fact even Popcornflix

Called Bye bye, the show draws millions of viewers New Years Eve and is considered the television event of the holiday season in Quebec.

But this year the French arm of the CBC is on the defensive after a barrage of online criticism from people claiming the sketch was racist and made a mockery of Indian culture.

This video is completely disrespectful to our cultures. Kicking down cows, imitating our dances. Not cool, Ina Bhowmick, the founder and director of the Montreal cultural company Bollywood Blast, commented under the video on Radio Canadas Facebook page.

Ive experienced a lot of ignorance and racism growing up, another Facebook user, Maaha Khan, wrote. However, Ive never in my life been as offended as I am after watching this video. Congratulations Radio Canada for creating the most disgusting video of all time.

The Bye bye sketch was taking aim at Trudeaus trip to India last February during which he came under criticism for his frequent wearing of traditional Indian clothing. The online publication Outlook India referred to his outfits as too Indian even for an Indian.
