The star, who joined the X Factor group on their 2014 Salute Tour with her girl band MO, pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving in St Albans Crown Court.

The court heard how Samuels failed to look properly on a roundabout and thus crashed into mum-of-three Debbie Mills who was cycling in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

The 54-year-old suffered serious brain injuries in the collision and died later in hospital.

According to reports, Samuels is specifically close with Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

"You did not stop and you collided with her bicycle and she was knocked off.
